We’re from out of town and were looking for a good dinner at a nice restaurant. We definitely found it! Salvatore’s is not only beautiful but our food was delicious and our waiter and staff were excellent. If we come back here in the near future, we will return to Salvatore’s.

We just finished a spectacular Valentine's Day date and every aspect of the meal was wonderful! Patrick, our waiter, was incredible, attentive, and honestly probably one of the best we've ever had. My partner is notorious for forgetting his to-go containers, and he made sure to catch us before we left so they didn't get left behind! Worth every cent for the meal and experience.

It may have been a busy time; Christmas Season; but it did take longer than usual for our lunch to arrive. Glad we weren't on a tight schedule.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! The food was perfect. My spaghetti and meatballs a delicious mix of al dente pasta and slightly spicy meatballs. The cannoli the best I've had in 10 years. The only thing better than the food was the service. Our waiter was a seasoned pro. Thank you! p.s. The decor and Easter decorations were a surprising treat too.

This restaurant was 5 star for sure! Staff were knowledgeable and efficient and food was very good. I took my guy there for his 50th birthday present and it didn’t disappoint.

Went for Valentine's day and it was a great meal served at a perfectly slow pace to allow us smoke time to enjoy the evening. Food was all prepared exactly as would be expected at a fine dining restaurant. Our server Myke was very personable and attentive, a true professional. The decanter our wine was served in was the cherry on top of a great evening.

There's a guest to the banquet facility. A remembrance meal Post funeral, the service was outstanding. The food was delicious. Well it's delicious as a banquet could be. The banquet meal was for about 50 people and I would recommend it to others for small catering events.

The food was delicious. The specialty bread is a must try. Jeff was our server and was great.

They go over board for the Christmas Holidays 🎄. The place is simply beautiful for the young and for the old. I love going there.

This place is an excellent experience. I took my wife for her birthday and my 7&9 year old children. They do have a children's menu which we didn't see advertised anywhere before hand so we were happy to see that. They have excellent specials or daily deals like half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays or free entre on your birthday and also a military discount. All that being said, the food! From the charcuterie board and stuffed banana pepper appetizers to the filet mignon and the short rib sauce over gnocchi were all amazing. We finished it off with Banana Foster flambe table side and a chocolate chip cookie skillet with ice cream! The banana foster was an awesome show to watch but that cookie was so delicious it stole the show!

Food was amazing. The selection variety was very accommodating. They even had a kids food bar set up. Our server Justin was great. They initially tried to fit 14 people at one table but realized we were a tad uncomfortable. They set up a new table for the kids. The Santa brunch was an amazing experience for the kids. The ballon guy, ABSOLUTELY TALENTED. He was definitely the star of the show. He can make anything out of balloons.

Our wedding was magical! Even during such a difficult time in our world, Salvatore's was amazing to work with. They coordinated things easily for us, and the attention to detail was very much appreciated. We couldn't have imagined our wedding any more elegant than this. From the outdoor ceremony space, to the delicious food, the stunning decor, the friendly staff, and even our stay in the Delevan Hotel - our experience was perfect. We would highly recommend Salvatore's as a wedding venue.

This place is AMAZING!! My husband and I stay at the Garden Place Hotel and do dinner at Salvatores every year for our anniversary!! The staff is courteous, professional and tend to your every need, all with a smile!! The suites are incredible, I can't complain about anything- I LOVE THIS PLACE!! And their package deals are more than worth it!!

As a vegan, they were able to be flexible and creatively the chef was able to come up with several vegan options which I appreciated. I had a delicious pasta primavera which was excellent!!!! Even the server said “that looks fantastic”. We both agreed others would enjoy it as well. Good news is they are planning to add more vegan and gluten free options. Great experience all around. Live jazz music in the bar was amazing!!!

We had an outstanding dining experience starting with champagne and oysters, a five course meal with wine pairings, and after dinner cocktails. Through it all we had excellent service - it was a very special evening with friends and the staff took great care to ensure we had a perfect evening. Bravo! Eccellente!

FANTASTIC MEAL....Even Better Service. As a Chef, I am often over critical, I have not one complaint. We had an amazing time, and will definitely be returning.

Giovanni as well as all of the dinner staff showed us an awesome time. Dad and I split the tomahawk and mom got a lobster tail. The meat was very tender, nicely prepped by Adam! The Limoncello flute and cream puff are great for dessert. I recommend pairing with sambuca rocks for digestivi! To keep the celebration going, I recommend visiting either or both of Perla or the Chandelier Bar- the staff create a fun atmosphere throughout, and make great cocktails.

One of the best fine dining restaurants around. My husband and I had the best experience here. From the time we checked into our reservation to the time we paid the bill everything went so smoothly. The staff was so accommodating, respectful and service was perfect. The food was even better. Absolutely delicious in every way and really elevates your experience here. The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming too. Absolutely one of my favorite places to go for fine dining!

You have to get the risotto. If the world was coming to an end make time to try the shrimp and scallops risotto. The mocktail list has some fun flavors listed.

Went for New Year's Eve, had the filet and 12oz lobster tail, which came with appetizer, soup or salad and dessert. Food and service was amazing, we never waited for anything, not even water!! The restaurant, as always, was decorated beautifully for the holidays.

This restaurant was nothing short of amazing! The place is absolutely beautiful. The food was probably the best meal I've had in my life. The Cesar salad was INCREDIBLE and I still think about it lol. The sausage and wild mushroom pasta was amazing and so was the crme brulee. The drinks were also amazing. The only thing we didn't love was that we had a 630pm reservation and the restaurant was not that full at that time however they stuck us in this back room that wasn't nearly as pretty as the rest of the restaurant and we were celebrating our anniversary just the 2 of us and we got stuck right next to a 10 person birthday party with loud small children.

We enjoyed an amazing evening for a birthday dinner. The service and food was everything we could have desired and more. Thanks to Gio for his impeccable service for us. We enjoyed the 3 course meal, and bruschetta. All cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back again.

Omg, the food and service at this place were excellent! I had the spicy sweet calimari, an excellent salmon/ risotto dish, and the cheesecake. All were superb! My water glass was never empty, and my drinks were perfect.

FIRST OFF UPON ENTERING THE BUILDING YOU HIT WITH A NOSTALGIC SCENE OF THE GREAT GATSBY! From the time you pass the bar your greeted and given a time frame for your wait. Whilst waiting there is a ton of memorabilia to gaze upon and also purchase! When your sat at your table you immediately greeted by you water for beverages., The whole experience is so fluent! The food was awesome, the service was Hasty, and the drinks were thirst quenching. They are constantly sanitizing when guest leave., Very intimate setting bring your family or that special someone and the turnout will be magnificent! Thank you Salvatore's 😭😭

A grand entrance walking into a wow moment of impressive decor. The bar sits alone ready to host you without being too far behind. The book(Menu) drops with a thump! Every year of its anniversary, ear marks a chapter in its per cured longevity. The French is definitely spoken in a language that every English speaker can spoon smothering every slow sip in a pallet wash tightly glued to a brother-in-law broth. Prime time delicious, moist, tender and cooked to order perfect. Senior citizen or not, the dentures can chew through the test on this one. Five stars and well deserved!

We typically only go here for special occasions, but we've never been let down anytime we go. The food is always amazing, the waiters and bartenders are always fast and friendly. The inside decorations are WAY over the top; and I've come to love seeing them. You'll find something new every time you go here. The amount of curated items is absolutely wild. There is a set of chairs there that either they've refinished them three times, or they have three sets that are completely different from one another. You owe it to yourself to come here at least once, whether a celebration or just for a spectacular meal.

Me and my BF got three course dinners along with a few drinks. Everything was amazing! Our server and others were very friendly and on top of making sure our dinner was going well. The chicken marsala is to die for and the sliced prime rib was amazing. We got 3 mini desserts and they were all quite good. The atmosphere was very calm and beautiful. Thank you!

Top end, great food, best service you will find. $$$$ but it is a steak house. The bar has a less expensive happy hour menu - 4oz fillet and 4oz tail for $25.

This was our second visit to this establishment. We were very happy with our experience. GEO was our server and let me tell you he was awesome. Seriously a server can make or break your experience. He was outstanding. His recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed everything. Food was great, came out hot. We ordered dessert and it was delicious. The place is beautiful and very clean. Prices are okay considering the quality, service, setting and portions. We had steak, seafood and pasta everything was perfect. The spinach bread was hands down fantastic and could be a meal in itself! Double thumbs up even though tragically the Buffalo Bills lost to Denver this night😮‍💨 We will be back

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of spending Valentine’s evening here, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Russell went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect — the appetizers, cocktails, entrées, and dessert were all beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is elegant, refined, and ideal for a special occasion while still feeling genuinely welcoming. You can clearly see the level of care and pride behind what they do. Highly recommend, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We had the most incredible experience at Italian Prime at Salvatore’s for my cousin’s graduation dinner. Our servers, Giovanni and Jeff (apologies if the spelling is off!), were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond to accommodate our big family and made the entire evening feel special. They were so helpful in answering all our questions, keeping the table tidy, making great menu suggestions, and creating such a fun and welcoming atmosphere with their humor and personalities. The food was absolutely delicious, and the desserts were next level—especially the coconut pie! Everything from start to finish was perfect. The customer service truly made this a 10/10 experience. We’ll definitely be coming back—and we’ll be asking for Giovanni and Jeff again. Thank you both for making the night unforgettable!

We went for a birthday dinner and Mike was our waiter. My kid's haven't been taken to a "fancy" restaurant in many years. Mike was able to put them at ease with the menu and accommodate their requests and questions. I ordered the "Apple a Day" mule and it was delicious. The service was at an excellent pace which allowed us to eat each course and have time for conversation in between without being rushed or waiting too long. The other staff were attentive and always filling water or clearing plates. The Caesar salad with the prosciutto was enjoyed by everyone. Everyone enjoyed the main courses as well. This is not a typical place that my family dines at. We had a wonderful experience for a very special occasion. Well done!

I had the pleasure of dining at an Italian restaurant During my recent trip to Buffalo that truly exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich, savory sauces. The service was equally outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The restaurant's decor was unique and charming, with a cozy yet stylish atmosphere that added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a warm, welcoming dining experience.

The food is very good and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I swear I tasted traditional Caesar dressing with anchovy on the salad even though they claimed it was ranch. Someone else at our table noticed and stated the same thing I did. I didn't mind, although I'm not a seafood person I can appreciate a good Caesar dressing. Atmosphere is amazing. It's the most Beautiful, and extravagant restaurant in WNY. Nothing chintzy that's for sure. It's got many rooms and dining areas plus bars. I do like it there a lot. It isn't a cheaper place and that's perfectly acceptable because you get what you pay for and then some. Lighting is great also. Bathrooms, there are many and some are smaller than others and some are more decorated than others. Very nice. The servers were awesome and attentive. Yeah, this place is a Great choice, especially for a romantic evening or even a business dinner.

The entire experience could not have been more perfect. It was amazing! The staff was so kind, courteous and truely pleasant. The food was incredible and the prices were surprisingly good considering how impressive the food truely was. We went there for my birthday and I have to say I will probably go there every year for the value of the service they gave and the incredible food. To end the night, they brought us out 2 chocolate covered strawberries with a sparkler in one and I swear I cried from happiness; it was completely unexpected and a sweet surprise. They said it was their way of saying Happy Birthday and enjoy.

Delicious food with good service. Patio was very comfortable to sit under awning with beautiful lights and ceiling fans to enjoy dinner. Road noise was loud though. We always enjoy the prime rib and cheese cake or coconut cream pie for dessert. The 3 course meal is a very good choice. This is a wonderful place to have a relaxing adult dinner.

This restaurant, attached to the Delvan Hotel, is a Buffalo glimpse into Vegas...hard to describe the gaudy design, the chochkees, the bridal bouquets etc. I took pictures because only a photo can explain...lol The food was quite good. We sat out on the patio and it was a beautiful night with 50% all wine under $100 a bottle. We ordered a Billicart Salmon non vintage champagne that lists for $89 a bottle but paid $45...probably at or slightly less than retail. I ordered sea bass and my dining companion had Tuscan chicken. Both entrees were well prepared and delicious. The entrees had broccoli and rice or pptato...I felt like it was a reasonable price for the quality. IT is a bit old school...don't expect any new techniques like sous vide etc. but it is good basic steak chicken and seafood....

Went for our 15 year anniversary dinner. Giovanni was the best server a guest could ask for. He was attentive, friendly, and explained all meal options thoroughly. Excellent waiter. The food was incredible. We had the stuffed mushrooms, lobster bisque, lasagna and lobster ravioli. I can only say good things about it. Good portions, excellent flavors and HOT! My only request is that if there is an entire room of empty tables, leave some room between tables. I am not sure why most of the room was empty but the people who came in after us were sat at the table next to us. Our reservation was for 5 pm. Overall we would definitely go back. If the waiter wears a tuxedo, I can respect his job and his performance by dressing appropriately and being a dignified guest. It would be nice if all guests were as considerate.

Parking was terrible. I’m from Texas, so extra narrow parking seemed even more ridiculous. Besides that, it’s a great restaurant with lots of food options. Food tasted amazing!

Haven’t been in a long time, not for any other reason except I had kids and now they are grown:) Went during the Christmas holiday and it was decorated very nice for the holidays. Plenty of pic spots for you and your date or family. We had a bunch of Apps and an assortment of dinner entrees. I thought they were all very good with the spinach dip and the sausage, pepper dip my favorite. Our server was phenomenal, excellent service and never missed a beat. All in all a good meal and was happy to see them still putting out a great meal experience after all these years.

They did not have a table for one in the dining room so I sat at the bar. Promptly got a soda with lime, and a menu. Probably took about 5 minutes to look at the menu, decided, and waited nearly 15 minutes and finally asked for someone to take my order. They were pretty busy at the bar, however, at one point I watched a man with his mask below his nose carefully arrange and rearrange bottles on the corner of the bar preparation area. Never looked around to see if anybody needed any help. A regular nearby told me that he was the manager of the bar area. He was a little bit too far away for me to shout and make a spectacle. Should be five stars for the cost. $15 for a Vermont salad, which was quite good. Mixed greens, cranberries, candied pecans, very generous on both, sparsely garnished with shredded gorgonzola, nice light dressing. $15 for lobster bisque. It was probably about one cup, it was in one of those crooked looking bowls, and it sure didn't look like much sitting in there. It arrived lukewarm, almost cool. However it was delicious, and there were very generous chunks of delicious lobster. I was only half done with my salad, the bartender said my prime rib was ready, did I want him to keep it warm. I said yes please keep it warm. It did not arrive warm. $29 for 8 oz prime rib, medium rare came kind of lukewarm cool. The broccolini on the top was practically raw. I have had prime rib that is absolutely luscious melt in your mouth, and definitely warm. This was just ok. It came with a nice horseradish sauce. There was a lot of fat on it and the edges were quite tough. At one point I asked for another soda with lime and did not get one. So I asked again, and this time a tall one. I did not receive it. I had to ask again. The server was pleasant enough, but it looked as though everybody was getting tag teamed, there wasn't any one person that was specifically taking care of me. The total bill came to $64. I had a $50 gift card, so my balance was $14, but of course I left a tip of $12, roughly 20%. So the meal technically cost me $26. Frankly, I should have complained to management, and should have left a smaller tip. I just wasn't in the mood to complain or haggle. I had had a long day. The place is really spectacular, lavishly decorated, and that is putting it mildly. I feel as though they should maybe take some of that money and hire a few more people for the bar, and get some kind of a system that can keep a prime rib warm. And also make sure that soups come warm. They make a fanfare of giving you a placemat with silverware. I was there a few months ago in the dining room, and it was quite the show for the waitress to pour coffee from about 4 ft up. Oddly, the coffee wasn't that good. And, the food was not spectacular either. A couple sitting next to me asked me how I liked my meal, because they were considering ordering what I had. So I gave them the lowdown. Honestly, I'm moving cross country soon. But if I wasn't, I honestly don't think that I would bother to come back. Fanfare is fine, but warm food is warm food.

This place is huge and very pretty. The chandelier are very grand and the decoration were very nice, except the flowers are fake. The ladies bathroom was very clean, and everything was very automatic, you didn't have to touch anything to flush the toilet and wash your hands. The mirrors hung around the building are all very nice. The food wasn't bad either,I enjoyed the bread and butter, specially the butter-I like it a little salty, it gives the bread flavor.Overall,a very nice experience.

Birthday dinner for 10. Enjoyed the overdone holiday decor. Seated promptly at reservation time and received impeccable service throughout. All food was quite good, but nothing especially unique or ground breaking. Several folks had the prime rib, which was really excellent. Special occasion prices .

Salvatore’s is an experience! From their extensive collections displayed around the establishment to the tuxedo clad servers, it’s determined to impress their guests. They decorate for each season, and they have a lovely gift shop offering many unique items. We went to enjoy their current Friday night steak special. Our server Laurie, who brings her 31 years’ of exceptional service to each table she’s assigned to, elevated our evening meal to a top notch level! The French Onion soup was delicious, as was the sausage bread. The steak plate special was good. The steak was tender, although the sauce was very salty. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were good. Cocktails looked delicious. Definitely a lovely place to experience! Reservations highly recommended. Suggest you follow them on Facebook to learn of their assorted specials including their Happy Hour offerings at their bar. Once you arrive at the establishment, you’ll see a lot more if you enter at the back of the building where there’s plenty of free parking, and ladies, check out the Barbie collection in the ladies washroom!!!

So this is a late post since i was there for my bday in July. We loved the atmosphere, the service and most of the food. I am pregnant so I had none alcoholic beverages and it was delicious! All the good was exceptional except for the king crab....which is unfortunate because i was looking forward to it all week. The king crab was very very salty and just a bit over cooked. Othersise it was the perfect night, i would totally back.

Everything was very good. There was an oyster bar there. The frequent overwhelming putrid smell of strong fish took away from the dining experience for both of us though. Akin to someone not washing their underwear. I was also disappointed to not see the statues I used to see. It was a beautiful, expensive experience.

M
Monica Macaluso

We made reservations for 6:30 but they didn’t seat us until 7:00 and blamed it on the battery on the pager, even though we had an elderly guest with us. Never heard from our waiter what the specials were, although tables nearby seemed to get that level of service. Sides we ordered as extras came slowly, as did the drinks. Very poor service from Nick, our waiter, and we had to seek assistance from the busboy several times. Salty entrees. A lot of glitz without the service and cuisine to back it up. Our extended family has enjoyed this special scene for many years but it’s hard to believe it’s all worth it!

L
Lisa Deplato

Realizing it’s NYE and would be very busy. But we didn’t get seated until about hour after our reservation. Then sat at our table for at least 15 mins before we received water. Then did not see a server for about another 25-30 minutes. Our original server was very overwhelmed and appeared to be new. I blame management not servers for how things were handled this night. New server approached us finally and she was great. Dinner was overall good. But cheesecake was terrible and looked liked it was frozen dessert. I have been going to Salvatore’s for years. I even had my wedding there. But quality definitely has changed.

It was okay. Lobster Ravioli was undercooked. The server was good, but VERY nervous.

We had our Christmas dinner here tonight and the decorations were amazing and the kids loved seeing Santa. But the food was not so great. My steak and potatoes were dry. The salad and Lobster Bisque soup was good. Waitress tonight was a little slow but we understand with how busy it was. I ordered cheesecake and it was not that great. But the chocolate cover strawberries were delicious as my kids loved those. I just dont think the food was all around that great for the price they are asking for.

Dave Doherty

The place decorated for Christmas looked great, however the service was really slow. The food was just okay... Also, two of us ordered Glenlivet scotch which was on the menu for $12 and we ordered it on the rocks... When the bill came we were charged $34 per drink! The waitress said when you order it on the rocks they make it a double which was not indicated on the menu at all and then she also mistakenly charged us for the higher level. Glen leavitt so instead of $24 for two drinks it was 68. She corrected the mistake but still charged us for a double so it ended up being $24 per drink instead of $12 per drink. And to be fair it looked like a double that we got but we just thought it was a good pour

We enjoyed the food. It was tasty and the portions were reasonable. The lobster bisque was mild and flavorful. The restaurant is modern and attractively decorated. At table, the server for bread and refilling drinks was prompt and friendly. However, the main server lost interest in our table about halfway through the meal. As a result, the overall meal was underwhelming.

I have always loved Salvatore’s. It’s my go to for a fancy memorable meal. Unfortunately my meal tonight did not live up to my expectations. I hade the filet mignon and lobster tail. The lobster came out completely burnt. I tried to eat a piece and it was like leather. I don’t think I’ve ever returned a meal in my life, but there was no way that I could eat this piece of lobster. They quickly replaced it and made it right with an excellent piece but it did put a damper on my night. I couldn’t believe that they would actually serve something that was so burnt. How could the chef let that go out and the waiter bring it to a table? It seems to me after tonight’s the restaurant is not up to the standards that it was in the past.

Had a 40 people banquet on this date. Good news is the wait staff were attentive, accommodating, and seamless in their service. The bad news is the food was totally devoid of any taste. Prime rib really had no flavor, potatos were bland, and the chicken entree had more panko than chicken. The dessert tasted like it was in the refrigerator for a while. It was very disappointing considering the restaurant's reputation.

I have been to Salvatore’s multiple times and food and atmosphere was always terrific. However today was my 28th wedding Anniversary. My husband and I received a gift card from my son just 2 months ago. We somehow misplaced the gift card. My son had his receipt for it. I called a day prior and talked to receptionist and she asked her mgr and said it would be fine. We made a reservation and we were all dressed up. We spoke with front desk clerk, who spoke with manager and said they couldn’t accept our receipt. She said they needed barcode from gift card. If I had that the gift card would not have been lost. We were so upset when nothing could be done we just left. With an establishment such as this they should have record of gift cards and if they were used or not.

Went to the Easter buffet. Was put at a table that was cafeteria style. I requested a different table, was denied. Table was not level-rocked back and forth. My water glass had red lipstick on it. My server was very good. Buffet had a good variety, but sausage and chicken were dry. Will not be returning anytime soon.

While the place looks stunning all decorated for the holidays, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered a cocktail for $18 ]and it came in a glass that was 80% ice. There was very little cocktail and I could not taste any tequila in the drink. My wife ordered the lamb as did my friend. They were both cooked OK but the meat was very tough for both of them. I don't think it was a random bad piece. My other friend ordered the strip steak and that too was quite tough. I had the chicken picata and while the taste was good, there was very little sauce and the piece of chicken was very small. The desserts too were unremarkable which was disappointing considering how expensive they were. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. My parents had been coming here for years, and the quality has definitely gone down. I should note that the wait staff was very attentive and did a great job. In my opinion though the experience did not justify the rather extreme cost. They are one of the most expensive restaurants in the area. The kitchen should act like it. We will probably not be back.

I was here with my mother and our family for mothers day. We were said, since we are such a large party. We were told we could be at seperate tables in the main room, or one large table in a seperate room. When we arrived, we found out we were seating in seperate tables in the seperate room instead of one large room. Very disappointed in the service. However the waitstaff were very prompt and professional

Oddly separated dining areas. Curtains are used as partitions. We felt like we were in a closet. Each section was playing different music and you could hear them colliding. Appetizers and entrees severely overpriced. Years ago I came to this restaurant and the food was about flavor. Butter and rosemary! This time it was charred and satly. Our stuffed peppers, we're seventeen dollars for 2 stuffed peppers. They came with these little round breads that were so hard to bite. It's almost like they were styrofoam, but harder. Then, our entree came, our entree of steak. We weren't finished with our appetizer yet. The waiter asked if he would like us to keep our meals under the heat lamp. I said no thinking that the bread for the appetizer faced the same demise. Included with our entree was asparagus, probably about five small spears wrapped in a piece of bacon. The steak rested on top of a potato pancake that was barely warm to the touch and just mushy. On top of the steak was a huge handful of canned fried onions. I'm not sure if this was just for decoration or for taste purposes. But they were terrible and only added to the saltiness of the dish. The steak was charred and overdone. Tiniest glass of Sprite and a glass of water. our bill was two hundred and ten dollars with tip. We will never come back to this establishment. Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse is a far better price and quality. And they keep your drink filled!

I want to start by saying the appetizers were good. We had the coconut shrimp and salad. I had the filet mignon from the specials menu. It was prepared properly and flavorful. However, my date had the 12 oz strip steak and it was extremely disappointing. The temperature was correct but the meat was low quality, flavorless and looked like it came from chain restaurant. The bill was close to $300 and honestly they did not deliver on service or quality. They also had a private event going on with live saxophone player, and while I love the saxophone it was very loud. I could not hear my date right next to me most of the time. This place is definitely not what it used to be I would not return or recommend.

Went there for Valentines dinner, had an 8:15 reservation, got seated at 8:30, waiter was Evan, he was great. However, our entree order didn't arrive until 10:30. Evan was apologetic for the very long wait. I requested he comp me the $26.00 Old Fashioned cocktail I had, he agreed and did so. The food was okay, not great, considering the bill for 2 minus the cocktail was still $230.00. All considered, I will not return or recommend.

I went to Italian Prime at Salvatore's to celebrate my 20th birthday with my family. The experience was not what we expected. Having eaten at Russell's, i expected a higher quality of food then what we received. Our waiter was attentive and fantastic, along with the other wait staff. The atmosphere was nice, but i was surprised that while half of the room was dressed up for a night out, the other was wearing crocs and shorts into a fine dining restaurant. My family ordered 3 entrees, and 1 appetizer. The lamb I ordered was good, but subpar. The outer crust was burned and the meat inside was lukewarm at best. The prime rib we ordered was also lukewarm, and subpar according to my mother. My father ordered the Steak and gorgonzola pasta, which ended up making him sick 4 hours after eating. This restaurant has the atmosphere and the charm, but it seems to have forgotten the core of what makes a good restaurant, which is high quality food.

This week 5 girlfriends and I had our “Christmas Gala” dinner at Salvatore’s. We meet every other month and enjoy dinner at different restaurants. We picked Salvatore’s to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. The restaurant was beautifully decorated! Very festive! A+ for atmosphere! There were 6 of us sitting at a round table for 10. It was impossible to hear the girls on the other side of the table. Our waiter was very nice, but service was beyond slow. I like a nice slow dinner, but this dinner lasted 3 1/2 hours. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it. HOWEVER, THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE. Salvatore’s has been around for ever and used to be an Italian restaurant. Not anymore. I ordered the “100 layer lasagna” and it was pitiful. I could not even eat it. I brought it home and my husband said it was “cafeteria style”. Calling it “100 layers” is ridiculous. It was basically lasagna noodles with sauce and tons of Parmesan cheese…could not even taste any ricotta. Could not detect ANY layers. Don’t order this. I also ordered the chop salad which was just as poorly prepared. Watery. Topped with French’s Fried Onions which was the best part. Also. Everytime I’ve ordered a chop salad, I’ve been presented with a large salad…not this time! All of it was overpriced. In summary..:beautiful decorations and terrible food. Please take “Italian” off of your title.

So disappointed in the Easter brunch and dinner buffet. For $70/person I expected something special. The food was just average without a ton of variety, we paid extra for coffee and soft drinks, and there was no dessert buffet. A plate of barely edible desserts was set in the center of the table, with only 2 of each type for a table of 6. Asked for more of certain ones and they didn’t bring them. We stopped on our way home to pick up dessert.

Me and my husband, were there on Friday June 13th 2025, for our 1st anniversary, we both ordered surf and turf and our waiter Harry brought us both a prime rib dinner and when we asked where our lobster tail was he chuckled and said for and up charge I can bring you a 5oz tail .So with this experience we will NOT be returning there cause we can get a prime rib just as good but anyplace else much cheaper. Thanks Very unsatisfied customer

$175 bill for rigatoni that was not nearly cooked to al dente, garlic bread with cheese that was nothing more than a COSTANZA SUB ROLL with butter, garlic powder, and light cheese for $14!!!!! Very very disappointed and have absolutely no desire to EVER return. Nice ambiance. Staff were welcoming with amazing etiquette. Best part of the experience was them and how well preserved they appeared.

My wife and I came to Salvatore’s for dinner because we needed a night out, and thought we’d treat ourselves to what we thought would be a fancy dinner. Nope. Long story short, it was a nightmare and I was so disappointed. We had called an hour in advance to make a reservation. When we had arrived, both Russel (the actual owner) and a hostess were standing at the hostess stand. I told them that we had a reservation, gave them the name and number that we had left, and they said, “Yeah, we don’t have you in.” And then gave us a buzzer and told us to wait 20 minutes and shoo’d us away promptly. We were frustrated already. We waited 45 minutes before the buzzer went off, and we were seated. My wife and I sit next to each other instead of across from each other at the table. A waiter came to us and literally said, “You can’t sit side by side, as the owner comes by to make sure everyone is seated properly.” And we said “what? We can’t sit next to each other?” And he said, “I’ll just go talk to him to warn him”. We were surprised. Anyway, we ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and we did not like it. We kindly informed the waiter after each having a piece that we weren’t a fan, and he said, “oh.” And then walked away. Didn’t remove it from the bill, didn’t apologize. We ate our crappy dinner that resembled pre frozen Walmart ready meals, paid our ridiculously expensive check, and left promptly. There was no professionalism, and you do NOT get what you pay for. The cost would’ve been justified if the food or service was fitting. Even Russel himself was short and rude. Disgrace on the owner and the undertrained staff. Their suits don’t make them any more professional.

We couldn't get seats, and when we did, service was so slow we almost left after 30 minutes . I understand they were extremely busy due to the big game, however they should have been prepared to serve more guests.

Absolutely AWFUL customer service and experience overall. I used coat check at this hotel and received a tag with a number for an expensive jacket at an event. Salvatores lost my jacket, and then told me that I needed to personally call the members of the party to see if someone had taken it home. I did just that, and no one had any idea what I was referring to. Josette Salvatore admitted the staff member gave it to someone at the end of the night, then refused ANY sort of reimbursement for giving away MY property. Josette was extremely rude to me attempting to inquire where it could have went and what was the next step. When I went there in person to collect my jacket, they gave me a RANDOM coat and again did not follow any sort of procedure for coat checks. I could have walked away with another woman's jacket, which is likely how we got into this mess to begin with. They don't care about their customer's and refuse to take any accountability for a costly error that was entirely their fault. Will never be coming back here.

I wish I can give 0 stars review! I do not recommend eating at Italian Prime. This by far is the worst experience I've had at a so called "fine restaurant ". Food is way to pricey and not even that tasty or good. I made a reservation 3 weeks ago to celebrate Valentines day with my partner. We arrived 8 minutes before our reservation for 7:45pm. We waited over an hour to get just an appetizer that was not really that great. One of the forks in the table was very dirty, still had left over food stick to it. When they brought my Vermont Salad, it was dry, it barely had any dressing and it included a PLASTIC PIECE 🤮. I return it and received a new plate. At this point I am getting irritated, mind you it's already 9:30 pm and the Entree haven't arrived. When the food finally arrives 2 hours later, the steak I ordered was suppose to be medium well. I received a bloody rare steak. Of course I return it, but at this point I am very frustrated, hungry and mad. The server return it to the kitchen and brings back a well done steak inside a to go bowl. Something I definitely did not ask for. I was supposed to have a great experience and I definitely did not have it. And that is my fault, for having high expectations for a place that has so many bad reviews. And I also overheard a couple next to us that they didn't like their food either. They didn't even eat it.

My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday. After ordering drinks, we were told the $50 off for a birthday does not apply on Saturdays! Guessing that's the day most people go there! The waiter said the boss won't budge on that policy. I asked him if he has had to have that conversation with any other customers...he said ..All the time!! I told him they might want to get the word out! Food was sub par and expensive! Carrabbas is much better! Won't go here again!

I was shocked at how bad the food was! I usually go to Russells, but was invited to a birthday party here. I had not been in Salvatore's for many years, but figured it wouldn't have changed that much. Well, IT DID! The service was just ok , the atmosphere was ok, But the food was just mediocre, at best. The coconut shrimp as way overcooked, the lobster bisque was luke warm and bland, the prime rib was tough, the potatoes were lumpy, and the asparagus was tasteless. Others at the table sent back there meals for similar reasons. It was kind of comical that the waiter went on and on about how each item was prepared with all these unique ingredients and then have the actual dish be of such poor quality. The one good item was the cannoli I had for dessert. I will never come here again. Good news is the guy that originally opened this restaurant is just down the street with really GREAT FOOD! THANK YOU RUSS!

Nobody wants blue cheese or gorgonzola on a $60 steak. If you can’t cook a decent steak just say that. Shouldn’t need anything except salt and pepper. Only order from here because you’re on Uber Eats but the food quality sucks.

The restaurant is beautiful because it is located inside a hotel and reservations can be made in Resy. However I do not recommend this place. 1. We arrived at 7:11pm for our 7:15pm reservation and was seated after 5 minutes of arrival. We then ordered our food after 20 minutes. At the point we would just be waiting. To our long wait, the food didn’t come out until after 9PM. So we waited over 1.5 hrs for the food. 2. Food was average for how expensive everything was. My risotto was salty, even the tomatoes were salty. I will not come back.

From the moment we sat down, the service felt disorganized and slow. Our waiter warned us right away that drinks would “take a while,” which turned out to mean about thirty minutes for a single glass of wine. When we asked about specials, he casually advised us to avoid the Wagyu steak because they were “having problems with that,” which is not something you ever want to hear at a place charging premium prices. Salads took forever to arrive, and when they did, they were wrong. Then sort of right. Then wrong again. At one point, the waiter showed up carrying what looked like every salad on the menu because he clearly had no idea what we ordered. Eventually, everyone ended up eating a Caesar salad whether they wanted one or not, simply because we had been sitting there so long. Then the entrees came out, and everything completely fell apart. I ordered the pork chop and requested "medium" because I didn't want it overcooked or dry. What arrived was so severely overcooked that I could barely get a steak knife through it. It was tough, dry, and inedible. My daughter’s chicken Parmesan was buried under about a quarter inch of Parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella. At first, this just seemed excessive. Then I realized they were trying to hide the burnt chicken. My wife asked me to taste her shrimp and scallop risotto, not because it was good, but because it was shockingly undercooked. The risotto was crunchy. Not al dente. Crunchy like Corn Nuts. My sons were eating the osso buco over risotto, and they claimed there's very crunchy too. Their osso buco had its own issues. It was smothered in peppers and onions, something I’ve never seen in any traditional recipe. Even better, for the price they charge, they served a fore shank instead of a hind shank, which means a significantly smaller and cheaper cut of meat. My son’s prime rib arrived swimming in a ridiculous amount of au jus. As he tried to cut into it, the au jus was sloshing around the plate like soup. The mashed potatoes on his plate were served with an ice cream scoop, like you'd expect to see from a school cafeteria, hospital, or prison. They were also so dry that when he tried to eat them, they crumbled apart like a cookie. When I asked my wife how her shrimp and scallops were, she said they were so oversalted she could barely swallow them. There were six people at our table. Only one person actually ate their entree. While all this was happening, I couldn’t help but notice other tables also sending food back and complaining. So no, this wasn’t just us. To be fair, a manager did eventually come over and asked if there was anything she could do, offering to bring a dessert menu. At that point, I declined. I had zero interest in giving them another opportunity to mess up food after they had already demonstrated how low their standards are. After that, the waiter returned, clearly annoyed that we complained. He dropped the check on the table without saying a word. No apology. No thank you. Nothing. When I put my credit card down, he took it, brought it back, and again said nothing. Easily one of the worst server experiences I’ve ever had. One final detail that sums up the night perfectly. When they refilled water, instead of walking around the table and properly filling glasses, they reached across people. At one point, they missed the glass entirely and soaked my son’s place setting. Ice and water all over the table. Sloppy, lazy, careless. This is sad because the restaurant is a third generation family business with a reputation for excellence. It's unfortunate how far the apple falls from the tree because Joe Salvatore obviously doesn't care about food quality, service, or the customer experience the way his father or grandfather did. It’s a complete disaster from top to bottom. I wasn’t expecting a five star, world class meal. I was hoping for something decent and this wasn’t even close. I will never go back.
