We enjoyed our meal very much. The atmosphere is lovely. We sat in the covered patio. It was quite loud so if you want quiet conversation maybe inside is better. Our food was good but a couple of areas could have been better. Short rib came out lukewarm. The tofu in robins chow should be pre marinated . It didn’t have much flavor but the rest of the dish was more flavorful. The poke nachos was a fun starter and different. A nice place that has something for everyone.

Love going to Robin’s! Service is always excellent! The food is delicious. If I could give more stars I would!

Robin’s Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers an impressive variety of dishes from different cuisines. The menu spans everything from Vietnamese spring rolls to duck ramen, and from braised short ribs to lamb curry, making it hard to choose! We started with the salt-roasted beets, which were vibrant and flavorful. For the main course, I had the southern spiced chicken served with jambalaya risotto. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and packed with delicious seasoning. My friend ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes, and they were also spot on, moist and perfectly seasoned. We finished our meal with the berry cobbler for dessert, and it didn’t disappoint! It was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and a wonderful way to end the meal. If you’re looking for a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a wide-ranging menu, Robin’s is the place to go.

During our vacation in Cambria, we heard glowing recommendations about Robin's, a must-visit restaurant known for its cozy and elegant ambiance. To ensure a spot for our anniversary dinner, we made a reservation well in advance. Arriving a few minutes early, we were warmly welcomed and offered a comfortable seat outside while our table was prepared. The staff thoughtfully asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating, and we left the choice to them. They selected a lovely outdoor table, perfect for the occasion. Though Cambria evenings can be chilly, the staff promptly offered to turn on heaters or provide heated seats, ensuring our comfort. We found the setting naturally cozy and declined additional heating. From the attentive table service to the genuinely friendly staff, every detail was impeccable. The food was exquisitely plated, bursting with flavor, and left us eager for more. The inviting atmosphere made our anniversary dinner truly unforgettable. Robin's is now a highlight of our trip, and we can't wait to return to Cambria to dine there again, perhaps for both lunch and dinner in a single day. Oh yeah, the Garlic bread... Amazing!

Absolutely phenomenal food. Staff was fantastic. Our server was Kayla and she was so pleasant and ensured we had a great experience while visiting with our newborn. We will be returning soon!

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was sophisticated and calming and the service was good. We tend to eat vegetarian. The vegetarian cabbage rolls were stupendously delicious on a perfectly prepared exotic vegetable and mushroom bedding. My wife had the lasagna and loved it - portions are generous, cooked well and delivered hot. Highly recommended!

My first choice for dinner was Poke Nachos, and I was very impressed it was superb.They have the most beautiful flowers in the garden. My entree were cabbage rolls, which were a flavor explosion with fresh eggplants, shitake mushrooms, and bell peppers. I highly recommend this place

We had a reservation, and were greeted rather quickly when we arrived, and seated just as fast. The servers were all very friendly and joked with us often. The food was absolutely delightful, and this place has a excellent selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Many of the dishes allow you to select their tofu options instead of meat! Our server gave us wonderful suggestions for dessert as well. It was such a lovely time!

Beautiful outdoor garden that is very dog friendly, there is good distancing from table to table so the dogs are perfectly separated. Food is good but portions are more towards the small end, and our waiting time was around 30mins (but to be fair we came on a holiday). Salmon bisque is phenomenal! Get one! Salmon BLT is great and they are nice to custom it as fully-cooked because I am pregnant, but the default is juicy medium-rare. Pickled onions in it are so good.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. If you want atmosphere, this is the place to be.They have a very dog friendly patio. They offered unconventional menu items. It's worth a visit or two.

This restaurant was recommended by a local. It is on Burton Street off Main Street. There is limited on street parking and public parking in back. Handicap parking and access is available. Wait was minimal. We were seated in the beautiful garden patio. Lush plants surround the seating area. It had a calming and relaxing ambience. The staff was great. Our server Sydney was extremely friendly, patient and attentive. She stopped by several times to check on us. I ordered the garden salad with roasted chicken breast. My hubby ordered the roasted chicken enchilada. He loved it. Their house strawberry guava black iced tea was great. They refilled our glasses several times. The portions were generous. The menu is extensive. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. Restrooms are available in the patio and indoors. We will definitely return to try other dishes.

When you are in a small town in coastal California (like Cambria) and you read about an "ecclectic restaurant that serves international cuisine", you instantly question its authenticity and caliber. Will such a small region be able to product delicious flavors around the world spanning from Californian to middle eastern to even Korean dishes? Is this literally a collage of global hits put together to dupe the locals? Oh my god, Robin's absolutely blew us away from all prejudice and expectations. After our visit to the Hearts Castle, we stopped by for late lunch. I was genuinely dubious about the 4.6 stars but decided to take a bet. The interior was eccelctic indeed with plants growing in the "green house" room, with colorful furniture and a cottage-like decor. So much character packed in a small place. The menu was from all over the world. Bulgogi bowls to lobster bisque to chicken satay to garlic bread. It almost felt like the chef chose whatever they liked. I just prayed that it would taste decent. My party of 7 ordered whatever they felt most familiar with. The food was simply amazing and surprisingly authentic for the diversity. The garlic bread with cheese on a sourdough was out of this world. The chicken satays were really well marinated and flavorful. The catch of the day fish tacos - oh my god... the mango salsa and onions came together perfectly with a heartful corn tortilla (definitely not regular). It was the first time I could enjoy fish tacos without hot sauce or salsa. And the babaganoush dip with falafels was out of this world. What was genuinely amazing was how each one of the flagship dishes from around the world could hold their ground in a dedicated restaurant for that cuisine. It really felt like there were multiple chefs in the kitchen from various countries each producing one dish. And this was being achieved in a small town of Cambria with a population of 5,000-ish. My party had an amazing time. Service was friendly and great. Food again blew us away with a very reasonable price. Cambria has this small-town feel and coming out of Hearst, this is the place to be. If you are visiting Heart Castle or for whatever reason driving on Hwy 1 past Cambria and San Simeon, Robin's Restaurant is a must-visit.

What a beautiful place! The hostess and serveuses were friendly warm and welcoming. The food excellent, lamb curry and butternut enchiladas. We sat outside and with the landscape and lights, it just felt magical! Thank you for the experience!

I adore this place. Super cozy but spacious. Our waitress Megan was as sweet as she could be. Will definitely come back next time we're in the area. The pumpkin cheesecake (minus the walnuts 😁) was exquisite.

This place was a home run! It had the beautiful setting with a garden like outdoor patio that was protected and amazing! The food didn’t just look like art, it tasted so good! Very diverse menu to please all kinds of tastes. Our group loved the braised short ribs, the Thai green curry with all the fresh vegetables, the flat iron steak that melted in your mouth and the local wine to go with it! Great friendly service and you have the whole package! We will be back!!!

Got to know about restaurant from our bus to Hearst Castle. Such a wonderful restaurant! Menu is not elaborate but the quality of food is great! The of spring rolls were very good. Autumn salad spoke for itself with great ingredients and freshness. They could make delicious kimchi fried rice in Vegan. Kids loved Shakshuka too. We Loved their unlimited lemonade and chai tea latte. Sundae was heavenly and got as complimentary as we just visited Hearst Castle! Jade, who attended our table was so very nice. The ambiance was simply amazing! Very tastefully done and loved their little garden.

Robin's has very nice outdoor seating, excellent service and a decent menu. We hadn't eaten here in a number of years and we're happy we did. There aren't many places in Cambria with great patio seating, the restaurant has it. The host and waitress were both great. Plus, it's dog friendly, we brought two!

We visited this restaurant in 2024. I’m back in the UK making my version of the charred sprouts, blues cheese and apple. The food was fantastic, fresh and what ever you are feeding your pigs makes them giant and tasty!! Highly recommend, worth the 3000 miles to get there.

A Rare Gem That Exceeded All Expectations ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our first visit here was nothing short of excellent! With the holiday hustle in full swing, we needed something to truly get us into the Christmas spirit, and this place delivered beyond our wildest expectations. The food was fantastic, the service superb, and the atmosphere absolutely amazing. It's such a rare find these days to discover a restaurant where everything comes together so perfectly. Each item we ordered was unique and memorable in its own way. Our server's wine recommendation was absolutely perfect – so perfect, in fact, that when we returned to San Luis Obispo, we managed to find a store that carried it. A few days later, we serendipitously stumbled upon their tasting room, where we had the pleasure of sharing with one of the owners how we were first introduced to their wine. Our son was so impressed that he even picked up a club membership on the spot! (we did mention Robin's) This restaurant isn't just a meal – it's an experience that stays with you long after you leave. We can't wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Super cute place. Recommened from nearby saloon so we gave it a try. Salmon bisque was perfect. The waitress Tinker, suggested a side of garlic bread - this was great advice. We also had the Osso Bucco. Pefect meal, service, atmosphere. I highly recommend and you should make a reservation.

The brunch menu we ordered from is exceptional, as it offers both breakfast and lunch items. I was extremely impressed with the intense flavor offered by the veggie enchiladas and the fluffy texture of the veggie quiche. What a great meal-and the ambience in the yard is next to none. I have been to Robin's many times and am never disappointed!

Robert is an amazing server! He was attentive and very patient with my intoxicated family members (Sorry, Robert!), and I appreciated his sense of humor and how well it matched ours. The food was also delightful. We all ordered something different and tried food off of each other's plates and NO ONE was disappointed with what they got! I don't eat at fancy restaurants often, but this place was absolutely worth the splurge!

Just wow. We had 3 dishes and all were "as tasty as any equivalent dish we had had in a long time. Reawakened our taste buds. The wait staff were super accommodating and bonus, we discovered anew favorite Paso Robles wine. Kudos. Robins

Had an excellent meal here on our girls weekend! Menu had something delicious for everyone. We split the ahi nachos, each had a delicious entree, and split the carrot cake - & ice cream our friend got to honor her birthday. Great wine & beer selection. Beautiful garden setting. Excellent service. We weren’t rushed at all which was nice since we only get together once a year. Will definitely return.

Outstanding!! We were here for our wedding anniversary, and our experience certainly exceeded our expectations. The staff was very attentive, especially our server Robert. And the food? MARVELOUS!! My husband had the salmon with a wasabi aioli drizzle, accompanied by forbidden black rice and snap peas and carrots. I chose the filet mignon with a mushroom demiglaze, served on a bed of mashed potatoes and accompanied by fresh asparagus. For a special treat, they served us a complimentary dessert of dense chocolate mousse covered with raspberry sauce - decadent and delicious!

First off, they are pet friendly . We have a big golden retriever and they welcomed to her like she was one of their own. We sat outside in the most beautiful garden flowering plants and trees and vines out really unique setting food was wonderful. even had choices for vegans. Recommend you make a reservations. It was a bit chilly that evening, but they had heaters which made it very comfortable. The staff was wonderful and even suggested a secret doggy menu for our sweet Bella. Highly recommended.

Brunch at Robin's. Webplanned for a special day with friends and our brunch was unhurried and tasty. Sitting in the garden enhanced the experience; the generous spacing among tables created an intimate and warm. Great array of menu items. Surprisingly tasty sake drink wirked well. The Burger was well-prepared and ample although the fries were not well seasoned. The Short Rib Hash was a strong dish, savory and flavorful with tender meat. The Seasonal Coffee with Pumpkin Spice provided a satisfying finish. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and highly efficient with good suggestions, and the entire meal was well-handled. Good food and a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We had the mushroom risotto with chicken and the osso bucco. We both enjoyed our meals and were satisfied, but not wowed. The atmosphere is the thing. This place is a darling fairy garden. We sat in the back covered patio on plastic chairs at a folding table with a tablecloth. Chairs were comfortable. There are heaters about every 5 feet, so even though it was 60 degrees and misty, we were not cold.

The food was great! In fact, I had a Rogan josh, soup of the day which was carrot turmeric, vegetable curry with prawns, pesto crusted chicken , and all thr dishes were amazing. They have a beautiful atmosphere, and even after we didn't have reservations, they took us in without hesitation. Food is a bit pricey but good quality.

This was really good! The atmosphere was great as well. The outside dining was perfect. We had two appetizers. The salt beets and the cheese board. Both were really good. We shared an entree of butternut squash enchiladas. A little on the pricey side but we’ll worth it. I would go back for sure.

Had a great Valentine's Day dinner. We got short ribs and the filet. Both were great. I wish they had real liquor here though. They have wine, beer, and mixed drinks with sake. I would've preferred a mixed drink with real liquor but overall was a great experience and food was awesome.

10-7-2022 Food was good, we sat outside in a lovely garden patio area. We had spring rolls, salmon bisque, lamb burrito and pulled pork sandwich with salad. The spring rolls are so good. The salam bisque was very creamy with large chunks of salmon and shellfish. The lamb burrito was not very flavorful and could use a little sauce maybe on the side. The pulled pork sandwich was very good. We were thinking about dessert but the waiter was disconnected and we my husband did not get a refill on his soda while I was offered a refill on my tea. It took another 15 minutes to get a check and pay. Although the food is good, expect a wait. Food was good, place is quaint. We ate on the patio and it was enjoyable. The staff seemed nice. We had the spring roll appetizer, the lamb burritos curry chicken salad sandwich and salad, and the lunch chow with prawns. It was all very good and the tastes delightfully surprising. A very nice lunch.

Robin's has great food & service if you eat there. But, we like to pick up to-go orders to eat at home. We have placed orders two times in the last month & both times, the orders have been incomplete. The last time, we opened the boxes & checked to make sure everything was there. It wasn't. The woman apologized & made it right but they can do better. How hard is it to check your to-go order to make sure everything is in the box?
