Very cozy place to eat, love the fact you can get any food at any time. Meaning you can get breakfast at dinner or dinner at lunch etc etc. There's usually no wait or a very short wait. The staff is always really kind to us, most places aren't nice to you when you bring a baby in but this place is really nice to us when we bring the baby. I wish I could remember the lady's name, she waited on us the last few times we were there. Absolutely pleasant lady with a smile that is so friendly and warm. She is also very attentive to her tables, always moving moving moving. When I catch her name I'll edit this to give her the credit she deserves for being absolutely wonderful!

On this particular day, families gathered for a lunchen to celebrate my granddaughter's graduation from college. Everyone was very well pleased with the restaurant staff, food and service The menu had a variety of food options. There was a kids menu for the little ones. Good athmephier, family oriented, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast any time. Prices are reasonable. Handicap parking, accessible entrance, and seating as well. I recommend stopping at this establishment when you are in the area.👍

I enjoyed this beautiful salad last week when I visited New York for the Western New York Clogging Workshops. The Sheridan is one of the cleanest restaurants I have recently visited. I would go there again the next time I am in town.

Came early before having to work. The place is very quaint and quiet (8:30am). As I sit here still I leave a review of how fast this place is. The western omelette.... HUGE! The portions are so big I have to take half with me. The staff were very friendly. I recommend if you're ever in town to check it out. I don't live here and I would come again if I ever need to come back.

Took my girlfriend and her father here for brunch and had an amazing time! The food was absolutely delicious and the server was very attentive. I had the Philly steak omlete and the portion was massive! Great food for a great price. Definitely recommend getting the onions in the home fries as well.

When I am in town, I always enjoy a good meal at Sheridan Family restaurant. I always feel welcome when I come. The food is fresh and delicious with generous portions. I have been there for both breakfast and dinner. Prices are reasonable as well. They have breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, and dinner meals with so much more. Definitely recommend.

The food is fantastic. I had a chicken souvlaki breakfast and it was delicious. The chicken was very tasty and tender. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were seasoned beautifully. Charla, our server was very friendly and efficient. It is worth the drive from the city.

The family came in last minute and needed a table for 16 people. Within minutes they had tables set up for all of us. The service was amazing Good job to the cooks in the back the food came out piping hot fresh and our waitress did not miss a beat with all the condiments and drinks. Great job!! I recently tried this spot and had a bit of a mixed experience, but overall it was still very solid 😊 The French toast didn’t completely wow me — I’ve definitely had better elsewhere — but it wasn’t bad either, just not my personal favorite 🍞 That said, the rest of the food really made up for it! The omelettes were cooked perfectly, fluffy and packed with flavor 🍳👌 The corned beef hash was especially impressive — crispy, savory, and super satisfying. And if you’re stopping in for lunch, you won’t be disappointed. The pizza logs, chicken tenders, and fries were just as good as anywhere else around town — maybe even better! 🍕🍗🍟 Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Another big plus is the pricing 💵 The portions are generous and the quality you get for the cost is absolutely worth it. The special was cinnamon french toast which was smothered in icing and cinnamon, made it very sweet. Ordered the philly steak omelette which was great. I'm just not a fan of their style of hash browns. I prefer mine crisper vs potato mush. Overall a lot of food, service was great. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Decently priced. This was my first visit here. Walked across the street while my vehicle was getting service done at Northtown Subaru. The restaurant was clean, I was greeted with a warm smile, and even though they were quite busy- I was sat quickly. The staff was friendly, food was great, and the prices weren't bad at all. I'm gluten free so I had to as a few questions but I was able to have a wonderful bowl of pea soup and this HUGE platter of stir fry! The chicken was good but the steak ... OUT of this world good! There were even mini corns in the stir fry! I will definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

The service is fantastic!! This restaurant has all the traditional favorites of a family style menu, but it is the service that makes my husband and I keep coming there. If if it is a very busy time, they find a way to get you quickly seated at a table or booth you like. The servers treat you like family and couldn't be any more considerate of your wishes.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast prior to a doctor's visit at excelsior, which is right next door but has no access to their parking area. Good food, pleasant surroundings, waitress and hostess very friendly. It was not busy at 10 a.m food was sufficient and tasty. Moderate pricing for their varied menu.

We stopped in with a large party of 8 on a very busy Sunday morning after church. A table was available shortly after we waited after they pushed 3 together. This was our first time eating at the restaurant. The menu was huge with a wonderful variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections plus many side choices. Our waitresses was busy as she had tables and booths in all corners of the dining room. Drinks arrived and our orders were taken. We waited quite awhile but we could tell the restaurant was crowded and the kitchen we're sure was busy preparing the orders as they came in. One of our party ordered a sandwich and an order of French fries which didn't come when the sandwich arrived. Those who ordered breakfast entrees waited at least five minutes after the sandwich orders came out. One of our party ordered a dinner entree and that came out 10 minutes after the sandwiches. Again, the place was packed. The fries finally arrived shortly afterwards. Kind of weird that the orders came out like they did. Otherwise, everything was ok. The food was good. Our waitress did as best as she could. Hopfully if we come back, the place won't be as crowded and we can enjoy eating our meals together!

Food reasonably priced and tasty. It's a Greek Restaurant so they have Souvlaki & other Greek favorites. They also have a good variety of American food from Breakfasts, Lunch and dinners... including good portion of fish fry on Fridays with beer battered, Cajun and other seasoned broiled fish flavors. Our waiter was excellent. We had 12 people and we all got our food at the same time. He kept our beverages filled and had a friendly disposition and was really seemed to enjoy his job. What a pleasure. The atmosphere was scored lower simply because the restaurant was very busy and noisy with all the customers.

Place is neat and clean. It reminds me of the diners I would go to back in the late seventies and early eighties. Very simple layout and quiet atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. We both had omelettes that came with toast and home fries, which were real cut up potatoes. Waitress was very friendly, and kept our coffee topped off and hot. I would recommend this place to others.

Our waitress was wonderful, taking time to listen and ask questions about us and our orders, despite helping the other waitress with a group of twenty. . She even gave us an extra dessert because "you guys were fun". The food is always good with generous portions and decent coffee.

I called my order in at 12:03 (open beef, Mediterranean melt, baklava). I was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I went in at 12:25 and they were pretty busy. I waited in line for a little more than 5 minutes before someone asked to help me. I gave them my name and was told my order wasn't ready, it would be another 10 minutes. I went out to my car and waited 15 minutes before going back in. When I got in, I asked if my order was ready, it was not. Eventually I got my order and asked if the baklava was in there... it wasn't. At 1:00 I walked out with my order. I got home at 1:10 and discovered there was no dressing for the salad and the melt was cold. This was unusual for this place. My wife and I order out from here frequently and have never had a problem. We understand they were very busy and short staffed. It's quite frustrating waiting for an hour to get a food order only to find it is incomplete and less than expected. Again, normally we don't have any problems here.

This place is a good breakfast spot with great food. It's cozy there. Our service was good but they tried rushing us out. The waiter put our check on the table before we were halfway through our food without asking us if we needed anything else. Other than that it wasn't a bad place to eat.

Great family style restaurant! The service is always good, the atmosphere is casual, and the prices and food are great. The portions are enough for 3 meals. My favorites: Italian omelet, Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and the Mediterranean Salad with Chicken. Delish!

The restaurant was clean, dated but nice enough. We sat down right away. It took a little while for our server to come and take our order. After placing our order, we both ordered eggs, home fries, one bacon, one toast. We both asked for our eggs well done; I also asked for well done bacon, my husband, well done toast. They do not offer gluten-free toast 😕 it took a long time to get our food but when it came out it was cooked exactly how we ordered it. It was very good, sometimes in diners when ordering home fries they come out gray and greasy, NOT these home fries, they were really good. All in all it was a good breakfast. And the restrooms were very clean!

Went for lunch 11/22, table of 3. Food took 30 min to arrive after 10 min wait to order. Gyro Wraps were horrible - burnt, crumbly meat. Onion rings were great and tuna melt was good as well. Out of spanakopita. Nice server.

We have been to this restaurant a couple of times. There is always an abundance of food. The food tasted good. I would say that a few things should be addressed. One is the ceiling has some loose, flaking spackle/paint. Pieces missing and potentially ready to fall. Second is the condiment holder is dirty. Overall, a nice atmosphere.

I've been to this diner a few times now and each time the food has been okay. The food wasn't bad but wasn't anything special. I had pancakes and hashbrowns and they were bland. I did try lunch with them and that was better. I heard that they have an amazing chicken souvlaki so I would suggest trying that. The staff is really friendly and does make it more of an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is 100% diner although it does feel really dated inside so it is charming but might not be everyones cup of tea. I would go back and try more. I think it is worth checking out especially since the food isn't costly.

My experiences here have been a mixed bag. We used to enjoy this cozy dive. Then the quality of the food and dining experience went downhill. The food just became bland and tasteless. The decor seemed to have changed from what I remember and lost some of the cozy atmosphere. If fact, this seems to now cater to elderly retirees who are on a fixed income and don't care about the quality of the food because they're just happy to get out. If that's your crowd, go for it.

We popped in to Sheridan's for breakfast. We were seated quickly, but it took a long time to get our orders placed - there only seemed to be one person working the tables. It also took a long time for the food to arrive. My wife looks forward to having pancakes on the rare occasions when we go out for breakfast, but hers were cold and tough - apparently they are made ahead and plated for each order. I had the French toast and eggs, and they were quite good. We probably won't go back- there are other places in the area to try.

This was one of our favorite Greek restaurants to go to. However, the food is always hit or miss. You will have one amazing day, and then the next couple times will be absolutely horrible. Friends of ours refuse to come back due to the inconsistency. After giving up and not coming here a few years, we gave it another try. The french toast was absolutely perfect. This time, the french toast was basically just dry bread, nothing French toast about it. We asked our waitress and she said she would redo it. It came back even drier and she never bothered to ask if it was better. The other time our complaints were the toast was cold with massive amounts of butter that couldn't melt (see pic). French toast was cold and hard to chew. Pancakes were just alright. The home fries were good though. Some waitresses are super nice, friendly, personable, and attentive.

We must have came in on an off day, the hostess was rude and not caring, we came in and waited while she was too busy talking to the other employees and when someone told her we were waiting to be seated she replied with "yeah yeah". Seated us with attitude, and another employee apologized for her attitude. Ordered the scrambled eggs and homefries. The scrambled eggs were undercooked and wet. Toast was OK, lightly toasted. The homfries were overdone and burnt and dry. I do not plan on coming back. If I do, I will update my experience if it changes.

Update: I visited a second time, except this time my coffee WAS empty for most of my meal, and the servers didn't even come by my table until my food was done. Already high prices have gone up - now $13.25 for the same meal as my first review. Food was still average. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Excellent service, average food. Prices are a little high for this type of restaurant - my omelette and coffee came out to $12.75 after tax. You'll never have an empty coffee cup though, which is very important in my book.

So I'm thinking I should have ordered breakfast items, cause I ordered the roast beef dinner expecting actual roast beef instead I got sandwich meat roast beef covered with gravy and instant potatoes, the corn was dry and not cooked all the way with a weird flavor.. however my husband got the fried chicken it looked and tasted good it was half a chicken well worth the money there. The chef salad if that's what you wanna call it was wilted ice burg lettuce and a couple slices of tomato that's it!

Went there on a weeknight with two other people. The person who greeted us acted like she'd rather be anywhere but there, and basically threw the menus on the table while saying "your server will be with you" as she walked away. The server was friendly, but not very fast. The food was not great. I ordered a burger cooked to medium, but got it well-done. The onion rings I ordered with it were good. Another member of my party got a chicken souvlaki salad, which she said was good. The other member go the Greek dinner, and it was barely edible. In addition, it took the server 5 or 6 tries to get all of our food and beverages delivered, and had to be reminded each time of what we were still missing. The only positive is that they comped the really bad meal. I guess it's a good place to visit if you only want chicken souvlaki.

I usually love Sheridan Family Restaurant. The food has been good and fresh and the service is usually great. However, I was there for lunch yesterday and was very disappointed. The waitress was sarcastic and a little surly. The food was burned and barely eatable. The tomatoes that came with my very crispy Spinach Pie were green and hard. This has been such a great place for a long time. I hope this is not a sign that this go-to family restaurant is in decline.

Let me be direct here! I would NOT go here again if someone paid me to! We arrived at 1140AM today (11/21/2021) for lunch. I used to come here growing up, and remember the “good old days” when this place WAS great! Those days are LONG GONE! The ONLY reason for the second star is that our server was nice, despite being relatively busy (working 4 tables from what I could see). We ordered 2 “Footlong” Texas Hots (Hot Dogs with their house made Greek Hot Dog Sauce, mustard, and onions) We also ordered a BLT. Neither of which came with anything on the side (which is shameful). So we paid extra for French fries. The food (as simple an order as they come) took 22 minutes to come to the table. That’s painfully slow. That’s not “we were short-staffed”, or “the stove stopped working” slow….that’s “we fired all our staff, burned down the restaurant, and rebuilt before making your order…slow” They brought out a BLT that in all markets would be “fair” for quality and appearance. The tomatoes were a tad beyond “best by” date if you ask me. The Footlong hotdogs were 2 standard hot dogs in a Footlong bun with onions, mustard and store bought spaghetti sauce on them. They were absolutely disgusting. The toasted bun was toasted perfectly on top, and was burned so badly on the bottom, I needed “dental records” to identify it. We paid almost $30 for this trash. I wouldn’t serve it in a homeless shelter. The restaurant appears to be an old run down Pizza Hut, which desperately needs a good deep cleaning. Steer clear of this dumpster fire. *This review is not intended to reflect poorly on our server, she was pleasant, and helpful.

I went there for brunch. Hardly anyone in there. Took over a 1/2 to get food. Cornbread has was almost burnt on the outside. Inside barely cooked. Service was terrible. I sat and waited another 25 minutes to get my bill. Waitress never came back to check on us. Never again, even though it is the only restaurant in walking distance.

Rude waitress (Bonita). She had a smile until I asked for a substitute, also asked her to grab a side of ranch, she suggested ketchup --seems because she already had the bottle in her apron. I would've order more had I felt invited to look at the menu and order what I wanted. What really got me was the only time she made eye contact with me was to tell me I couldn't sit sideways in the booth. Little did she know I had a knot in my back and cannot sit the way she wanted me to. I didn't leave a tip, I hope she finds a better place to work because serving isn't it!

Can’t comment on the food; we sat for 45 minutes and no one even took our order. We were barely acknowledged. Family Tree has essentially the same menu and great service. Too bad we couldn’t enjoy breakfast with our daughter as she had to get on the road.

I ordered the 3 French toast (#4) and two eggs (#5) breakfast and it was horrible. The home fries taste extremely old and the seasoning on them were nasty. The French toast wasn’t even French toast, it was bread. Ugh. The eggs were good, I got them scrambled with cheese and spinach and the bacon was good. The toast was even soggy. This was one bad breakfast. I also called the restaurant to let them know of my experience and the woman who answered the phone placed me on hold and went to speak to someone. She then got back on the phone and stated there was nothing she or they could do about it because everything was “supposed to have been made fresh” when the potatoes tasted like the night before smh they didn’t even offer to swap it out with something else… very disappointing. I’ll never be eating at this restaurant again. The menu is not even updated on their site either. When I got there my total didn’t match what was on the site so I spent about $25 on this. So disappointing. Very nasty food 🤢 I’m only giving 1 star because the eggs and bacon were good.

Greasy onions, meat was oily and definitely over cooked. Baked potato was vibrant yellow? Barely any actual lettuce in the salad. Asked how they wanted beef cooked for a greek dish but an actual sirloin didn’t get asked about? Kind of a limited menu too. Reviews seem good for breakfast but maybe keep it there.

This was my first time at this establishment and unfortunately will also be my last. We decided to dine here because it came highly recommended by a friend of mine. We got seated pretty immediately even though they were super busy, which was nice however it took 20 minutes for us to place our order. Seeing as it didn’t take the table next to us that long after ordering for them to receive their food we didn’t think that was a big deal. However 10 minutes after placing our order we were advised that the sourdough sandwich special they advertise when you first walk in they didn’t have, so they asked if I wanted it on a different bread or something else, so I asked for a menu (again, it was our first time here). No less than 30 seconds after it was dropped off, the server is coming back to see what I wanted. I politely handed her the menu back and said I didn’t want anything. How can I decide what else I wanted from a large menu if you don’t even give me a few minutes to look at it. So we paid for my beverage as well as my mothers meal and left. I won’t be back.

How do you make a disgusting cheese omelette? By pouring liquid cheese on top of folded eggs. If this wasn’t bad enough the hostess was extremely rude and unpleasant. What ever happened to service with a smile or thanking a guest for coming in? You won’t get either here. Just one with an attitude who slams the pen down so you can sign the receipt. Unbelievable. I paid $12 for Patty melt that doesn't include French fries and it was the smallest Patty melt I've had in my life it did not come with grilled onions it came with one slice of cheese, 1 small circular hamburger. They wanted to charge an extra $1.39 to upgrade to sourdough bread that's how cheap this places has come. I ordered a hot dog with their hot dog sauce. its not like any other Greek restaurant it's tomato sauce and ground beef worst restaurant ever they've gone so downhill. WAY OVERPRICED FOR PORTIONS. THEY'VE GONE CHESP ON EVERYTHING. SOMEONE MUST WANT TO RETIRE
