I have been coming to Poquito Mas for over 30 years now and they continue to be top notch!!! They have a very unique taste that is unforgettably delicious. They were a corner stone of my childhood growing up in the valley with a few family owned locations with amazing consistency between them. It's a must have if you are in the neighborhood, on vacation or just want a great meal.

The best Mexican food in Burbank! The location is perfect and the staff is always friendly and professional. We’re almost always helped by Luigi – he’s super kind, attentive, and fun. There’s also a lovely lady at the register (unfortunately I don’t know her name) who’s always welcoming and sweet. The food is amazing! We love the quesadilla and the veggie burrito, but honestly, everything is delicious. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to Poquito Mas in Burbank since 2017, and it’s been consistently excellent every single time. The food quality is top-notch, and they’re incredibly generous with the meat, especially in their massive burritos, which are always packed and flavorful. Their salsa game is strong, with the verde salsa standing out as a must-try. On a hot summer day, nothing beats their fresh watermelon juice,super refreshing and perfectly sweet. The chef has been there for over 20 years, and you can really tell he takes pride in every dish. This spot is a true gem and never disappoints.

Stopped by here after visiting my girlfriend at the softball field. The food is fresh, the service was fast, the employees were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The parking can be difficult depending on when you visit. We’ve been a couple times already and will definitely be back to try some other menu items!!

This must be the type of little local well-loved Mexican restaurant that everyone coming to California thinks they will find. The food was divine and filling and their salsa bar was packed with delicious and fresh concoctions. I did not initially think this place would be much, but now I cannot wait to go back and eat my way through the rest of the menu! Oh!! Great Mexican food place on the fast food tip. They make the food fresher than going to taco Bell and that stuff. The steak burrito it's solid and has the normal stuff and guacamole (the thicker type not runny type). Plus I like the fresca's that they have (pineapple & cantaloupe). Definitely a good spot to hit up.

Went here on a whim as a nostalgic experience. Use dto go have burritos here all the time nearly 20 years ago. It holds up. Everything is the same. Great service. Great, fresh clean food. Nice salsa bar. Long lines and a who's who eating tacos and burritos. What's new? Smaller burritos and tacos options... And that's about it. This was only my second time going to a Poquito Mas, first time at this location. I can't say I was blown away with anything I can't. Probably the most standout thing was the quality of the Asada but the attention to detail with the meat cuts could have been better. Meat pieces was inconsistent sizes and some were lean the way I like and others too fatty. Tortilla tasted fresh and handmade. Hard to say if I'd go back though with so many excellent options here in LA for Mexican food but you could also do a lot worse.

The food at all their locations is consistent. The service at this particular location has not been great. This is my third time coming and the guy at the register doesn’t greet you. He doesn’t seam happy to be there. After ordering he almost throws the receipt at you. I also wish they were open a little later. This place is just okay for a simple snack, but overpriced for the quality of the food. The steak did have a nice grill flavor, but overshadowed by excessive cheese—we got steak quesadillas and there was barely any steak in them—what a bummer. We ordered guacamole and chips and a mountain of chips came, with a tiny portion of guacamole (see photo). It is a cool atmosphere sitting there for lunch but again, overshadowed by rude staff and the buzzer that never ‘buzzed’ meaning our food got cold sitting at the counter—no one cared to call out a number or let us know. A bit of basic care infused into this place and it could be a much better restaurant!

My husband and I were travelling through the area and had a craving for Mexican food so I popped onto google maps and found this place. It has over 1,000 reviews & 4.5 stars but unfortunately our experience was a negative one. The restaurant was clean and looked cute from the inside and the outside. parking is limited but you can find some in the nearby residential area so that was not a problem and in LA, limited parking is what is expected. As I checked out the menu and went to order, the lady at the register seemed so bothered by my presence as a polite paying customer who knew exactly what I was ordering. I pushed that out of my mind even as I paid way too much for Mexican food. Upon receiving my food, I noticed there was no salsa bar, no salsa given, and my shrimp burrito was HEAVY on the white rice. My husband's nachos had cheese that had separated and was only melted at the top while the rest sat cold at the bottom. His carne asada burrito was cold in the middle. He had gone to ask for salsa and we received salsa that was completely gelatinous and in no way, shape, or form, salsa. We were starved so we ate the food and immediately had stomach pains. My recommendation is to find any other Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles that won't treat you as a bother, won't sell you half cooked food for ridiculous prices, and has fresh salsa that hasn't been sitting around for who knows how long.

Unfortunately, this burrito did not meet expectations. The tortilla had more of a bread-like taste instead of a traditional Mexican tortilla texture, and the rice was very soft and lacked structure. Overall, the flavor felt flat and not very authentic.

I've been going to this poquito mas for 25 years. The food is great but lately I've noticed the staffs are very arrogant and unfriendly. It's just so sad that my home poquito mas isn't the same as it was. The drive is about 10 miles from my place so when i say home, i chose burbank over Studio City Poquito Mas. I ordered Tostada steak with no beans. When I received it, it was so watery at the bottom (it took 3 of their napkins to take the water out, bottom of tostada was so soggy). I showed it and the cook was very arrogant. When I came back to show my receipt, he had a tostada within 45 seconds. He had it up in the air and I asked if it's mine, just to make sure because he wasn't saying a word and he commented with a snide and shrug his shoulder " who else could it be." It's just really disappointing. I didn't make any remarks because i also had my child with me across at a seat and didn't want to loose focus. But I couldn't eat my food after that comment so I just boxed it and left after my child ate her taco. That cook has been there for as long as I've been going to this restaurant and it's sad to see him become bitter. Maybe it's time to retire! To the ownership, please check the video if there is, 8/13/25, 3:16 to 3:25pm. You should reevaluate your staff. This isn't the first time they were rude, they did the same rudeness to my husband the last time we came in. Thank you.
