Great atmosphere and various selection of Chinese tapas. We got honey braised spare ribs, hot and sour soup, pork belly bites and for the main meals I got a stir fried udon and husband’s selection was a Mongolian beef. One star was taken out because the fried rice that was coming with a Mongolian beef for an additional charge was not fresh and tasteless. No signs of a fried egg in it or veggies. Definitely tasted reheated. The rest of food was satisfying! Atmosphere was amazing, beautiful decor, appropriate music and pleasant service. Recommended!
Just got my order DoorDashed! They truly went above & beyond. It literally only took them like 20 minutes too, I have a gluten allergy so I’d called and asked if they could accommodate and they made me their sesame chicken without the breading to accommodate! Their food came in a nice re usable to go bag, and nice reusable Tupperware at no extra charge! And their spicy is SPICY. They were yummy, fast, aesthetics were great and overall an amazing first time experience.
This place is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve tasted in north Denver. Everything is incredibly fresh, and every dish bursts with flavor. The tapas-style plates make it easy to try a variety of items, and honestly, they’re all phenomenal — but you have to try the asparagus! It’s perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and consistently amazing food, I’ll definitely be coming back!
This restaurant is a standout in the area. My husband and I came with a friend and we all shared: - Salt & Pepper Asparagus - Chicken Peanut Curry - Stir-Fried Udon - Crab Fried Rice & Curry - Walnut Shrimp - Spare Ribs The entree portions are huge, so don't order this much food unless you want leftovers. This was enough food for 5 people. My favorite things were the asparagus, shrimp, and udon. I really enjoyed everything though. I'd definitely recommend sharing food to try more things. I'd happily go back to try more of the menu.
SUPERB! The food is incredible. The quality is exceptional - not only the food, but the tables are marble, and the benches and chairs are soft comfortable cushioned leather. The music is upbeat but not too loud. The service (Justin) was friendly, informative and fast. To top it off, even though we came here, starving, we left with a full to-go container, and the bag they gave us is an insulated carry out bag with their custom logo. Incredible. We’ll be back! (We shared the beef and broccoli, and vege lo mein with chicken added.)
Absolutely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are passionate about food and very familiar with authentic Asian cuisine, as our family is Chinese. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere stunning, and the staff genuinely wonderful. We will definitely return and bring friends! Drunken noodles is our favorite. Black pepper filet mignon in sizzling pan was spectacular as well. Highly recommend!
We waited about 50 minutes to be seated. Reservations are recommended. Limited seating. Just a little PSA for everyone. Eat-and-go preferred here. Its very nice and a mellow mood environment. But, be considerate. The food is awesome! We love the take home bags. They even have a velcro flap to close.
Spencer went above and beyond to make our restaurant experience outstanding. He was attentive without being overbearing, offered great recommendations, and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Because of him, our time there was not only pleasant but memorable. The food here is absolutely amazing. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking, and it really makes a difference. This is the kind of place that everyone needs to try at least once—you won’t be disappointed.
Visiting the area and our group wanted Asian food. We hit the Jackpot here. We all had different dishes and each one was outstanding. We could taste the freshness in every bite. The portions were large and the pricing was from 5 years ago. Our servers Kariosly & Chan were knowledgeable, friendly and on cue. This is a must stop for anyone wanting a great affordable dining option.
Went in before the dinner rush so it was a little more quiet for my parents who are older. The manager even changed the music to be a little more their speed, which was much appreciated. Decor was upscale and felt very modern. The food was tasty and full of flavor, with all of us having plenty left over to bring him in the nicest takeout boxes and bag I’ve ever seen.
We went to Miya Moon on the last day of their soft open and had a wonderful experience! The food and service were absolutely amazing. The wait staff was attentive but not pushy, so we never felt rushed. The food was just delicious no question, not a single thing ordered was anything less than amazing. The atmosphere was great too! It's sleek and modern but still cozy and inviting. If you are a fan of Chinese/fusion cuisine Miya Moon is a must try! It will definitely be a permanent restaurant in our rotation of local spots!
Food: We tried many of the tapas! Including, cucumber salad, walnut shrimp, potstickers, honey glazed short ribs, and chili wontons. My favorite was the cucumber salad, served cold and extremely refreshing. Perfect hit of acid, and the chili flakes did not make it unbearably spicy. 4.9 Stars. My second favorite were the potstickers, the casing was soft and golden brown on the bottom. The filling was packed with meat and veggies, and the sauce enhanced the overall flavor. 4.7 Stars. The honey glazed short ribs were my 3rd favorite, the meat was cooked perfectly and was very moist on the inside. The sauce was sweet and sticky, gaining flavor every time I took another bite as it marinated for a few seconds longer. 4.6 Stars. My fourth favorite was the walnut shrimp. I LOVE walnut shrimp, and this was disappointing to me. The walnut was the best part about this. Crunchy and sweet like I expect. The shrimp was not coated in batter, but the sauce was good. I did not care at all for the shrimp cracker, I believe it added nothing but presentation (which was very pretty). 3.8 Stars. My least favorite was the chili wontons, in all honesty, there was nothing crazy about them. The sauce was good, but the filling was very one sided taste-wise. 3.2 Stars. I had the sesame chicken for my entree, and it was delicious. Great coating of batter, not too thick and not too thin, and you could taste the sesame seeds. The sauce, sweet, sticky, crave-able. 4.8 Stars. I didn't like the rice, and understand, I love rice. It was dry, and tasted like plain white rice. 2.7 Stars Service: The two servers we had were great. Very patient with us, and helpful in knowing what we should try. There was one in training, but he got everything right. Ambience: Gave the feeling of being upscale, without being too grandiose, but more low key. I enjoyed the dark mood lighting, and accents of red everywhere. The tables were cool, marbled with gold. Overall: Awesome!! I would come back here often, especially for a special occasion. P.S. Thank you SO SO much for reading through this whole lengthy review if you have made it here to this point. P.S.S. The takeout bags are so amazing and reusable! They have a cute design in them, and are great for keeping things warm. The containers are great too and have a whole for steam to be let out.
The atmosphere and vibes were spot on, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was a delight. Our waitress, Maya, took excellent care of us. She explained the menu thoroughly and recommended some fantastic dishes. Jon the chief came out to introduce himself, which was a delight! I love the personal touches. I particularly loved that it was a tapas-style menu, allowing us to try a bit of everything without feeling guilty for not finishing every dish. I would rate this place a solid 10/10. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning with my family, probably more than once a month.
Ordered some late night takeout and was so surprised by the nice takeout bag and container. The food was ready quickly and hit the spot. We'll definitely be back to try dining in soon!
I came to Miya Moon with a group of 10, and they were so accommodating and made our first experience there a night to remember. We called about 2 hours in advance to make a reservation, and they were able to save us a table no problem. They even called us back to make sure we made the reservation at the correct location since they have another location in Lone Tree. We really appreciated them double checking. But keep in mind this place is still fairly new, so I predict they'll only get busier with how amazing everything is at the moment. When we got to the restaurant, we were sat right away. They had us in a separate area, so it felt more intimate with our large party. If you're coming with a large group, I'd highly recommend Miya Moon whether it's for a birthday or any celebratory event. I guarantee they will take care of you. 20% tip is included in your bill for larger parties just FYI. They also have outdoor seating. The food was absolutely delicious. While you can order your own dishes, I think you'll get the most bang for your buck if you eat family style. We were able to order appetizers, multiple entrees, and even dessert to share for about $25 a person. And we had plenty of food for multiple of us to take home leftovers. Their togo containers were definitely a highlight of our visit. The containers are microwave and dishwasher safe and custom to Miya Moon, so you can reuse them. They also gave us insulated bags for the food which was a first for me. I know I'll be keeping both of those for a long time hopefully! I'm also not a huge fan of alcoholic drinks, but their espresso martini is something I would for sure order again. It was sweet and not too bitter which was a nice surprise for someone who doesn't usually like espresso martinis. The cauliflower and eggplant were stand outs for the night. Everyone loved the mango masago as well. My only real gripe is the wagyu fried rice, while yummy, is overpriced in my opinion. But most dishes are fairly priced. The staff were the real stars of the night. Not only were they patient with us especially when we took forever to decide our orders, but they brought out our food in a timely matter. They were so attentive, friendly, and were great at creating a rapport with everyone in the party. They truly made the experience at Miya Moon a 5 star event. But special shoutout to our head server, Kiel. She was stellar in every way possible! Every dollar spent was well worth it, and I cannot wait to come back with more friends and an even bigger appetite!
After watching the construction progress and spotting the “coming soon” signage, I eagerly anticipated the opening of Miya Moon. As a local, I love supporting neighborhood businesses, so I was excited to finally stop by for a weekday lunch. We were seated immediately in a cozy booth, a welcome respite from the cold weather. To warm up, we ordered a pot of jasmine green tea, which was both fragrant and soothing. The menus, made of paper and plastic, felt slightly out of place given the restaurant’s elegant ambiance, but perhaps more refined versions are still on the way. I began with the Egg Drop Soup, which was rich and flavorful, followed by the Chicken & Lettuce Cups—a light yet satisfying choice for lunch. Service was excellent—attentive and professional without being intrusive. The restaurant offers ample seating, including intimate, inviting nooks. Parking is plentiful with options right out front and to the side. On my next visit, I’d love to sit by the “moon” area and explore more of the dinner menu, especially the intriguing cocktail selections. I’m already looking forward to returning!
If you’re looking for great Chinese food in Denver, this spot is a gem! It’s a little outside downtown, but the area is super nice, and parking is a breeze. The place is beautiful inside, with awesome decor, big tables, and really comfy chairs. The service was on point—we had a reservation, and our table was ready the second we walked in, which is crazy rare in Denver (usually, even with a res, I end up waiting 15-20 min). The food was excellent, super flavorful and well-prepared. Prices are fair, nothing outrageous, and totally worth it. The place is not huge, so I’d definitely recommend reserving a table ahead of time. Overall, such a great experience! I’ll 100% be back.
The service here was stellar. We usually have our dinners out on a weekday which results in a little bit of a quieter day and while the restaurant was pretty slow we got nothing short of incredible service. They came and checked on our table multiple times throughout the night. the food was all cooked very well and came out warm AND i feel like the price for the food we received was incredible. We will definitely be back!
This place is great. The food is delicious. You get a nice Togo bowl to reuse and a reusable Togo bag and there Togo cups are awsome too. We will most definitely come back. The service is great aswell.
This PLACE was AMAZING! The food was all delicious. So good I had a hard time picking a favorite. But the potstickers chili wontons and the crab Rangoon definitely shine in flavor, presentation and all around melt in your mouth goodness. The salt and pepper asparagus was suggested by our waitress and is a can't miss. And the pork bun was divine. That's not including the beverages. I chose the galaxy cocktail and it was stellar (and pretty too). The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and upscale without being pretentious. The staff! Ong the staff! I got to meet the head chef (big honor if you know how much I love a good chef!) And our waitstaff was beyond amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I chose this spot on a whim based on an Instagram ad for my birthday dinner with my mom and sister and we will be coming back without a doubt. This place is a can't miss.
Five stars all the way!! A Culinary Gem in Broomfield - Miya Moon Delivers Perfection! Miya Moon in Broomfield is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional Asian cuisine in a stunning, contemporary setting. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed into a beautifully designed dining space with sleek, modern décor that perfectly balances elegance and comfort. The high-class bar is a standout, offering an impressive selection of top-tier spirits, including the renowned Yamazaki 12--an absolute treat for whisky lovers. We started with a selection of tapas, and every single dish was outstanding. The dry sautéed spicy cauliflower had the perfect crispy texture with just the right amount of heat, while the mala steak fries packed an addictive numbing spice that kept us reaching for more. They were served fresh, hot and crispy! The salt and pepper tempura asparagus was light, crispy, and bursting with flavor, while the eggplant in garlic sauce was rich, savory, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And the honey spare ribs--tender, sticky, and perfectly caramelized--were an absolute standout. For our entrées, we indulged in the Szechuan chicken, which was packed with bold, aromatic spices, and the sizzling black pepper filet, a true showstopper. Served with stir-fried vegetables over a bed of noodles, the filet was incredibly tender, infused with deep, peppery richness that made every bite unforgettable. To finish, the ube affogato ice cream dessert was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. The smooth, creamy ube ice cream paired with the espresso and coffee cookie for a great texture contrast, was both indulgent and refreshing--truly a must-try. Beyond the phenomenal food, the service at Miya Moon was top-notch. The staff was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a high-end yet welcoming dining experience. Five stars all the way! I will definitely be back.
Perfect!!! Everything was soooo good! From the moment we walked in until we walked out, it was impeccable. The ambience was luxurious and set the mood. Very clean !!! I had the orange chicken and spring rolls. Our waitress Hannah was very helpful. Definitely will be returning! Highlight to my partner and I valentines weekend.
Unparalleled. With 30 years of combined industry experience, in all of Colorado, we have yet to find ourselves anywhere near the quality of food and level of service comparable to this restaurant. Spence sparked a previously absent faith in Colorado culinary and fine dining. With his attention to detail and exquisite talent of mixology, Spence brought back such nostalgic memories, I remain wonderstruck through the very next day. The food was so incredible that I would not be surprised by a Michelin star or a move to Manhattan. I cannot recommend another restaurant in Colorado above Miya Moon.
This place was soo good! Everything we ordered was amazing, the place is beautiful and cozy and the service was great! Definitely coming back!
Cool place with lots of options. Wagyu fried rice could use more steak for the price ($28) or larger pieces of steak, but you get a nice plate full. Tea is great! I'll come back to try other things.
Service was great, ambience was great. And the food was fantastic. Had the pork buns, crab ragoon, honey glazed ribs, beef and broccoli and stir fried udon. It was all great. Fantastic find close to home.
Tried this restaurant during their "soft opening" and the food was delicious! If you enjoy tapas and Chinese food, give Miya Moon in Broomfield CO a try! My family and I enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere here!
Put this place at the top of your list - no joke. The tapas are all elevated takes with an up scale feel without the price. Entrees are more familiar but still next level. Drunken noodle is fantastic. The spare ribs, tempura asparagus, gyoza, scallops, edamame all amazing. We will be going back!
🔥 5 Stars – Wok This Way! 🔥 My boyfriend and I came here just thinking we’d grab dinner… and left absolutely floored. Let me tell you—the Drunken Noodles were life-changing. That wok char? Deep, smoky, and dramatic in all the right ways. We were literally silent mid-bite, just vibing in noodle bliss. We also tried the Chicken Peanut Curry (creamy and rich) and the Stir-Fried Udon with Shrimp & Beef (savory and loaded), but the Drunken Noodles were absolutely the main character. No competition. It’s on the pricier side, but honestly? Everything tasted super fresh, and the quality was worth every penny. Bonus points for their super cute takeout packaging—sleek containers and a reusable bag that looks lowkey designer. Like, why is their to-go setup giving more than half the boutiques out here? Oh—and there’s a life-size Wukong statue greeting you at the door. Didn’t get a photo, but it’s a vibe. Modern, upscale, not pretentious. Service was great, flavors unforgettable. This spot? Certified tastebud therapy. 🙌🍜🐒
Fantastic experience at Miya Moon! Excellent food, atmosphere and service! If you’re going, ask for Kari as your server! She is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to your every need! Highly recommend!
Just went here for our first time and loved it! Great food, great service, cool vibe, perfect playlist at the right volume - truly these things matter to me. And I had two amazing cocktails! We’ll me back very soon!
Ordered takeout and the food was amazing. The takeout containers are custom to miya moon and just shows the attention to detail they have. I will for sure be ordering takeout again and dining in soon!
Me and my boyfriend had a date night here and we didn’t expect much because of its location. When we got there, the atmosphere was absolutely amazing and slightly romantic. the hostess greeted us kindly. When we were sat, we were absolutely stunned by the decorations and our wonderful server Trinh helped us make some wonderful decisions on food as well as being super attentive and welcoming. Overall, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was out of this world. We will be coming back!
Unexpectedly dropped in on Valentine’s Day and didn't have a wait. Food was amazing! Best spicy edamame I’ve had anywhere. Services was great and the Bao was like fluffy heaven. We tried numerous appetizers and entrees and they were all outstanding.
Had a delicious lunch today for my mother in law’s birthday. She was pleasantly surprised by a very nice gift! The ambience was so pretty with cute Christmas decor, comfy chairs. The server was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious- I tend to lean towards the simpler classics and the cucumber salad, string beans, mapo tofu, and eggplant stir fry were all hits. Everything was just top notch and very reasonably priced for the quality.
We love MiyaMoon. We have been on the hunt for solid Chinese food in the area, and we found it in MiyaMoon. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the restaurant is gorgeous, and the service is out of this world. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the staff and their follow through to ensure your experience is fantastic. Can't wait to be back!
Was delighted to find this local spot this week as we had a quick dinner before my son's basketball game. The food was excellent, very flavorful, veggies were cooked just right and fresh. We ordered mocktails which were also fun and tasty. Service was quick and attentive and the atmosphere inside is nice. Very clean and almost a lounge vibe. I was even impressed with our take home - insulated bags and quality storage. We will most definitely be coming back here again. So glad we found this place!
Went here on a whim for lunch from Arvada and to be honest with everyone, anything you order on the menu is going to be fantastic. Fantastic Presentation, it’s what we wanted, quiet and peaceful. Our waitress/bartender Maya helped us out. Her customer service was on point, she knew the menu very well and even better the drinks.! Go with the orange sake. Maya will know! Thank you for making our first time experience fabulous and even more exciting for my Uncles 79th birthday. Thank you Maya and the whole team! We had the Brussels sprouts , edamame and the crab fried rice
Been wanting to stop by for a while and finally made the commitment and so glad we did. Hands down our new favorite Chinese/Asian food. Loved it so much we just went a second time 2 weeks later. The servers are amazing and you can tell they are led by good management and care. Drinks are stronger than expected, portions larger than expected, and quality you can tell is all freshly made. Ambiance and even togo containers for take out are above an beyond expectations. My only give is they don't have a larger resturant to seat more people. If you're in the mood for Asian and looking to be wowed, go here!
Meena made our experience at Mayan Moon Broomfield absolutely wonderful. The food was outstanding—served hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast—and every bite was delicious. She made us feel so welcomed and at home, which turned a great meal into a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back.
Everything was phenomenal, the atmosphere is top notch and the carryout packaging being reusable containers/ bag is awesome and super classy. The pork belly bao was the best I’ve ever had and the beef short rib was genuinely on par with my father-in-laws’ (a five star private chef from Hong Kong) The best option for Chinese food anywhere around; if you’re in the mood this is the place… but probably the only Chinese restaurant that comes to mind with such a cool atmosphere and ambiance that it easily becomes a romantic night out - all while enjoying hearty portions of classic Asian-American dishes superbly executed to elevate takeout to fine dining. Cannot recommend enough!
Wow what a lovely unexpected gem in Westminster. It’s in a shopping center but when you step inside, the vibe and decor is upscale and modern, bright and tasteful. From the servers in cute stylish Chinese tunics to the lovely china and super nice insulated takeout bags and reusable take out containers - this is a restaurant that really pays attention to detail. Reminds of a cute Hong Kong modern cafe. Definitely not your run of mill cheap Chinese takeout. The food is definitely a mix of Chinese, some Thai, sprinkle a little Vietnamese. We had cucumber salad, spicy wontons, the salt and pepper shrimp special, beef noodles and eggplant. The prices are very reasonable and portions generous. We’d come again for a nice but chill dinner out. So nice to have another nice dining option in a sea of mediocre chains here in Westminster. I didn’t feel out of place dressed nice casual. Service was attentive. Definitely would recommend.
Located in a strip mall, so plenty of parking available all around. Not too busy on a week night, we did not have nor need reservations this time. Service was fantastic. Our server Kiel was very friendly, helpful with recommendations, and attentive. Drinks - the golden lotus and old fashion were solid options. Food came out quickly and portions are good, albeit a bit on the pricier side. For tapas, I recommend the crab rangoons and potstickers. We also got the chili wontons and spring rolls, which were fine, but I would try other tapas next time. For entrees we got the sesame chicken and drunken noodles with beef. The sesame chicken was tasty, though the breading is different than what you would normally see, not spicy at all. I would skip the drunken noodles next time, not a ton of flavor there. As others have mentioned, the to-go containers and bag are beautiful and can definitely be reused, a very nice touch. Overall we had a great experience!
The place does pack a punch. I saw the place when I was there for a pickup. It’s not your average Chinese takeaway joint. The food was made with interest and in my brief interaction at the front desk, they made it all about my order. The food was excellent though I ate it warm but still was excellent. Absolutely recommend this place.
They called to make sure we were ordering from the desired location — Broomfield vs Lone Tree. Order was ready for pick up when we arrived. Their to-go/pick up bag is reusable! The food containers are reusable and dishwasher/microwave safe! The Rangoons and Lo mein were good. The orange chicken could’ve been crispier or fried longer but overall was decent. We think it’d be better if we dined in. Overall the experience was good and we plan on visiting again.
We’ve ordered delivery multiple times and dined in now twice. We love the food. Every dine in experience we’ve had there has been an issue with service. Last night a lot of tables were full and multiple people were looking for servers. I looked back and the servers were all chatting behind the bar for over 10 mins while everyone was just staring at them and they had zero clue everyone was looking at them. We waited over 15 mins for someone to come back..
We’ve dined in and also ordered take out from Miya Moon. The mala fries, strings beans, and salt n pepper shrimp were tasty! For my Taiwanese-American taste buds, though, a lot of the other dishes we ordered were too salty or overly soy sauce-d: the cucumber salad, basil chicken, mapo tofu… Service was good, and their take out containers are high quality. They even give you packaged utensils — chopsticks, soup spoon, and a napkin.
I ordered take out through Door Dash. I got the Chicken Peanut Curry, paid full price, and all the extra for delivery. They gave me a sides bowl that isn't even full. $17 for this? Plus delivery??? Not only is their food extremely inconsistent with different veggies and flavors every time, but there's absolutely no quality control in this restaurant. I'll have to find another peanut curry, because I'm tired of gambling on what kind of quality I'm going to receive from this place.
Service is great and FOH employees are nice, but probably one of the worst chinese food I've ever had. 1) Wrong Order - ordered crab fried rice w/curry, took forever to come out and they brought us brown veg fried rice with curry that we did not order. The server took care of it and comped on the house, which I understand, as long as it's taken care of, no big deal and I appreciate making adjustments. 2) Mapo Tofu - ordered mapo tofu, they put mapo tofu soup, look at all the soupy texture and amount of water in it, I am wondering if the chef forgot to add starch, so checked with server if this is how it normally comes, and she said yes. couldn't really taste anything besides grounded black pepper. no spice or taste at all. 3) Crab Fried Rice - ordered fried rice because it is a staple dish and there is no way fried rice can go wrong unless the restaurant is really bad and they messed up on this. Rice had no texture and was soggy and mushy - either cooked in low heat not using wok properly, or they did not defrost the crab properly, so water from frozen crab meats and veggies probably impacted rice with all the water making it impossible to eat. 4) Appetizers - ordered chili wonton & cucumber salad & honey glazed pork ribs - all the tapas came out together and were only decent foods out of everything we ordered, but we all know these appetizers can be prepped in advance or there are so many prepared frozen food service appetizers out there. Nice atmosphere & Vibe and employees were kind, so I wanted to like this place, but foods were just horrible. It is a shame cause I went to Mikaku ramen which is run by the same group a week ago and loved it, so I decided to give this place a shot, but it turned out to be horrible.
Everything looks nice and greeters were very friendly. I thought the food was prepaired poorly at best. Too much sugar and kitchen staff let food be delivered without quality control. Side dish was served refridgerator cold that should have been hot. Not for me again.
