I had the carne asada tacos. They were so good.The vegetables we're seasoned perfectly and roasted perfectly. A family atmosphere and the service was excellent.

This was my first time at this location. The food was awesome. The service was excellent. The gentleman that was helping us was very friendly and helpful. He made sure that we understood the menu and the prices. He really took the time to make sure we understood what they had to offer. The atmosphere was clean and colorful. You definitely felt comfortable while you were having dinner. We will definitely be back again.

First time I went was Tuesday January 30th, 2024 the food was delicious that I went back the day after Wednesday ,January 31st 2024 for their fish Taco special I definitely recommend this place . The food is good and always has a descent amount of crowd there.

1st time here visiting Torrance from northern California. Food was awesome. The micheladas were straight fire. The food was fresh and served quickly. The seating was definitely not enough as there was people waiting to grab a table.

Oh man. I’m so happy this place opened up. Their shrimp/ fish tacos are amazing. Their micheladas reminded me of the ones from dodger stadium but at a fraction of the cost. I was so sad to be full because I just wanted to keep eating their delicious food. Can’t wait to be back.

I really wanted Birria and the reviews were really good on this place. I’m glad I chose it over the other spots. The Tamarindo Drink was 11/10! I love me some tamarindo!!! The quesadilla was just enough! The staff there were sweet and I can’t wait to go back 🎯

Had their carnitas burrito to go and it was absolutely delicious, ugh I cannot say enough about the quality of food. It was a sizable burrito for 13 dollars (14 including tax) and comes with a grilled season chile, 2 saucers of homemade salsa and 2 lemon wedges. Excited to try out the other flavors and definitely looking forward to the shrimp. Great work to the chefs and staff here

Seriously good fish tacos. The breaded fish tacos are less expensive but the grilled are fresh and good without being fishy. Grilled shrimp tacos are also excellent. Wash it down with a cold michelada with your beer of choice. Parking is free but the weekend crowds are intense.

Tacos were all right the place wasn't very clean. So we had to go outside and sit in our car to eat.

Great food, me and my hubby ordered the California ceviche, the 6 OG shrimp tacos (battered shrimp and fried) two pineapple miches. Everything was delicious, tasteful and fulfilling. Clean restaurant, the cherry on top for us was also the customer service, very friendly and nice, helpful. Definelty will return first time was a 10/10. I recommend if you are craving seafood and want your moneys worth. Miches de la Baja won't let you down!

This place was good. The tacos were a little better than ok. Unfortunately, I always compare the fish tacos to another place where they are simply exquisite! The breaded fish tacos (OG tacos) are a lot better than the grill ones. The grill fish tacos had a charcoal smoky taste, not a pleasant one. The shrimp tacos were delicious as well as the Ceviche. The atmosphere is great and the staff was very friendly. I would eat here again ONLY if I happen to be around but not a need to drive place.

My husband has been raving (to me) about this place for weeks since he has eaten here w co-workers for lunch. Restaurant has that Baja feel for sure; wooden benches for seating, was comfortable. Bring a sweater if u feel cold w AC, it's turned up high here! (I mean that in a good way.) Everything we ordered was great.. a tad pricey in my opinion but I think that's because you're paying for a brand that comes from Baja. $10 for an all shrimp tostada.. I expected shrimp to be falling off of it but I may just be a greedy eater; I like big portions. In all fairness, the onions (pickled), jalapeños and avocado make up for it. The fried basket w fries was really good; great for sharing. Fries are best I've had anywhere. LOVE the chiles gueros... Those were my favorite!!! We'd go again if we're in the area. Kudos to my husband for his classy choice in a date spot.

Great food. Really good fish and shrimp tacos. It would get a full 5 stars if the micheladas weren't $11 and up depending on what one you want. There good but I don't think any michelada should cost that no matter how good it is.

I gave this place for stars because the only problem is I think the portion should be a little bit bigger. Not a lot bigger. Just a little bit because I know the price of seafood is high. Other than that this place is magnificent. I love to grab this and go have a picnic at the beach or just eat in my car at the beach, or take it into the movie theater, me and my fiance love it, every time she flies down from Denver we have to grab some ceviche or tostadas or a grilled fish burrito from here. Fast service and priced reasonably. I've tried a multitude of micheladas and this is one of my favorites. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the sitting is limited.

The grilled shrimp and fish "de la Baja" burrito was delicious!. Located directly across the street the Harbor UCLA Medical Center. I'll be back on my next patient visit. Also, an insane 80's soundtrack playing in the background. 😀

It was a little pricey... but we might have ordered more than what we could eat! The only thing was the music was too loud...I couldn't process my brain thoughts...lol!

They are well-organized and one can see what is going on in the kitchen which I think it's a good thing for the consumer. Thr food is good, prices a bit on the high side, considering the area. I didn't rate five-stars because the music is way too loud and what is usually playing is not a musical genre amiccable to digestion or the calm that one seeks when one is eating. Every time I go I rather do take out than staying there, because of the noise.

Let me start off with what I LIKED..I like the theme, the ambience, parking was easy, food was served quick and for a pretty decent price. The mango on the Miche was DELICIOUS! I didn't drink it tho it was my bf's. I ordered a small shrimp cocktail and 2 OG battered fish tacos. The fish (I found out from another customer) is tilapia. It is served on a corn tortillas with pico de gallo (non-spicy), cabbage, sauce, and two slices of lime on the side. What I didn't like about the fish tacos was the batter it had a funny taste to it but I'm also not a big fan of fish. The batter was super fluffy and really absorbent and it absorbed the lime juice I put so it seemed soggy. I DIDN'T like the corn tortillas, I HATED THE CORN TORTILLAS so next time I'll order the flour ones lol. The shrimp cocktail was better than the fish taco for me. I liked how small it was honestly. The shrimp wasn't too big and the avocado was delicious. I thought it was pretty basic. Good enough for me. What I didn't like about the cocktail was the bottom like the cucumber and tomato but I'm just a weirdo LOL I highly recommend this place. My bf loved ALL of the food! I also like that the ice from the fountain drink didn't melt right away like fast food restaurants!! 💯

Visited Minches De LA Baja based on a co worker's recommendation. The main dish items did not disappoint such as the Mahi Mahi, the Tacos Trio combo (grilled chicken, shredded Pork and Carne Asada). The beans and Rice however was a little bland that I was expecting. The rice seemed to be missing the Spanish (referring to the tomato based sauce that would using be cooked with the rice. It was colorless and missing some flavor. The location had a few construction workers at lunch time. The staff was very nice, thanking me for my service in the military. The price point are normal compared to other restaurants similar to this place. I will need to give this location a 4 stars. Don't get me wrong, the food and service was good and all, but just missing that Military Veterans Discount for my fellow past and present Armed Forces Members. Provide that year round and I guarantee that coveted fifth star would be applied.

Came here on a Sunday dinner and luckily it wasn't too packed! My friend and I ordered the birria tacos and weren't disappointed. Was my first time trying birria so don't really have anything to compare it to, but for 9 bucks it was filling and good. Would definitely come again to try out other stuff!

The good: The food was tasty. I had the og fish and og shrimp tacos as well as the potato tacos. All very flavorful. The prices weren't bad either. The bad: The tables were dirty. All the available ones had sauce or food residue. Definitely not the cleanest place. Overall: I would come back, probably not dining in though.

Great Micheladas to start off, my go to is the pina chamoy Michelada super flavorful spicy and goes great with a shrimp, fish taco or tostada. It is a bit pricey but worth your buck if you want something well done and fresh

Good Mexican taco restaurant. Located in a nice plaza with plenty of free self parking. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is clean. Ordered the fried fish tacos and fried shrimp tacos. They're good but had better elsewhere. I enjoyed the fish more than the shrimp. Worth it if you're in the area

When I entered the "Miches De LA Ba restaurant", I thought that I was at Mexico restaurant. The wall was painted with a map of Baja Mexico, and their decore was Spanish influenced interior. I liked their Spanish interior design. A young lady greeted me, and she was helpful with selecting the menu. I chose their famous fish taco combo and tortilla with salsa. It didn't take that long to get my order. It was pretty fast service. After that I came home and tried the food. Fish tacos came with rice and beans. When I tried the taco, the fish was fried, and it was rolled with white tortilla. I ordered the taco with no sauce. Fish was a little salty, but after I added the salsa. It tasted good. The only thing that I didn't like was that salsa was too spicy and very hot. I had to drink a lot of water. Tortillas were crispy and tasty. Anyway, their service was good and the atmosphere was great.

Pretty cool fish tacos and mariscos. This place can get packed at times. I came here the other day and couldn't get over the quality and authenticity of their grilled fish tacos they have here. This place also serves birria tacos I also tried and are really good. All around, this place is where you can come and eat seafood from tacos, burritos, plates, soups, dishes, alcohol and more.. Ist time here, wife wanted fish due to lent so I found this place. My extectations we're probably more on the high side since they specialized in seafood and the food pic's on Yelp appeared to look pretty good. We ordered the fish taco family box which comes w/12 OG fish tacos, rice and beans and fries. So how was it?? Just average, good but nothing to write home about. I would actually say that Hole Mole fish tacos is a little better which is not good as Hole Mole is more of a franchise AND/BUT Taconazo in Bell Flower beats them hands down. Sucks that they weren't a lot better. If you're in the mood for decent seafood this place is fine but if your a little picky about good seafood- you may want to skip this place - sorry to say that but it's the truth and this is an honest non bias review.

The food is great, however the service needs to improve. Went there the other day and the guy at the register was too busy fixing his radio rather than taking orders or at least having the courtesy to let the people waiting in line know that he was fixing an issue with their software. Anyway I have been there plenty of times and I can say that the food is excellent and at a good price.

It's been a while but came back for the Wednesday taco deal (1.15$/taco). Ordered take out - half my tacos with the spicy sauce in the side. Ended up with no sauce in any of the tacos which was pretty disappointing. The tacos were noticeably smaller than they used to be and no roasted peppers in there either. Definitely a bummer as the Wednesday taco deal used to be a go to. It's still a decent deal but definitely will probably only end up here if I'm in a pinch now.

I brought my family here for lunch because we were already in the area and I saved this restaurant after seeing a cool post on Instagram. The food was good, it was a Wednesday so we ordered the fish Taco special (I think there $2 to $3 each). The tostadas were fresh and my mom loved the michelada. The thing that bothered me was the smell of the restaurant. Their bathroom smells really bad and it makes the whole place smell bad. You order at the front and you pick up your food when your number is called. Self-service makes the tables not very clean. I would recommend doing takeout instead of eating inside.

Food was good but I had to clean my dirty table. Will be great if they paid a little attention to customers leaving so that they can clean tables for customers coming in the door. Specially new customers. Will give the place a shot again in a few weeks, I see dirty tables, will not clean my table again, will leave. I tried the place out because a co worker said it was a great place.

Mango Michelada- super delicious and refreshing, five stars! Fried fish and fried shrimp tacos - 2 stars, that tortilla was good, the cabbage was good, the sauce was tasty, but both the shrimp and the fish have that over fried with old oil flavor The service was fairly quick and friendly . The restaurant is dirty. In general, tables are dirty. Trash was on the ground by the trashcan, the toilet toilets were dirty trash on the floor in the bathroom. It’s hard to go back to try other things when it’s just so dirty. .

I was craving some ceviche and based on reviews and menu options, they had what I wanted. I ordered the Rey with aguachile, two Baja fish tacos and hubby got the birria tacos. The Rey ceviche portion was enough to share!! Love the amount of shrimp & just seafood period. It did lack a lil salt but that’s ok. As far as heat level, it wasn’t spicy at all. I had to add more if their other sauces they offered on the table. The fish tacos were not that significant. Basic. The birria tacos were small. They were good but had better. They have fountain drinks and agua frescas. Only thing they need to improve in is on the cleanliness. The tables were sticky and so was the area to get drinks. The floors could use some mopping too. Service was decent. You do have to go up to the counter to pick up your food when ready so no table side service. Not sure if I’ll go back.

You order your food, they give you a number and then once they call your number you pick up your food and drinks and take them to your table. You might have to get up twice since the food and drinks aren't always ready at the same time. Make sure to get napkins when you pick up the food because they don't have any at the tables. The authentic michelada was basic. The tostada de ceviche was okay and the shrimp tacos were good just cold. My friend got a shrimp burrito and said it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Overall, it was okay.

First thing is customer service folks. I learned my lesson here. When you answer a phone and sound like you are pist off. You should not be answering the phone. Then I greeted the cook and got the evil eye instead of a greeting back. The guy that answered the phone had a little better attitude now that I was in front of him. Next. $17.50 is way too much for a Shrimp Cocktail. The portion was nice, but the most I have paid for one in this area is about $15.00. Then. The cup has a hole at the top a big one and the holder they serve it in is not car friendly so place it very very carefully or the first stop it will be all over your floor. I give 2 stars because the shrimp cocktail was actually good. PS They forgot the Napkins. 🤷‍♂️

The food was pretty good last visit. Unfortunately, this time, I would not be coming back because of the food, but because they allowed a non-service animal inside the dining area and did nothing to fix it. There are dining areas outside they should have used. EMPHASIS The employees did nothing. The food may be great, but if I can not enjoy it due to a dog, then it's a sacrifice I will make and eight fewer customers returning. Maybe, but I swear if I have the same issue whenever I do decide to return, this review will definitely be updated.

2 stars because the cocktail looks good. Probably the worse cocktail I've ever had though. No flavor AT ALL. The seafood they used (shrimp octopus etc, ) taste like they just opened the bag of seafood and put it into the cup. The juice they use for the cocktail disgusting. It's almost flavorless except u get a hint of saltiness and fish. I got a peace of octopus that still had a bit of ice on it. Stay away unless u come for micheladas (good) or try tacos instead. Wasted my money in this place :/

The atmosphere and decor is nice. I ordered the OG battered fish tacos combo. The tacos were just ok, very basic, no added flavor. Rice was a bit plain and beans weren't that great either. I wouldn't recommend the battered fish but may next time I'll try something different if I ever go back. I had high hopes for this place based on Google reviews but I probably should've checked the yelp reviews first.

Went last week and I haven’t came after not going a while I walked in looking forward to eating their awesome tacos .However when I walked in there it looked like a pig stye. Made me scared to eat there while looking at how unsanitary they were . If they think it is ok to have their tables dirty and floors looking like pigs dancing all over then I can’t imagine how sanitary they really are anymore

This place has become a scam. Not only did they raise their prices significantly, but they were also charging an extra dollar from the menu price for the ceviche. Make sure you check your receipts. When I asked about the menu price change i was told they were reduced and when i explained it was the opposite i got a thumbs up from the worker as they walked away. Customer service, price and food quality have gone down hill here.

Cold food. Loud blaring music. Too expensive for the quality. Hype vs substance. Asada burrito served with cold pre cooked meat. Shrimp tacos served on cold fried tacos, shrimp was cold. Nothing we were served was hot. Insane prices, 12$ for Asada burrito served tepid is a rip off. Warm flat Coke and no ice in cups. Disappointing food.

I ordered tacos on a Tuesday they seem OK but the meat a bit hard. Went back with friends ordered fish tacos they were bad they seen to be fixed in old cooking oil l told the cashier she did not say anything. The prices too high l will not be going there again nasty food.

Bad service. Please open and check your order before you leaving. These employees can't take a simple order right. This is the 2nd time the screwed my order. I ordered a custom birria burrito and I received grilled shrimp burrito. I'm allergic to seafood. Never again will I return to this place.

When I walked into the location the trash was overflowing and the tables were dirty. Where the guys are working on getting the orders ready wasn't clean either. The menu states they offer margaritas and Paloma's and they don't. The food was bland. The fish wasn't seasoned. The tortillas were soggy, the salsa had no flavor, and the yellow pepper wasn't even grilled. This location was a total let down. I do not recommend. I won't be back.

I think they were having an off night. We ordered fish tacos plates, Birria plate, separate rice & beans & peppers. I liked the concept of the melted cheese with the fish taco however 2 out of 6 had completely blackened burned cheese. Paid about $7 for a plate of rice and beans and I expected it to be better for the price. It was bland. See pics. Birria was average. Needed more flavor. Peppers were not well fried. It was cold and tasted like dish water. It had a not so fresh smell. They had picnic tables and it was bright and cheerful. I had to go back twice to get things that were missing from our order.
