I had such a great experience at Bagel Boss Burbank! The shop has an amazing selection of bagels and spreads, but what really stood out to me was the excellent service. Shop attendant Sin took the time to walk me through all the different bagel options and the wide variety of cream cheese spreads. They have flavors I’d never even heard of before! Both Sin and Anna were friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh, the choices are exciting, and the atmosphere is warm. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

First of all Amy is the best!! She guided us through the flavors, and was so passionate about the menu! We tried a couple bagels and cream cheeses, all were amazing (definitely try the coffee chocolate chip one - OOOOOMG). We also got an M&M cookie and it was PACKED with M&Ms, exactly how it should be! Definitely the closest to a NY bagel I’ve found in LA. Give it a try! They have a big seating area outside and in, and the service was just great!

The service is extremely friendly and prompt. Ample seating in the patio. I’m a native New Yorker and this is the real deal! The bagels are so delicious. Don’t miss the black and white cookies!!! Amy was so welcoming and made our visit so special. Love your earrings, queen.

Randomly stopped here as we were just passing through.. got the everything bagel with garlic & herbs cream cheese and hubby got the bacon egg & cheese everything bagel. It was all so fresh and satisfying. Huge selection of different cream cheese flavors.. Even though there was a line, the service was quick that it went by fast. Will definitely be back!!

This bagel place is by far superior over any bagel place I've had. They overfill the bagel with a flavorful cream cheese. Many choices of bagles to cream cheeses. I will definitely come back to try different flavors of bagels and cream cheese. They also have breakfast and lunch food. They do have catering options as well. Highly recommend trying this place.

Have passed this place on Magnolia several times, and just never had the opportunity to stop in... WELL, not any more! Tried it out on a random whim after a hike, and let me tell you - the bagels are INCREDIBLE! Better than Western Bagels by far, and so many non-dairy options for cream cheese. Sin and Anna took great care of us, they let us sample some of their recommended schemers, and answered all our questions. I haven't had a bagel this good since NYC. Check them out! You won't be disappointed!

The bagels and the cream cheese were so delicious! Even the hot breakfast croissant was so good! Savory and the let’s not forget about the rum cake, lord it was so good! I warmed it at home and it tasted even more yummy! Everything we tried, we’d buy again-blueberry bagel/funfetti cream cheese-YES, cake-YES, bacon, egg, and cheese croissant-ALSO YES! Sorry I forgot to take pics of everything but here’s to two of them for ya! They even packaged us up some things on the house for us since we were first timers. It’s a cute vibe with a patio in the back and room to sit inside. The servers were so joyful and nice and just great spirited folks!

went here for some breakfast bagels before the beach. ordered an impossible breakfast bagel (everything bagel, 2 eggs, impossible sausage) and added the tofu based scallion cream cheese. it was great! the bagels are nice and chewy, you don’t lose all of the everything seasoning when you bite down, and the tofu cream cheese was very creamy. impossible sausage is always delicious and the eggs were folded to fit nicely on the sandwich. my cousins who eat dairy tried my sandwich and really enjoyed it as well! so this is something that both vegans and non vegans would enjoy as well. slippery sandwich but expected since it was very hot! it’s nice and cool in the shaded patio area and has a cute mural on the wall.

The closest NYC style bagel I've had in LA. It does not disappoint! And the vegan cream cheese... wow amazing. When we went, they were offering three different vegan schmear options: "plain tofu," "tofu scallion," and "tofu veggie." You know it's the good vegan schmear when they just call it tofu. Tofu scallion was delicious. And the bagel was totally loaded, too. Just like you'd have it in NYC. Had to snag a tub of it to take back home. So stoked to have this in the neighborhood. Will most definitely be coming back. My dream of having NYC bagels in LA with piles of vegan cream cheese has finally come true.

Today I decided to go out and grab breakfast. I heard Bagel Boss had New York bagels and 3 kinds of tofu schmear. I was all in and ready to go! When you enter the restaurant, walk to the back to get in line. You order from the back register and then walk to the front to order specialty coffee and pay. I ordered a sesame bagel with tofu scallion and I was asked if I wanted the bagel toasted. STOP RIGHT THERE. As a New Yorker, I have to say this is illegal and punishable by death. Ok well maybe not death but you NEVER EVER toast a bagel. I also ordered a vanilla oat latte because well, honestly I was feeling a little chilly coming from 110°F Las Vegas (43°C). Now the verdict. First, the coffee Sin (sp?) made me was really good. As for the bagel, I put it next to my large coffee for size comparison and it was HUGE! They also give you a ton of the schmear, which I ended up taking off more than half but you do you. I would’ve been fine with a plain bagel. This is easily hands down the absolute best bagel I’ve ever had outside of NYC. Before becoming a vegan when I’d go back to New York, I’d usually eat bagels and pizza. Seriously. No lie. That’s how much I loved bagels (and white pizza). But it’s been ages since I’ve had a bagel that has a bite and is soft and chewy on the inside. Bagel Boss is the best and I highly recommend them. I also want to add that I watched and heard an employee with another employee in front of customers. Usually, this isn’t a good thing. But she was explaining something about using the espresso machine and she was so positive and helpful. I wish this was how it was everywhere and it’s such a good look for Bagel Boss!

Perfect spot for coffee, breakfast or lunch! Great space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Loads of great selections that aren't just bagels and coffee: tons of sandwich and burrito combos, a bevy of cream cheeses including several tofu based ones for us vegans, snacks and deli items you can pick up to make your own sandwiches at home. David and Alex are super friendly and the space is really clean and huge, perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee meet ups with friends.

This place rules! As a New Yorker living is LA it’s hard finding a proper bagel. Like an actual bagel. Not this crap the pass off a bagels in some of these other LA staples. They know what they are doing, the staff is great, and the coffee is hot. Despite the owner being an islanders fan, if I could give this place ten stars I would.

I wanted to try a new bagel place, so here I am. Bagel Boss, cool name. Yes it's a little pricey, but I have bought bagel in restaurants and other places for about the same amount, but at least here I got coffee and small potato salad. I needed that coffee. I enjoyed my big fat bagel and I loved that they are dog friendly. Great outside area, off the street so perfect for my dog and me.

Definitely the closest thing to a NY style bagel that I’ve had in the area 😋 great variety of bagels and spreads! And to top it off the customer service was a 10/10. Sin was such a sweetheart and so helpful in recommending combos.

As someone who typically leans toward donuts and doesn't frequent bagel shops, I was pleasantly surprised. *AMY* provided outstanding service and went out of her way to help me craft a mouthwatering breakfast sandwich with eggs, provolone cheese, and salmon on a perfectly toasted bagel. Since that visit, I've become a regular! I find myself eagerly looking forward to starting my mornings with a warm, toasted bagel or enjoying a late lunch with their delicious tuna melt bagel. A heartfelt thank you to the team for their fantastic service and for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. It truly makes a difference!

We picked up a couple dozen bagels from Bagel Boss in Burbank for a family birthday brunch and everything was fantastic. The bagels were fresh, the cream cheeses were delicious, the lox was perfect, and the rainbow cookies were a huge hit. Great service too. They helped make our celebration extra special — we’ll definitely be back! 🥯🎉

The benches are perfect for a large group and it doesn't get too hot because the area is covered. My go-to spot for bagels in the area!

Was referred to by a couple of coworkers who are from New York to come and try this place out as they claim it to be one of the best bagel places in the West Coast! After coming back from New York recently, I can honestly say that this place is indeed one of the best bagels I have ever eaten in the West Coast! Not only does it have the best texture and taste... The staff is really helpful, friendly, respectful, genuine and caring! I felt right at home! This is what makes Bagel Boss special and amazing. I would highly recommend Anyone to come here to experience this rare gem of a bagel shop!

Every member at The Bagel Boss is enthusiastic, courteous, and friendly. This morning we had Sin take our order. She welcomed us with a positive and kind attitude and above all, a very enthusiastic smile that made our morning so pleasant. The setup inside could use some improvement though with the menus having drinks on one side and food on the other makes ordering a bit awkward, and it feels like it could be streamlined better. We ordered an everything bagel with lox and regular cream cheese, plus an onion bagel bacon egg and cheese. The bagels themselves were quite chewy, more than I’d prefer. While they didn’t taste bad, it wasn’t anything special either. There was a lot of cream cheese on the lox bagel, which some might like but felt a bit heavy-handed to me. The bacon egg and cheese was bland, so I probably wouldn’t get that again. We also had macchiatos, which were fine. Nothing memorable but nothing wrong either. Just as expected. Prices were the biggest surprise: nearly $60 for three people and around $30 for a dozen bagels, which feels steep for what you get. Overall, the quality was okay, and I’d go back to try something different, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending it to friends yet, especially given the price and the fact that the place is still finding its footing.

Heads up for anyone using Too Good to Go! I have twice been turned away at the store empty handed because they didn’t honor the pickup window in the app. The first instance I was given an 11am-12pm pickup, but when I arrived they said it was supposed to be 2pm-3pm. The 2nd time was yesterday with the 2pm-3pm pickup. I arrived at 2:10 to find the doors locked and a hand written sign saying they are now closing at 2:00. I saw employees inside so I called the number listed here on Google (also listing the closing time to be 3pm) but was told the pickup window was supposed to be 1pm-2pm and to come back then in the future. I am most frustrated that an effort wasn’t made to find a middle ground solution when there were still employees on site. Fortunately I was able to get a refund in the app, but definitely a frustrating experience particularly when I do not live nearby. Delicious giant bagels, and I highly recommend picking up one of their cream cheeses on the side! They even have the Dr. Brown’s sodas like you would find in a real New York deli. Great food, but maybe best enjoyed when paying full price.
