Opinions de Roundup Pizza and Grub Cambria
Great place, family owned with the young guys taking over this year. Lots of energy and attention to detail. Wonderful server, attentive and timeful. Handmade pizza was great. The adjacent table was having a birthday celebration and looked great! Kids having a hoot. Definitely worth a stop.
We ate at JBJ tonight and it was a great experience! We had our little dog with us so we ate on the patio and they turned on the propane heater for us. Service was excellent and our server, I believe her name is Dani, was very attentive. The food was excellent. We'll definitely eat here the next time we come to Cambria. They even had a water bowl for the doggie!
We came in for a quick snack and got the peesonal Round Up Combo which was delish. Staff was friendly and service was great! Would definitely come back!
Ordered bacon cheeseburger and fries online. Food was made quick and the burger was very good.
Quite possibly the best meatball sandwich I've ever had.
Once again we are trying new places we have gone to Cambria ca for the last 5 years for our anniversary. We stopped by and went in and the ladies that were working there were very friendly and picked up conversation with us. We got personal pizza and it was really delicious. Going back there also next year.
Grateful they were open on Christmas Day! Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
We ordered the Herm’s Pizza and declared it to be one of the best pizzas and best crusts we’ve ever had. It was our second time there since visiting a couple years ago and we were so glad we went back. Super nice crew, as well!
This is a great place to eat! The food was amazing and the servers were very kind. The pizza crust was perfectly crispy underneath and soft in top. The prices are great too. Highly recommend coming to JBJ. If you are around the area get a pizza from here!
The food is amazing. The thin crust pizza is the best and the their spaghetti and meat ball is the best. Will definitely go back many times more.
A great place and such good food especially the Mediterranean pizza
It was lovely! Eunices (I hope I spelt his name right) our server was really friendly and attentive! The food was delicious. I had the beet and goats cheese salad with chicken which was delicious! My family had the grilled cheese and and pablano soup which they said was divine! My grandpa is a world traveller and said that’s the best soup he’s had in a long time! Go check it out! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I love the western vibes in there too!
My family, friends, and I have been eating at JBJs for years, and the quality of pizza has always been amazing. Our favorite is the Pizza Margarita and the Mediterranean. The staff is friendly, and the owner's children, Monica and Ulysses, will be carrying on the delicious legacy that their parents started 20 something years ago.
This restaurant is a gem in Cambria. Recently renovated with a small town charm and high quality food and service. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The wine selection is lovely and curated perfectly for your meal. The pasta options and salads are delicious too. Plenty of space for larger parties and a lovely patio for your fur-baby. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. There are homemade cinnamon rolls that my 8 year old daughter loved! If you are in the mood to stay in, order takeout. You will love it! Definitely a top choice in Cambria!
The place is very well located in the center of Cambria. We were just passing through and it was the best decision. The food was very good and the service excellent. Special mention to our waitress, whose name I don't remember, but I know she spoke Spanish very well because of her Mexican parents.
Fun, eclectic vibe with horse and carriage style. Ask for Monica as your server as she’s full of positive energy. Pizzas are excellent. Try the thin crust version.
Everything is this place it top! I loved being able to access this restaurant from the back because I had a stroller. My toddler got the spaghetti (no meatballs) and he ate it all. Husband and I got a half and half pizza and it was delicious. The crust was soft but crunchy just how I like it. Definitely recommend this place. Great service as well. He came back every so often to check on us. We appreciate it. ❤️
JBJ Round Up Pizza is a family tradition of ours for over a decade. We discovered JBJ and Cambria, back in 2008 when we started dating. Whenever we drive up to Cambria from SoCal, our most favorite place in the world, we always stop by JBJ for pizza or street tacos. In the past, JBJ was one of the only few restaurants that remained open for Christmas day and it was always our go-to restaurant whenever we stay for Christmas week. They have recently closed shop for Christmas, which is a bummer but understandable! Our absolute favorite menu item is their specialty Round Up Combo pizza, but they also serve other items beyond pizza, such as pasta, subs and burgers. JBJ also serve steak street tacos, which are on point and filling. Pair any menu item with a ice cold glass of 805 and call it a day! To-date, I have not been to a pizzeria that I enjoyed more than JBJ - and we've been all over! From California to Texas, where we live now. We'll visit y'all again in spring 2025!
I’ve been going here for a long time and I decided to come here again. The pizza is SO good! The food is so good!! I recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best pizza in Cambria. My go to place for 30 years. Staff is Lovely
I came to Cambria at evening just for a weekend and nothing worked after 8pm accept this pizza place. I am happy I found this place, pizza was hot and tasty, I was eating it for the next day too at the hotel, ingredients are good and flavor is tasty. I would recommend to add some seafood into Mediterranean pizza but it is not too important, all other things are good and prices are adequate. I recommend that place!
2nd time here when visiting Cambria and not only do I like that they're open a little later But where can you go to find Good tacos And pizza under the same roof?! Their food is generally really really good! I had two carne asada tacos with rice and beans and my husband had an individual pizza, both were so good! We showed up 45 mins before they were closing but they helped us as of we were their first clients, they were polite and pleasant the whole time! Highly recommended them!

Been coming here for ages and I always eat here when I visit Cambria. I love the charming old school pizza place vibes. They have old video game cabinets with Mario Bros and Magic Sword. Out door dining is available but I have never used it. My family loves it here too.
It was very delicious. Being from out of town i was very happy to find a pizza place that does the crust the way I like it.
Cute place & sweet girl at the register taking orders. Didn't take very long at all for a burger & a personal pizza. The pizza was okay. The onion rings were THE BEST we ever had. Burger was amazing but the ONION RINGS are so worth it!
This was our first time here and we loved it! The pizza had such a nice balance of flavor and the crust was phenomenal! Highly recommend it!
We are visiting from the UK and stopped at JBJ’s for some takeout. The pasta is fantastic - garlicky, fresh and so tasty. Add chicken to make it even better! Service was unmatched, he even delivered the food to our car. Would 100% recommend.
Ate this place driving back after camping in Big Sur. Great environment, located in a quaint town, super quiet and mellow. Pizza was amazing - fluffy, crunchy, not too greasy. Service was great, overall was an all-time experience. Recommend to anyone stopping in the Cambria area.

The menu is easy to read. We decided to do the custom pizza. You pick the size (medium is what we ordered for $18), and every topping adds $2. We ordered three toppings. If you like pizza that has a nice crunch and is mostly bread- this is the pizza for you. There is a light coating of sauce and spread of toppings. There is plenty of seating the 3 times I've visited this pizza shop. The staff is friendly. It's a nice casual eatery. There are stairs to enter the building.
Pizza was crispy as advertised ! Love the vibes

We stopped here to grab some pizzas to enjoy while we watched the sunset over the water. We waited only about 25-30 min for the pizzas. The crust is exactly what I want in a pizza crust, a crispy outer layer while soft and airy inside. Both pizzas we ordered that stated they had “garlic butter sauce” seemed too dry, like maybe it was just garlic butter being used as a sauce, so it felt like eating a breadstick. The flavor of all the ingredients was really good! If we came again, we would request a different sauce or just avoid pies that used the garlic butter option. The pizza with red sauce didn’t experience this problem. Overall good experience and we would come back.

I moved to Cambria a few months ago and have been exploring the restaurant scene. The service at JBJ Round Up Pizza was excellent, but I won't be returning. So far of the three pizza places in town that I've visited, this one by far had my least favorite pizza.
The food wasn’t tasty but wasn’t bad. The customer service, design, and atmosphere was top notch!
Ordered a Philly sandwich and it oddly has zero taste and a ton of cheese and onion. My husband ordered a meatball sub and it had a total of 3 meatballs in it. Cut in half means there was 1 meatball on one side,(my side because we shared) the rest filled with sauce and a crazy amount of cheese but at least it had taste. We just paid a lot of money for not much of anything. Staff was friendly though, that was nice. Response to owner. This isn't a picture of my leftovers. This is the excessive amounts of onions, cheese and sauce that came from my half of the sandwiches. I will not be removing my review because it's the truth and not misleading. It wasn't worth the money imo.
Customer service was great. The red sauce pizzas have a lot more sauce than cheese. A white sauce with olive oil and garlic sauce is available. Overall, the 5 people in my group thought the pizza was so-so. Interestingly, they said the pizza was better cold the next day.

Third time eating here and was not satisfied. I paid $40 for a jumbo half and half Jody's special and the Chicken Garlic pizza and was sadly very disappointed! The pizza was dry, the crust was good though but I had asked for extra marinara sauce and they went lite on the sauce. The garlic sauce was very light as well therefore you have a really dry pizza. Definitely not worth the money I paid. Customer service was excellent though. Hopefully next time I come back, it will be better.

Smallest portion of spaghetti I have ever been served, came in a 6" container that looked like a side salad, and it was 20 dollars? I opened it up, and the small container wasn't even close to full. Could barely find the sausage that I ordered instead of the meatballs. Also had to pay another three bucks for a tiny little piece of garlic bread. It came to $23 plus a tip for take out, and I was still hungry after finishing. Pasta is the least expensive food product on the planet, you could have done much better for pennies. Seriously, it looked like a child's portion.... I know management won't speak about this on the review, because they know it's true, and they just don't care. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. And I'm local....
I was really disappointed with the food. Both the pizza and the hamburger were tasteless, with no real flavor. The portions were small, and I only ate the pizza because I was starving. Our male waiter was nice and polite, but the two women working didn’t say hello and just stared at us with blank expressions. Overall, I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place.
Among the worst pizza you’ll ever have, period. Good reviews must be for other food, sandwiches maybe. Ate there Feb 27, 2025. Pizza crust was terribly doughy and undercooked, standard toppings were weak and feckless for lack of a better term: the sauce had no flavor, the vegetables were as if you took them out of your refrigerator and sliced them on a cutting board, uncooked, unseasoned. If ever you’ve had a good pizza just picture the opposite. Don’t go there
Service was great till the end. Went in for lunch with 9 people. Everyone enjoyed their food except for the over cooked pizza crust. You would think after spending almost 150 bucks he would of thrown in a as in 1 extra tiny ranch cup in for free nope made sure he told me it was 50 cents...fine whatever but when asked if we could split the bill he told us we can't do that because he already printed out the bill. Then told us we couldn't pay cash and card it would have to be one or the other. Dude really needs to learn how to operate. I miss the old owners. He is a disgrace to the Round up pizza name. Hope he pulls it together.
