To say I love this place is an understatement! The food is so delicious and good sized portions. It's a family owned business and it is very comfortable to dine there.
We came here many years ago and it was a mess. This time, it was great. Good food, adequate portions, good value. Service was great. We'll definitely be back.
The back of the terrace seat is the shop. I would be worried if there were no customers on the terrace seats, but that's not the case. Salads and pastas are delicious and reasonably priced.
Nice cozy spot in Burbank that is no fuss but all goodness. We went for dinner and had a variety of dishes. By far the best dish we had though it was the fettuccine alfredo. I cannot understand how delicious that thing was and was honestly in my top three of best fettuccine Alfredo's I have ever had in my life. Their pizza was nice portion sizes and dough was cooked perfectly. Also recommend trying their house specials, they know what they are doing. Overall a literal definition of hidden gem spot. Definitely will revisit if in the Burbank area again.
Ordered the ciopino, ceased salad, bruschetta and chicken Marsala and we both were so surprised how good everything was! The outside of the building is a bit dated and so is the inside but the food is homemade, the ciopino made to order. The tiramisu had a strong espresso element as it should be. Glad we finally made it and can’t wait to be back. The servers are great too! Service 5 stars, thank you ladies
This place is intimate, and delicious. Staff is kind and efficient, and food was amazing and made fresh, thank you so much!
Flavorful food with good portion sizes at a reasonable price.

This was by far the best Italian food my father and I have had in years. The waitress was on her A-game, as she was the only one working, but never missed a beat. Everything my father and I ate had a perfect balance of flavors. The bruschetta was delicious, and I appreciate the fact that you add the tomatoes to the bread yourself. The zuppa di clams was perfectly blended when it came to flavors and the clam was cooked really well. The gnocchi pesto was absolutely delicious, it was perfectly chewy and the pesto was to die for. The lasagna that my dad ordered was the best lasagna that I've ever had. I'm usually not a fan of ricotta, but the ricotta in the lasagna was delicious. The ragu was really good, and sausage was really tasty. The only downside of the meal was the bread that was brought at the beginning, it was a bit tough. Other than that, the entire dining experience here was fabulous! I definitely recommend.
It's not much to look at, but the food and service are outstanding.
Since right before the epidemic, I have been visiting here frequently, and the food is outstanding. The restaurant is spotless and comfortable, and everything tastes good. The meals are straightforward, as is the menu, but anyone who has any knowledge of restaurants will agree that this is a very good thing. Food is always well-prepared and of great quality. Great, rustic flavors are present.
Food very good, just had to wait longer than I'd liked, for pasta and meat sauce dish....
My 85 y.o. raised in Brooklyn father thought it was phenomenal. I agreed. Born and raised in NY, this place challenges anything I've had back home. CHX marsala & picatta were great. My dad had the ravioli... amazing. I had the linguine and clams....out of this world. Bread was great and the service was on point. Two thumbs up 👍👍
This place was so good! We decided to give it a try after looking at many other places we could go. We were not disappointed! My girls had the fettuccine and pizza, husband and I shared the Chicken Romana and the Lasagna. They were all amazing! I do have to admit my favorite was the Chicken Romano. It all tasted so good and was nice and authentic. We also had the chocolate mousse cake. That also did not disappoint. Everything was very reasonably priced as well. The staff were very polite and patient with us since we were having a hard time on what we should order. Isabella’s will definitely be a place we visit when we come through this way again.
My brother and I had lunch there today for maybe the third time this year, and I had to ask myself, why don't we come here more often? While the ambiance might remind you of a small midwestern restaurant/diner the food is delicious. My brother had the Chicken Piccata and I had the Chicken Marsala. Both were preceded with a nice green salad and fresh warm bread with oil, balsamic and parmesan. Both chicken dishes were served with a side of oleo spaghetti and were perfect. The service was fast and friendly and the prices were very, very reasonable, so hope to come back at least a couple of times a month. .
We made the trek to Burbank for Hobby Lobby this MLK weekend and decided to stick around for dinner. With my daughter, who is a picky eater, we decided Italian was the safest bet. We are so glad we went here! The kid's plate of spaghetti and marinara was $4.99! My kid ate almost of all. I had the chicken piccatta and my husband had the chicken pesto plate. Both were fantastic! Portion size was perfect. We left with a $75 bill before tip, and that was with 3 glasses of wine!! We decided if we come back to Hobby Lobby we'll make sure to make this one of stops too!!

Aug 2024 We realized the last time we were here was 7 years since we were here last. We ordered and were served with bread with olice oil and balsamic. The bread was good. Our Italian Salad was also good. Diced into smaller pieces, which is how I like it. The Mushroom Pizza was also done perfectly. Crispy crust and good earthy mushroom flavor. The Chicken Picatta was tasty, seasoned just right. I just wish it was breaded chicken. It tasted great, but looked like boiled chicken. Finally the Tiramisu was also wonderful. It was probably our favorite dish of the meal. The staff were attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a decent experience. 2017: Great service and enjoyable pizza. The chicken marsala was good, the chicken was perfect. However the sauce could have used some more wine. The calamari was also good, though the batter was a bit heavy. Really good was the marinara sauce! The best thing was the tiramisu. Be sure to try it.
Pretty good I liked there bread and garlic butter noodles. Spaghetti and meatballs was fine meatballs were kinda whatever and my friend enjoy the chicken pacatta. Comfort food vibes. Staff was friendly definitely interested in going back and trying something else.

Isabella's Italian Kitchen is a modest, family-owned restaurant that offers simple Italian fare. While the food is decent enough to satisfy a craving, it doesn't quite capture the authentic flavors of Italy. However, the service is truly exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff making the dining experience quite pleasant.

The staff was pleasant and they were nice. However, we placed an order for dinner and then people who came after us were served dinner. It seemed clear that our order had been forgotten and after waiting more than 45 minutes, our entrées did not arrive and we ended up going to another restaurant. Everybody was very polite, but it just was not a good experience.

Been here about 6 or 7 times. Food is great, service is usually great. Last visit we sat down to dine on 2 meals. Ordered another one to go. Was told that kitchen was now closed. Bad for business. Turn the to fire back on and serve the customers who are still halfway through their meal.
You guys were HORRIBLY rude to my friends! They called to make a reservation for 12 and they’re a a female individual who has REPEATEDLY been rude to my friends who have tried to go here. It it your choice to stay at that job or leave, but don’t make it hell for the rest of us!! We’re paying customers, and you run a business. There’s no reason to be rude to people trying to GIVE you business. You might serve Italian food but you’ve missed out on the hospitality, kindness, and warmth of an authentic Italian run place.
