Food was great. Asked for spice packet and was charged for three, but none in bag when we unpacked order. 2nd review after 4 years. First Online order with request for two butter; none in bag. Drink missing and asked for it but was told I didn't order one until I pointed at receipt. Didn't get MD, ended up with something other with no easy ice. Missed the mark on takeout bag, receipt not lined thru; no napkins/straw/plasticware; no drink had to ask for it. Looks like it time to drive the extra 5 minutes and get service that was ordered.

The manager there is rude, I didn't particularly enjoy my experience there, but the brownies and drink machine were good.

Ordered a chicken tender salad. They didn't tell me they were out. I received 2 side salads, dressing and 2 tenders. (Picture Posted). They didn't act bothered that I was upset when we got our order and I asked why it was done that way. They also forgot the roll with the fish meal I ordered for my husband, but they fixed that fairly quickly. Not impressed at all.

Gave ice cold chicken asked for it to be fixed Hispanic lady with glasses was very rude and refused to fix my chick and give me fresh cooked chicken ... very unprofessional This place needs to hire better people to work for them ...

I guess at some point we stopped giving lemon juice with the fish and only have tartar sauce. That's just gross to me. Definitely does not the same without the lemon juice. ... Catfish was also burnt as heck. Turn on link I've ever received catfish from Golden Chick that was just dirt brown

Subject: Formal Complaint – Poor Service Experience at Golden Chick Dear Golden Chick Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the service I received at your restaurant on September 15, 2025, at approximately 12:12 PM through the drive-thru. I ordered my regular meal—the catfish plate with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and the fish fried extra crispy. While waiting, I politely asked the server, Idalia V, for ketchup and hot sauce. Her response was extremely rude: “This is not your order, I need you to drive up.” When I later discovered my order was incorrect, I had to return. Upon addressing the mistake, she told me she “didn’t hear” my request for no gravy. I then asked for the manager’s name to note on my receipt, and she stated that she was the manager. Her demeanor throughout the interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. When I informed her I would be writing a review about the service, her response was: “Do what you have to do.” As a loyal customer who typically visits Golden Chick 2–3 times a week, I was shocked by this level of service. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning to this location. I hope you will take this matter seriously and address the conduct and training at this restaurant to ensure other customers do not have a similar experience.

Came through the drive thru. Ordered a 6 tender combo meal. Asked for the fries and chicken extra crispy. Got exactly 8 fries that were undercooked, not crispy chicken, stale rolls and watery gravy nit in a container with a lid so it was all over the food and bag. $16.50 for a bag of disappointment. Told the guy at the window and his reply was "it's fine". Wow. What a joke

This is what you pay for. Extra $ for sauce & it barely has any!! The amount of fries you get is insane!!! $13 for this…. RIP OFF

Don't go here this place is over priced and the portions are small. I ordered the 3 piece tender meal, very disappointing. I will not be returning, plus it took them 15 minutes to get my order.

Ate here frequently and it used to be great; now, it feels like a district manager came in, made "policy changes", and now they focus solely on margins and not the customer. Just flagrant gouging. Side quantities have become laughably tiny (small order of fries is $3 and my last order had fewer than 20 fries... more than 15 cents per fry) and lower quality (they changed the fries from their unique, batter-fried style to mushy, bland, school-cafeteria style). Worse, most of the food I've been given has been old. Rolls have been hard, fries soggy. Like they make too much up front and refuse to throw it out after it gets past best quality. Twice in a row, an item was left off of my order. Starting to feel intentional to maximize margins. So compared to 3 months ago, you get a smaller amount of old, lower quality food for the same price. I will not be back. I do not want an apology or a free meal. I want this method of conducting business to fail.

Just a heads up, this is what you get when you ask for a 4 piece spicy meal w/ okra…… three halves and an actual chicken tender with fries 😊 Not surprised!! Thanks Golden Chick!!!

Twice now we have shown up just after 8:00 PM. Their doors are locked even though their door says they close at 9:00. A worker comes to the door and says sorry we closed early to clean our lobby. That’s fine, but they should update their hours on the door and on google

I had to wait 30 minutes the other day. Twice they have forgotten the extra rolls I have ordered. Today my chicken tenders came with honey mustard already on them. The only reason I go here is because my son likes the chicken and rolls (when we get them). This location has gone down hill. Update: I gave them another try and waited another 30 mins.
