I found it!! The best steak and cheese. Real ingredients, good size portions, quick and courteous service. This is my steak,mushrooms, onions and provolone sub. SO YUMMY

"Cheese Attack" Crew Special / steak, mushrooms, American, provolone, cheese wiz - 5⭐! I only recently discovered Philly's Best Cheesesteaks, which is a shame because I love cheesesteaks! Cheesesteaks are in my top ten all-time favorite sandwiches. The Philly's Best Burbank store was my second visit to one of their locations. They have over a dozen locations around Southern California and if my first two visits are any indication, they all are amazing. In addition to their robust regular menu, the Burbank location also has a menu board with a bunch of custom combinations courtesy of their crew. I love this idea and I knew I had to order from their "secret" menu. I chose the Cheese Attack, featuring three melted cheeses. It was very cheesy but the flavors paired well with the steak and mushrooms without dominating the sandwich. Honestly, this could be a standard menu option and lots of people would enjoy it. My sandwich was fresh, hot, and delicious. Consistent with the other location, Philly's Best places the cheese on the bread before they add in the meat. I don't mind cheese on top but I like that everything stays together this way without making a mess. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were quick with the order. Like the other location I visited, they turn their shop into a shrine for Philadelphia and they also focus on street art accents which is nice to see. It is in a small strip mall with limited parking but there is lots of easy street parking nearby. I am two for two with Philly's Best and I look forward to discovering more of their locations as well as returning to the two I've been to so I can try more of their menu.

Food was super fire and service was just as excellent. Closing crew on the day of 2/19/18(2 younger guys and an older gentleman) did everything on point and made our experience here one we won't forget in a while. Drove 30 minutes from Valencia and every minute was worth it. Will definitely be coming back to this location!☺👌

This is the real deal - about as close as you can get to a genuine cheesesteak outside of Philadelphia. Hoagies are great too. Fresh rolls are flown in daily from Amoroso's bakery (Phila). Oh, and they have Tastycakes!

Great food and pretty cool staff. Only my second time there but after the first i will keep coming back.

Did a Uber Eats last night (3-4-25). It’s rare to get a delivery order and the food literally give you a nice steam burn. Philly was pretty dang good, my only thing is it could use more Cheese( white American in my case). Fries were nice and fresh. Honestly for a Philly spot in CA, I can’t ask for more and will be ordering regularly from now on. Thank you to the workers and the owners!

I use frequent this restaurant every time I went to Burbank and today was my first time in a very long time stopping by and all I can say is : “ They hit grand slam “. To me if you are in the SFV and you want a cheesesteak Philly Cheesesteak is the best place to go. Philly’s Best Cheesesteaks in Burbank is the perfect place to satisfy your appetite for a cheesesteak. Their onions are top notch and cooked to perfection in my opinion. And if you’re in the west SFV area the Philly’s Best Cheesesteaks in Encino on Ventura Blvd is 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 as well. For the IE the Philly’s Best Cheesesteaks in Ontario off of Interstate 10 next to mall is another great 👍🏾 👍🏾👍🏾 spot as well.

Great atmosphere and service! The food there is delicious especially the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The parking is a hit or miss but there's plenty of street parking.

I fell in love with Philly cheesesteaks when I lived in Philadelphia. After moving here, I’ve always been looking for a good cheesesteak, and this place is one of the better spots to satisfy my craving.

My one complaint is that the serving of fries was very small. they need to double the serving of fries for my satisfaction. I was still a little hungry when I was finished eating my meal. On the good side the food was very tasty it was a good cheesesteake Sandwich

I was pleased with this place. The prices aren't bad. The bread was so soft and chewy. The meat was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was very good. I would definitely eat here again. I guess my only complaint would be that I wish there was more meat and cheese in my sandwich. But the other people I was with got the same thing and seemed to have more in theirs.

I felt the pricing was fair for the high quality meat, but the fries were a bit overpriced and not enough for sharing. Service was quick and efficent. Will definitely make this my go to spot when I crave a Philly cheesesteak. The image below is of half my sandwich because I forgot to take the photo before I started eating.

I've never been to Philly, so I can't speak for authenticity but their cheesesteaks are good. They won't blow your mind or anything, but they are consistent, have a nice toppings bar, and array of soda.

Pretty good philly cheese steak. My only minor gripe was that the image of the cheese fries displayed on the board looks so much larger than what they give you. They show you this large circular container with yellow cheese draped over the fries, I thought it would be large enough to share. I was super disappointed when I got home to see the world’s smallest bag of fries with a tiny cup of yellow cheese on the side. They literally look like a child size bag of fries and they charged me $6 for it. Definitely a rip off. But cheese steak was very enjoyable.

I went to Philly's best for the first time today. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak with Mushrooms and onions. The sandwich was really good. The meat was well seasoned and had good flavors. They wrapped the sandwich in foil, so when I got home the sandwich was still nice and warm. The bread was very soft and absorbed all the juices from the onions and meat. I will definitely will be back for lunch.

Used to love this place but on my last visit I ordered a wiz with and got some dry hoagie with mozzarella cheese? Not what I ordered and I was already to far gone to go back. Very disappointed, we were the only ones in there do better...

Had the classic cheesesteak combo. It wasn't good nor was it bad. It was meh 🤷‍♂️ for $20, I thought my meal would be bigger but I just left the place still hungry. People complain about the fries at in & out but these fries where hollow inside like you where chewing on flavored cardboard but they sure looked good.

He assumed I was taking my food to go. Like why not ask 🤷 did he want me to leave? I won't be. No tip either, other than "change your attitude."

We got pastrami and Philly cheesesteak it was really a disappointment what do you see on the pictures? Would you get it is totally different. The french fries had 10 pieces of fries in a bag and it was soggy. The portions are really small and it wasn’t good at all.

POOR Customer Service. The lady taking our order was so bad that we walked out before completing our order. Forward-facing employees should be the best the company has. If that is the best Philly's Best has then I'm worried about the rest of the staff

Disappointing, all these 5 star reviews must be related to the owners. The steak was SO DRY and not enough of a serving either, couldn't even taste the cheese, roll was soggy and wet on one side. Tasted mostly like bread on the edible side, ended up taking the steak out of the other side and giving it to my dog.

It literally takes one second to say "hi I'll be right with you" But no a conversation with your coworker is more important. Sad I wanted to try this place but if you don't value your customers then I'll give money to someone else

I have been coming here for many years, but this place has really deteriorated: The service: Young kids who are more involved in socializing than paying attention to the orders. Being asked to leave a tip. When my order was wrong and I had to drive back to bring back the food and request a refund, the girl kept the tip that was charged on my cc. It was clear from the atmosphere that there was no manager/ owner oversight.

Waited 40 minutes for the order when there was nobody else in line. Others received food before us and the food was cold after being out to the side as a to go order. I was asked why I kept pacing back and forth when they were 100% aware of the only people in the restaurant. That’s was fishy at Best.

He said thanks for the feedback didn’t say hey let me fix the problem let me give you some new sandwiches or a refund or a credit how can we make it up to you? NOPE NOTHING! Just a thanks for letting us know we suck, I’ll tell the cook which I hardly doubt I hope the owner cares and responds to this review such a shame! Phillys best ——try Phillys worst! 🙄

Fries were cold when I got my order. When I called, the employee told me to bring them back and they would swap them out… Pretty disappointing experience. The correct response should have been an apology and offering a simple solution—like replacing the fries on my next visit or issuing a refund—rather than expecting a customer to bring cold food back after they’ve already gotten home.
