We had a great experience at dinner last week! Our server Lane, was on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be back!
My family and I have a consistently good experience here. The service is excellent - and Faith is an especially fantastic server - and the food is always well prepared. One time, I did have a rather gristly, chewy steak, and the manager came to our table to apologize and offer a replacement. I had only made a casual comment to my server and told her it was okay, but she took notice of the steak and checked in with management anyway, which was very thoughtful. Big fan of the strawberry lemonade, mac and cheese, brisket queso, and of course, the steaks.
Hands down the best steaks we've ever had. Both the ribeye and New York strip were tender enough to cut through with just a fork, and the sizes were big. The only negative we'd give would be the seasoning on the steaks was very salty, but he flavors were phenomenal. Aside from the delicious steaks, the item that stole the show was their hot honey roasted brussel sprouts. They were amazing as was their peach iced tea. Delicious! Everything was absolutely scrumptious. Our waitress Amber made sure our drinks were never empty and was super friendly and very attentive. This was our first time visiting there and she was helpful with our questions and giving her recommendations. We didn't have room in our bellies for dessert so we've decided we need to go back and check out those options. Overall we can't say enough good about this restaurant. We'd highly recommend going for sure, and can't wait to go back ourselves. Happy eating!!
My girlfriend and I went here for dinner on a Friday night, we showed up with no reservation and the wait was only about 15 minutes. Once we were seated our server, Sophia, was very helpful in picking which cut of steak and sides. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning in the future
Excellent! Service was quick, efficient and polite. Waitress checked on us in a timely but not intrusive manner. Thank you Amber for the great service! Food was great. Our party of 8 all got hot and tasty food at the same time (kudos to the kitchen staff) and my baked potato was hot enough to melt the butter! (it amazes me how often that's not true at other places). Be aware we were there at 3, so the lunch rush was over. Your experience may differ during the rush hours. Highly recommended, you won't regret it.
Phenomenal eating experience. We were seated promptly and the staff was professional and friendly. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The food arrived quickly, in spite of a large group being seated prior to us. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the flavor was fantastic! Started with the Wild West Shrimp, it was a plate of crispy, slightly spicy delight accompanied by ranch dressing. My t-bone could be cut with my fork. The mashed potatoes, baked potatoe, salad and the crispy and slightly sweet brussel sprouts were delicious. Their whole grain bread was warm and fresh. We finished with the strawberry cream cake that was so light and fruity. A perfect pairing for a big meal. We look forward to returning soon!
Our waitress was very nice. It was very slow, due to the time we dined in. My ribeye was...ahhh! It lacked flavor. They had no brussel sprouts on the day we visited. The " onion petals" appetizer was good. It was very cold in the restaurant, I could not take my jacket off! Still, not a bad place.
This was our first visit. Atmosphere was great. Elegant yet relaxing. We started googling the artwork to learn the history. The food for the most part was enjoyed by all, but my steak was over seasoned. Their slogan STEAKS DONE RIGHT was not accurate tonight. However, the appetizers were delicious as were the salads and other dishes we ordered. Above all we had a great waiter who built rapport and offered top notch service as we really enjoyed ourselves. The bill was higher than expected. In a competitive market, we most likely will not return. We prefer their neighbor for taste, service and price point. But perhaps you may like it better than we did. If prices were lower we may feel differently.
The food was great! Unfortunately, or server was not. Started off well, but she was not very attentive after out order was taken. My glass sat empty at the edge of the table for almost 10 minutes. We had to ask the food runner for a refill and they returned promptly. By the time the server returned to see how our food was we were about finished eating. She never came to see if our steaks were cooked properly either. We wanted a to go box for one of the kids that didn't finish but we works have more than likely waited another 10 minutes. We do frequent this location and unfortunately, for a Thursday night at 630 that was not busy the service was subpar.
The service was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is consistent with the name. Nice. The food was just ok. The center cut filet was not a center cut. It had a line of gristle in the very middle of the cut. When the food arrived it was clear it had sat and the food was barely warm. The baked potato was cold. A far cry from being a great experience. The temperature was not correct. We like our steak medium but it was too overcooked. I have visited your location Philly location. A world of difference.
We do not normally go to this location. However we were meeting family who had never been to a Longhorn. We did show up at opening, but it took a long time to get any kind of service. It was the day before a holiday so we understood. The food is a whole different issue though. Number one they were out of a lot of menu items including Brussels sprouts. 2 of our party ordered Ribeye medium well, one a New York strip and one smothered chicken parmesan. The New York strip and Chicken were good, a little salty, but good. The ribeyes were disgusting. They were literally in a pool of grease on the plate and so covered in finely ground black pepper they were inedible. We notified staff of the issue and the head cook came out with a huge attitude. Starting off by asking if we have ever been to a longhorn. I responded yes regularly for over 8 years and frequently ordering the ribeye. He stated we'll thats how its made. Then asked if we wanted a to go box for it "in case he likes it better later". He responded no just take the plate. My husband and MIL had planned to ask for a different menu item but after his attitude and acting like we just wanted free food we instead asked it be removed from our table and ticket. We have never been treated so incredibly rude by restaurant staff before. So beware going to this location. The actual manager was there and never bothered to come by our table either. If two plates are good and two of the same item are bad maybe take note something went wrong in the kitchen.
This place is not as great as I imagined the steaks are great but the service is terrible on a Sunday not sure if it’s always like this but the food was ok at the least steak came out burned but it was very busy manger made things right but it’s very unacceptable to leave the kitchen considering this is a high end restaurant but I guess that sort of thing is ok nowadays
Severely evident they were short staffed but service shouldn’t be compromised. Sat at the bar top for fast in/out. It was anything but. Used the restroom, no paper towels to dry my wet hands. Came out, food just served as I was sitting, after 30/45min waiting for it. Ribeye was chewy, steamed broccoli and steakhouse Mac was cold as ice. Asked for a fresh reorder, this time medium lamb chops, reheat my Mac (overheard server advising another guests the were out), and hot steamed broccoli. 30mins later, I just walked out. Restaurant was rather unkempt for them to have only opened 3hours earlier. I finally walked out. Horrible experience.
I came here last week with my husband to eat out after a weekend. My first impression walking into this establishment was the host who was a tall male standing at the host booth on his phone. When we walked in he never greeted us until 2 mins later of us standing there when he noticed us because apparently whatever he’s doing on his phone is more important then his job. When he finally did notice us he rushed us to a table in embarrassment. We had a server who we still don’t know her name because she never gave it to us or greeted us properly. A younger female. when she was taking our drink order, she seemed very annoyed and bothered, and did not want to waste her time waiting for us to decide what we want and kept looking at every other table, except ours. Very unhelpful with the drink selections btw. That was red flag #1. Red flag #2 was when she finally took our appetizer order, which was the Parmesan crusted fries and when she brought it to our table, it looked horrible. It was bland fries with a huge amount of cheese in the middle that was not separated did not look appetizing and looked like very low effort from the kitchen staff. when I asked if this was how the fries are supposed to come she just grabbed the fries off of my table and told me she’ll take them off the bill. She did not once ask us if we wanted a substitute or if she could do anything to make it right like offer us a different appetizer that we may enjoy. when we finally ordered our steaks, we specifically told her we wanted a side of mac & cheese with extra bacon because that is my all-time favorite side to eat with a steak. We made it very clear to her that even if it was an additional cost, we would like extra bacon. when the steak and macaroni arrived, it had no bacon in it. I asked her where was the bacon she told me that the mac & cheese is already pre-cooked premade and that it’s in there I just have to look for it. I’m sitting there going back-and-forth with her for five minutes, literally taking my spoon and digging around in the mac & cheese looking for any sign of bacon because she’s over here gaslighting me that there’s bacon in there when they’re clearly isn’t. and she finally reluctantly brings me the side of bacon I already ordered and at that point from her attitude and demeanor. I just did not feel comfortable eating at this establishment anymore because the vibe and service was absolutely horrendous. I have to call a manager over because I was just completely unsatisfied with the service and the way this server treated us. I wanted to make sure that a manager knew he comped our meal which I told him he did not have to do. I was comfortable paying for the two drinks that I ordered I just did not want to pay for the steaks because I did not touch the steak or the side of macaroni because I was too busy going back-and-forth with my server to fix it and lost my appetite. he told me that it’s no issue he’s gonna go ahead and comp the whole meal and also wants to take down my email to make things all right to me and to coordinate a better experience for me the next time that I go there. it has been over a week and I have not received an email or a callback from the manager Leon. I called again and spoke to Vicky, who is the other manager and she told me she was going to call Leon and make sure she reached out back to me which she never did. Annoyed that I was promised something that I did not receive i decided call corporate and speak to them on the phone and the lady at corporate has an option to see if they sent out any sort of compensation and there was nothing sent to me. She at first thought it could be a mistake, but there wasn’t even an email close to mine with a compensation sent out so what this tells me is Leon and Vicky clearly do not care about their customers or making it right it’s easy to comp a bill when it’s on the companies dime but to sit there and lie and say you want to coordinate a meal for me and a better experience and then have absolutely have no intention on following up.I won’t be back.
Each time we come here it seems like the service and the food gets worse and worse. Tonight I ordered a steak, a 6 oz sirloin. It looked more like a 4 oz, and it was very tough. When they brought my food they told me it would be another 10 more minutes before I could have my baked potato because they simply ran out. When the waitress brought the check, she didn't offered to compensate me for having to wait for my potato, which is also frustrating. Not sure we will be back.
My first time eating their food was this past Sunday. My family and I ordered out! I understand your busy and sometimes things fet left out but damn. I tried to call several times and each time was rudely placed on hold before I could even tell them what went wrong! I even tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and call when I thought they were no longer busy and still got pure rudeness! I will never eat there again and food ain’t all that! I couldn’t even speak with the manager! I tried calling yesterday and Jessica answered and rudely told me they were busy and I couldn’t speak with the manager. She also hung up in my face! You can be busy it doesn’t cost anything to be nice. Not customer friendly at all!
We came for dinner last Wednesday on 1/28 to celebrate my birthday. I ordered 9 oz garlic chicken, my husband ordered chicken with ribs, my kids ordered steak and burger. The restaurant wasn't too busy because they sat us right away. The waitress who waited our table seems didnt care to speak to us first i was surprised the chicken they gave me like 3 cut pieces tiny chicken but after I ate it's extremely salty that I couldn't eat them. The waitress kept passing our table but briefly asking to my boys if the food was okay. She didnt even stop and take her time to see if my food was okay. The worst thing my husband paid and forgot take his credit card back and we had fraudulent alarm from our credit card company for several transactions. My husband the last transaction he used was from Long horn, he even didnt realized his card is missing. Someone from there stole it and used that card. We spoke to manager and the manager asking if the stores can have the camera footage to provide the evidence. 1. Overpriced. 2. Mediocre foods 2. Bad service 3. Thief employee. We won't ever come back !!!
The food is usually pretty decent. The service is absolutely abysmal. Every single time we've decided to dine here, we've left annoyed by the lack of service. I am sitting in the restaurant as I type this. Our server "Juan" has not been to our table once in the 40 minutes we've been here. We've seen another server that took our drinks and food order (35 minutes ago) and said Juan was our server and would be right with us. We still have no idea if Juan even exists. We have drinks but have not been offered refills and still do not have our food. The food is the only thing that has kept us coming back, after tonight, it may not be worth it anymore. Do better Longhorn.
A group of us came in and 4/5 of the steaks ordered were extremely overcooked. I personally ordered a med-rare fillet, and when i got my steak it was brown completely through and looked well done. When asked for a discount because of how awfully cooked the steaks were, the manager Ryan proceeded to demean us, ignore us, and belittle our complaints. His attitude in handling the situation was extremely poor and child-like, I even heard him screaming in the kitchen after he stormed off from talking to us. The other customers that were near us could not believe how the manager was treating us and also complained about the manger, Ryan. I personally will never be returning to longhorn steakhouse or recommend anyone I know to eat there.
Only reason they got a One star is because the food, the only thing good going for this location. If you’re looking for warm hospitality and good service, this isn’t the place. We were trying to have a nice dinner before the bad weather settles in, but ended up being an uncomfortable experience. From the host catching attitude because we requested a booth, hearing the side conversations from the staff about the situation and the server trying to argue about whether we got a refill or not. The front house definitely needs training in how to treat and speak to costumers.
I used to love this place! I go there at least three times a week. But lately, the quality of their takeout has been really disappointing. My last three orders were so bad that I couldn’t even finish them. I ordered the shrimp appetizers tonight, and they were cold, soggy, and covered in grease. I had to squeeze them off in a napkin to eat them. Meanwhile, I saw someone else dining at the bar who ordered the same thing, and his food looked amazing. The shrimp were hot and fresh, not greasy and full. He also got more shrimp than I did. The steakhouse Mac and cheese was so dry that it tasted like I made it myself. I’ve called a few times and spoken to the manager, and they’ve been able to fix my orders, but why should I have to keep calling to have my food remade? So, now, I’ve just given up, and accepted my losses. Tonight, I spent $25.95 on two steakhouse Mac and cheese and the shrimp appetizer, and cousins eat,!’or enjoy them. I only keep coming back because I don’t have the energy to cook every day after losing my husband. I don’t think I’ll be hosting this location again because of the constant disappointment. I’d rather drive 40 minutes to the next one.
This location lacks integrity if we’re really being honest. Too many times I have paid for meals that have not been completed in its entirety and I have noticed this each and every time I have ordered their large tender meal. It is clear that it’s not a mistake and is done intentionally because they bank on people not counting or even caring, but that is unethical when you’re accepting FULL payment for half orders. This has been brought to the attention of management on more than one occasion and I have given them the benefit of doubt but my most recent visit solidified that they do not value feedback and will continue to cheat customers. The fact that when they are informed they stare blankly at you and have the audacity to ask “was that all that was wrong and what do you want me to do about it?” Well captain obvious, get me the correct order. Will no longer patronize this restaurant but specifically this location. Not to mention after spending well over $100 this is the sauce I received. Looks used and clearly not full. Worthless location.
Let me start by saying the food was amazing — no complaints there. But the service was absolutely terrible and completely ruined the experience. We were sat at 1:30 PM and didn’t get greeted by our server, Alange, until almost 1:50. That’s twenty minutes of just sitting there with no hello, no drinks, nothing. When she finally came over, there was no sense of urgency at all. It took forever to get our drinks — so long that our appetizer came out before the drinks even hit the table. The rest of the meal didn’t get any better. No refills, no check-ins, no “how’s everything?” — nothing. We had to ask for our house salads, and even then, the manager (Jordan) had to bring them out because we had been waiting so long. After that, instead of trying to make it right, our server’s attitude got even worse. I understand everyone has bad days, but this was beyond that. For a bill that totaled over $200, we expected at least decent service. Instead, our server kept disappearing, forgetting what we asked for, and acting like we were bothering her by simply existing at the table. It’s sad because we truly love LongHorn — the food never disappoints — but this experience was hands down the worst service we’ve ever had there. We left frustrated instead of full and happy. Hopefully management addresses this, because great food deserves great service to match.
Absolutely a terrible experience. It started with being ignored multiple times when I was standing exactly where I was instructed, & finally one member of management staff, Manny, actually acknowledged me and seated me. Whomever is in charge of ensuring sanitary menus dropped the ball because the menu had someone’s food inside of it, and I didn’t see it in time and touched it. This is my FAVORITE restaurant and this is my first time getting terrible service. My waitress. Alize, only came and spoke to me once in 30 minutes, & she most definitely displayed an attitude when I mentioned how long I’d been waiting & had not received any service. While I understand they may have been short-staffed, her response was off-putting when I simply answered her question and did so kindly and without malice. She proceeded to tell me how the two tables next to me had just gotten drinks in a tone I didn’t appreciate. My husband, whom she didn’t know was on the phone, even asked why she seemed to be offended & got rude when I calmly I answered & expressed I hadn’t been served when she is the one who finally came up and asked. I’m a big tipper, but this is why I tip based on service only. The waitress, Alize then brought the complimentary bread to the table without saying a word to me about 10 min later. No plate or anything just sat it on the table and left. I was so disgusted at how poor the service was, I quietly and patiently just waited for my food so I could leave. I can’t say I would ever come back to this location which is unfortunate because it’s extremely close to our home. Service from Kenny & Manny (not even my actual servers) was 10/10, FIVE STARS!! They were polite and actually acted like they saw me sitting in human form in their establishment. *Edit. Kudos to management for making the ticket right after seeing all the blood in my steak after management specifically instructed the cooks well done w/ no red. I would say speak to waitstaff about being polite to customers even when they are overworked because just as I spoke with kindness and I exhibited patience, I didn’t expect my first correspondence with my actual waitress to be rude. Alize provided me terrible service, and I was very offended with how quickly she became rude, especially after I was polite to her after not even knowing she was my waitress for over 30 minutes. Lastly, thanks Vicky for being so kind and assisting me when the waitress took a ridiculous amount of time to ever return to the table, and still returned with the same attitude. My advice to the waitress is please don’t mistreat patrons because they have received less than normal service and answer honestly without even an ounce of malice or rudeness. My treatment was not okay. Manny, thank you for attempting to bridge the gap in service.
