Bastante bueno el lugar, cocktails muy ricos y comida tambien!

Excelente cocina!

De mis favoritos todos los años. Sin duda el restaurante más caro de Cabo, pero lo vale. La comida siempre está a gran nivel. Las doraditas son imperdibles; esta vez probé un toro con caviar muy bueno. El único plato que se quedó un poco corto fue el black cod: no estaba mal, pero tampoco destacó. Estaré pronto de regreso.

Delicioso, la comida y la bebida excelente, postres wow! Me faltan estrellas para calificarlos, me encantó la tarta vegana y el tamal de chocolate con helado de tonka.

Comal sin lugar a dudas, es una de los mejores restaurantes del destino. El chef Mucharraz verdaderamente logra una fusión de ingredientes locales en toda su variedad, los platillos son exquisitos con sabores y texturas muy interesantes tendrás un festival en tu paladar. Y la cocteleria fabulosa, si gustas de un buen vino Francisco sommelier te hará el maridaje perfecto.

Excelente restaurante para un desayuno o cena con una excelente vista panorámica hacia el mar, una experiencia única y agradable, servicio excepcional 100% personalizado, personal muy profesional con su trabajo, en pocas palabras excelente.

El menú y platillo excelente, el lugar la vista entiendo que por su ubicación no sea más asequible, lo malo es que el chef ejecutivo se haya ido a presentar a la mesa en short camiseta y tenis, cosa que me pareció bastante de mal gusto.

We have tried many of the upscale restaurants in San Jose del Cabo. Flora Farms, Acre, Ballena, etc. Although we had to drive a bit further south to visit Comal, it was SO worth it. The food was remarkable. Our large group of 9 ordered many dishes and none of them disappointed, from appetizers to dessert. Expect to spend a bit more…for us, that was around $150/person with a cocktail or two. Service was excellent. Property is magical. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful dinner for two at Comal. Atmosphere is spectacular and dining area was comfortable and relaxing. Several standout dishes including the smoked tuna tostada, wagyu beef cheek and blue shrimp. We also had the ribeye quesadilla but would not order again (was more of a large taco with little cheese and was lukewarm). Great wine by the glass selection. Service was attentive, friendly and responsive. It’s not inexpensive. One thing we found odd is there was a 15% service charge added to the bill but we were told it was a “resort fee” and asked to leave additional gratuity for “the restaurant staff”. This seemed off - paying a combined 25% service charge on top of a $350 dinner feels excessive.

Dining at Comal was an unforgettable experience. Located atop a cliff at Chileno Bay Resort, the setting is absolutely stunning and picturesque! The hospitality was top tier from the moment we arrived. Our server, Yobani, was amazing. He not only provided excellent service but also took the time to get to know us a little, which added such a thoughtful personal touch. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and it really felt special. The food and drinks were phenomenal. We started with the rib eye quesadilla, which was flavorful and delicious. For my main course, I had the grilled blue shrimp with black garlic. Chef's kiss!!! To end the night, the chocolate tart with salted caramel ice cream was perfect. Everything from the ambiance, to the service and courses were exceptional.

Food & wine with a view. It’s a beautiful location. Mexican food paired with Mexican wine, amazing gastronomical experience. Two different shell fish- Chocolata a la Diabla y Callo Margarita- amazing flavors. Supremely tasty dish whose creation must come from a genius foodie- Kastakan-perfectly cooked octopus with pork belly and pork rinds. As a main we shared Roasted Chicken Breast, we followed the server’s recommendation.

Truly amazing hotel restaurant in Chileno Bay Resorts. The food was outstanding, presentation, textures and flavors all carefully combined to make each dish a work of art. The atmosphere of Comal is also quite something, perched atop a cliff at Chileno beach the decor is stunning. Comfortable seating, beautiful architecture and amazing lighting all come together to create a romantic environment. The staff at Comal are also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Do plan ahead with a reservation as the restaurant is with the gated community.

Comal Restaurant in Cabo is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning scenery. The menu is nothing short of exceptional. We started with the Grilled Octopus—perfectly tender and flavorful. For the main course, the Short Rib Barbacoa was an absolute standout, slow-cooked to perfection and bursting with rich, smoky flavors. The Tuna Tostadas are also a must-try—fresh, zesty, and beautifully plated. To pair with the incredible food, the cocktails were equally remarkable. The Mezcalita de Piña was my personal favorite—smoky, tangy, and refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The Comal Margarita is another standout, a sophisticated take on a classic with a perfect balance of citrus and tequila. Comal is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience that engages all the senses. Romantic, luxurious, fine dining with breathtaking views. Comal offers the epitome of resort Mexican dining and the food was some of the best we’ve ever tried. Situated right on the coast you have beautiful views of the ocean throughout. The food is delicious, fresh, and a must try in Cabo. We were fortunate to be staying at the resort so we could dine throughout the trip without hassle. The chefs make sure to accommodate your dietary restrictions to the best of their ability. The husband was even able to enjoy gluten free churros. (Super delicious) Highly recommend!

By far one of our favorite restaurants in Cabo! The food, service, and views were spectacular. The wagyu barbacoa & snapper were both fantastic. If you like spicy ask for their hot sauce, it's definitely got a kick! After dinner you can enjoy a drink by the fire pit. Can't wait to go back!

What an exquisite place. From the moment we arrived, the experience was just excellent. Very attentive team (Leslie was a brilliant server) and the decor of the space is stunning. Live music to accompany the evening as well. We had the short rib starter and red snapper, along with the green salad — all of which were delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone here on vacation.

I have been eating food for over 47 years and our food here was the best I have ever had. I should have known something was afoot when a rainbow appeared right as our cocktails were delivered. We had an amazing dining experience and highly recommend a visit if you are in Cabo.

Beyond delicious from start to finish. If you are anywhere nearby, or just passing by, do yourself a favor and hit the brakes to enjoy this restaurant. Situated right on the edge of a beach, perched on a stone outcrop, your experience awaits with beautiful views, tranquil sounds and out of this world tastes! Be sure to come hungry and you'll leave extremely happy! We WILL be back, no doubt!

It was a great experience from. The minute you walk in with the spectacular views and outstanding service you feel like you are at home. We ended up trying a few of their cocktails and mostly ate off the small plate menu because there are so many delicious options that we had to try. The two dishes that stole the show were the Duck Carnitas Sope, the combination of citrus with the ducks fat was incredible,but not to take away from the vessel itself the sole help its form and complimented every bite. From the cold dishes the octopus ceviche was fantastic make a taco out of it you won't be disappointed. Tender octopus with crunchy chicharon. Definitely the way to go. We will be back again to try the entrees I am eyeing the wagyu Barbacoa.

El lugar es hermoso. La calidad de los alimentos excelente. Lamentablemente el servicio deja mucho que desear. El desayuno tardo más de media hora en llegar y estaba frío. El mesero nunca regresó a ver si hacía falta algo durante el tiempo que estuvimos ahí.

Went for New Years dinner and it’s a beautiful restaurant that probably is more amazing to visit for lunch when it’s light, but amazing food. It was however very difficult to talk due to very loud live music that wasn’t really that great to be honest..

Great place. Order the roasted chicken dish, it was the best roasted chicken I have ever had at a restaurant. Ever. Period. The environment is beautiful, our table was right next to the ocean so we had a beautiful view. Did I mention you should order the roasted chicken dish? Service could have been better for being a 5 star restaurant though.

Rico pero super caro. Los platos principales costaban entre 1.000 y 3.500 pesos. En Cabo San Lucas puedes encontrar restaurant tan buenos como Comal por un precio bastante mas razonable.

We loved the ambiance and service of this restaurant. We were here last night to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The food, while delicious, unfortunately made us extremely ill. All three of us were up all night making numerous trips to the bathroom. I believe it was either the scallop tostada or the tuna and abalone. Again, the taste of the food was good, but there was something very wrong with the food preparation process that made us so sick. Please beware and perhaps avoid eating uncooked food at this restaurant! Sad to have spent $475 on dinner for us three only to flush it all out that night 🤢🤮💩

Updated review - Previously 5 stars! My friend went to the toilet towards the end of the meal to wash his hands! And accidentally left his iPhone and wallet on the side of the sink with 600$ inside the wallet. He returned to the toilet less then 5 minutes later and it was gone! We decided to ask foe cameras and security looking everywhere for it (we were 6 people so you can imagine the intensive search). After an hour, when they realized that were not giving up and not willing to leave, one of the security guards told the other staff member to secretly return the stuff and he’ll distract us - not knowing we speak fluent Spanish. Suddenly, the staff member came back saying - have you looked there on the toilet (where my friend didn’t even go into). And there it was - the iPhone and the wallet minus the 600$. The staff ganged on us trying to steal from us! I am still shocked that this would happen in a place like that!!!!!
