This place is a real hidden gem. All the Hofbrau's on tap, tender steaks, the best.
This is by far my favorite Steakhouse. Although their are other locations my preference is the 🥇👌Calverton👌🥇 location. If you decide that you are interested try to get there before the crowd, because it can and will get packed and you'll have to wait for a table. If you have to wait it's still worth it. And if you see the beef ribs on the days special board go for it. Their awesomely 🤪😋delicious 😋🤪 and so are their other 🥇steaks 🥇🥩👌 🥩🤯🥩👌🥩😋🥇👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌🫶🫶🫶
Tiffany is very sweet , a great waitress!!
Best food for the buck. Everything is excellent.
Very good food and service. We were a party of ten, and we were served drinks and meals in a very reasonable amount of time. The wait staff was attentive.
Very kind hearted servers with excellent service for Mother’s Day weekend dinner despite how busy they were. Gretel the dog 🐶 agrees too
Excellent lunch menu. Good prices. Delicious sauerbraten friendly wait staff.
Went here after a funeral and was surprised to be seated right away considering a party 15 . Food was excellent. One from our party complained alot but theres no satisfying some people. Staff was pleasent and the manager quickly fixed our sticky whickets Issues. Great place great food. I will be coming again
We had a party of 7 and our waitress was very good at her job. The prices were reasonable and the food was awesome. If we ever come back to visit we would definitely dine there again
My parents have been going here for years, and I've went once or twice before when visiting them. We went for my father's birthday and it did NOT disappoint. Such a good deal cost-wise, but the food was splendid! Bravo to the chefs in the kitchen in the late afternoon on a Saturday! I had the sliced filet mignon lunch special and it melted in my mouth like drops of heaven. We all loved our food and the server Tiffany was fantastic. What a wonderful outing!
Thank you Ken the cocktails were perfect! Andy we appreciate the creamy desert NY cheesecake! Our favorite steakhouse on Long Island! Yasou! Dee Dee and Ponajoties!
We went a few weeks ago and I didn’t post but, our waitress was so attentive and the food portions for the price was omg. Huge!! Food was delicious.
A lot of food for the price! Everything was hot when it came out. Ken was a wonderful waiter. We will be back!
Waitress the best. People friendly. Food horrible. Rubber meat. How do you mess up a berger.
Apparently, this restaurant is known to the local residents. It is a steakhouse and bar. It is a family type of place. The staff is efficient and effective. They work well together. 12 Oz steak was the smallest steak, so make sure you go hungry. It also has a German overtone. The pretzel could be a meal all unto itself. I'll return.
Great food and service at reasonable prices.
Great food and waitress was great. Great reasonable prices
The service was very good we had Maria VB The food was above par but at lunch it was very loud. Not great for conversation
You can't get better food for the price. They also have authentic German beer on tap. This is one of the few places where I will eat a steak because they cook them just as good if not better than me. I have a customer near the restaurant and eating here makes putting up with the traffic bearable.
Place was packed and our waitress had quite a few tables but handled each and every one of them! Food was outstanding as was the specials they had. Great decorations for the season and just a beautiful restaurant in general.
Always a consistent and delicious choice to anyone's day. The evening hours are full of people but the wait time is amazingly quick.
I've been eating at JnRs for over 25 years. Consistently great food, fabulous portions, and friendly atmosphere.
Steak houses are known to be pricey, but I feel they always have great specials at the Calverton location that I go to. My mom loves prime rib, so I treated her to dinner. For $30 she got this beautiful 20oz cut, an app, a salad and dessert. I got a 20oz marinated strip that also came with all the things. You can't ask for more. Everything was delicious as always
Great service from start to finish, good sizes, we ordered a few dishes and they were all good
Love this place we go a few times a month good food and Cynthia is friendly and attentive waitress
Our waiter, Ken, was fantastic, relaxed and welcoming. I swear he was almost floating around the dining room with how comfortable he was. My cousin had the sirloin which I had a piece of. Melt in your mouth, fantastically seasoned as well. My prime rib was perfect, same compliments. Deserts were lovely and the drinks were great as well. Will return when I’m back in town!
Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find a price fixed menu that offered all kinds of steak with 2 sides salad and dessert. Modestly priced with good sized portions Service is excellent. Worth the trip
My family loves this restaurant. The hostess Joann is so nice. The servers are all so nice. I would highly recommend.
I had such a great experience tonight and the waiter was nice the food was great 👍
very consistent food great for prime, rib, and beer, specials, fair, and reasonable pricing
Food is great. Got a table right away.
We were out celebrating a birthday and this was the perfect spot for it. We were a group of 10. The service was great, food was delicious, and the birthday guy enjoyed the celebration. 1 of our steaks did come out a little over cooked but the staff showed a desire to get it right and re-made it. We will go back next time we're in town.
Amazing place. The waitress was great and attentive. I ordered the half rack of ribs which came out promptly and was delicious. The place was busy but there was no delay to the service. 100% recommend.
Absolute value meal. Solid steak for very fair prices. Ask for Alyssa she was amazing and so friendly. She gave us fantastic service and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!!
One of my go to places for my wife and I. They have an excellent October fest menu.
Me and 33 other people wo came with me love J&R's. We have gone to you for the past 10 years in January with most of the people that play Military Bridge with me every Fridays. They all say they love the food and love the staff that work hard to make sure we are happy. We love J&R's
Great food. Servers are always great.
Comfortable atmosphere....had the sauerbraten with red cabbage...delicious !! Also the corned beef Reuben. Piled high, tasty & flavorful!! Had beer on tap....big mugs !! Prices are very reasonable !!
I have been a loyal J and R customer for over 30 years, I have won the Steak challenge a couple of times in the now extinct Steak house in Stony Brook, The food and service are tops, and the good thing is they are local and have great beers and wines in stock. I highly recommend it. I usually go to Calverton when I need to have sometime for myself and write.
Great Ribs, chicken wings, French onion soup, and of course Steak! Love the secret marinade, but far one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid!
Ive been coming to this location with family for years, we have always received great service and food. What pushed me to leave this review was because of their waitress Tiffany. She gave exceptional service to my family on Christmas Eve. Tiffany was extremely efficient and attentive to our table. She was especially gracious to my nephew. She gave him a bracelet to give to his mother on Christmas morning and encouraged him to color as well. This small gesture meant a lot to us since his father passed this month and our family has been going through a difficult time (which Tiffany was not aware of). Tiffany was able to show kindness goes a long way in the serving industry. J&R’s is very lucky to have an employee as kind as her.
We have been to J&R many times at both the Calverton and the Rt 112 locations. We always get a great meal, great service and affordable prices. We love the atmosphere as well.
Love this place. I go every time I visit my father at the cemetery. I try something new each time, and it has yet to disappoint. Prices are good, specials are good and the decor is warm and welcoming. Love this little gem. Gives me something to look forward to after the long drive to visit my dad. If I were local, I'd definitely be there more often!
I hadn't been in about 10 yrs (life happens while you're making other plans) but it's as good as I remember. I got NY strip, baked clam appetizer, Caesar salad, perfect fries, apple strudel - all delicious. The steak sauce wasn't my favorite (it's kind of sweet for my taste) but the steak didn't need it Try the pumpkin beer - FYI the glass has cinnamon sugar on the rim which turned out ok
If you’re looking for the best steakhouse, look no further than J&R’s Steakhouse in Calverton. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and the quality has never changed—it’s still absolutely top-notch. The steaks are cooked to perfection every single time, bursting with flavor and tenderness that you just can’t find anywhere else. This is truly “THE BEST” steak I’ve ever had. What makes J&R’s even more special is the warm, homely atmosphere and the incredible staff. The service is always friendly and attentive, and on our most recent visit, our server Tanuja went above and beyond to take care of us. She made the entire experience even better. Another thing I admire is their pricing. While most restaurants have raised prices drastically with inflation, J&R’s has managed to keep theirs reasonable without compromising on quality. That says a lot about their commitment to customers. This was our 5th visit, and honestly, I just can’t get enough of this place. If you want great food, fair prices, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home, J&R’s Steakhouse is the spot. Highly recommend!
Grilled 90s style steakhouse. I can’t believe I have not been back to this place for maybe 15 years. Staff is amazing. Food is great at great prices. They make delicious appetizers and drinks. I have to go back there more often. Thank you for not spiking up your prices like other places have for those taking a family. This is a great family place.
What can be said about a restaurant that is big, loud, friendly, and has all the pieces in place to make your visit well worth the visit? Well, I suggest that J and R'S Steakhouse be part of your Long Island North Shore experience. J and R'S are worth the wait if they are busy. The service, food, drinks, atmosphere, and price are all spot on. Stop by, have a draft, and enjoy! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
JR Steakhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Joanne, Maria, and Ken went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience. They were friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. Now, onto the food—absolutely incredible! I ordered the special surf and turf, and everything was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The flavors were outstanding, and you could really tell the quality of the ingredients. And let’s talk about the French onion soup—hands down one of the best we’ve ever had! Rich, flavorful, and topped with the perfect amount of gooey melted cheese. JR Steakhouse has definitely earned a spot as one of our favorite restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!
In my opinion, based on my family’s experience and I, this is by far the best local steakhouse restaurant out eastern Long Island. Good quality steak at very affordable price!! Service was good! Love the decor there is no need for modern decor. Atmosphere is warm, inviting and friendly! Highly recommended by locals, definitely would agree and also recommend!!! it’s absolutely and definitely worth taking the trip to this humble local business. Shop, eat and support your local businesses.
Lobster bisque was ok. Rack of lamb was excellent, the prime rib was good but had a lot of gristle, the prime rib steak was good. Broccoli was cooked perfectly. Zach was an excellent waiter; friendly and very helpful.
Love this place. I've been going for years. Only 1 bad experiance and it was because we came too late and they were out of everything. Also baked clams were too mush for my taste, but the prime rib is always on point.
For the price it is an excellent choice. Laid back and family friendly. Good spot for a beer and buger or steak at the bar with the guys too.
We all had steaks cooked just how we requested. Loved my sweet potato with some flavored butter. Would recommend steering away from the lobster bisque, not too tasty and looked very unappetizing. Would definitely go back for a steak.
Prices were reasonable Leg of lamb nicely done Fish and chips fish had the beer batter taste was good bit salty. My prime rib was huge nice roasted edges, but a bit bland. My lobster bisque believe Was Imitation lobster, and sweet why?Shrimp cocktail typical fresh though. Had a taste of the porterhouse which was found to be made with another sweet ingredient Wasn't bad though. Mash potatoes boxed, rice pilaf two different colors and dry.apple strudel very nice.Sorry just had high expectations but disappointed. May go back but I'm not running.
Was very busy and food took a very long time coming. Clams were lukewarm. Steak was great, drinks great, boring for kids. Waitress was very good.
Food was surprisingly good. Service was great. Very noisy.
We had gone to JR Steakhouse today straight from a funeral. We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat our party of 16, The food was good, plenty of it. Prices were very reasonable. The biggest standout was our server Marie/Maria. Very attentive, never waited for a drink. She handled the entire table herself. She responded with “my pleasure” instead of “ no problem”. Just a little pet peeve. None the less, probably one of the best servers I have ever had..Made our experience there so much more enjoyable.
I've been here a few times, food and service was always really good. Except last time, I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it definitely was not a chicken schnitzel more like a prepared frozen breaded chicken reheated.
Always a good value with a fun atmosphere... good food and cold beer.
Casual but comfortable dining atmosphere. Good for families, couples and to celebrate birthdays. Good staff with good food is always nice.
It's an okay place to eat. I had steak tidbits that was supposed to be marinated but it was not so I had to ask for marinade. The rest of the plate was gross carbs and seed oil items. Salad and soup was good
A large pub-like atmosphere. When my wife and I are in the mood for a good steak for lunch, this is the place we head to. It’s a big place with plenty of seating. The waiters are very friendly, and it is reasonably priced to boot. It’s NOT Ruth’s Chris, but it does provide a good meal at a great price. Good beer selection an, of course, cocktails as well.
Their Veterans special was buy one entre get one half price, for Veterans Day. Finished wood walls, like a European fest hall, with big pint mugs for beers. The fireplace works great, especially when the wind is blowing and the temps are hovering between 39 & 41 degrees and the flurries are falling
Just like the cooks in your family some dishes are good and some are excellent. Combined with the service and atmosphere it’s a win win. Try different things and before you know it you’ll have some favorites. Notice FAVORITES is plural…enjoy!
Food is always good. I come for the skirt steak! This experience was very disappointing. Our server couldn't be bothered. Took drink, apps, and dinner order after about 15 minutes of waiting. Never saw her again until I made blatant eye contact, and even then had to actually wave her over. Never got the app, she had no idea. Why? Because we had our invisible cloaks on, it seemed. The place was not even half full, she had maybe 4 tables. Spent all her time talking with the couple behind us or wandering about. And no, she was an older woman, not a kid. Yes, I know her name.
Great food! Just make sure you’re there on time for your reservation because you will be pressured out of the restaurant after two hours.
It's not the best food. Just ok.
Love the building but was there for a birthday and besides the lacking party menu, the beef was not a good cut at all and was rare no matter which way you ordered it. The waitress was a sweetheart but her manager was pushy and he practically pushed our party of 30 out the door. Our kids were in the bathroom and he didn't wait for them to sing happy birthday to their 70 year old grandfather and just pushed through it. Very disappointed. If they would have told me bring my family earlier because the dinner rush was coming I would have gladly did that. God forbid this was by my father last birthday. His grandkids mixed the cake because this guy rushed through it just to get us out and open up the other tables.
Food was okay. Chicken Parmesan wasn't very flavorful and neither was the fish and chips. The coleslaw was good.
I ordered the prefix cowboy steak, which is a bone in ribeye. The steak was cooked correctly as I ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, there was a lot of tendon and fat on the steak . It came with a side of so-called cream of spinach. I hate to say this, but it tasted like spinach snot. The potatoes, which were the JR skin on potatoes were very good. My daughter ordered the skirt steak and it was excellent. The fries appeared to be of the frozen variety. Nothing special. Her Caesar salad was very good . For dessert we ordered the apple strudel and the brownie sundae. I thought the brownie sundae was a bit expensive at nine dollars considering it was just a very basic brownie with a generous scoop of ice cream and a little whipped cream. The apple strudel was nothing to write home about. A mediocre dining experience.
Normally I would rate them all 4 stars or higher, however when my family came out from the city for a visit, I made a mistake taking them here on a weekend evening, we had to wait about a half hour for a table, which the host lied and said 10-15 minutes, all the while when they sat us,right behind us was about 6 tables that no one was at??? Now we certainly weren't the only ones waiting mind you! So after that ,then we get seated in the dead center of the restaurant which I hate, because no one likes to try and eat besides a runway of people constantly shuffling by,and I did ask for a corner or at least a wall table but,it was crowded as hell...so,we all ordered and for the money I'm paying, half my steak was fat, my poor sister ordered a steak that looked like it wasn't even cooked,I even asked her if that was the salmon that I seen on the menu, yeah ,that's how it came out to her,I wasn't happy believe me,then the onion rings were soggy, in fact I bit into one and hot oil leaked all over my new jeans , like I said earlier, I've been here many of times, but this time nothing went well, and for their prices, and this economy, I might have a tougher time forgetting this trip... the service was okay, the food was terrible and the price, well you know it's not cheap! 😠
I’m so sorry. This used to be one of our favorite places. And now we haven’t been going as much, but two weeks in a row, the first week I got the porterhouse special, the steak was like something from TGI Fridays.and the baked potato was super dry. The only great thing is the cheese cake. So I figured that it was a bad week, so we went out with the inlaws and some other family members. This time I got the large ribeye, and warned the guy about the potato, same freakin thing, a very thing TGI steak and a horrible potato, so now I’m writing this review. Because I’ve been coming to this J&Rs for maybe 20 years, the new owners need to try harder, because one more bad steak, and no more J&Rs for us. And I hate to say this
Wow, I've been coming here for years. This has to be by far the worst meal. I've ever had from this place very disappointed to say this me. And my wife had the filet steak Tibbits. However, no one told me that it was going to come with a side dish of French fries. A loaf of garlic bread that was a couple of days old. Steak tidbits on top of guess what? Even more French fries. And then they poured cheese whiz on top of the steak. What were you thinking? Where's the broccoli string beans? Anything other than all of these French fries who eats all of these French fries. Then, because I only ate the steak. I decided to try the banana cheesecake, good Lord What the heck would they thinking when they made this? It tasted like banana and just plain ricotta. No cheesecake taste whatsoever. I'm sorry to post this very bad review, but I'm sorry I had to pay for it.
The only reason I like this place is for thr gift shop and atmosphere. It's nice that it's different from the other locations. However the chicken schnitzel was disappointing, very soggy and thick. My mom got chili and it looked like dog food. The cheese on top and for the pretzel is literally cheese whiz!! The waiter named Ken I think was very forgetful and was rushing us. He gave the check before the dessert which was Included, and kept the rest of the money for HIMSELF!! Also charged for things we didn't order. Very unprofessional. Will not return
We just moved to the area and my Fiancé was excited to try this place. We loved the atmosphere, (though there was no music?) The beer was FANTASTIC, German beers on tap! The server was nice, the runner was WONDERFUL, the busser was also GREAT. The food however, was horrible. The coconut shrimp was raw in the middle. I ordered the lobster bisque, what I got was the equivalent of ordering ravioli at an Italian restaurant and getting served chef boyardee instead. The chicken schnitzel was not the best- but by far the best thing we had there. My fiancé said the prime rib was like his grandmothers pot roast.(she was not known favorably for her cooking.) Maybe we just made bad choices? We really wanted to love it there. Did I mention how much we LOVED the beer???? We will be back for that!
The waitress and waters are great so are the hostess but My husbands food came out mine didn’t ,one of the bust women or men accidentally gave my food away, the waitress was good she check on it came back and told me it would be 8 minutes , I wasn’t in the mood to wait and eat after my husband was finished so I told her to cancel. AlsoThe last time I went Two week's ago the bbq chicken was hard and rubbery.
Was highly disappointed with my last visit to this J&R’s. Firstly the people at the front desk were not very accommodating when we walked in. They were giving my family nasty looks & tried to sit us at a table for 4 instead of a table for 5 - there was 5 of us. Secondly we waited for a good 10-15 minutes before a waitress came over to ask us what drinks we wanted to order. Only it wasn’t the waitress that we were supposed to have as per the one taking our drink orders said “your waitress is busy right now. I’ll be taking orders until she’s free.” It took at least another 10 minutes for our real waitress to come and take our food orders. On top of that it took at least 20 minutes after we ate to finally get our bill and have our order paid for. Let me tell you, Tiffany our waitress is a real airhead. She didn’t have any eye contact while taking our order, was snapping away at her gum and twirling her hair as she was standing at our table which I found to be highly unprofessional, rude and quite frankly a little bit unhygienic. Another point of concern was that we had ordered something from the entree section on the menu (I believe it was the chicken parm & linguine) we asked if we got to pick 2 sides as per the menu it says all entrees come with a choice of 2 sides. Apparently it doesn’t apply to every entree on the menu because according to Tiffany the linguine is the side. To me that seems very misleading as in the menu it states (ALL ENTREES INCLUDE A CHOICE OF 2 SIDES). Moreover when we got our food some of the sides we ordered were missing as some of us ordered entrees that we were asked what our choice of 2 sides were. My son got nothing with his entree even though he asked for fries & my other son only got French fries with his entree when he asked for veggies as his second side. It should also be mentioned that the serving sizes were extremely small (especially the macaroni salad they give you as an appetizer & for the price you pay) and they seated us right under AC vents that caused us to be cold the entire time we ate. I would give 1 star but the food is pretty good (albeit having small portions) so that’s why I gave 2 stars. Overall the serving sizes need to be reevaluated, the menu should be re-worded (or at least honored when it says “all entrees come with choice of 2 sides”) & the staff could be a little more involved and kind with guests.
I suggest not getting food from the bar it took well over an hour n a half, even after finishing it took 20 mins just to get our check presented. Jus get regular seating if available.
FRIES. DON’T. BEND LIKE THIS. Our server said that she “does not know why the fries come out like that.” Well, ALLOW ME to enlighten her. They didn’t wash the starch off the potatoes after they were cut, resulting in uneven starch distribution which causes some areas to be dark and others very light. They didn’t coat the fries in flour or corn starch before frying them, which is why the exterior has no crunch. Finally, they threw way too many fries in the oil at once, releasing too much water which dropped the oil temperature and boiled the fries. Thus, they bend like noodles when they come out. Awful food and awful wait times. Go to the J&R’s in Rocky Point instead!
All of the food tasted pre-made and brought from a grocery store and all of the steaks weren’t cooked properly. The prices may seem reasonable but for 8 people we ended up spending 300 dollars for Walmart quality food.
This is not a review I wanted to write . I met my children there to celebrate a Fathers day dinner and to Be Honest MY Daughter found a LIVE TICK in her salad . it is beyond upsetting ? How can you not clean Lettuce ? At first They tried to say we brought it in . WOW this was in the salad on the bottom and moving around . TERRIBLE will not be Returning
7 oz. Filet mingon was dry and overcooked, ordered med. rare, ordered sweet potato, got soggy sweet potato fries, wife ordered Sauerbraten, meat was terrible, sauce, was not sauerbraten, meat was hard, and they used brown gravy, by putting red cabbage on the plate, they want you to think you are eating Sauerbraten, even the potatoe pancakes were awful, they have better in Shop Rite frozen section, Folks=never again.
I have been to the one in Medford, which is an excellent steakhouse for the price. If you come here expecting the same experience, you will be sorely disappointed. To be fair I came on a Saturday night so I expect the service to be worse than average. However, it was worse than expected. We ordered off of the price fix menu, which included an appetizer, 2 sides, an entree, and a desert. Our entrees came out before our appetizers or side salads, and were lukewarm. The prime rib was also one of the toughest things I’ve ever cut despite being cooked rare (I ordered medium.) The mashed potatoes were also extremely forgettable. When our appetizers finally did come, my baked clams were terrible. As were the Caesar salads. I will say the apple strudel and cheesecake were very good Keep in mind I’ve ordered all of these as the Medford location and really enjoyed them. Whatever you do, do NOT come to this location. The Medford one is 100 times better
I would’ve put 0 stars. My first and last time here. My family of 6 had to wait over an hour for our main course to arrive! We went on a Thursday night, it was not busy. Our server, Jen, disappeared after taking our order and then reappeared after an hour and was shocked that our food was not on the table yet. Wow! Worst service ever. I had to take my toddler out to get him fast food as he was starving after an hour of waiting!!! I’ve never had a worst experience in a restaurant before. We never got an explanation of why our food was taking so long. Bad service all around!!
I have always come to this j&rs specifically because it has always been the best. I travel 30 minutes away just to come to this one. Tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. The waiter was amazing I forgot his name but he was very good. We were forgotten about and when the food came out it was not even warm. The baked clams were cold in the middle most of the on the plate. The entree was also not great as that was cold as well. I never send back at any restaurant that I go to and this was a first. I really don’t know if I will ever go back because it was just one after the other. And on top it was my birthday and it just made the ending to my day horrible. Whoever they had on tonight should be replaced with people that know they are doing. I’ve been coming for over 15 years and I don’t think I’ll ever come back.
Do not go here. Went here after a funeral, we were a big party, but they knew we were coming. One member of our parties order was “missing” and then the second prime steak came out with a bug on it. Few minutes later they re-brought out the second steak but just flipped it over. It had a hole in the middle of the prime rib so it was very distinctive. This place is disgusting.
First of all I've been gone to this restaurant for over 20 years this has been the worst experience ever we got there at 11:40 in the morning took the waitress 10 minutes to get to us she's over in the corner on her phone then it took another 30 minutes for our food she said it's only one cook and I said it was only a steak and a sampler platter she said it takes time to cook the steak 30 minutes it takes to cook a steak I wanted a steak not leather. But the other table with six people added got their food before us and came in after us. I paid for the two drinks and walked out. They were absolutely rude and disrespectful I said that's the problem with you younger generation. So the manager andl two waitresses told me to get out and never come back again, that was very disrespectful and rude. So this is how the restaurant is run it used to be a nice place to go to with a great atmosphere, now it sucks.
I just moved out here. Ordered dinner for us and bit into my filet mignon sandwich and chewed on a foot long blonde hair. I called back and they were willing to make me another one. Never again. You have cooks that don’t wear hair nets. You are better off getting steak at a Chinese spot. Never again. Disgraceful.
Called in the order at 6. Was told 45 minutes Got to the restaurant at 645. Paid for my to go order and waited till 725 before being informed that one of my sides was sold out. No big deal change my side order. Turns out that the rest of my order was sitting out and they were just waiting to get my choice of what side to sub. Now all the rest of the food is cold because it’s been sitting for more than half an hour. Just frustrating when you spend your money on a nice meal only to wait 45 minutes longer than expected and after that long wait the food is cold.
Corned Beef Rueben was like shoe leather, pastrami was long overdue to be thrown out and they still send them out on the floor to be eaten. Seafood bisque was turned bad. Never go again.......
Good quality has really gone down over the past few years. The prime rib did not taste like fresh prime rib but reheated. I know prime ribs are heated but it just tastes different. Other food was meh.
Ordered the prime rib French dip and they didn't include the au jus
The waiter Ken S was not friendly and the food was trash me and my Gf comes here at least once or twice a month it use to be good I feel like he told the cook to cook our food raw or served us the food right from the refrigerator without cooking it. it upset our stomach, i threw out my other sandwich. He is lucky my gf was with me because i was planning on not tipping at all but she was paying this time and gave him a tip, i was ready to drop 40 cash and walk out (that how much it cost) we usually get dessert but my gf didn't want to get it because of him she felt like it would not come out as good Im not coming back to this place. I would rather eat at McDonald's and i haven't ate there is 20 years .
My father son and I went here last night and usually the place is wonderful and I look forward to it my waitress was horrible she put the wrong meal in for me, it took me a few minutes to even get her attention because she must have known the peiple behind us she was sitting at there table taking there order, when she messed up she didnt even say im sorry I put in the wrong meal she took it and walked away, so I ended up waiting 20 minutes to get the right food which by then my family was done and I just packed mine up to go. She didnt check on us at all besides placing coffee on the table I was so disappointed I couldnt wait to get out of there. Myself and family will be taking a break from the place I hope they get there act together
