As a midwesterner, I always hold a special place in my heart for in-n-out. I truly do think Californians take it for granted. Their burgers are simply amazing for the price, time, and scale of their chain. No matter what location you visit the quality remains the same. Its really impressive. My order is always the same: double-double with fries, all animal style, on the burger: sub chopped onion for a whole grilled onion, mustard grilled patties, and extra toasted bun. Cant go wrong.

I know In-N-Out doesn’t need my five-star review, but here it is anyway. Every time I’m in California—or anywhere that has an In-N-Out—I make it a point to stop. Hands down, it’s the best burger in the country, especially for the price. A Double-Double, fries, and a shake for under $13? Unbeatable. What really impresses me is the consistency. No matter which location I visit, the quality and service are always on point. I travel all over the country for work and get to try a lot of places, but In-N-Out remains a favorite. I just wish you’d open in Florida so my family could enjoy it too. Huge fan.

Come here every week. Drive thru and parking can get a little hectic and tricky, especially during rush hours, but their quality is always consistently good, as anyone would expect.

Everyone wanted to the drive-thru at this location so we were in line for 15 minutes. This could have been avoided by ordering inside which I would've done if it wasn't for my napping toddler in the backseat. I ordered a Cheeseburger which tasted amazing as expected - the secret is in the grilled onions and a side of fries. So fresh so simple and so good. In-N-Out is hard to beat just wish we had one in Vancouver Canada!

I noticed that the food quality in In-N-Out is always consistent anywhere you'd dine (California and Nevada) so that's a given.This branch has more welcoming staff though. We arrived a bit early for their opening time but someone walked to us and asked us if we were waiting; as we said yes, he told us that they'll be opening 10 minutes ahead of schedule so we won't have to wait for a long time.

Stopped late at night… 1:15 am - 15 minutes before closing. Great group of young people running the place doing an amazing job. This is a really solid In-N-Out, maybe even one of the best. Service was fast and my animal style double double was as good as always- maybe even slightly saucier with bread that was nice and soft, unlike other locations where I often get stale and hard bread- but the true highlight were the fries. I got my animal style fries, as usual, but typically that is because the In-N-Out fries on their own are soggy, flavourless, and sad, mediocre at best and very honestly low-tier among fast food fries; the fries here were actually good! The fries were crispy, seasoned with a light but actually noticeable serving of salt, and had a real potato flavour instead of that of vague carbs. Maybe I just got lucky, but the fries at this location I could order and enjoy plain, which is a huge testament to whoever prepared the food.

In my opinion the best "fast" burger in the country. Quality ingredients and a well crafted burger make this burger satisfying. The bun is fresh and fluffy, the tomato is thick and substantial, the lettuce, the onion, everything is just perfect. This restaurant has a limited menu which is actually why they're able to focus on doing it well. We're from the east coast but whenever I'm on the west coast I always make a stop here . I just ordered food from Armando, in the cold of California winter (not too bad) but he is the first guy that works at in and out that cared to explain the difference between a regular burger with or without onions, I mean, basically he just basically taught me how to order at In-N-Out and it’s been years that I come to In-N-Out and I never know how to order cause I think it’s like a really complicated menu for some reason I don’t know why I can’t figure it out but he basically taught me how to order the animal fries nobody’s ever explained to me the animal fries and I even had a nephew that worked in and out, and he never explained to me and you know like the spread and all that stuff and I just really appreciate the time he took to explain to me in the most calm you know non-condescending sweet manner so I really think Armando has potential to likebe something big in this company and I hope you guys acknowledge and give him kudos for being an amazing In-N-Out worker like I said, I’ve been too many many In-N-Out and nobody has ever treated me the way Armando did (he treated me with special care and lots of empathy) and it was just very memorable and I wanna thank you all for hiring him. I recently visited this In-N-Out location and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. My group ordered three fries, a Double-Double cheeseburger, and a 3x3 burger, and everything met my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, greeting us warmly and getting the order ready quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The food was fresh and delicious. The fries were clearly cut fresh in-house and served piping hot, which really makes a difference compared to frozen fries you get elsewhere. the dining area and restrooms were clean. Back in CA for a few days and had to get In-N-Out. Opted for extra cheese and raw onion this time. Fries of course and a drink. $12.34!!!! Still pretty cheap. I ate in the dining room. There was a dining room attendant who was friendly and kept the place clean. John, who took my order, was also friendly and had a smile on his face. Drive-thru was packed as usual. Waiting patiently for In-N-Out to open closer to Kentucky. Great job!!!!!

Great place to stop of you are hungry. It's a California classic. This one is located right off the freeway. Super convenient stop. There is plenty of parking in the lot and a drive through. Gas stations as you head back to the freeway after grabbing some food too. The line for the drive through can get pretty long, just like with all in and out locations. This location is very consistent with the quality of all the other locations that I have been to.

I really like their setup where all the fries are on one side of the kitchen and the hamburger prep was on the other side with the dish washing and cleaning at the back of the kitchen. 1st time in an in-n-out burger being from the Midwest. It was a pretty good burger, I'm sure because I got it plain it detracts from what the whole experience of Animal Style I hear about is but I would say overall it's a great fast food burger buttery grilled buns, super melt cheese, and two thin (almost smash) patties doesn't get much better. The fries were also super fresh and hand cut right in the store. I got a chocolate shake as well. The only thing I didn't like was the paper straw it was served with, but the shake itself was good.

This is a fast food burger joint that you only find in southern California. They supposedly only use fresh, unfrozen ingredients. They have a very limited menu of burgers or cheese burgers with fries and soda. The burgers are tasty, but I wasn't sure what to think of their fries. While they were fresh, hot and crispy, they were lacking a bit of inner softness. They weren't bad, just different.

A standard In-n-Out. The burgers are good. Not great, not bad, maybe a bit above average. Not cheap, but not overly expensive either. Fries are made from fresh cut potatoes. Service is relatively quick. Menu is very limited and simple: burgers and fries. I always get my burgers "without spread and protien style"

Amazing how busy this place was yet everything was coming to the counter quickly. The girl that took my order was super patient with me since I was ordering something not really listed on the menu, protein style. Shame we don't have this place in Ohio. A treat for sure when I travel out West for work.

Delicious quality burgers, just be prepared to wait if you are in one of the rush hours. Afterall, In-N-Out are known to be in high traffic areas amd this place is no exception. The prime real estate between In-N-Out and Chik-Fil-A means it will always be a battle of wits and patience finding parking during prime hours. At least on every day but Sunday.

Happy with the service and location, it was actually easy to get in and out lol. I ordered a number 2 which is the cheeseburger and noticed my ticket said hamburger so before it came out I notified the staff and they added cheese without any problem. I really appreciated the willingness to correct the situation. The place was clean and it was pleasant to eat in.

Cheeseburgers/hamburgers are just as good as other locations. When you order well done fries (which should come out crispy) from the secret menu, the Carlsbad Avenida Encinas location rings up the order correctly (the receipt shows well done fries), but the fries aren't crispy. This has happened on the last several visits. Apparently the fry station person is not reading the order, or maybe is just too focused on order throughput to get the fry order correct. The Encinitas Calle Magdalena location always gets the well done fry order correct.

I was told eating here is a California rite of passage. It was terrible food. Fries were awful. No pickle unless you know to ask Burger King is better. Sorry!

Payed for a double and a triple only to find out when I got home that they gave me a single and a double with ingredients I didn’t ask for. Check your order before you leave this location.

After spending nearly $40, for a quick bite for the family. I would say that this is easily hands down the worst fast-food ever! Upon arrival the guy with the mobile order kiosk gets the order wrong, then we correct it at the payment window, that wasn't even the bad part, because hey, we're all human and make mistakes...stuff happens. However, I've had under the heat lamp day old Wendy's fries that had more flavor and freshness than what was served to us here. The consistency was stale, limp cardboard. The burgers were less than satisfying, I'm not exactly sure what the big hype of this chain is, "Always Fresh" that motto is something to laugh at, especially when you eat their fries! i will never eat or visit another in-n-out again. Ever. However if you're considering this as meal option...don't! Save yourself the hassle and just opt for another fast food chain. Better yet, go to Slater's 50/50 for an amazing burger experience!

Yuk. We spent $24 for 2 double-doubles and 2 animal fries and drove it home, just a mile away. Got soggy fries, poorly made burgers, and flavorless buns. Is this what $24 buys now at In-N-Out? I am open to a refund, credit, and apology, if you guys care enough. The chain used to be so good. First time in over a year that I came back to your restaurant, and I'm still regretting it.
