Loved this place. James was our server and he did a phenomenal job! Not only was he very personable and timely, he gave us great recommendations of things to see in Lake Tahoe. I didn’t get pictures of my food, but I had the Newport burger, my daughter had the wings and it was amazing. Delicious and timely.

Randomly looking for a place to eat. Decided to stop in here. Excellent choice. The food was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Our waitress/hostess Lindsey was the best. Super friendly and made our dining experience better. Will definitely be coming back

Lindsey is The Best Waitress Ever. The food is just as amazing as she is. The Midtown Cheesesteak is the best I have had yet! This place hit the spot. I will definitely be back when in Tahoe City!

Food was amazing and the the service great. I had the fat cat fries and the gluten free brownie. The brownie was delicious and just as good as a normal brownie. They have gluten free options for other things as well. If you also have gluten issues it is a great place to come will 💯 be returning.

Big Portions for the meals and had patio seating that was dog friendly! We were seated within 5 minutes on a Saturday 2p so wasn't much of a wait at all for the circumstances. Plenty of choices for everyone and the appetizers were really good too! Will visit again when we are in town!

Outstanding food and drinks! Ate here several times while in Lake Tahoe area and always great. The staff was always friendly, even when they were slammed with orders/patrons. Burgers were very tasty, the crawdaddy fries and salmon entrees were excellent. Even tried their locally made root-beer in an ice cream float. Fantastic! If all that wasn't enough, Fat Cat is one of the very few places that remains open even when all the other nearby restaurants close for the night (before the sun has even set). Highly, highly recommended!

Oh man. This place was our SPOT! Came here every day we could. Raschel was the QUEEN! As a former bartender I appreciated her service so much! Not only was this the only place in town that carried Rainer beer (our favorite from our home state-Washington) but she was on POINT! We finally tried the food and it was amazing! People here were rad....other servers here were great too but we love love LOVE this place!!!!! Definitely a must see!

This place is a gem. The tuna salad was an excellent dish, the tuna was moist and tasty with great flavors and the salad had plenty of pepitas, dried cranberries, and some of other goodies, I do have to say that is one of the best salads I've had, I compare it to the mixed restaurants you find around the city of San Francisco for portions and tastiness. The Mac and cheese were good, you get 4 and they are definitely not sharable because they are so good. We forgot the name of the Mac and cheese but it had mushrooms and bacon, it was also excellent. The kale salad wasn't tossed, maybe it was stated on the menu but they had no problem tossing it for us. I do have to say that the frisky cocktail didn't taste as good as we were hoping and the fries were super salty especially the regular fries but the garlic fries tasted good. The service was outstanding, Jessica was prompt on taking our orders, she was friendly and had a legitimately kindness in her voice, she helped us with the menu and was not pushy. She kept checking on us regarding the quality of the food and asking if we needed anything else, she was presentable and clean. I didn't get to interact with the bartender but they seem nice too, maybe next time. We will be staying around but we might come back before we leave because, well, it's obvious we loved it. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Laid back ski town feel Great burgers with interesting options. The doughnut burger was interesting and worth trying but not a weekly repeat. The only negative is that the amount of burger could be increased as the bun size decreased. Overall would come back :)

This place has many American options, including burgers and sandwiches. I had the chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese balls as an appetizer, and both tasted alright. They were well presented, but the chicken sandwich was a little on the dryer side. The food is good but nothing special. The servers are nice, and the restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere.
