One star for atmosphere. I was told the old guy that thinks the table is his personal drum set comes in there every night, and he's been asked multiple times to stop but has no consideration for others. Maybe do something about that. Service and food are superb. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing CB’s - Having the Turkey Gumbo on a cold day and it is absolutely incredible!!!

The BBQ menu is amazing! Pulled pork sandwiches or ribs some of the best I have had. Now Ice cream window! 18 flavors!! We eat here often for lunch and dinner. Food is always good especially for the price. Gyros are great, salads, pizzas and sandwich 's PLUS daily specials! Great service always worth the wait if busy.

We stopped in CB’s bistro for lunch on our way to South Lake. And wow what a surprise! Wonderful out of the way place but right off the main road. The food was delicious. Best classic burger I’ve had in a long time, cooked to order and pizza with a great crispy crust, fresh ingredients and a super good sauce. Loved the vibe there. Great music and also super clean! Zach, one of the owners, was so personable . Definitely a place I will regularly go back to!

My boyfriend and I went here for a date night and it was wonderful!! They had live music which was really good! We ordered a pizza and got a medium. It fed us both with leftovers. The crust is a thin crust and it is soooo good...and that's coming from someone who prefers thick crust. The owner of this pizza shop is so nice and friendly. He has a sweet dog named Lucy that greets you at the door as well. We cant wait to come back.

Between the service and the food this is by far one of the best dining experiences i've had probably ever. Forgot to ask his name but we were served by the owner and he was awesome. He recommended the wings and lasagna and both absolutely went above and beyond expectations. We also had a BYO pizza which was incredible! I highly recommend you try the white sauce. Our food also came out soooo fast which was a plus. Fast service, owner was great, food was DELICIOUS, and an overall awesome experience. Will be back as soon as we get the chance. Highly recommend!

My daughter got the calzone and she could maybe eat a third of eat. We aren't local, but my daughters both asked if we could come back the next time we visit North Tahoe area.

Simply can't say enough good things about this place. WE WILL BE BACK!!

The house special 🍔 was great, pizza is not Italian style dough but was good enough to eat. Beer is average nothing special.. The salad was good and the small version is more than enough.

We love this place! Such a local vibe and the pizza is always amazing. It gets crazy busy in the summer and waits can be long but you just have to know that and call ahead, pizza is always good to go as it is dine in. Super fair prices for everything also, hard to find in Tahoe these days!

Pizza was seriously above average. Let’s be honest- pizza is about dough and sauce. Toppings were fresh and they didn’t skimp. The crust was solid! Light and full at the same time. Seriously recommend this joint.

Under different ownership though it seems like the same mediocre pizza crust. The chicken wings have a nice smoke to them which was unexpected and delicious, especially with the Carolina sauce - very tasty! Friendly staff, good service.

We got pizza, 2 kinds. The crust seemed processed, the sauce seemed canned. It was ok for "School" pizza. Very generic, won't recommend to locals. The waitress was great and we got very good service. I don't remember her name because she was fast and efficient but it was a Tuesday evening, if that helps.

We had such an overall bad experience here this evening. We went into the restaurant to order a pizza to be picked up an hour later. When my husband arrived to pick it up he ended up waiting 30 minutes for it. No apologies, no nothing. Clearly they didn’t start making it until he arrived, so why not admit it and apologize? When we opened up the box it was undercooked and missing one of 3 ingredients that we paid for. At least it was hot, but that’s about the most I can say about it….

10 dollars for a tiny Caesar Salad that was only grass, few drops of sauce and five croutons. The second also a tiny sandwich for 20 dollars. Same prices as everywhere here in California but half the amount of food

I have been coming here for over 20 years and i just took my family here today and there was only one other family inside and after we ordered our pizzas and burgers we asked when it would be ready after waiting 20 min and they said it would be another 20 min! We left and come back to pick up the order and the pizza is terrible. It is hard to make pizza taste bad, but this is bad. They also forgot the cheese on the cheese burger. I called and nobody answered and they do not have VM set up. This tastes worst than a frozen pizza.

We’ve been eating at CB’s for 20+ years, but the pizza has really taken a turn for the worse. This time, we got 2 take out pizzas. They were ready quickly. 1 pizza was correct, one was missing the basic sauce, had the wrong crust, and it took 4 slices to find even the first bite of chicken (there were 3 tiny pieces on an entire medium pizza.) 1 pizza crust was supposed to be “thin” the other “thick.” But as far as we could tell, they were exactly the same: 1/2 inch thick, dense and hard. Not impressed. We’ll order somewhere else next time.

If I could score no stars on the service and atmosphere I would have. Regrettably, my recent experiences at CB's have been deeply disappointing, a stark contrast to the warmth and hospitality once synonymous with this establishment. The transition in ownership has evidently led to a drastic decline in customer service quality. The charm of the former local proprietors has been replaced by the new owners' rudeness, meanness, and unnecessary aggression. My attempts to communicate with the staff, presumably the new owner, have consistently been met with stress and hostility. On my latest visit, a simple online order pickup turned unnecessarily confrontational. While I was merely trying to clarify and amend my order, the response I received was unexpectedly combative, with the owner accusing me of being confrontational, a bewildering accusation when all I sought was to add to my order due to an initial mistake. His unwillingness to assist, coupled with a palpable sense of irritation, left me no choice but to leave, utterly dismayed by the lack of basic courtesy one would expect in a service-oriented business. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also tarnishes the reputation of what could be a thriving local enterprise. It's disheartening to witness the erosion of the congenial, customer-focused atmosphere that once defined CB's. The current proprietor's approach starkly misrepresents the essence of what local business ownership should embody. Consequently, I am compelled to state that I will neither recommend nor patronize CB's again, a decision I make with a heavy heart given my past fondness for the place.

Awful food tonight. Sold out of pizza, that’s ok. Brisket sandwich with pizza dough chips and sauce was actually a fat and onion sandwich served with corn chips and no salsa. This was accompanied by cold au jus for dipping. Pimiento and turkey sandwich was cold and served with the limpest fries I have ever seen in a restaurant. Spaghetti was actually fettuccini served with seriously bland tomato sauce. Never offered refills until one of us asked. He got one but no offer to the rest of us with empty glasses. By that point we were ready to exit. Cannot recommend; hopefully the pizza is an improvement on this sorry fare.

Sadly, I will give this restaurant just one star. We came to visit Lake Tahoe as tourists and went there for a quick lunch and it’s really sad that we experienced a racist waiter. We suffered discrimination from him and we later found out he was the owner. Our trip had been going well, until this happened. This ignorant experience from the owner of the restaurant ruined our trip. He laughed at us after we complained and even another blond waitress made fun of us. I recommend to not go since he is a rude and racist human being who believes he is superior than us.

Fast service and friendly employees. However, I was disappointed in the quality of the pizza. The crust was supposed to be “thick” but it was definitely thin. There was very little BBQ sauce and chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza. The ingredients on the combo were fresh. Unfortunately the quality of the crust took away from the flavor. It felt like it was pre-made and not fresh. After spending $100 in pizza it was disappointing for sure. We had it last year with the prior owners, and it was much better. We won’t be back.

Ordered 2 pizzas and a lasagna. Worst food ever. The bbq pizza was really bland and didn’t have bbq sauce and covered in artichoke hearts and truly under cooked. The lasagna had no flavor and a total lack of meat. The veggie pizza had very little sauce and broccoli and sundries tomatoes were the veggies. We spent $150 and feel completely ripped off. Won’t be going back. Yuck.

The picture is a $16 Greek salad (I added gyro meat to it). It is...tiny. you'd figure for $16 you'd get a passable salad, not here. Overpriced. The staff that didn't ignore you, were friendly enough. They also forgot dressings for both salads as well. When you are getting takeout, it's a disappointment to get home and find all the dressings and sauces missing.

We left after having to ask for glasses for the warm water on our table. We took our money elsewhere and were greeted with the best service at the next place. A blessing in disguise.
