Can I leave 10 stars??? Cheryl our waitress was phenomenal from start to finish. She kept our entire experience at Joe’s Crab Shack top notch. Now to the food… absolutely delicious the Boil’s best anyone in our party of 7 has ever experienced. See pics attached. Deserts again another game changer. Where from PA or would be regulars here.!!

We had a fantastic time at Joe’s Crab Shack in Oceanside! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot — the steam pots (now in bags not pots) and the BBQ crab legs were especially delicious. The service from the waitress to the manager was excellent, with staff who were attentive and friendly throughout. We even celebrated three birthdays at once, and the team made it feel extra special. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service — we’ll definitely return. I included a picture of our view of the sunset from our table.

Our first time here and definitely will not be the last! Allison our waiter was amazing! My daughter was craving crab legs and she made it so easy to order from the kids menu as well as made a super fun shark drink for my daughter a memory we will never forget! Our food came out fast and delicious!

Excellent food. Our waiter, Tyler was a rock star! He wore a crab costume for a group picture with us. This was our first trip and he made it great. Great suggestions we all enjoyed. You need to eat here! We got 3 souvenir cups and got to keep our crab tool. Such a great experience!

We decided to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary at Joe's Crab Shack, and it was a wonderful experience. Our server, Tyler, greeted us with a "Happy Anniversary" card and seated us at a window-side table overlooking the harbor and sunset, which set the perfect tone for the evening. We started with the sampler, which was absolutely amazing, followed by clam chowder that now ranks in my top five — it was incredible. For our main course, we shared a crab bucket and a shrimp platter with three different types of shrimp, along with fish and hush puppies. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Tyler made our night extra special, getting the whole restaurant to sing "Happy Anniversary" to us, and even had us share a kiss next to a giant inflatable wedding ring. It was fantastic! Thank you to the team at Joe's Crab Shack and especially to Tyler for making our night memorable.

This is the first time I’ve been to Joe’s! We got the hot peeled shrimp and then snow crab, king crab, and Alaskan crab bucket…WOW! Reuben the supervisor was really great and check in with us multiple times to see how everything was going and our waitress Ciera was a sweetie pie. The atmosphere is so cool and the view of the marina was breath taking. We’re here for the weekend so we’ll be back tomorrow for more. Thanks for the great food guys. Best crab I’ve ever had!!

Excellent environment, chill, beautiful, family friendly or great for a couple outing. Also great for celebrating children's bday with close family, waitress was kind to hand write bibs and sing happy birthday. Had a really great time, however $$. Prepare to spend about $45-$60 per adult.

This was a nice place! My kids had lobster tails, the hubby had fish & chips and I had fish tacos. The tacos were delicious! Lobster was yummy too! Pretty good fish & chips. We weren't a fan of the crab cake though. And it took quite awhile to get our food. We would definitely come back 😁

The battered fish & fries was my lunch choice at this popular harbor side venue. And the food was okay. Just what most would expect. Facilities were clean and parking was free & easy. Wait staff were slow or very busy else where. Never had a return visit to refill my ice tea & I had to track down waitress for mustard &:ketchup. Inside vibe was nice & view of harbor couldn't be better.

The view from our small table in the corner by the bar was great. Hubby and I went for date night and we had 2 cocktails each and sampler platter and a the captains steamer basket. Seafood was good but a little salty. Don't forget to ask for lemon 😉. The bartender was great and doubled as our server since we were in his section. Overall we spent about $150 and had a great time. Plus I got to keep my cute pint glass.

I really wanted to love this visit because it’s been years, and we always stroll past it at the harbor but the experience ended up feeling pretty middle-of-the-road. Our server, Michelle, was kind, but we rarely saw her, and even simple things like water refills took a while. The calamari came out dry, and the kids’ pizza was… rough. It looked like spaghetti marinara poured on top of a crust and left under a heat lamp a little too long and oddly, it was brought out last, after our crab boil and my Captain’s dish. With a $120 tab and no alcohol, it just didn’t match the quality or service we hoped for. I hate saying it, because I genuinely wanted this to be a nostalgic return, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

Tried quite a few dishes here: New England Clam Chowder, Joe’s Classic Sampler, the Cajun Joe’s Famous Boil, Peel & Eat Shrimp, Seafood Platter, and a Passion Fruit Mocktail. The clam chowder was served cold at first, but the staff quickly replaced it with a hot one when we mentioned it. From the sampler, the calamari was very chewy and the coating wasn’t great, but the crab and shrimp dip was delicious. We enjoyed the Great Balls of Fire and the coconut shrimp from the seafood platter. The Cajun crab was fun to crack open and tasty to eat. We did find veins in a couple of the peel & eat shrimp, but they replaced them when we pointed it out. The Passion Fruit Mocktail was refreshing and a nice way to wrap up the meal. The harbor view was beautiful and definitely added to the overall experience.

Well, came in with my daughter. Took an uber here. It took a server almost 10 minutes to greet us. Took another 7 min to get 2 drinks. Ordered wings to start and steak for our entree. Now, this place only had 7 tables total. It took 40 min for our steaks to come out and our wings arrived 5 min after put steaks. Not dressed with celery and carrots. Why bring it out not dressed.l and then another server came by she said they are checking to see of they even have celery and carrots. And the total bummer we both cut into our steaks and I stead of being medium they came out well done. So we've been here an hour and havent had the best experience. Very frustrated. Being super hungry we are both a little irritable. Server was however nice. We've now finished our dinner (lunch/dinner) Update, the kitchen manager remade our steaks, they were on point. He also remade our overcooked shrimp. 🙏 i thank him. Both steaks and shrimp were cooked to perfection. Im thankful for that/him.

My wife I went there around 4:00 pm and waited for ten minutes before any host spoke with us. Then despite the restaurant being half empty we were informed it would be twenty minutes before we could be seated??? We left, never to return. Do better “Joe”
