Wow where to start!?…Buda/Kyle has been needing an amazing Go To Tacos and more restaurant! We have been eating here weekly since open. Taco Clem is very clean inside and out at all hours. The fresh dining area offers a cold and fresh Salsa/Pico de Gallo self serve bar!—Erika is amazing at what she does always greets and serves with a smile! Empecable Servicio…also from Janette, and Melissa as well! The quesadillas, Buda Taco. Brillia Tacos and Enchiladas burst in your mouth with true Sabor (flavor)!!…. We will continue to enjoy BFast, Lunch and Dinner with Erika and the CREW no doubt! Congratulations to Taco Clem and amazing Staff! #cheers #salud T. Christopher Faison

Me and my brother stopped by cuz he wanted to try it out I already had them before I just didn't leave a review yet I didn't think about it I should have but I'm glad I did now cuz I got some decent photos I think. This place is really good I think it's a hidden gym the food tastes awesome it's always hot and fresh and it's just everything and more that you would want from a taco place I think the prices are pretty reasonable I feel like maybe they could be better but if not then that's fine too. Everything was clean in the restaurant and everybody was very friendly. The food was on point and would definitely come back we'll come back and need to try breakfast tacos.

The staff were very nice. Very friendly and very helpful. They explained each of their favorite dishes and why theirs was better than other similar restaurants ha! I ordered the chicken fajitas that were served with rice, beans, guac & sour cream with flour tortillas. The enchiladas were good too. We ordered Mac & cheese for the kiddo that I’m pretty sure is just Kraft noodles.

Ok so far this place has been pretty good not gonna lie finally a good taco place in buda, the people at the window are pretty nice too. They recommended a sauce to us! But my favorite is the spicy green sauce it goes pretty hard also the food is served in good portions I feel like. I was a tad bit reserved coming into this place. A friend who had been to another one of their locations had a silly nickname for this place that rhymed with "Clem". I wanted to give them he benefit of the doubt. It took them forever to build out this location. It is in an awkward spot in Buda, behind the Starbucks, next to a car wash that has a draining issue with water. My kid and I decide to go in and order breakfast tacos. These are Jalisco style tacos. I liked the fact that the menu was simple and easy to navigate. The gentleman working the register quickly acknowledged us and mentioned he would be right with us. My kid ordered the Chris taco. I ordered the Buda taco. I did ask for a Diet Coke with no ice. As we waited for our food, the gentleman handed us the Diet Coke. I guess he missed the fact that we wanted no ice. We grabbed the bag and headed home. The Buda taco was huge. Flour tortillas were homemade. The carne guisada had nice size pieces of meat. It was very flavorful. The potatoes were also nicely cooked and the eggs were not dry. My only complaint was I thought the cheese was American and not Cheddar. I realize it is a cost thing, but the taco would have been way better. They did provide us with plenty of salsa. The red salsa was flavorful with the right amount of heat. I am a big fan of the green salsa. I am not going to nit pick them as they just opened. The prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic. This will definitely be a taco stop for us.

They have the best queso around, their flour tortillas are so fresh and amazing. Their chicken is good, but a little on the dry side. I wish they'd make the flautas with just chicken, instead of a sauce, but overall it's a great place to eat. The staff are friendly and the drive-thru is great!

The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and professional. I tried the nachos and quesadillas, both of which were delicious. Conveniently located in Buda, this place is definitely worth a visit. I made my order to go but saw people dining in. Moderately priced.

I’m a vegetarian. This review is for veg heads. If you eat meat this place may be great and you should read/consider other reviews instead. The menu doesn’t show vegetarian options and no info online anywhere, that I could find. That should have been an indicator not to go here…but this is Austin right? There must be at least 1 decent option. Turns out- nope! This place is NOT FOR VEG HEADS. *Perhaps if you go before the Noon cut off and get a breakfast taco, which I may still try to do*. But, after noon, veg heads do not waste your time or money. Also their website literally has 1 menu category and its sides. Come on now. My bf kindly picked up food for me here and asked them all the main questions- what do vegetarians and vegans get? Vegan tacos. Is there a meat substitute/fake meat? NO. Are the beans safe? NO, all 3 bean options are cooked in lard (why are we still doing this.. especially in/@ Austin? It’s actually incredibly EASY to make beans taste amazing without lard- 3 out of 4 Mexican restaurants in Texas are already proving that). Anyhow, they said their vegan tacos would have mushrooms, onions, spinach, and peppers in them. If it woulda been me I wouldn’t have ordered them bc 20 years vegetarian experience tells me when that is the ONLY veg option an employee of a Mexican restaurant offers it means they don’t actually have veg options. This is the equivalent of a burger joint offering a standard American burger, dry, with no meat. No one actually wants to eat that. Nicole P., the server, yup getting called out on this one.. didn’t even offer a quesadilla, or some kind of side item dips, or knowing their menu come up with a quick idea to make something remotely good= Nicole P doesn’t care to even kinda think about it and has no idea there are good foods that don’t include meat. Pssst- there are, I’d happily make you a taco so you can see, if you’re hungry hit me up. This is just expensive sub par schwag.. $10.87 for 2 vegan tacos.. each one is street taco sized/ 2 tortillas overfilled with hot green peppers, a ton of hot onions, a couple of hot mushroom slices, part of a tomato slice, maybe even a whole hot tomato slice broken up, literally a single leaf of wilted spinach (actually the best part). It’s not even well cooked.. not seasoned well.. really only tastes like oil. I took a bite to report to you guys but tossed the rest. Schwag. At least Nicole P was nice, by way of not at all being rude or mean. She did do her job and should suffer no consequences, (she just didn’t do anything other than exactly and only what is required.. which really is the standard these days). It was fast. The portion is a lot. Unfortunately it’s a lot of stuff that is just a topping. I gave environment 3 stars, a neutral rating imo, bc it was a drive through order. Taco Clem: -I didn’t wanna cook bc I’m getting a migraine but now I have to… and I paid an extra $11 for food I have at home and already paid for once. Not cool. -you can do so much better than this even with the ingredients yall do have all day, you could have left out 3/4 the onions and peppers and instead used that amount of spinach and mushrooms and this would be worlds better. Add a sauce and maybe some fresh lettuce and you actually have a budget/basic vegan taco we don’t hate paying $5 for. -I challenge you to ask all your employees if any of them ENJOY eating tortilla filled with oily hot onions n peppers… Yeah, exactly, neither does anyone else, especially people who center their diet around vegetables/plant based ingredients. -you could easily and massively increase sales and target a whole additional demographic (especially in the austin area) just by having 1 bean option not cooked in meat. Word travels fast with our kind.. watch how many views this review gets. -Or offer eggs all day

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and I finally gave it a chance but unfortunately, it was disappointing. Both tacos I ordered were completely cold. The tortillas were cold, the fillings were cold, and the potatoes were so undercooked they were still hard, like they were raw. For the price they charge, the quality just isn’t worth it. Very disappointed.

Ordered the chicken nachos and not what I expected. Nachos usually has melted cheese not a lump. Maybe I should have asked about the cheese or ordered something else.

8 BEAN & CHEESE tacos for me and the kiddos as small as my hand tacos for $32. It taste the same as Store bought tortillas and beans in a can.. honestly felt like a waste of money for garbage food. Such lies in the reviews. Better bang for your buck on bean and cheese tacos at Taco cabana. The sauce packets are weird. Just all around I don’t recommend this place personally. But if you like OVER priced mediocre food by all means go throw your money away like I just did. On the other hand the workers are really nice and I know it’s not their fault of the poor quality of food and pricing.

18, 20 and 24%?? Stop asking for high tips. Especially for drive thru pickups. If you want to be a full serve traditional style restaurant then go for it and change your business model. This place is nothing more than what Taco Cabana used to be 15-20 years ago. Do with that what you will.
