Returned to Robin's restaurant captured in the historical building. After not having visited for a number of years, it still retains its rustic feel. The weather was cold and stormy, so we ate inside, which was a first. Normally, we are on the decorative patio. Also, we weren't all too hungry and decided to have appetizers. Our server, Kaylee aka Tinker, was very helpful in confirming which appetizers were most popular and the best examples of Robin's cuisine. We settled on Baby back ribs and the Spring rolls. The ribs were great, meat fell off the bone and the sauce was incredible. There were 4 ribs, a good amount since we weren't very hungry. The Vietnamese spring rolls were also filling, 4 came with the serving. The sauce was delicious but I didn't try the hot side veggies (cabbage?) since I wasn't in the mood for spicy hot. Paired with the Chimay Blue Belgium beer and I heard the Sangria was excellent. The cost was around $50 which may be a little high but the value was there, and the service was great too. Ambiance was nice with the fireplace in the front room and a mellow crowd made it easy to quietly converse. It's always nice to return to Robin's on our periodic visit to Cambria.
Cozy restaurant vibe where you can enjoy a beautiful meal. The food is made with fresh and local ingredients! The vegetarian lasagna was delicious! The spicy salmon sushi was delectable! This restaurant is a must try if you are in the area!!

During our vacation in Cambria, we heard glowing recommendations about Robin's, a must-visit restaurant known for its cozy and elegant ambiance. To ensure a spot for our anniversary dinner, we made a reservation well in advance. Arriving a few minutes early, we were warmly welcomed and offered a comfortable seat outside while our table was prepared. The staff thoughtfully asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating, and we left the choice to them. They selected a lovely outdoor table, perfect for the occasion. Though Cambria evenings can be chilly, the staff promptly offered to turn on heaters or provide heated seats, ensuring our comfort. We found the setting naturally cozy and declined additional heating. From the attentive table service to the genuinely friendly staff, every detail was impeccable. The food was exquisitely plated, bursting with flavor, and left us eager for more. The inviting atmosphere made our anniversary dinner truly unforgettable. Robin's is now a highlight of our trip, and we can't wait to return to Cambria to dine there again, perhaps for both lunch and dinner in a single day. Oh yeah, the Garlic bread... Amazing!
They have a great outdoor heated patio where dogs are welcome, which made it a perfect spot for us to bring the pups along. The food was really good, with a menu that has a lot of interesting options, and the wine list paired nicely with the dishes. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a great spot for a delicious meal in Cambria, especially if you’re looking for somewhere dog-friendly with excellent service. Definitely make a reservation.
Super cute place. Recommened from nearby saloon so we gave it a try. Salmon bisque was perfect. The waitress Tinker, suggested a side of garlic bread - this was great advice. We also had the Osso Bucco. Pefect meal, service, atmosphere. I highly recommend and you should make a reservation.

Wow!!! What a pleasant surprise!! This place was absolutely! The food was incredible and fresh! The staff was so friendly and atmosphere was super cool! I felt like I was eating at the Keebler elf’s house! I would highly recommend and I would definitely eat here again! 🤙🤙🤙🤙
A Rare Gem That Exceeded All Expectations ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our first visit here was nothing short of excellent! With the holiday hustle in full swing, we needed something to truly get us into the Christmas spirit, and this place delivered beyond our wildest expectations. The food was fantastic, the service superb, and the atmosphere absolutely amazing. It's such a rare find these days to discover a restaurant where everything comes together so perfectly. Each item we ordered was unique and memorable in its own way. Our server's wine recommendation was absolutely perfect – so perfect, in fact, that when we returned to San Luis Obispo, we managed to find a store that carried it. A few days later, we serendipitously stumbled upon their tasting room, where we had the pleasure of sharing with one of the owners how we were first introduced to their wine. Our son was so impressed that he even picked up a club membership on the spot! (we did mention Robin's) This restaurant isn't just a meal – it's an experience that stays with you long after you leave. We can't wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The covered seating area is really nice and creates a cozy atmosphere, though there were a few small bugs because of the indoor vine. The staff was attentive throughout our visit, and having a reservation made everything smooth. The salmon bisque was a standout—rich, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. I also tried the cheeseburger, which was yummy but a bit too oily for my taste. Overall, I’d come back again. The ambiance and service made it a pleasant experience despite a few minor drawbacks.
This is an excellent option if you are in Cambria. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent service and fantastic food. If you have to wait, I recommend going across the street for a glass of wine or beer at The Optimyst.
Highly recommend the truffle fries, garlic bread, sake-based cocktails, filet mignon, salmon, and afogatto. The ambiance is beautiful and they've done a great job heating and covering the outdoor spaces so you don't need to worry about the elements. We loved this place so much that we came back the next night for a second round!
One of the great restaurants you will find tucked away on the Central California coast is located in an obscure and quaint town called Cambria. This is a must stop for any serious foodie! The meals prepared are culturally diverse, with N. Indian Roghan Josh as one of the stars along with the short ribs over mashed potatoes. The appetizer menu is stunning with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Crusted Calamari being presented on your dinner plate. This area of Cambria is located around a half hour north of Morro Bay and 45 minutes from San Luis Obispo. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is tops. Try this place next time you are out for dinner and you will not be disappointed.

Robin’s is a must when in Cambria. Both the indoor and outdoor settings are wonderful, although I would recommend the outdoor patio. The menu is eclectic and changes regularly. Nice wine selection and the service is great! We’ve been there twice in the past year and both times our meals were excellent. Make reservations. I would highly recommend Robin’s! Enjoy!!
Absolutely phenomenal food. Staff was fantastic. Our server was Kayla and she was so pleasant and ensured we had a great experience while visiting with our newborn. We will be returning soon!
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was sophisticated and calming and the service was good. We tend to eat vegetarian. The vegetarian cabbage rolls were stupendously delicious on a perfectly prepared exotic vegetable and mushroom bedding. My wife had the lasagna and loved it - portions are generous, cooked well and delivered hot. Highly recommended!
Food was excellent. Ingredients were farm fresh as promised and the flavors were incredible. We ordered the Pork Chop and Robin's Chow, as well as the Peach Blueberry Crisp for dessert. We also received an order of their Chocolate Torte on the house because we were celebrating an anniversary. Service was great and we enjoyed being seated in their outside area on the patio surrounded by live music and lush greenery.
My first choice for dinner was Poke Nachos, and I was very impressed it was superb.They have the most beautiful flowers in the garden. My entree were cabbage rolls, which were a flavor explosion with fresh eggplants, shitake mushrooms, and bell peppers. I highly recommend this place
We enjoyed our meal very much. The atmosphere is lovely. We sat in the covered patio. It was quite loud so if you want quiet conversation maybe inside is better. Our food was good but a couple of areas could have been better. Short rib came out lukewarm. The tofu in robins chow should be pre marinated . It didn’t have much flavor but the rest of the dish was more flavorful. The poke nachos was a fun starter and different. A nice place that has something for everyone.

The menu spans everything from Vietnamese spring rolls to duck ramen, and from braised short ribs to lamb curry, making it hard to choose! We started with the salt-roasted beets, which were vibrant and flavorful. For the main course, I had the southern spiced chicken served with jambalaya risotto. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and packed with delicious seasoning. My friend ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes, and they were also spot on, moist and perfectly seasoned. We finished our meal with the berry cobbler for dessert, and it didn’t disappoint! It was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and a wonderful way to end the meal. If you’re looking for a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a wide-ranging menu, Robin’s is the place to go.

Brunch at Robin's. Webplanned for a special day with friends and our brunch was unhurried and tasty. Sitting in the garden enhanced the experience; the generous spacing among tables created an intimate and warm. Great array of menu items. Surprisingly tasty sake drink wirked well. The Burger was well-prepared and ample although the fries were not well seasoned. The Short Rib Hash was a strong dish, savory and flavorful with tender meat. The Seasonal Coffee with Pumpkin Spice provided a satisfying finish. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and highly efficient with good suggestions, and the entire meal was well-handled. Good food and a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.
We had the mushroom risotto with chicken and the osso bucco. We both enjoyed our meals and were satisfied, but not wowed. The atmosphere is the thing. This place is a darling fairy garden. We sat in the back covered patio on plastic chairs at a folding table with a tablecloth. Chairs were comfortable. There are heaters about every 5 feet, so even though it was 60 degrees and misty, we were not cold.
