This restaurant is wonderful. The staff was friendly and humorous and the atmosphere was warm and intimate. Definitely a great place for a romantic night out with your significant other or with a few close friends. The food was excellent, my girlfriend and I both got different burgers and were both blown away. I definitely recommend "The Ton I Wanna" burger if you're particularly hungry. I don't want to leave out the cocktails which besides being a HEALTHY pour, were well mixed and delicious. Prices too were very reasonable. I can't recommend this place enough, my only regret is not visiting this place sooner.

Outstanding! The service was excellent. Everyone in our party of 10 ordered different items from the menu and everyone thuroughly enjoyed their dish. I think their prices are reasonable for the food they serve (only one dish was over $20) and I think it's worth every penny.

Just left there from having a very nice dinner. Our waitress was Corey and she was awesome!!!!! The French onion soup was amazing along with the other appetizers. A great server can always make your experience that much better and that’s what Corey did.We will definitely be back!

Friendly staff and good food! It was honestly a bit slow when we were there and our waitress had to cover the bar and tables because someone called in minutes before their shift. It could be seen that the staff was all trying to work together to over come this though. Serving sizes were pretty good too!

I have always liked this place. However, We went on a night when there was a big gathering and it was very loud. Four stars for service because the waiter brought three dinners and brought the fourth about seven minutes later. I will continue to go back because it should be all five stars. It was just a bad night.

One of our favorite restaurants. The bacon chicken mac and cheese is our fave bur the BLAST and the pretzel roll burgers and really everything else we've had has been on point. Great wait staff - friendly, attentive, and stopped by exactly when needed.

Got a dinner for take out with my wife when we were visiting Niagara falls in June. Amazing food, we ordered Meatloaf and Root beer chicken wings. Food tasted great, even though wings were a bit "crispy", everything was delicious. Definitely will stop by again if ever I will come back to Niagara falls, which I will. Friendly staff, unfortunately we weren't able to dine in, but we were treated nicely and they have accepted our order in person, so we just came back for the food.

My boyfriend and I have been here on several occasions - lunch and dinner. Every time has been a great experience. Excellent service, delicious food, tasty cocktails... we’ve definitely added it to our list of favorite places to go! Highly recommend giving it a shot

This is a great place! They serve 2 different types of turkey sandwiches. You can't go wrong with either. We were a group of 13. Everyone's entire looked great. I would go back here anytime! Don't forget to get a bag of their donuts with dipping sauces!

Atmosphere is upbeat with great service. Bravo to Shannon our server for great recommendations and making us feel welcome. The pretzel burger was slamming with onions and horseradish sauce. Calamari is fresh and crispy.

Great lunch, they make a great Bloody Mary with just the right amount of kick! Kelly was very happy with her Tofu stack ( tasty and crisp) as well as with half my Tot Poutine. William is an attentive server, the room was nice too, comfy bar with a 90s feel and cozy tall booths.

The food here is amazing!! The restaurants executive chef has a real talent and the presentation of the dish was perfect! Would definitely recommend this establishment not only for the food, but the staff and the prices as well!! I will absolutely dine here again.

The food is very good,. The menu is very diverse, it has a nice selection of burgers, salads and then some pretty unique entrees. The Gorgonzola chicken was very good. For me what makes this restaurant stand out is the very deep cocktail selection. The appetizer selection is also very good. The restaurant ambience is very contemporary. The Service was excellent!

Happy to have tried The Delaware again; much improved since my last visit several years ago. While the wait time is still on the long side, it is GREATLY reduced since they've incorporated a reservation system. The food was always good, but the menu has expanded (elated to see they still have the asparagus fries, & was pleasantly surprised to see Deviled eggs...an unexpected menu item, & well worth getting) to include some eclectic takes on classic dishes. They weren't afraid to serve my steak rare, which I very much appreciate, as many places serve what I call a "nervous rare." Not so here, perfectly done, with a gorgonzola cashew butter that accented the steak terrifically. The place is always packed, & the wait staff handles it great; despite being absolutely bombarded, our waitress kept the water glasses & coffee mugs topped, we were want for nothing. It is an "industrial chic" atmosphere, with more tables than the space permits, & it is LOUD. Take this into consideration if people in the party are hard of hearing. It is LOUD. I'm glad I gave it another chance, because I've always enjoyed the food, & they've really grown into themselves in very good ways. Next time I'm going to try to go during a less busy time, though...they really cram you in.

I’ve been to the Delaware several times over the last 5 years, and every time has been a great experience. I recently had a birthday dinner here for my wife, with 21 people in the party. I was able to make reservations for a Saturday night about 3 weeks out when a few other places turned me down, and they gave us almost the entire upstairs area to ourselves! I bought a cake from a grocery store and they were nice enough to keep it in the cooler and bring it upstairs with candles lit after we were finished with dinner. Our waitress, Danielle, was awesome and very attentive. Food was very good and not 1 complaint from anyone (even with some picky eaters among us). I would recommend this place to anyone and will continue to come here in the future.

Wow! What a top notch experience last night. We were dining before the Michael Buble' concert. The food was fantastic and our server was AMAZING. I missed the introduction so I do not have his name. But this guy goes above and beyond and he's very funny too. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for being a great addition to our celebration.

Everything about our meal at The Delaware was wonderful. We were seated right away, and brought water. Both the drink and food menus were full of choices. My cherry limeade from the bar was perfect. The food was a combination of cleverly worded names, and well matched ingredients. The poutine tots were delicious, and a nice big portion. We tried two burgers (one medium and one well) and they were both juicy and tender. One side of fries was plenty for two of us to share. The staff was attentive, and very helpful. We will most definitely be back.

We had a lovely meal for our anniversary. I ordered the B.L.A.S.T (Bacon, lettuce, avocado, salmon, tomato) sandwich. It was amazing. All my favorite things on a ciabatta. My husband was very happy with his rib eye steak. Restaurant was very clean and waitress was so friendly and pleasant. We will be back!

Wow... amazing. I went here to meet a group of work friends and I am so glad I did. The food is absolutely delectable! I had the cauliflower steak and plan to return with my husband as soon as possible to have again. They have several vegetarian options for us non-meat eaters. The setting is beautiful as well. Bartender and server were very nice. A definite must do if in North Buffalo.

We had dinner yesterday afternoon for my parents 50th anniversary..Originally we had 12 when I called to make a reservation, then we ended up having 16. They were amazing , accommodating the change! Everyone had a great time, and the food was amazing! Our server Will was excellent.. we will return for sure again! Thank you 😘

This place is great. Small, classy & beautiful. The owner or manager (has a daughter named Emily) he was very nice & attentive. Listened & executed all my requests & was very polite. Mac & cheese here is delicious!!!! This was my 3rd time ordering from here. Definitely will come back again hasn't failed me!

Our second visit and the food was just as good if not better than the first visit. The Pastrami Reuben is probably the best my husband ever had, and he’s serious about Reubens! I had the grain bowl with shrimp, lemon parsley pesto and brown rice. Wow - it was perfect! You can choose from different grains, different proteins, and a choice of sauces to create your own. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been here with large and small groups (as few as 2 and up to 15 people) at least 10 times, eaten indoor and out and have always had a great experience, love the menu variety, great bar, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Handicapped accessible. It’s a go to for special occasions and no occasion.

Firstly, I've out of habit ordered the strip three times in a row. EVERY time it was the same or better. Additionally, different servers, different bartender. Still great. I would say Oscar, Jerry, Amy...all exceptional. EVERY staff has been kind and professional. I'm leaving names out... but the point is go here

Had Pretzelweck and Stuffed Banana Pepper Mac and Cheese. Both were delicious. Banana Pepper Mac was very spicy which I thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely want to go back and try some of the rest of the menu. Service was great and very low key atmosphere. Will be back!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My husband had a freshly sliced pastrami Reuben, warm, toasted rye, with house made potato chips. I chose a grilled pear spinach salad with mashed strawberries, feta cheese and almonds. Didn’t even need dressing! We will be back!

Went here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was nice and modern. The staff was funny and friendly. The service was overall pretty fast and well done. I had the southern chicken sandwich which was delicious. I am looking forward to coming back in the near future.

To go order. Food was spot on. We have been going here for years and love the food and service. We only have one request; that they update their menu. What they make is excellent, but we don't want the menu to go stale.

Went to a funeral brunch here. The food was amazing, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere great. The bartender was excellent, too. It was just the nice little comfort needed after something like a funeral.

I have ate here on other occasions. However last night it seems that they changed up the menu. The Chef literally must have been personally touched by GOD. I only eat healthy and clean, so GREAT MOVE, adding rice bowls. Instead of paying 16 dollars at Rachael's or Chipotle you can order a bowl from heaven from the Delaware! I also had the halibut, and it was clean and fresh. Extremely impressed with this place! #GOYAinc 🇺🇲

My son and his wife took us there on Jan. 30, 23. It was the first time for all of us. We ordered asparagus fries and banana pepper dip. Both we're out of this world. We ordered the Ghost burger (not at all hot so don't be worried about the peppers) but a delicious very greasy burger. Wife got the jam burger very good as well and daughter in law got the salmon rice bowl . Again we all loved our food. The service was super. We would recommend this place to everyone. Scott

We went here because my son-in-law ate here once and it "stood out" - and after we tried it, I can see why. Tables are well spaced so it doesn't feel like people are sitting on each other but the decor makes it feel cozy. Great bar filled with locals - a good sign - and the wait staff seemed to know them ALL. Food was excellent- tasty mac, maple salmon that looked SOOO well cooked, good fryer, well-seasomed burger. Not too pricey, I expected worse in this day and age. I'll be back soon.

We had a party of 15 people. We came for the Tom and Jerry's. We made reservations and the manager called me to confirm and go over where we would sit. He was very accommodating! We had excellent service and even met another manager or owner. He was very friendly and made sure we were all set. The Tom and Jerry's were amazing and so good! We had a great experience and would highly recommend giving it a try. Some of our party had the meatloaf, Gorgonzola chicken and lots of burgers. They were delicious! Tom Jerry's 10/10!

I grew up in this neighborhood as a child, this restaurant used to be a carvel ice cream shop which kinda brought me back. We were looking for somewhere to have a drink and some app’s. We entered the bar area to be greeted very cheerfully by Jamie our bartender. What an amazing personality, she was helpful with every question we had. We had a couple of Mules and some pretzel bites. Amy the other bartender also checked in on us a few times. We were very impressed with the decor and location. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Jamie for being an amazing bartender! You have an amazing employee!

The Delaware is one of the best restaurants in Kenmore! They are open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner. They have a large centrally located bar. I also love their spacious booths. It's a great place for me to meet for business lunches. Excellent service and great food! Lots of healthy and low carb options are available. On my last visit, I had the deviled eggs and Caesar salad with shrimp. Both are great choices! I will definitely be returning soon!

3rd visit, the first two were just okay but this time we had appetizers and dinner entrees. The French onion soup was very flavorful and a good cheese crunch. The meatloaf with an added touch of bacon wrap had a nice flavor and the gravy was a nice compliment over the mashed potatoes. The fish special was well prepared too.

t
timmeh2727

The wait staff is great. Particularly the bartender that was there that night. He noticed my sister was drinking a mule and engaged with our table about it. The Asparagus and sweet potato fries were both awesome bit the actual fries that came with my steak left a little to be desired. That's the only thing keeping me from giving it a 5. I'll be back for sure.

Excellent service- but we were at an off- hour, 3 pm- food and outdoor seating were very nice. Marissa was very quick and accommodating- never had to ask for anything more than once. Will be back during a busier time- hopefully service holds up! Also reservations are recommended.

Food was great. Waitress Christina was great! & The manager? Or waiter had excellent customer service! It was Iittle hard to find though. The sign needs some upgrade. Last time I ordered was takeout. My vegetarian meal was missing a main ingredient. I knew something was off but was just too hungry. But I just realized that. I'm not going to call because I didn't get to take a picture but that's actually disappointing .

I ordered an aperol spritz, a Blue Moon, deviled eggs, skirt steak and fries, and lemon cake with coffee for dessert. Overall the food was good, especially the steak. The Blue Moon had an off taste, like butter. The deviled eggs were good, but inconsistent. One was overly sweet and the other three were savory. The skirt steak came with cucumber pico verde, chimichurri, and fries. It also came with green beans which were delicious but seemed an odd addition to a simple steak and frites plate. The lemon cake was fantastic and I wished I had not gotten the deviled eggs so I could finish the slice. The coffee was piping hot and had a decent flavor. The service was pretty slow. My server was pretty inattentive, but polite. The pub was pretty empty, but had a handful of over-40s professionals. The food was good, but not quite my scene. I'd potentially come back for take-out, but I don't think it's somewhere I'd sit down for again.

P
Pamela Anne

We stopped for lunch last week. We had the onion soup which had the best broth I ever had. It's a smaller bowl, so next time I'd ask for less bread to be put in it. There was a lot of cheese on it. Delicious. We had burgers cooked to perfection. We both added bacon, which was thick & perfectly cooked. They are the only ppl place who knows how to cook fries perfectly. Everywhere else the fries are weak. I had sweet potato fries, my husband had regular. They do not have a good selection of beer or IPA. Supposedly they had a citrus IPA, which we ordered. Not great. They ran out of paper napkins & take home containers so the need better mgt. We will definitely return.

I've been here a few times now. What I like about the Delaware is that the menu here is pretty diverse. There is something to meet everyone's food desires. Most recently I went for a late lunch with my husband and in-laws (who have never been there before) and we all enjoyed it. I am only giving 4* because I do notice the food takes forever to come out - even soups take like 20 mins - and because it is ice cold freezing inside. Not the greatest option when you're in a rush during your lunch break. Definitely a better option when you have time on your hands. Two things to note: One, the lemon-parsley pesto option for grain bowls is way too oily and not lemony or parsley-ish enough somehow. I had to ask for fresh lemon. Would not recommend that option. Two, the French onion soup is GREAT. It's not overly oniony or bready and it's not underseasoned or watery. This will probably be my go-to place for French onion soup now.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time. She had French Onion Soup and the Smoked Wedge Salad. I had Delaware Cajun Wings and french fries. We both enjoyed the food and drinks. The place was clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and adequate. We will definitely go back again. Great place.

3 people Friday evening. 1)Battered fish fry was c-. Each end was dry and not edible. center was ok. 2)Cajun broiled fish was A+. Good flavor and nice piece. 3)Goat cheese salad B. If there was variety of greens it would have improved the rating Just arugula made it boring. 4)Beignet desert D- The donut was good. The 3 toppings were cold and hard. There was no way to dip the hot donut and when I asked for a few small spoons to scoop the toppings, I got grief from the server. I explained the dilemna not being able to get the topping on the beignet. Server reply: "that's how they do it", Overall: not an experience that would make me want to return. Considering the empty sears at 5:30PM Friday others must feel the same way. jfrank

Great experience, very clean and quiet enough to enjoy a conversation with my partner. Our sever Paul was great, very attentive (I really appreciated this, some servers at other spots suck). The Napa flat bread appetizer was phenomenal, would go back just for this. My gf and I both got a grain bowl and we both agreed it was just ok. She got the chicken and I got the steak. Flavor was just ok for both of us (bacon soy/maple ginger). Jasmine rice was overcooked, quinoa was good. The cut of steak was only alright but it was rather inexpensive so that was also ok with me. Steak came medium rare, I wasn’t asked about my preference (which was also ok as I would’ve ordered medium rare anyways). We will absolutely be back to try other stuff! Would recommend!

First time visiting after a plethora of times driving by. We tried their veal meatball appetizer, meatloaf, and short rib pasta. The meatballs were incredible as was the pasta. Reminded us of a higher quality beef stroganoff. I wouldn't recommend buying a bottle of wine due to the price but their cocktails were good. The waitress was lovely and atmosphere was nice. We would visit again.

The food was awesome. We sat in the lower section, and it was really loud and close to the bar. The service was horrible. We ordered drinks and had to ask another server to get them for us. It's really expensive for pub style food!

Personally thought food was fine, a little saltier than would’ve like but for sure it was good. Staff was pretty good, waiter was very attentive. Menu and drink selections were great. We went on a night it was raining so indoor seating was a little bit of await as it’s not a huge place. All in all I think it was a good experience, I don’t have anything bad to really say. (Other than the salt)

First time at The Delaware. Food was good, wide range of choices on the menu! Only problem, it took an hour to get our food. The wait staff was very apologetic, but we were HUNGRY... A little pricey as well. And if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the place for you!

C
Cliff Tremblay

The food was tasty. The server was pleasant but MIA more often than not. I had a sandwich called a BLAST( bacon, lettuce, avocado, salmon, tomato) that has one slice of bacon on it and no lettuce. I had a bAST. THE "jumbo" shrimp on my wifes pasta were at best 31-40. The food was tasty and the place was nice. All that is ever asked is, get the order right and be a bit more attentive. Especially when they're only 8 people in the place.

P
Patrick Dunning

Food is great, service is adequate. Got water and it wasn't refilled until well after the food arrived. Not a ton of selection on the menu but everything that I've had there has been great as long as you aren't in a hurry. Maybe better for dinner and drinks with friends than lunch?

J
Jeffery Mead

Food and atmosphere was good. I give service workers a lot of leeway and am always nice to them. Always have even pre covid. The service on this day could have been better. The attitude my daughter and I received was one of indifference and my usual 20% tip or better became 15%.

Party of six with reservations, steak was.ordered rare and arrived well done, round of drinks took about twenty mins to arrive each time. Got the wrong drink order twice and we drank it without complaint but the service staff just seemed perhaps new or not well trained. Went on a weeknight so it was not busy maybe 4 other tables and 2 couples at the bar. The wait staff didn't tell us the specials or seasonal items until we specifically asked, seemed very unsure about the menu in general. Honestly I would give it another go maybe in a few months and hope for the best.

A
Ash Dunning

The food is good, but we've been here twice and both times the service was lackluster. Our waitress didn't bring my sister-in-law's salad out before the meal, and likely would have forgotten it entirely if we hadn't mentioned it along with our chips and dip. Our water glasses were empty most of the meal. We've given the two chances now, and we'll just pass in the future. There are places with food that's just as good with better service.

K
Kevin Dao

We went here for lunch today. Our waitress was nice but I wasn't too impressed with the food. My medium burger come out much more closer to well done. The tator tots were just okay. The wait for the food after ordering also seemed a bit long.

T
Talia Watts

Food was pretty good once we all got ours. I had to reorder and get another choice as I got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was not cooked thoroughly.Came in with a group but not alot of options for those with food sensitivities and allergies. The only thing didn't didn't like was the service. It took forever to get attention of the waitresses. My entire party was not satisfied we not go back

J
Janice S

It had been a while since dining at the Delaware. So disappointing was the food. I had the turkey melt that listed fresh turkey breast and asked the waitstaff if it was indeed fresh turkey and was reassured that it was. When the sandwich came it was processed deli meat. The aoli was good and the bread was tasty. I deconstructed the sandwich to eat. It came with a side of pasta salad. I guess the cook decided that it should be cold pasta with bottled Italian dressing. When looking at others who had a sandwich, their pasta salad was also left on the plate. Take note kitchen and change it. Dessert of bread pudding, oh my! A hot square of heavy, baked bread. Again the cook needs a recipe book to learn how to make this dessert. A very disappointing lunch and I don't know if I can give them another chance. On a positive note, waitstaff were friendly and polite, washrooms are spotless.

Delaware Pub & Grill: Overhyped, Pricey "Fancy Bar Food" I heard a lot of buzz about Delaware Pub & Grill, with someone shouting it out and everyone else just following suit. Honestly, after visiting, I'm left wondering if I'm a complete food snob or if this place is just popular because... well, what else is around? It's a cool-looking spot, I'll give it that. The ambiance is decent. However, for the cost, I was highly underwhelmed by the food. Coming from Chicago, my bar for "good food" is perhaps a bit higher, but this was essentially just fancy bar food at restaurant prices. Nothing truly stood out, and the flavors certainly didn't justify the bill. I guess if you live in the immediate area, it might seem like a top choice, but it felt a lot like putting lipstick on a pig. Don't go in expecting a culinary revelation.

S
Sarah Comfort

It's a really cute place and the service was very good. I got the Pasta Armondo. Taste wise, it was fine. The price was listed in the menu as $17.95 with chicken, shrimp, salmon, or steak in parenthesis after and no mention of an additional charge. The added charge for not very much chicken was $5.75. Without the added protein, there was not very much pasta. The basil ricotta was good, but it was just plopped on top. It was a pretty basic dish, and pricing just doesn't match. I would not have ordered it if they had been upfront on the menu about the upcharge.

Food was fine as always. Ordering food took much longer than I would expect. There was a subtle whining noise the entire meal, like a tea kettle constantly going off. It really was an awful sound for the meal. Big fan of the Steak Tater Tot Poutine.

Went on Friday night for family birthday. There were 13 of us. We waited way over hour for appetizers and same for dinner. Appetizers were Ok. The skirt steak entree ordered by many was tough and not eaten. Fish fry was good, very disappointing

Tried this place for lunch on a Monday afternoon, 4 tables - a 3 top outside with drinks and starters, 4 top inside wrapping up, 2 top waiting to order, us- 2 top and 1 person sitting at the bar, with 1 server and 1 bar tender. I got a cucumber ginger mocktail, asparagus fries as a starter, the turkey melt with chips and a Ruben with fries substitute. The starter came out before I got my drink and it wasn't what we were expecting the asparagus is very thin and is accompanied by very thick double fried batter, it wasn't bad though and the dipping sauces were great. The mocktail was excellent, very refreshing. The sandwiches were also good, the fries were fried together in a ball but the few we could get were good. Our waitress wasn't very attentive, think she might have been hitting the end of her shift.

Been here a few times for work dinners. The beer and cocktails are great. The food has been ok. Pasta was overcooked and felt mushy and the chicken was dry. Burgers were ok. The pita meat was dry even with the sauce. The best thing is the meatloaf and dessert.

This used to be a medium upscale place but it’s not anymore. I went there for a nice b’day dinner but it wasn’t that great. Service was slow, not enough people working there, practically everyone wearing jeans and sneakers and ordering hamburgers and fries. Drinks were good but I didn’t appreciate looking at the slop bucket in the hallway all during dinner. Not a ‘special occasion’ place at all ! I won’t be going back.

We visited around 5 PM last night. The male host who seated us was very friendly and welcoming, which started the experience off nicely. Unfortunately, our waitress was not attentive or friendly at all. We had to stack our appetizer and dinner plates at the edge of the table just to get them cleared, our water ran out, and she never once smiled and rarely checked in. During our visit, we couldn’t help but notice the bartender was very friendly and engaging with guests, even though we weren’t seated with her—we honestly wished we had sat at the bar instead. While the food itself was great, the poor service really overshadowed the experience. Sadly, we will not be returning unless we sit at the bar. Also, I believe we were the only table she had to take care of, I might understand the lack of service if the place was packed but we were 1 of 3 tables. Thinking the other waitress was taking care of the other 2 tables.

Haven't been to The Delaware for a while. Glad to see the menu had a few changes since I had some menu fatigue a few years back. Service attentive at first, then fell off. I didn't order a drink and had to steal boyfriend's water. We ordered the Korean meatballs. They were.. adequate. Slightly bland and slightly dry, but the sauce was excellent -- bbq and Sriracha. From a food point of view, an app with an odd number makes sense. The server knowing we are sharing and not requesting the kitchen even it out isn't great service. But that might be me nitpicking. Biyfriend ordered a burger that he said was "fine, good" Fries were very good, crispy, coated, well seasoned. I got the special, squash ravioli. Now, I love butternut squash, pumpkin, and all those warm sweet fall kind of flavors. But this dish was way too what i call "samey-samey". All the flavors were too much the same. Sweet, slightly undercooked, no not el dente, ravioli with fennel that has a sweeter flavor profile, in brown butter sage cream sauce. I thought the cream was too similar in sweetness. The dish needed something contrasting for the pallet. After we ordered, we didn't see our server, but she did apologize for being absent. The main dinning room is crazy loud so talking was a bit difficult. Overall, an ok experience. A bit expensive. Not sure I'd go back soon, but in a year or so I probably will.

We absolutely love The Delaware. We've never been disappointed in the food. Last night we ate under the tent. It's the first time we've been to a restaurant in three months because of the quarantine. The food was great! However, after ordering a beer, the waitress brought it to me in a plastic cup. It looked small and I even said so to the waitress. She assured me that although it looked small, it was actually 16oz. However, below the rim of the cup, it was marked 0.35L. I Googled it and it converts to 11.8oz. That's less than a can (12oz) of beer. That's $6.50 for less than a can. To her credit, I mentioned this to the waitress and she offered to bring me some more to which I declined. We saw some friends dining there as well and they had ordered multiple glasses of beer. I wonder what they'll say when they find out the shortage. We'll be back, but not for drinks.

French onion soup was not the greatest. I didn’t find the staff to be friendly at all when I went in. I had a 9 year old with me n we got outside and he said they were rude. For a child to notice that…that’s pretty bad

Overpriced. I had the grain bowl and it was not as described in the menu. Waitress never came back to ask how it was or why I barely ate it. My friend did like her French onion soup. Think the prices are very high for what you get. Won’t go back

Very clean and friendly staff. Ordered french onion soup, awesome flavor only problem WAY TOO MUCH BREAD. therefore hardly any cheese! Meatloaf was also delicious but not worth $17, broccoli was not cooked and tasted nasty. There selection of pop is RC Cola products lmfao, for the prices charged u should have Pepsi or Coke. Food ok but not worth the money

We arrived at 6pm and immediately told our waiter we had tickets for comedy show at 8pm at Robs place which actually promotes The Delaware for dinner. Drinks and appetizers were great and served quickly however our dinner was a different story. At 7pm we were told just a few minutes. At 7:15 we were told something burned and had to be recooked. At 7:30 was told just a few more minutes. At 7:50 we left with empty stomachs. I'd have more respect for this place if they were honest but obviously we kept being lied to. We won’t ever be back

Took my mother here for Mothers Day. Felt like service was very slow but it wasn't busy at all.. and the food wasn't up to expectations. Asparagus fries tasted like fried dough, the chicken was burned, the turkey and ham was very dry like it was a few days old.

Ordered the new york strip steak, was so thin and dry was cooked well past well done. Supposed fresh cut fries were battered. Best part of the meal was the french onion soup and the dessert, bag o doughnuts. Years ago they had great food 4 or 5 stars. Cutting quality and corners is the fast track to no business.

Wanted to love this place but they really dropped the ball. I will start by saying the ambiance was great and the interior is super charming. We came here on Valentine's day and expected it to be busy and maybe a tad slower service, but our waitress took twenty minutes to even come greet us and take our drink order. At that point we ordered our food too since we'd had plenty of time with the menu. Never saw the waitress again until our plates were empty. We were ready to leave by the time she came back and offered another round of drinks. She never asked how the food was or anything about our experience. My water glass was empty for so long, I went to the bar and asked for a refill myself. My fiancé had the pork chop and it was super bland. My steak pasta was decent but was missing something. Just really seemed to be no sense of urgency whatsoever among the staff. I've heard awesome things about this place but don't think I will ever go back with the horrible service and overpriced mediocre food.

Having enjoyed this restaurant in the past, we decided to stop in for a casual dinner. While service was very slow, thd real problem was that the insanely overpriced meals were awful. The chicken cutlet “special” was tiny, overcooked, and beyond bland, while my wife paid $20 for what we figure was about 45 cents worth of lettuce and a remarkably small and overcooked $2 piece of chicken. When we finally got out check from our inattentive (overworked?) waitress and saw the ridiculous bill, we knew we’d never be back. A very poor experience from start to finish and not worth half of what we paid.

Went there last night with a party of 8, the staff was friendly. However the food was absolutely awful. We've been here several times over the years and have always liked it hence why we came back. The caprese wedge salad for 12.95 came with hard sliced pieces of Mozzarella like from the block you get at the store, next to no dressing or seasoning, no basil and awful tomatoes. The meatloaf was wrapped in raw Bacon was super dense and had no flavor and slightly cold. The gorgonzola chicken came out cold, with a weird brown moose??? Had no flavor only sour notes? The beans were good but the mashed potatoes were super dense and had no flavor at all, just like someone boiled potatoes and kind of mashed them up. Someone got the Salmon dish and instead of Asparagus there where 5 pickle slices place around the plate??? And w.e rice or grain it was supposed to come on was awful. The kids grilled cheese was rock hard, and cold...the chicken fingers where good. For close to $300 with tip we should of gone somewhere else. I'm not sure.if there are new cooks in the kitchen or people who can't read recipes but this was just awful and almost embarrassing.

For an upscale place this was definitely over priced for just some prepackaged meats and just "meh" food. I feel like with the meals we had nothing was made in house and that's kind of sad for the price and the fact that it's an "up-scale restaurant". Food and drink also took forever.

Food has gotten worst, service worst, won't be open much longer ... Great location, solid parking there or on street. Reservations not necessary except on weekends. At first service was rough waiting to get seated, but the food was very impressive. Definitely did not expect so many vegan options, tofu stack, veggie burger, and cauliflower steak were amazing. Plus great wings and bar food fir others!!! Loved it honestly!!! Had to drop rating due to hair in food.

We visited for happy hour service. Ordered the asparagus fries, turkey melt and the b.l.a.s.t wrap. Not impressed at all ... the turkey used was that overly processed, thin rubbery. You know, the kind ya buy for school lunch when on a tight budget. The b.l.a.s.t wrap was a little burnt on the outside and the salmon appeared to maybe be from a can...? The asparagus fries were decent but had a bit too much coating and not enough seasoning in it.... There were a few stringy parts but asparagus is always a tough menu item. The homemade chips were horrible ... definitely cooked way too long. The server was nice but not attentive enough... We also ordered a martini (it was happy hour) and the server said ....well I'm not a bartender but I can do my best....we then changed that to a white zin and a bit confused as to why you'd offer a happy hour but have no bartenders on staff.

First time at this place , the waitress never told us the specials , which later we heard another waitress reading them off and there were some great options!! Our waitress was asked twice for drink refills never came so we we went to the bar ourselves and got them !! One of us ordered a steak dinner medium and it was a few tiny slices of steak laid on top of the French fries and was super well done and dry !! Based on the service alone sadly we wouldn’t ever return !!

Nice atmosphere, waited 10 mins @ our table before anyone came over. Food was way below average, foccia bread, like frozen pizza & hard as rock. Salmon like rubber, burger overcooked & tasteless with amazing chips, though fries are laughable as an “ upgrade? 🤣. Thankfully we had a decent bottle of wine. Overall the “ chips” & “ bag of doughnuts” were the best thing about our dinner. Unfortunately would never recommend to friends, we were really hoping for a satisfying meal. Our server was lovely but not well trained, didn’t know what “ Prosecco” was. Will not return

Made reservations for an early Saturday evening dinner. Restaurant was not busy. Was taken upstairs to a small table for two. When I asked to move to a table that had 3 chairs I was told they were saved. Waitress took 15-20 minutes to even show to our table. Ordered holiday drinks and an appetizer. Was told they were out of calamari already at 5:30 pm on a Saturday night? Drinks took another 25 minutes to come to table. Drink were in small glasses, The service was terrible, ambience was weird, and I highly recommend staying away from this business.

Went on a Thursday at 730 pm. Was seated upstairs with a group of six. Put our drink order in, nothing mind blowing. After 40 minutes of waiting I looked and one bartender on duty serving the entire place. I finally left my table went to the bar and begged for two drinks to bring to my table. It took about an hour and a half for food to come. I ordered a t bone steak. It was literally paper thin and tough as nails and I ordered it rare. It was honestly the worst steak I've ever seen at that price point. I would 100% stay away if its even remotely busy.

Came here last Thursday evening around 4:30 PM with a smile on my face. Said hello to the hostess, asked how she was doing, and was greeted with a blank stare. I proceeded to tell her that we had reservations and after confirming, she began to lead us up the stairs. I asked her if there was any way we could be seated downstairs as both of my parents are elderly, one is on chemo with end stage cancer, and the other with heart issues. She told me no that there was a retirement party and they were all booked up. Minutes after being seated and served water, I noticed her setting up a booth downstairs and seating a young couple. They were given menus and waited on, clearly not a part of the retirement party. They seemed like they arrived at their seats, easily with a smile on their face, unlike my mother who was gasping for air by the time she reached her chair. Not quite sure why they were accommodated, and an elderly terminal patron could not be. There was plenty of seating with us upstairs. Eventually, the other two booths that were empty were filled as well. Same thing menus and service. The retirement party was not over. The food was delicious, but the experience was horrible. The hostess/waitress only perked up when we were asking for boxes and a check wishing us a good day. I certainly hope the tip we left continued her smile for the next customer so that they can feel welcomed. We all have bad days, but it was hard to believe hers was so horrible when I looked down at the register and see her singing and dancing to the music. I called and left a message Friday to avoid having to leave this Google review, I did not get a call back. I guess the manager who came in at 1/2 that day doesn’t care. Does anyone at this restaurant?
