Velas 10 is one of our favorite restaurants at Grand Velas. We have had dinner there twice on two different stays at Grand Velas Boutique and we highly recommend it. Great staff, atmosphere (love the outside area) and steaks!

We wanted to have one night at a fancy restaurant with a great view and we picked a winner. Velas 10 is located inside the Grand Velas Hotel, not to be confused with Vela which is located inside the Hilton. Give yourself some time to get to the restaurant bc there is a path to get there. No one will escort you, but they will point you in the right direction. Prior to arriving, I received a message that said they would only hold the table for 15 min (we were 5 mins late at the time). The restaurant has indoor and outdoor space; outdoors is the way to go as it’s very scenic, overlooking the beach. The food was really good and offered ingredients of high quality; everything we had was very tasty. Shockingly, not too pricey either. I think the corkage was $20 or $25, so we opted to bring our own bottle, however in the end, we were not charged for it. David was our server, and he was great. It was semi busy, but he was always available and very attentive. Note: Dress code was NOT enforced as far as we could see. I saw plenty of men in shorts and I saw some very scantily clad outfits. I would not test the waters on a weekend, but maybe they are just more flexible on weekdays, as we dined on a Monday.

Best view of all the restaurants in the resort. Eat on the patio to witness sunset. Bone marrow, octopus, raw tuna and steak were our favorites. Service was perfect. Do have a kids menu if needed.

This place is definitely very top-notch! The tomahawk steak was the best steak I've ever eaten along with the bone marrow app and the raw tuna. What a treat!

Beautiful resort with exceptional amenities designated for families with kids. There are activities for kids almost every hour and babysitters are available for a reasonable hourly cost. The sitters are excellent with kids. Highly recommend to families with young children.

OMG!! Grand Velas 10 is the best steak and seafood restaurant I've ever been to! My wife had the New York strip and I had the Tomahawk steak. They were so good, we had to finish them. The sides are just the right size and the fish is to die for!. Like all the restaurants at Gran Velas, the staff is exceptional - attentive, friendly and so very very kind. I highly recommend Velas 10!!!!!

Service was excellent. Atmosphere would have gotten five stars but they permitted a small group of drunk men to be loud and obnoxious, which just took away from the tranquility in what is a beautiful setting. The food was disappointing. Even one of the drunk guys sent back his steak.
