Love this place. Hands down my fav burger spot in the area. Ask for double bacon and extra green sauce. I come here at least once a week, they’re breakfast burritos are incredible. Highly suggested, if you’re ever hungry and want to fill up fast.

Love this small joint. The bacon avacado burgers with onion rings are good. And the breakfast burritos are bomb. I totally recommend. But it's a small joint so avoid lunch hours or order before hand.

This place is awesome. Tasty food, well portioned, and great price. Norms tends to great really packed and small parking area so i suggest to make a call in order. Breakfast burritos are the best in town. Hands down. Burgers are some of the juiciest I have had from a diner style restaurant. Sure there are moments where service is not up to par as usual but who cares? The food is great and thats what matters the most. The only bad side is that it closes at 4pm....its worth every penny. And to those that complain about not getting extra items, stop being so picky. I sure as hell am not going anywhere else just because someone did not give me extra salsa....To the employees at Norms, keep up the good work and keep on making those delicious items on the menu!

Everything here is so tasty and inexpensive! They are pretty well known for their breakfast burritos. My favorite thing to order is the club sandwich. The only thing that sucks is the wait, but I guess that's a good problem for them to have since they are so popular.

Norm's Avocado Bacon cheese burger is a must try. The bacons are not a thin sliced cheap stuff but thick and crispy with generous amount of avocado. I usually get the Double Avocado Bacon Cheese Burger. The beef patties are not frozen and have the right to be called a quarter pounder. Their breakfast burritos have been known for 40 years and have eggs, potato and cheese with different choices of meat. My favorites are bacon sausage combo and ham burrito. I always call 20 minutes ahead before pickup, because this place is always packed. Their prices are still unbelievably reasonable I don't know how they could keep the doors open.

We ordered the chorizo burritos for delivery and they were so good! The homemade tomatillo salsa they come with is definitely spicy! But also so delicious. The tortilla around the burrito is definitely homemade, nice and thin - unlike the ones you can find in most stores. We added beans to our burritos so it was eggs, chorizo, potatoes, beans and cheese. And it was just delicious!! It’s also large so unless you do have a really large appetite, you probably could split one. For sure will order again or go right to Norm’s when we’re in the area!

Breakfast Burritos are the best in Burbank! Staff is always friendly and professional. Much better than that other place in town that only serves burritos until 11:00. Bacon/Egg/Cheese is my favorite, but my brother likes Chorizo. Salsa is spicy, but great. Ask for extras.

Yummy! Chorizo burrito 🌯 is delicious and huge, don't forget the green salsa they make in house. The gyro is great as well and cost, under $6.00. Since the $20.00 hour wage went into effect, Norm’s has become my favorite place to eat. Norm’s has held their prices down while serving great food. Norm’s is a much better deal than chain fast food restaurants the staff is happy and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for everything from Breakfast to Burgers. The three combo meals are really filling and high quality.

Norm's isn't much to look at. Don't let looks fool you. I've passed by this place for years. "What a dive." Boy was I wrong. My daughter and I stopped here today for lunch. It was after peak lunch hour, around 1:30PM. It was crowded and there a line (good sign). The place was clean, no trash or greasy floors, sparky stuff was properly sparkly(good sign). There was a A rating in the window (good sign). My daughter and I got in line and noticed there was laughter coming from the kitchen(interesting). The cashier served two patrons and knew them by name(cool). While ordering our food I noticed that kitchen and prep areas looked clean(nice). The cooks were fast, efficient and smiling(nice). My daughter ordered the avocado, bacon, cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. I ordered a gyro and onion rings. We took our drinks and sat outside expecting to be called. Our food was brought to the table by a nice, polite young lady with a pleasant smile who bid us, "Enjoy your meal."(big surprise) The Food. First, there's a lot of it. Second, it's very good. The onion rings do not come from a bag. They are made fresh, from scratch. The meat in my gyro was grilled beautifully with nice crispy edges. The veggies were cold, crunchy and fresh. The cucumber dressing was either homemade or high end jar brand like Marie's. My daughter is a huge fan of a competing burger joint on Glenoaks and Magnolia. Same type of operation. She says her burger beats theirs hands down. It was well cooked, bacon was crispy, avocado perfect and veggies fresh and cool. Fries were hot, not too salty and the onion rings have already been mentioned. Normally I'd stop here. The young lady who brought our food came out later and asked us, "Is everything all right?" What burger joint does that? Five Guys. Islands sure. Not sure about Fuddrucker's... but a little Mom n Pop burger joint? This place is special. I'm going back. I want to go to a joint that knows what I order and says, "Hi Jack." Smiles and looks happy to have to have my business. I think it deserves 5☆'s. Sure it's older and a little divey and worn at the edges. IT'S CLEAN. The staff is not only friendly, they laugh. The customers laugh. They know their customer's names. They smile. They're very polite. They could give in n out lessons. They're fast but through. The food is delicious and you get everything you pay for. The prices are better than mainstream burger franchises. You can sit inside or outside. I felt good giving them my patronage. I want to give my return business. I want to take my kids there.

I will stop every time I’m in Burbank now. What a wonderful “secret” spot. Pastrami was in point!

I started coming here in 2017 and at the time The Breakfast Burritos were like 8.50 and now in 2025 They are only 10.50! This means it's only gone up $2 over 8 years which I love! Staff is always happy and helpful and Service is quick:) I recommend calling in your order for pickup especially for morning runs:)

Your classic hole in the wall spot, it’s been a staple of my time here in Burbank. Definitely love getting their breakfast burritos as well as the gyros. It’s a definite spot to choose if you’re looking for a well priced eat it up later location that doesn’t have much of the hoopla that a fancy place will charge you twice as much for.

Norm's Hamburger is a local burger joint and Burbank staple since 1985. It is a true time capsule with its letter board menus, vintage cola signs, and wood panel walls. Their burgers are fresh and made to order and their prices are some of the best in town. It was $11 for their double cheeseburger combo, which cost less than McDonalds combos and comes with fresher food and more generous portions. The staff is friendly, the food is fast, and the the atmosphere takes you right back to the 1980s. A few things to note: Ranch and salsa are 50 cent extra. Also, the drive through is a little unorthodox. Instead of ordering at a speaker, you call them on the phone using the number posted in the drive-thru lane.

We always get the breakfast burritos with no meat or the vegetarian burritos, both have eggs. They are always consistent and fantastic burritos! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that I wish they had a roasted jalapeno salsa instead.

Really great value. The steak they use has lots of flavor so make sure to try the burritos and tacos. Also the zucchini fry's aren't bad either.

This is a popular breakfast and lunch neighborhood fast food joint that I've been pretty impressed with. The breakfast burritos and burgers are popular and fairly priced....I reccomend the bacon/avocado burger. They make the best bacon I've ever had on their always-sizzling flat top grill. it's thick cut and always cooked perfectly, but no-frills. I personally like the club sandwich and love getting my daughter the teriyaki bowl. They have unique and delicious hashbrowns. I like the scrambled egg if mixed into the burtito, but I'm not the biggest fan of them by themselves. As with any grilltop cooked scrambled eggs, they come out overcooked IMO. I was underwhelmed with the chef salad, but that's my bad for attempting a healthier option at a burger joint. I recommend calling ahead, even for the drive through, as everything is made fresh. Also, despite the huge sign that says "breakfast, lunch and dinner," they are not open for dinner.

I had the ham breakfast burrito 🌯 it was very good, packed with eggs, ham, potatoes, cheese, and I had them add avocado. Ingredients were generously portioned and the whole thing was hit and delicious. Recommended 👌

I came here almost a year ago to the day with my lifelong buddy, Vernon. It was the middle of the lunch time rush hour (1:30pm). I ordered the cheapest and easiest item for lunch (grilled cheese sandwich). I was not disappointed (I definitely was not disappointed, being served one of those phoney grilled cheese sandwiches. Nope. I received the 'real deal'. Next time I'll try something more daring. Beware the lunch hour rush here on weekdays (12:30-3:00pm). This small place fills up very rapidly. In addition to dining indoors, they have take out / to go, too.

The salsa is the star of the show with just enough heat to stay with me for an hour or two after eating it.. I love it already put in the burrito. Great food and all, but what is the point in a drive-thru if people don’t drive through it? The number of times I’ve come to pick up a preorder through the drive thru, only to be held up by individuals who treat it like a pit stop at Bob’s Burgers, has reached the point where I have to leave a review because of it. It shouldn’t be abused in such a way that incoming patrons are left waiting for extended periods, which has become the case.

The Breakfast Burritos I got was "pre-made." Regardless, it was fresh and warm. The chopped jalapeno salsa is very good 🤘🤘

Sausage, Ham, Bacon pieces are as tiny as a house fly, lots of eggs and potatoes... Breakfast Burritos fillings NOT equally proportioned! I would like to bite into a piece of Ham, Bacon, Sausage NOT just taste it like if it was food flavoring!!!

They have a drive through, so I figured I would cruise through. There was only one car in front of me but it took about 25 minutes to get my food. There's no speaker so you can't order until you're at the one window, and then you wait for your food to be cooked, and they guy in front of me was there a long time with a similar delay. We have better technology, and every other drive through uses it. Also, when I finally got to the window, they just ignored me and nobody came for about 5 minutes. They have an online ordering link and call ahead ordering, which would probably be better, but the online menu link didn't work. I just tried to click it over and over, but nothing happened. The avocado bacon burger I ordered was very good. The fries had no salt on them so I salted them myself when I got home and then they were fine. I upsized to the medium drink and the drink I got was tiny and finished before I was done with my food. So maybe go for the large. It said the combo was 9.80, but my bill was 1370. I guess it's pretty pricey to upgrade to a still-small medium drink. You probably want to go for the large. I probably would have come back again for the burger or to try the burritos, but probably not worth a half hour wait

It's ok. Not terrible. Breakfast burrito was $7, had like half an egg in it dry potatoes, little cheese and was small, but had a huge tortilla, so it had a ton of extra bread at the ends. However, the green sauce on the side was amazing!

A friend said this place had the best breakfast burritos in burbank so I tried one. They are good but not the best. I prefer Apollos or Corner Cottage. Too much hashbrowns and they are undercooked. Too little eggs and meat. Got the bacon, was cooked fine, crispy, not soggy and not burnt. Didn't care for the salsa, only had green salsa, too hard to pour from plastic container onto burrito. Convenient to be able to phone order in and pick up at drive thru though.

The cashier mentioned the wait would be 45-50 minutes and 3 people in front of me left when they heard that. I decided to order and wait, ran and got coffee and waited outside in the rain to avoid the crowd inside. After almost 40 minutes I go in to check if it's ready and the cook said they called me 15 minutes ago over the intercom why didn't I come and pick up my order. I obviously didn't expect a 45 minute wait to be done in almost half the time, and I was waiting outside, not a single word over the intercom. Obviously they were just scaring people away, and now my breakfast burrito feels cold. Extremely disappointing when they are usually pretty nice. Food is good, but they don't care about their service.

I try to patronize the businesses in my neighborhood, but I won't be going back to Norm's. The food is so-so, the service is worse. The last stray for me was ordering a deluxe omelet and being presented with a club sandwich. Who orders a club sandwich for breakfast? (not many). To make matters worse, after making me wait a very long time, they were simply going to throw away the sandwich and make my omelet. I insisted on taking the sandwich and I did eat it because I hate the idea of incompetency causing waste.

The food is good and has a good price. They are always understaffed it takes forever to get your food. They basically have one girl working the register, waiting tables and running drove thru. If there is 1 or 2 cars in line expect a 20 minute wait. So don't go there if you're in a hurry. It's a shame I won't be eating there any more. I hope to read some day that they have decided to hire enough people.

Sausage breakfast burritos used to be 8$ now they’re 11$. Not only did they raise up the price, but BARELY even put any sausage in their burritos.

I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with Pico de callo, I received primarily a potato burrito with diced tomatoes and rubbery undercooked bacon.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I ordered on line through their website and it gave me a pick up time. Go there a little past my pick up time and they said it would be ready in a few minutes and they would call my name when it was ready. So I waited and waited and never heard my name. I waited for over half an hour and never heard my name call so I finally walked up to the counter and asked when it would be ready and they pulled my order from the back of a group of ready orders. How long was my order ready? Who knows but never heard my name called. Also it just seemed like no one is in a hurry to get anything done there accept the cooks. Not sure if I will be going back anytime soon. Which is a shame because they do have good burritos.

When I went there the waitress forgot to put in my order so I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for pancakes. Then as I was waiting I watched the chef's in the kitchen using poor hygiene and cross contaminating the food. Then to make matters worse, not 15 minutes after eating, I started to feel my stomach bloat and now I'm sick. I most definitely won't be back.

You can measure the burger beef party with a micrometer! Absolutely gross burger. Taste was surprisingly dry and I ordered it without special sauce, but that request went unheard. Onion rings were great. Service and taste/quality of burger was not. So dissapounted!!!

Decent enough food for a greasy char burger place that’s not very clean but the very rude asian lady should not be the person taking phone orders. If all you need is a burrito, you’ll be happy here. But if you want anything more complicated, and I mean anything, stay far away. Today I ordered a BLT with extra bacon, no tomatoes and fries. I got cold fries, cold sandwich with more tomatoes than usual, and a little tray of extra bacon so that I could, in my car, deconstruct and reconstruct my own sandwich. For $12, that seems like I’m doing a lot of the work. So, skip it.

The lady who works here never fails to consistently be one of the rudest people I have ever met. It’s as if her soul and scowl were forged with black steel and darkness in the depths of Mt. Impolite. It’s crazy to me that she’s still allowed to work here with that attitude, she makes you want to support literally any other business in Burbank. It’s hard to feel bad for the owner if he keeps the literal Grinch incarnate as his cashier. Go to Corner Cottage instead, the potatoes, salsa, and Wait Time are 100x better, recently I’ve also been enjoying Patty’s.

Saw the breakfast special and thought I'd give it a try. The best compliment i can give this place is , at least it's food? Eggs were overcooked and tasted off, no seasoning or anything. Hasbrowns had no flavor at all, and bacon was chared. Not going back anytime soon, its cheap for a reason.

Please don't get the beef burrito! Worst burrito I ever had. The Beef tasted like scraps of cheap steak that had been boiled. It was rubbery tough & full of grisle. Barely even a beef taste to it except for the greasy taste of days old beef lard horrible, so disappointing, as the breakfast burritos are awesome I don't get it????

Stopped in for a bacon breakfast burrito and got a potato burrito with bits of bacon and maybe a tablespoon of egg in it. Went up to order my burrito and the woman behind the counter gave me a burrito that had been sitting there already. I explained that I had literally ordered 5 seconds before she walked up and she said it was ready and that this was my order. I like my food to be made for me and not premade in hopes that someone orders it. On top of that, it was 95% potato and hardly any bacon or eggs. Won’t be returning here ever.

Worst customer service I've had in Burbank. The girl working the register has such a bad attitude and doesn't even try. I hope the owner can see this and make some changes. I will never come back or recommend to anyone. No welcome, took a call and joked with the cooks and really never acknowledged me. This review has nothing to do with their excellent food. When a business says they open at 7 A.M. they should be prepping and be ready to open at 7 A.M. this establishment completely failed in service this morning. Phones rang none stop soon as the clock said 7 A.M. and they didn't answer phones until 7:05 A.M. the woman who was working had an unpleasant attitude. She kept saying "wait just wait" quiet enough to not be rude but loud enough to be heard. When she took my order at the drive thru she was annoyed and showed total lack of service. When she was answering the phone she was being loud rude and acting like she didn't want to be here. This business has survived for decades in Burbank competing with corner cottage for title of "best breakfast burrito." For anyone who cares about service you will not find it here. The food is great. The service was a complete fail this morning.

Website says “closing soon” 3:00, arrived at 2:44, and cook says, we are closed, we close at 2:45! So me and 2 other customers had to leave, how nice to have so much money you can turn people away! And cook was rude! My last words, “ maybe you should lock your doors, oh and you lost a few customers”

Food is rushed and they don’t have good service at all..and you’ll be missing syrup for your pancakes guaranteed.

I’ve given this place three chances and would not recommend to anyone. The breakfast was terrible. How can you mess up that bad on breakfast? I ordered sausage and eggs. The hashbrowns tasted so gross. At first I thought they were over seasoned but that wasn’t it. They just tasted nasty. The eggs were overcooked and looked and tasted bad. Even the bread was dry and not good. My wife ordered the French toast and they tasted like chemicals. Never going back. I should’ve learned my lesson after the first time.

"THEY SPIT IN THE FOOD GUYS," I live like 50 yards away from this restaurant and wish this wasn't the case. After I asked about the quality of burgers and if it's real. The lady cashier up front said it's good and its real beef, but we don't spit in the food like the others do. I just looked at her like really did she just really tell me that. Hmmm. Yeah Ive even gotten sick from food poisoning at another location before.

I just want to share that this Sunday 2/9/26 was my very first time there. My mistake thinking it was the same as the one on sherman way and woodman. None the less was willing to try, unfortunately the hash browns were bad they were sour and acid, food went bad in storage I assume. At first i heard a customer somplaing and returning the hash browns, then my son offered me some from his plate as soon as I tried them I tasted that they were bad and spit them to my napkin... my son had already eaten half of them. My uncle had already taken a spoon full of them and was not in the mood to eat his eggs anymore he was grossed out. As we complained they offered us French fries and we declined. They never offered a refund. As we sat there another customer came in from sitting outside and complained about the hash browns. I will definitely not be returning!

Well… This morning was last straw for me. After waiting 20 mins for 2 breakfast burritos to go. I go and ask what happened to our order. After two mins of 5 guys behind the grill arguing they didn’t know. They find the ticket way off to the right and no one says anything to me like. Hey sorry. We missed your order but hey we’ll knock it out. These guys not realizing I speak and understand Spanish. Basically got back to pumping out the to go orders. I leave the fully paid for burritos go across the street to World of Empanadas and get good service and more importantly good customer service. Norm’s quality of service and customer service has been in a decline for bout 9 months now. Norms you’re dead to me. World of Empanadas Hello.
