My friend and I came for lunch on a Monday afternoon. I was looking for a restaurant in the Johnson County area with food and cute drinks. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very kind. Our waiter, Jaime, was very attentive to our requests. The food was really good, and definitely more authentic than other Tex-Mex places. I had the picadillo enchiladas which surprised me because they were actually good. The margarita drinks weren’t overly sweet and had a good alcohol balance. The bathroom was very clean and made me feel like the kitchen was as clean or more. Overall recommend this place for food and cute drinks with the girls (and family too).

My wife and I have been coming to Rio Mambo for several years, but this location in Burleson is phenomenal. The past two times we have had Skipper as our waitress and she has done an incredible job! Her attention to detail, and friendliness has been amazing. Definitely will be back in the future!

Today was our first time at Rio Mambo, and we absolutely loved it! I got the chicken & steak fajitas (100% recommend) and my fiance got the chicken enchiladas. The food was amazing! Especially the chicken fajitas! Additionally, we had the sweetest and kindest waitress named Skipper! She was attentive and very timely! Hope to have her again when we come back. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great dinner. My family and i were a party of 6 and dined between 145 and 330. I can't remember our servers name. We sat in the area next to the entrance. The server was on point with everything. We had a very good appetizer. Table side guac, my husband and i had the trio and both of us were hsppy with the meal,it was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely dine there again.

I judge American restaurant by its basics... salsa, chips, queso and enchiladas. We were not disappointed! All were delicious. The refried beans were really creamy. The rice was great. The greeter was very nice. Our server, Erikca, was super nice and friendly. Very satisfying meal!

Every time we go to Rio Mambo, it is a pleasant experience, but this time we had Cameron as a server and he was phenomenal. He was very personal and the right amount of attentive! He spent time helping us figure out what to order since we wanted to change it up this time, and his suggestions were on point. The food was delicious as usual and didn’t take long to get to the table :)

Our family came to dine a few weeks ago for a family member’s birthday. We were seated immediately even though we had a big party. Lola was our waitress and she was fantastic. We had such a great experience at the restaurant thanks to our server, Ava! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. Her timing was perfect—always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. She made excellent recommendations and really added a personal touch to our evening and even shared some laughs with us. Ava’s service truly stood out and made our visit that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit!

My wife and I were very well taken care of. The manager came by the table several times and even gave us a gift desert for our 30 year anniversary. We felt and were treated like we were important. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very tasteful and clean.

Pearla was excellent as a waitress. She took time to ensure everything was refilled and made sure our orders were correct. Pearla was great to speak with and ensure to make sure our time there was comfortable. I recommend her when you go. Incredibly mid tex mex food. It felt like there was no spice in the food because people in the area couldn't handle a "kick". I tried the tamales, the enchiladas, and a chalupa. The best part was the charro beans (which they call bean soup).

Nice atmosphere with attentive staff, but the food is average tex-mex. The refried beans looked and tasted no better than what you'd find in the grocery store. The tamales were good, but also average. I huge downgrade comes from their knowledge of common allergies; in this case, gluten. We asked for a gluten-free menu. Not a huge deal if they don't have one, because you can usually count on the manager to know. On this occasion, the manager said, "Everything is gluten-free but the meat sauce." We found that uncommon, so we asked for clarification. He said nothing else is made with sugar. Gluten-free does not mean lack of sugar. It is imperative that managers understand the basics of common allergies. This one did not.
