Had a blast up here with my family. The taproom is amazing. I would highly recommend the hard cider flights. There is a giant play area for the kids. Endless entertainment for everyone of all ages. I would recommend to get up there early as parking fills up quick. Amazing spot! Highly recommend this spot.
Huge cider flight options. We had the apple grilled cheese panini--hit the spot--I rec adding apple jam/preserve for a sweet-sour-salty treat. Beautiful place. Friendly. Cool breezes. Sunday 2:30 PM.
Best cider in California!! I tend to like the berry type, owners are friendly and kind. Highly recommend 👌 The cider will definitely keep you from turning, its like a magical potion ❤️
Amazing place to take littles. The playground area was the most unique and fun experience for our little guy. The food is slightly pricey but worth it for fun playtime after. Also, so many cider options!! N/A cider as well. The atmosphere is what you are coming for, and they delivered.
What an awesome place for families to visit. My son had so much fun in the park. The sparkling strawberry apple cider was incredible.
Vibes are great. The real airplane for kids to crawl around on is awesome. I've never drank so much cider in my life, they were all SO GOOD. I'll be back.
What a cool place for both adults and kids! We tried a peach cinnamon roll and donuts from the bakery and then played at the kids area across the way. Lots of cool things for the kids to do and hard cider for the adults! There was an old airplane and fire truck, a sandbox, swings and slides and a whole little town to explore. Our daughter had the best time. Can't wait to go back again soon!
Wide variety of Cider flavors with lots of seating to enjoy the great weather. Ended up getting two flights to try 8 flavors and was totally worth it. Came during the off season and was still great!
. Lines weren't too long at all. Beer flights are super cute! Lots of different donut flavors, we got lemon blueberry and apple crumble sooo good! Pressed juice came in many flavors, apple lemon is my favorite
There was an event happening when I stopped in. They had all kinds of station set up for kids. There's a whole menu for hard ciders and then there's a whole another building with the bakery with yummy goodies
Really nice little place. Delicious cider with a lot of variety, and friendly people! I came here with friends for a lovely afternoon today. There's also a really cool little "town" that took me straight back to childhood.

Great place for kids (up to maybe mid-teens). Pirate ship to climb on and through. Large geo dome structures for climbing and exploring. Food prices are almost pre-pandemic ($7 for an all-beef hot dog November 2025). Cider Barn is pretty cool. A combination of a ski lodge and barn with cider flights or you can just purchase bottles if you already know what you want. Giant Jenga blocks just outside the barn for kids and adults too. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your food/cider. Lots of parking but get there before 10 or 11 otherwise you’ll likely have to wait for a spot to open up.
Apple Hill is more than picking apples these days. If you’re an adult looking for adult beverages this is a fun stop. Ciders on tap were plentiful and flavorful. I tried the flight to get a taste of the unique flavors. Some were phenomenal, some unique and only one did finish like a shot to get it over with.

$20 cider flights and a great view. Yummy apple fritters too!
Love thr taproom and Shorty's Doughnuts. They added some more drink items to the menu. I was suprised they had Chai Tea Lattes, Slushies and Matcha. They have frozen whole pies as well ans fresh baked ones. Different kinds of caramel apples. Pastries never let me down. Warm apple fritters, macaroons, cheesecake apple pie, huge cinnamon rolls, apple pie cheesecake doughnut, lemon strawberry bars and I can go on and on. Brought some nice balsamic vinegar from one of the vendors. Kids were able to run and jump. Second time visiting this place and was not disappointed.

Donuts were very good. We did a tasting of 4 different ciders- really liked 2 of them. Playground for kids is very interesting & different-run down. But, kids enjoyed it anyway.

This is a fun place to sample cider and an amazing playground for the kids. What would have been a five star experience was ruined by a guy (the owner?) from Hidden Star with two dogs who asked us to leave in a tone that I can only liken to “get off my lawn”. Google says Hidden Star closes at 6, and he was closing it at 5 due to the season, apparently. Initially we thought just the playground was closing so we moved to the cider area where there were other people still hanging out. He only targeted us though, scolding my wife for serving small glasses of the cider we bought from hidden star to thirsty kids before we walked to the car. It was 5:03 p.m. 🤷

Was hoping you were going to go online and apologize but now I see in the comments you are saying you don't go to farmers markets? Interesting to see you trying to cover this up as if it was another company? I thought maybe we were going to say it was a one off employee or something but looks like you are backing him up? Interesting...

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel compelled to make an exception. I'm sorry to say this farm is not dog-friendly and, honestly, after our experience, I question if it's even people-friendly. We visited the farm with our children, friends, and our dog. I kept my dog on a leash at all times. He is a very friendly puppy, and several adults and children approached us throughout our visit, asking to pet him. We noticed an unleashed adult dog walking around the farm. Our puppy barked at it, likely feeling anxious, but I kept the leash short. The unleashed dog walked past us several times without its owner nearby. Shortly after, a polite young man approached and asked if our dog was upsetting people, as there had been a complaint. We assured him we were being responsible owners and keeping our dog close. He thanked us and left. A few minutes later, while we were picnicking, an older man yelled he was the owner and to "get out of here" because our dog was "aggressive." We were completely shocked, certain this was a misunderstanding, and tried to explain that our dog is very friendly. The owner refused to listen to anything we said, started pointing fingers at my husband, and threatened to call the sheriff. He yelled that the dog walking unleashed on the farm was his, yet insisted that our dog was the problem. I almost regret not staying longer to see the sheriff's reaction after hearing the full story. We felt extremely unwelcome and will never come back, with or without a dog.
You had a real shot at running a solid business, and you threw it straight in the trash. The way you treated that man wasn’t “professional”—it was plain disrespect, and honestly, it reeks of bias. Real men with integrity don’t behave like that. Acting tough doesn’t make you look strong; it exposes how insecure and small you really are. Now you’ve managed to lose respect at home and in the community. Save your money and your dignity—DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
