I was a bit apprehensive paying that much for a Buffett. My son was paying so what the heck. The food here was excellent. The egg rolls on the Asian bar was like I have not seen in a while. Very good. There were great salads and sides. There is a carving station and many tasty deserts. All the beverages were included.
We had free Continental breakfast here for 3 days since we were staying at the hotel. Food was amazing each and every morning. I don't know exactly how much it cost, but I know it wasn't cheap. Well worth it though. They had everything you could ask for except the coffee and juice machine would run out often. Even though they had lots of staff hurrying around to clean up and refill, the machines sometimes took a bit to get some attention. Lines were always long in the entrance to the restaurant as well as in the buffet line. People were rude and cutting in and out making it somewhat chaotic. But if you have a little extra patience, you could have a great experience here. The decor was adorable folding the Lego themed characters everywhere. Tables weren't terribly close together. There was plenty of seating indoors and also on the patio outside. There were always bees outside though.
I don't think we would have gone to the breakfast buffet if it wasn't free and part of the hotel, but, since it was, we partook. The food was filling and satisfying for our whole group. The kid sized buffet was perfect for little ones to get whatever they wanted, although, they probably could have offered some fruit in that section too. Worth taking advantage of since there are so many people, the quick turnover kept the lines moving and the food fresh. Good buffet for an amusement park/themed hotel.
This restaurant was wonderful! We stayed at the hotel. We took advantage of the buffet for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. Such a great value. They had something for everyone. We also enjoyed the free breakfast buffet the next morning. We really enjoyed it. I was impressed by the high quality and variety of food for both meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay awesome!
Ate here for both breakfast (twice) and dinner during our stay at the Legoland Hotel. The food is a little hit or miss, with some items excellent (e.g., corned beef hash, chimichurri beef) and others of lower quality (e.g., powdered eggs), but enough variety that you can easily fill your plate with a delicious meal. Service is adequate for a buffet, though reservations are recommended to make sure you get a table.
I had very low expectations. I was incredibly impressed with both breakfast and dinner. This is a solid buffet that is well worth the cost, especially if you package it with your hotel stay. Don't shy away thinking all there will be is chicken strips accompanied by macaroni and cheese. Those things are here for the kids, but there is plenty to delight adults.
The food is outstanding every time we visit the theme park. I highly recommend you make reservations a day in advance. You’ll be unable to reserve on the day of your visit, especially on a busy weekend. There’s a great variety of ethnic and everyday American dinners, and dessert. Only thing missing is an ice cream machine but the delicious dessert variety makes up for it. If you have an annual pass, they apply a 20% discount. My guests were highly impressed with the quality of food and the kids had so much fun with the Lego characters that walked around the restaurant.
This is one of our favorite things to do at Legoland. They have plenty of gluten free options and the staff is amazing. The food is wonderful, with tons of variety! The decor is so cute. Shoutout to Chef Ed, who always makes our trip special! We love how helpful, knowledgeable and helpful Chef Ed is. Thank you so much!
Great variety of food and servers are quick to pick up used plates. Only complaint is why isn’t there an ice cream machine at a buffet!? Also the lemonade from the soda machine had a bad taste to it. Other than there was a guy in a banana suit taking photos with the kiddos and clean food area.
Plenty of options, didn’t have to wait long for seating. Staff was nice and friendly, trays stayed full , just wished they had turkey bacon for us that don’t have pork. Besides that we had a great experience.
My foster sons trip they loved it and so did I there is food for everyone 😋!!!!all ages. The warm hospitality we felt welcome from every person when we arrived on site!!!!
Very impressed by the breakfast buffet! Fresh and hot food with good flavors. I went for scrambled eggs, pork sausages, pancakes, fruit and pastries.

It’s really frustrating to make a reservation as the app wasn’t working so we made a reservation directly with the staff when we at lunch at Skyline Cafe. We had a 7:30 reservation that they did honor but they overbooked so we were standing outside with 5 kids and 4 adults for about 10 minutes waiting for a table. I don’t think the food is worth the price as it’s cafeteria food being marked up. Also the entrance is outside which is confusing and difficult to get to when the lobby has a lego building session and people/chairs blocking the doors to the patio. It doesn’t make sense to me why it’s so hard to get a reservation and the traffic from the hallway can’t enter from inside the hotel. It’s a logistical nightmare that at the end of a long day walking around the park, swimming at the waterpark and pool, then getting all the kids back to the hotel, dressed, and ready for dinner I’m too exhausted to deal with any more problems.
For dinner, food was actually really good, delicious even!!! I was worried because of some of the comments here and even more so when I went and saw the price ($16 kids $29 Adults). Had several different items on the plate. Prime Rib, pork belly, mashed potatoes (on point) and rice all savory and delicious. For Breakfast it was complimentary so can't really say much other than for the most part it was a continental breakfast. Coffee was sub-par as other have mentioned. But for a free bfast can't complain.
This place is awesome... good for kids, good food, GREAT service. Two items that lost them one star... Burgers are all cooked gray all the way through. The kitchen is not allowed to serve it even medium rare. The Impossible burger was a better choice. The second is a VERY limited selection of spirits, and no Rye whiskey. Competent bartenders, but they are working with their hands tied. We have dinner here every night of our stays at the resort!
The food are okay, staffs are so great. We have Judy @ waitress and Lupita @ cashier helped us on the Christmas Eve at 6:30pm. They are so nice and we appreciated. (Hope I spelled the correct name). A great buffet choice for you with kids at the night of stay in the legoland hotel. Kids have their favorite Mac cheese and pizza, adult have salads and steak. Choice of juice, soda and milk.
We've been here a few times. The kids always enjoy the food. The atmosphere is very Lego. The last call for food is 8:15 pm, and the last reservation that can be booked is 8pm. There's not much time to eat. It is a bit pricey for a buffet.
We went here after spending the day at Legoland. Super convenient. Got there right when it opened at 5pm and was seated fairly quickly. There isn't a ton but the selection worked well for us. Plus the roasted veg was some of the best I've ever had. Loved that the Lego characters came by during the meal so we could take pics. The kids loved it.
It's a great place for kids even if you are not a Legoland Hotel guest. It worth driving to within 14-20 miles because it doesn't end up by just eating. The food is decent and prices reasonable.

We ended our first day at the resort with a supper buffet. They had a carving station with a couple meat options, they also had pizza, tator tots, and other foods that our son liked. With your stay you also get breakfast in the morning included. The breakfast buffet also had a lot of options that often was a balance between what kids like and what the parents like. Still for a breakfast that is included it was really good. Overall we all got full and maybe even ate more than we needed. They do take reservations so if you want to be sure to get in at the time you want, go ahead and make a reservation.
This breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Selection changes slightly day to say but there is plenty to choose from, and even fountain drinks! Check in being outside is weird but doable. But we saw loads of people sneaking in from the inside and finding their own seat. No one was watching the exit for that. Make sure to reserve ahead of time. Dinner was much better than expected!! We only did one night, and even at the discounted price was $80 for two adults and two kids! While we enjoyed the food, we elected to get other dinner our other nights for much cheaper. Almost no service, just being seated and then plates cleared. One of the employees got after a family for standing in the walk-in line, even though there was indeed a clearly labeled walk-in line and then doubled down after folks explained this. That was uncomfortable for everyone around and was unprofessional. Multiple types of hot food is lukewarm at best. That's probably the biggest critique I have.

Breakfast included with hotel stay still required a prior reservation. Ridiculous. Poor quality food but, good choices for kids. It's like a cafeteria with 50 screaming 😱 toddlers. Dinner character buffet was again, poor quality and they had the policeman. We've been in the park multiple times and restaurants and we seem to NEVER see Emmit. He's the only character most kids want to see! ugh. The customer service was fabulous 👌 in all areas though
We ate here twice during our stay. Once for dinner and once for the included breakfast. Both times the food was good but service was subpar. The dinner service was not bad, but not great. They do have a bar which was nice. All the food we had was better than expected for dinner. We were tired and didn’t feel like driving anymore. Breakfast service was pretty bad. It is a buffet. With a few exceptions. If you want an omelette your waiter will need to get it for you, along with your drinks. We waited over 30 minutes to get in. There were 4 employees at the hostess desk while there were many dirty tables waiting to be cleaned. The food was pretty good though.
Food was not good. Almost every entree is too spicy that it hides the real taste of the food. The chocolate cake is the only thing I enjoyed.
Huge disappointment! Expected to have nice dinner in peace with good food after a long and tiring day. Unfortunately, the food, service and management were not good. The only thing I respect is the hardworking of employees to clean up tables and get ready for next guests. There was no utensils, plates were wet, meals were cold and nobody was there to ask anything. I asked to Banana Figure and he did not even know. It is obvious that managing theme park is different business than managing restaurant.
TL;DR Abysmal overpriced buffet! 1 star because it’s a kids place and my kids loved it, the second for their variety - or maybe just a pity star? This buffet was $130 for 2 adults and 2 kids. What we got was likely frozen and then deep fried chicken strips, overcooked tots, pizza, and a yogurt bar for the kids. It’s nothing above what you would expect a frat house potluck to be. For the adults the food they had was clearly not fresh (soggy egg rolls) and mostly mushy vegetables. There was randomly decent “Crispy Pork Belly” that was in no way crispy. But it ended up being the only redeeming and flavorful aspect of the entire buffet. The dessert bar was a couple of sheet cakes cut up and tons of grocery store bakery level cookies. Cheap cupcakes rounded it out. It also wasn’t obvious from the website this was a buffet as it says “family restaurant” as the tag line. I wasn’t surprised spending $100+ on vacation for a meal, but I only ate out of pure exhaustion and because my kids loved the scenery. As a side note, I walked past it multiple times and the buffet is hidden (purposefully?) at one end behind low walls. Even looking at it was not easy to decipher this was a terrible buffet.
Dinner buffet.. Extremely overpriced (as expected) around $35 per person, but honestly thought it'd have some decent food. There were separate cuisine sections with 3-4 dishes each, which most of the time remained empty. One of the employees said there was a rush and that they were trying to catch up. Thought that was weird considering it was 6pm on a Friday night....shouldn't you be expecting that?? Anyway, there was a kid's section with chicken tenders, tater tots, fruit, velveeta mac& cheese, and cardboard pizza. You also pay and tip up front for literally no service. you get everything on your own...we even bussed our own table, lol. Breakfast buffet.. only went because it was free with every night we stayed. Pretty decent-eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits/gravy, fruit, bagels, yogurt, granola, and cereals. Yes to free breakfast, hell no to the worst dinner I've ever had.
We were here for complimentary breakfast that came with the buffet. Pretty bad… coffee is like water, disgusting smoothies, i don’t think that I have ever tried Minute Maid orange juice before and it is gross. Cut melon and cantaloupe were not ripe and had hard edges that should have been cut off with peel. They told us that they are vegan friendly… well sort of, we found soy milk, oatmeal, potatoes, one salad, bread and inedible fruit. For the money they charge per room I would expect something of better quality.
Not a good experience here. Had future reservations and I canceled them after dinner tonight. The staff were seating other large parties ahead of ours; we got sat next to the bussers station so it was foul smell and constant crashing of dishes throughout our entire dinner, which wasn’t cheap either. Also, where we sat was a constant flow of buffet traffic, so every few seconds other patrons were bumping into us and squeezing by all sides of our table. Kids were dropping utensils on the floor then putting them back for anyone else to take. And the flies! Flies buzzing around and sitting on all the food throughout the buffet, so gross! I most definitely could not return after seeing that!
After a long day of loud music and over stimulation we went to the Bricks Family restaurant for dinner, where we were continuously attacked with loud rock and roll music for the duration of our dinner. You really get the feeling they don't want you there for long. You pay in advance, which means you tip in advance, like tipping is expected and not provided at the conclusion of good service. The food tasted good and there were lots of options but the kids buffet is the only place we found vegetables that weren't draped in sugary sauces (except the one mix salad bowl). My son did not like the taste of the chocolate cake or the red velvet cupcake, and I enjoyed fresh fruit and yogurt for dessert, but again from the kids buffet. The maple glazed salmon tasted really good, as did the flank steak. My mum enjoyed the pork spring roll and the vegetarian beans. The coffee and decaf was only available in "to go" cups, and the only tea available was chamomile. But the sugary drink fountains were working hard. I'm glad we went, but I don't need to go again.
Wait staff have a really poor and unwelcoming attitude. They'd obviously rather be elsewhere and it's disappointing their management don't pull them into line. Food range is decent but unfortunately for us we had an anaphylactic allergy incident despite discussing allergies with the restaurant. The restaurant were really accommodating though and thoroughly discussed our concerns and did everything they feasibly could to help reduce risk so I put down our allergy incident to a case of bad luck. The good thing was they responded with care and immediately informed management and their on site park medic. The medic came to check on us as we had also taken immediate action to administer anti histamines. What was disappointing is that the restaurant did not offer to compensate the cost of the meal for my son who couldnt eat there. Management also said they would check in on us the following day but they didn't. Fortunately all was ok and my son recovered without incident.
We were staying at a hotel down the road but chose to eat dinner here after spending the day at Legoland. I thought it would be a fun themed dinner to send us off. But instead it was super disappointing. We paid about $115 for four of us. We walked in and it was so crowded. Tables are right next to each other, it’s loud, literally felt like a cafeteria. The kids food was pretty on par, all of the things my kids typically eat.. pizza, tater tots, Mac n cheese, etc. both my kids placed pizza onto their plate and then it slipped right off onto the floor (twice!). Then we saw another kid do the same thing. So maybe pizza with a denser crust instead of the paper thin cardboard would be better. For the regular buffet, there was quite a selection of different types of foods. Some of it I was actually really excited for and it was just meh and not super flavorful. Then some things were just flat out gross. Dessert didn’t make up for much. The only thing I really enjoyed was the Caesar salad. It’s a self serve buffet so staff service is pretty minimal. But at one point they ran out of forks. I asked someone for more, she yells into the back room “FORKS!” Then someone else comes out with forks. And EVER SO SLOWLY begins placing the forks into the cups by pairs of 2. So there is now a line building up behind her as she is restocking the forks 2 by 2. Eventually I had to be rude and squeeze in front of her before my food got cold. One of the machines was out of ice. The plates are cheap plastic. Tables are small, we were constantly on the verge of accidentally knocking something off the table. It was just a let down for over $100 and there are so many other places we missed out on that would have been better.
The atmosphere is what you are paying for. The food was absolutely terrible for the price you pay. Some food tasted like it was leftovers from the morning buffet. The only thing that really tasted decent were the desserts.
Although it is disheartening to speak ill of food prepared through someone's hard work, I am writing this candid review in the hope that the company, rather than the diligent staff, will address the need for significant improvements to the food's quality. The employees who assisted us were all remarkably hardworking and friendly, and I was thoroughly satisfied with their service. The primary issue, however, was the quality of the meal itself. While I did not grow up in the United States and have never eaten in an American middle or high school cafeteria, I have often seen pictures online depicting its notoriously poor standards. The dishes at this restaurant seemed to be a faithful recreation of those images. The quality was of a standard one rarely encounters. To make a comparison, the closest item might be a McDonald's McMuffin, yet the food here prompted me to wonder if a McMuffin would be superior. We ate the breakfast simply because it was included with our hotel stay; our decision not to have dinner here was, in retrospect, a wise one. While it is possible the dinner quality is vastly different, I remain skeptical. Ultimately, aside from the sheer convenience of being able to dine in the hotel before heading directly to Legoland, the quality of the food was an experience I never wish to repeat.
We stayed at legoland California hotel for 2 nights so obviously we got 2 free breakfasts at Bricks. Breakfast buffet (since it was included with the stay) was pretty decent. Great hot food options like biscuits & gravy, different sausages, eggs, waffles, pancakes (different menu on 2 mornings) however I also bought dinner for one night thinking we’d be too tired to drive outside the resort to go eat. Mistake!! For a family of four, including 20% discount (bc I paid in advance when booking) I paid something like $80. I expected something way better for that $. To be fair, they had a few good dishes like steak with chimichurri sauce, pork belly, good salads but def not worth $80. The whole kitchen area gave me a school cafeteria vibe with plastic kids plates and the service wasn’t that great. I don’t mind spending a lot of money on food as long as it’s worth it (bc it would’ve been over $100 normally) but unfortunately this wasn’t.. There are tons of of GREAT restaurants within 10 mins from the resort. We did that the 2nd night and spent $75 for waaayyy better quality food.
Staffs are friendly, the place is clean. But the food selection is very limited. The quality of food is average. I can comfortably say it is compatible with home town buffet but with a fewer selection and it is pricey. Adult prices at $27.xx but with an LEGOLAND package upgrade (+ $89), there's a 20% discount. The location is convenient since it is just outside of the LEGOLAND's entrance with less than a minute walking distance. Beware, their kitchen closes around 8:30
This place serves a purpose but it’s not exactly an ideal spot for food. Kind of loud and intense. They make you get reservations, which I understand, but is still kind of annoying.

This place needs the health dept called! Absolutely disgusting! My sis got a Diet Coke and when she got back to the table, there was a ball of slime floating on the top!!!! Absolutely disgusting. We couldn’t even finish breakfast after that and will never be back!
The food is dry and unappealing. The variety is random and not fulfilling. For the money, I should be satisfied but instead I feel like I’ve been to a restaurant where they serve you day old leftovers from fast food places.
wow it was terrible. we were really looking forward to it because thought the kids would love it. even they did not like the food quality it was so bad. variety looks good but none of it tasted good. For 2 kids 2 adults we paid $130
I would give it 0 stars if I could. The only thing ediable were the desserts and chicken strips. Those are pretty hard to mess up. We tried plate after plate but the food was cold and terrible. So bad a person at the table next to us threw up! So gross. They brought a character out to distract people from the vomit on the floor. We paid over $90 and I would rather eat at Golden Corral and that is bad. Save your money . Same thing with the breakfast, cold and not that great. I ended up eating a lot of bagels and fruit. My husband will eat almost anything and he was pushing away plate after plate. Go to pick up Stix. Hot fresh food and a quarter of the price.
Two adults and two kids set us back $80 but we expected to pay a lot of money for a restaurant in the park. However, the food was horrible. It was cold and terribly cooked and limited in variety. The atmosphere wasn't anything special even with the extremely kind and attentive staff. We could have spent half the money at another buffet chain and gotten a better atmosphere and much better food. The food was so gross. Don't eat here unless you're okay dropping that kind of money on cheese pizza and ice cream.
Truly terrible food quality. I expected more for over $30 per person. Also, I tipped 20% thinking there would be service and there was none. You get all your own food and drinks like buffet style.
This is regarding the dinner buffet. This was our first time at Legoland Resort and decide to try Bricks' dinner buffet. Don't waste your money. There is barely a selection, employees look unhappy, and there was no one at the pasta station so we couldn't utilize that. Food was mediocre. Not worth what we paid per person. Legoland needs to revamp this place or shut it down. Such a bad first impression for us.
Terrible food. It was all old and they never restocked it with fresh food for the 1.5 hours we were there. Only 2 types of very mediocre cake were left and a few bland sugar cookies. Much of the food you could tell had been sitting for several hours and they never made more, despite rice and noodles being crunchy and crispy from having sat for so long. Even if it were half the price I would not recommend. We went at 6pm, 2.5 hours before close, they had not excuse for that poor old dry awful food. Never again.

You have to wait a long time in the cold weather outside to get a table for breakfast unless you go very early or very late. It happened twice to us in our two-day stay at the hotel. Terrible experience to start the day.
Omg the dinner food is so bad and its going to cost you almost 200 bucks for 5 people. Just go in town and eat . Ugh it's really bad food . The amount of time we had to spit out food into napkins was insane.
Ate dinner w/ 2 adults & 2 kids, 120 out the door. Terrible food. Variety of junk food options for the kids so at least they were fed, although even my youngest commented on the pizza being so hard he couldn’t eat it. At first the adults food options sounds good after being at Lego land but once you start trying some of it you realize that you made a big mistake eating here. All Food was terrible and you should go somewhere else for dinner. The price would have been fine if there was better food.
You have to wait a long time in the cold weather outside to get a table for breakfast unless you go very early or very late. It happened twice to us in our two-day stay at the hotel. Terrible experience to start the day.
Ate dinner w/ 2 adults & 2 kids, 120 out the door. Terrible food. Variety of junk food options for the kids so at least they were fed, although even my youngest commented on the pizza being so hard he couldn’t eat it.
