Great customer service!
Simple, easy, and effective. I forgot my cup at the counter. The cashier was nice enough to bring it to me. THAT'S service which makes a regular restaurant an excellent experience. It may not seem like much, but the hospitality doesn't go overlooked. I highly recommend.
On the night of June 2nd, my partner and I visited this location. The kindness of the manager knows no bounds, treating my family with compassion in difficult times. To her superiors, give her a raise, she deserves it.
Food has always tasted great. Orders are ready on time. Friendly staff.
Great customer service. Jovan handles walk ins. App orders, etc with absolute courtesy and profesionalism. I gave him a tip, get good service then tip...Encourage others.
The best Yoshinoya restaurant I’ve been so far. I’ve been to maybe over 20 different location. But, of course sometimes it all depends on how rich I’m feeling that day 🤷♂️ I usually get the Combo XL with udon noodle instead of rice, and the teriyaki steak and salmon for protein with the veggies that come with the plate. I also ask for two packs of picked ginger and two packs of sriracha sauce. Set everything up perfectly and enjoy the meal.
Food is better than most fast food, but i went to try out their UDON noodles. They were out. Yes it was near closing, but the lady in back, presumably a night manager, just said, "We're out." Then she scolded me for coming 20 minutes before closing. I'm only writing this because my chicken and rice bowl was only half full. I mean, that's the reason we go to Yoshinoya....the overstuffed bowls!
I ordered the tray which is a great combo deal, one main, two sides, and a milkshake add on for $1 (normally $3). I got a dressed burger, onion rings andThe meal was filling and satisfying, and I liked having the option of sitting inside or on the spacious outside patio.
Girls that work here are sweet. They keep the place clean and running well. Great fast food that's a little healthier than most. Always consistent.
This is actually not a 5 star; it’s just to get my comment noticed. I always order a beef bowl with a side order of veggies. And I always ask for my onions cooked , because they always make them raw. And some stupid cook whispered to the cashier in Spanish that it would take 30 minutes. Well I’m not stupid and to grill a couple of onions takes a few minutes not a half hour.
The beef teriyaki chicken was delicious. The veggies were good, too. The pink lemonade was good. I appreciate the service here 🙏.
The place is real clean. Happy to be in a clean spot area in Burbank. Great place to have a business meeting late night as I’m real picky. My favorite go to spot for a good snack that I can eat later. I would try the Yakiniku as it’s only available for a limited amount of time. I had to get the egg rolls and combo plate.
The food and the staff are fantastic. There's a little bit of wear and tear in the dining room, but overall it's clean. It's probably to be expected as it was very busy when I was there. I would definitely come back.
My favorite fast food place, which is now rebranded as Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen. I've been going to this branch for years, and have been a Yoshinoya customer since the late 80's. Their original beef bowl with rice, traditionally known as Gyudon, always hits the spot if you're hungry for substantial, healthy, non-fried fast food. This alone merits 5 stars! Their chicken and other proteins are good as well, but there's a reason they used to be called Yoshinoya Beef Bowl back then. Make sure you eat it right away, as it tastes best when the thinly sliced beef has just been brought out of the pot, piping hot, dripping in sauce with the onions, dumped over the steamed rice. Add some pickled ginger and crushed red pepper for full-on umami goodness! They offer sides too: my fave is the clam chowder; and your meal is cheaper if you order the bowl with a side and a drink. Prices have increased, but the amount of food for the price is still enough to fill you up. This location has been remodeled, as have most of their branches in SoCal for the past few years. They look so much better with their wood (?) flooring and subway tiled counters. Wish my house looked just as modern. Parking here is tight, with a small, shared parking lot out back. Also, you have to ask for a token to use their bathroom on the side of the building, which you enter from outside. But thankfully, their original beef bowl is always worth the trip. 5 stars for the beef bowl alone!
Great place 👌 clean like always nice customer service,
Great customer service, clean and ample parking space.

Great place 👌 clean like always nice customer service,
Parking was confusing. The next door business started yelling at me for parking. Claimed disabled parking was theirs not yoshinoya. Suggestion: to clearly mark who's parking spots are for which business. As for the restaurant itself was treated with respect and understanding. The food was great along with the service.the only thing that was not was how the next door security guard was threatening and abusive. Please clearly mark who's parking spot belongs to which business. I had my placard on my car and parked on the side of Yoshinoya and facing the restaurant and was not on the otherside. Otherwise everything was as advertised. Reasonable, fast, and everyone was kind.
First time coming to a yoshinoya, super good and reasonable price, came here twice in one week, I'm coming back
Cashier's are respectful and helpful when ordering. They recommend the new and are honest when asked "What else is good" besides the originals. Cashier's/Employee's should be appreciated and not be mistreated just because they aren't allowed to give away more than 2 or 3 Ginger's. It's not the cashier's or other employees fault they aren't able to give away a Handful or a Full Bag of Ginger's. They are only following corporate orders. Also cashier's/Employees are not allowed to sell the Ginger. There are Markets that sell it if you want a bag or handfuls. So to all Yoshinoya lovers, Please be kind and Understanding. Cashier's/Employees are doing their Best to give you the best experience and food to enjoy. Especially during this Holiday season. Yoshinoya Employees are doing their best.

Tables rarely cleaned. Music too loud
In this economy, the combo bowl with brown rice is the most bang for the buck. And l like 90s dance music while dining in.
They had some workers from outside, something was broke inside , it was a hassle
Been a while since we've been to a Yoshinoya, the beef bowl is still the go to meal here. Looks like they're offering new items in the menu now. Parking is alright, service is great and seating is ample.
It is still one of my favorites However, the amount of food portion has been decreased again and again, and now it's much smaller than before.
Update 2022/04/12: Posted new menu prices I ate lunch here today, the dining area is spacious and clean. And the staff are friendly and professional. Food is yummy as usual.

Food is good but stingy with the rice and even more so with the beef. Then it is loaded with onions. Parking situation is horrible. Dialysis center next door takes up most of the spots and the medical van drivers don't care. Only come here when already in the area and have a coupon to get a bowl free
They skimp a lot on the rice which is weird because I imagine that is one of the cheapest parts of the meal. The beef was kinda weird and low quality but not too bad, steak seems like the much better option in that regard. Teriyaki chicken was solid. I did puke the next morning and I am unsure if it was from this Yoshinoya or something else but based on the weird texture and color of the beef and the fact it’s the last thing I ate before bed I wouldn’t be shocked if this was the cause. The mere fact that I am considering it a possibility that this food made me sick should tell you what you need to know lol. This is a fine alternative if Panda Express is closed if you want cheap fast food for somewhat healthy rice veggie and protein based food, but if it’s available stick to panda.
Very clean and empty during our visit. Teriyaki steak looked like chopped up meat, heavy on Teriyaki to cover no flavor. Skinless chicken was not even half a portion. Disappointed.
Mediocre sized servings compared to other yoshinoyas. Drink dispenser a bit dirty along with counters and tables. Probably won't be stopping here again

*update* Corporate made it right, I was still shorted vegetables but whatever. I was really bummed to not have all the food I ordered, It was a stab in the eye to do all I did to get a refund. I went up to 3 stars because I never should have went through any of this, I love the food at Yoshinoya, I have never had a problem. Thank you corporate for making it right! I made an online order that was made incomplete, my sister was in the area for family reasons and picked up the meals I ordered. I live 57 miles away from the restaurant. I ordered 4 teriyaki chicken bowl specials with udon noodles, this comes with an egg roll and small drink. A total of $8.99 per, I ordered an XL combo with veggies, a regular combo with veggies. When my sister got here all that was received was 1 chicken teriyaki special with udon noodles, the egg roll. No drink was included and my sister even asked about drinks and was told there was no drink included. That was wrong! I received the regular combo with veggies and the XL combo, the veggies were not in the bag. I am out $26.97 plus tax because the manager said he can’t give me a refund. I was expected to drive 120 miles round trip to get my food. Not feasible during a rainstorm! Make sure to check your order! I never leave bad reviews I am not a happy man!

Service here is horrible, they're under staffed, no one acknowledges you when you are standing waiting to be helped. I walked in w no one in line and waited close to 10 minutes before anyone helped me. The food is always good but the service is horrible. 20 bucks an hour and they can't provide customer service
Service was nice and pick up was easy. We ordered combos, rice, veggies, orange chicken shrimp, and another one with teriyaki chicken. The rice and vegetables had no flavor, and the shrimp and orange chicken I got tasted like it was microwaved and then they just poured orange sauce over it (instead of it actually being cooked/tossed in the sauce!). Honestly, this reminded me of school lunch teriyaki and orange chicken. The boneless wings also only got some random sauce dumped on it. I immediately did not like the taste or smell of it. We almost spent $30 on that but had a coupon to cut it down to $15. We wanted to try a new place and now we will definitely be sticking to Panda Express, 100x better.
Lived in Japan for a few years and was excited to check it out. The food is not Japanese quality at all. It was cheap, but there is a reason why it was. Hope one day it will be like the one I had in Japan.
This branch, on N. San Fernado in Burbank has fast, friendly service. I don't get why other people dislike Yoshinoya - I think it's awesome. *Edit: Recently re-visited, after having moved away from the area years ago - this place has changed: service no longer friendly [I'm guessing Covid had a lot to do with it], one must ask for napkins and condiments now, whereas before you could just help yourself. Manager was stressed and rude. Restrooms very difficult to access.
Reasonable price and food. Despite abundant seating, the interior and setup is more for take out. Some tired looking staff and (therefore?) careless service. Waited for a long while for a supposedly fast food place. Loud Music was blasting throughout the place most time when we visited.
Food is great, just don't much care for the homeless that loiter behind the restaurant.

I went to this location just about 20 minutes ago and waited and to stare at some ones back, how long does it take to take one customer order so I left and went to the sun valley location where they are very nice 👍 and welcoming, sad thing is the Burbank location on San Fernando rd the gentleman in the back wearing the glasses saw me and never said a word and he's the cook.
There's a very homeless sleeping in one of the booths. They messed up my order then he forgot part of my order & had to run out to the parking. They skimp on beef as well, compared to other Yoshinoyas.
i tried again today. absolutely terrible. ADA sign in front of a red no parking curb, why ? I waited at the counter several minutes while clerk bagged orders rather than take my order. Then she proceeded to confer with the other employee on a device and still left me standing there. Why ? I am ada. The coupon I was going to use had exactly same price as on the menu. What was the point of the coupon ? I'll try to remember to NEVER go there again. They did,nt seem to want to serve me.
I've been in this location about 4 times in the last 12 months but last Wednesday I ordered a combo of beef and chicken. The beef is hard and smelly. I had to spit it out. Even when I used a lot of red pepper the beef seems old, thick and poor quality. I have been to different Yoshinoyasp once or twice a month. This is the first time it tasted horrible. No plans of going back to this location anytime soon.
There is something seriously wrong with the cooking process at this location. I live in Burbank but I drive to Glendale just to eat yoshinoya at least twice a week. I thought that the Glendale location was just better, until I ate at a yoshinoya in Pasadena and found that their food was just as good as Glendale. The beef at the Burbank location is not cooked properly, it is all clumped together and has a wierd funky smell that is not present when eating at any other location. I ordered chicken here one time knowing the beef was bad and it was a little old and dry but still edible, the beef I'm afraid, is not.
Agh, I hate giving 1⭐, but I'm writing this review so the manager can keep an eye on the female cashier to not wear airpod while she's working. That's not nice at all and I won't feel good as a new customer if she takes my order again...
Regular customer of this particular Yoshinoya Burbank. I like the food, but have TWO issues. The putrid sewage smell that you refuse to fix is one - I don't know if that's messing with my food in any way. The second one is your FALSE ADVERTISING, which is a misdemeanor under US Penal Code 15, Section 54, and can carry hefty penalties if a community decides to involve an attorney for a class-action lawsuit (hint hint). You are stealing from your customers by charging them a price for which you promise an advertised product that you are not delivering. I ask for my bowl to match the picture on your menu EVERY TIME, and every time I am refused, with the excuse of "that's how corporate tells us to serve it". Pictured on the left is your advertisement, and on the right, my latest bowl, half empty, practically, You can see all the rice, and instead of the 22 pieces of chicken your menu shows and a FULL bowl of rice, the rice barely filled half of my bowl and I had only 13 pieces of chicken. So, let's hear what you have to say, Yoshinoya. What's your excuse for stealing from me?
The manager Lucio is a disrespectful person. He has no idea how to treat customers nor how do to deal with complaints. I called in to ask about the change that was not given to me by the cashier and as i was still speaking on the Phone he hung up Sir if you dont want to be there or be a supervisor why show up to work and why be a supervisor ? You should rethink twice whether this is a right job for you.
My second time here and probably the last time. I ate the beef bowl and I literally threw up. The beef was smelly and looked nasty and everything was old. Not to mention the customer service is terrible.
We’ve been to the Glendale location and they had given us so much for less. My wife and I are from FL, and we love yoshinoya because of the Glendale location. Today we stopped here in Burbank and they skimped out on portions horribly. My wife is a YouTuber and we watched our video from the last time we visited and it’s a night and day difference. My wife ordered a large no veggie and double rice. I went back and showed them there isn’t much rice and 7 pieces of shrimp. He acted like he didn’t know what I was saying and I said how much for extra rice and without saying anything he just rung me up. Then next customers, we’re charged .75 for teriyaki even though they already paid for it but acted like they did. I don’t like leaving 1 star reviews but if you can just go to another location.
I made an order for vegetables on the side due to dietary restrictions, but they put it on my plate anyway. I asked the cook to fix their mistake but he refused and just took the vegetables off. He continued to raise his voice when I told him I couldn’t eat the food if it touched and refused a full refund. Cooks name is “king” at lest that’s what he told me different never coming back. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Don’t come here! Honestly believe the bad reviews. We came in handed them a coupon for 2 beef bowls for $12 plus tax not expired.I’ve never had a problem with any store except this place. Tried to charge us almost $18.00 thought maybe he had not scanned the coupon and asked him to scan it again and he kept adding a drink to the order when we didn’t not order drinks. We asked him to review and fix it. He just looked as us like we were crazy. We walked out and went to zankou around the corner. It’s not about the price but the feeling that they don’t care about their customers and felt completely unethical.
I waited 25 minutes for 1 plate of food. People who got there after me got their food and for some reason I had to wait for the meat to cook. Makes no sense to me if the people after me got the same thing and did not order ahead. Wasted most of my lunch.
