I had best experience here. I have tried takeaway food and it came quickly.

What a pleasure. NOT a Maccies fan. Was taking some family members here. Food was fresh and edible. The staff were ALL friendly and a great team, so helpful. Really a nice Team atmosphere. Clean and tidy and toilets were impeccable. Prices way too high, but that it 2025 in the UK..🤷‍♂️

It is good then need quick take some food like fuel to your body :)

order 23 time 20:35. fairplay to the person who made my double quarter pounder, it was the most symmetrical and best looking burger i’ve seen in my life, i wish i had taken a picture of it. the nuggets were dead crispy and hot. very good thank you

The staff here are so friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble and they are apologetic if the drive through is busy. I always return to this McDonald’s as the service is so good and they prepare my order pretty quickly, even during busy periods.

All changed in here.. very clean. Staff are lovely. Nice young girl served us food. Called reynah. Fast service.. Good portions.

Food was good and service was fine. We Did have to take one of the burgers back as it wasn't what we ordered but to be fair it was dealt with quickly. The only other fault was we had to clean up someone's mess on the table but that says more about the people that were sitting there before us than the restaurant. All in all an enjoyable experience.

You get exactly what you expect! Inexpensive food in a cafe environment. On this occasion the service was very good. Just what we needed. Recently we went again. However, it took 24 minutes for our order to arrive on a Sunday evening. Unacceptable!

Good service times inside. Gets the order correct. Busy times can be a wait for the drive through but all things considered one of the most competent McDonald's I've been to.

Staff are friendly enough BUT it really has been taken over by Just Eat who seem to take priority over customers dining in the restaurant or using the takeaway. The amount of tables being taken up by Just Eat was mad and at such a busy time, really Just Eat need a bit on their own and not actually being in the restaurant and to see the dirty Just Eat bags dumped on the tables where people are going to be eating is terrible, granted that there is a person clearing and cleaning tables but they didn't approach where the Just Eat bags were / had been.... Did somebody say Just Eat? I don't think so. Update 28th July 2022. All change - maybe not for the better? So, first visit today after the refit, so it appears that they have added more self service kiosks and now the pick up point for meals is now on the right, more or less when you get in the restaurant, but people are ordering at the kiosks directly to the left of the pick up point so basically you can't move with people ordering, people waiting and people trying to get through to the toilets at the back of the restaurant. I think when I went in there were about 10 people waiting, it did take a while to get served and when I picked it up it was wrong but I couldn't be bothered taking it back (I was takeaway). Yes it was busy, it was about 1.15 PM & the kids were off and they have only been open a week so you can expect some teething trouble. Gone are the nice cushioned seats to be replaced by hard chairs and seats, maybe they don't want you to stay too long? We have seen people nursing a cup of coffee for over an hour so maybe this is Maccy D's way of sorting the problem. I've added a new photo of the new pick up point. Also you CAN still order at the counter it's on the right, so they are not forcing you to use a Kiosk, also if you have got the app you can still earn points even when paying at a till, there is a QR code on the app. Good luck, but are you still "Lovin' It?" 🤔

Food ok , cleanliness not so much, one staff member seemed more interested in talking to little girls make of that what you will. But its extremely rude to linger over people whilst they eat. And he just didn't leave people alone became very awkward.

Lost track of much cold food ive come away with. Today ordered porridge and the server asked if I want sweet and sour with it . When I pulled over to eat it it was stone cold like it had sat there for 15 mins. Rocket science apparently.

It's not very often i would write a bad review. But it needs saying. I ordered 2 burgers to take out, mine had been stood on and dropped by the looks of it,the other one looked okay but had a hair on it that you couldn't miss. If I hadn't driven away I would have gone in and said something. 1 Star for the quality of the food. Usually it's really good.

Why do we accept to stand around waiting for our food for longer than 10mins? I thought I was coming to a fast food restaurant! No one supporting the fun desk! Customer ls having to shout for help. The whole operation has just go down. Service? These people just have no idea of the work

The wait here sometimes is incredible, on a Saturday you can expect to wait 10-15 minutes for a typical order. The restaurant car park is awkward and small luckily there’s plenty more on the outlet.

I feel sorry for the staff at this restaurant as they are constantly having to defuse frustrated customers because the recent refurb was simply not well thought out. Apparently the Just-Eat drivers take priority, which is obviously because they provide a regular income, but you don't sacrifice the satisfaction of the walk-in customers (many whome are loyal regulars) and rely on your 'very efficient' table staff to defuse the customers frustrations when all that is needed is a better plan on how to satisfy all customers. Please help your staff out now rather than counting your profits, because if customer service is high then the profits will always follow.

Usual Mc Donald food fare but parking is very up in a heap and tight. Could have done with more spaces and had them slightly wider apart.

Staff are great, place always looks clean when I'm there, but it's slow to get food out.

Its ok but the quality verse cost at McDonalds has really gone down hill. I though its my local ones but seems endemic. Food rarely seems warm, cold food or fries.. Fresh food seems a suprise than the norm. Staff are normally pleasant but seem uncaring or very busy. They know if you aren't happy they replace but that ruins a group experience.

Usually it’s slow when we go in here, but it was very quick today. Went in as Broughton was closed. Even though it was empty, it was still messy. However, if it was this quick everytime we visited, we would come here more often.

Very dirty, most seats have loads of ketchup on them etc, where are the cleaners? Servers where friendly though and food came quickly to our table, no salt on the fries and they looked a bit burnt but the burgers where nice. 3 stars!

The drive thru is a complete waste of time. I could buy the ingredients, take them home and cook them to make the food myself A LOT QUICKER! They simply can't handle their own process of ordering and cooking. It's hopeless. Steer clear.

Avoid at all cost!! Really disappointed with the service here. Food is same like all other outlets but the inefficiency of the kitchen staff (cleaning staff are so helpful and hard working ). I had been a regular customer and always wondered why this specific outlet is so slow in serving customers. Last 2 visits made me stop going to this one for ever. One time at 10pm, I had to wait for 20 minutes to get the order when only few customers were there. Another time it was only 2 customers including me and had to wait for 25 for getting the order. I had to ask the cleaning lady whether she have any idea what's happening as no one is coming to the counter even to ask. She went inside and brought my order which was cold when it reached me. So it was left there with no one to serve it while I could see 5-6 people walking inside. Avoid this place unless the inefficient and lethargic staff gets replaced or you don't mind waiting 30 minutes to receive the order .

So slow. Been a few times since they changed to the window service and blocked in the kitchen. It just seems so slow and carefree.

Crew who were at 0:00 18th January, were doing mc flurry brownie and wrap 20 minutes, I could not wait for it as i had to go so my order wasn't done after this time, as an ex manager i kindly ask to have a conversation with someone who was leading that night, i don think workers can laugh and basically skiving on front while there are plenty of drive through orders and five in store, i don't think that is acceptable so please take it under consideration!!!!

App wouldn't work here, staff just said "it's a nationwide problem" which didn't really help me use my points I have saved up. Really fancied a oreo frappé but was out of stock. Food took over 15 minutes to arrive which is too long for a mcdonalds hamburger, chicken nuggets, small fries and a coke.

After a long day at work I decided to treat myself to a maccies, only to be waiting 40 minutes (at least) for my food, which ended up being cold - how dissapoitning!!?? Maccies used to set themselves at a much higher standard and in recent years it’s floppdd. Extremely disappointed…

Accuracy, accuracy and again accuracy. Ordered double filet o fish but get single one. Spotted at home. Many times issues with orders hence 2 stars.

Used to be a fantastic restaurant but it has gone downhill since the refurbishment. Took nearly 20 mins to get a big mac and a happy meal and it was absolute bedlam with so many people standing around. There also seemed to be more focus on getting the orders out for the delivery guys rather than us stood around waiting for our food. It was so much quicker when they used to take orders at the till.

This is the messiest mcdonalds ive been too. It wasn't busy in the drive through or inside. I ordered my food at 20:39 and we didnt get our food until after 9 o'clock! The toilets were disgusting. The dining area had flys all around it. I approached the front counter and asked what was with the wait because I understand they very well could've been understaffed but the lady just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. There was no one on the front counter and they forgot my straws so I had to wait an extra 5 minutes just to ask for a straw.

Urine on the toilet seat and no toilet paper in the Men’s or disabled toilet at 11:30. Food was very slow to come.

Waited far too long When food finally arrived it was O .K. Will think twice before going back.

Absolutely awful experience at the drive through and drinks tasted very watered down.

I have to be honest, McDonald’s used to be fast and a nice and easy meal to get but now it isn’t at all. Especially this branch. I went in with my niece and had to wait 25 minutes just for 2 medium meals which were just normal burger meals. It wasn’t really busy either just about 3 other orders on the screen. It is ridiculous. Even when we got the food it wasn’t even fresh it was soggy like it was underneath a heater for a hour. The burger were also crap like they just smash it into a box with the cheese not even fully on the burger with half hanging off. Previous experiences were awful as-well. Not as good as they used to be anymore.

Dear Manager, I've collected and delivered orders from your store many times, but lately, your orders are very slow to be processed, and we lose 30-50 minutes on each order. This not only wastes time and money for delivery people like us, but also causes problems like dissatisfaction and refunds due to late delivery times. Could you please inform your employees a little more and instruct them to be both prompt and fast and to be polite and courteous towards delivery drivers? There is always atleast 1 thing missing from the order. Today my brother ordered a Big Mac and just got the meat and buns. No lettuce. No cheese. Nothing. We did not take anything off the Big Mac while ordering, they just gave us nothing other that meat. Food cold. Waiting time approx 40 min even when, like, no one in was in the restaurant. We understand that making food takes longer sometimes, but this is a bit too far.

Waited 20 minutes for a click and serve order and had had to go in to chase up where it was, Extremely poor service from staff when enterd the restaurant I was basically told to wait in rude manner.

The last 3 times I’ve ordered from this specific McDonald’s it’s been missing an item, ranging from an added sauce to an entire burger.

Cold and old fries. They were also half portions on each of the 2 meals we ordered. My BigMac was also cold and looked like it had been run over. The diet coke was the only thing that was good. Best avoid this McDonalds.

Very hit and miss one day fantastic service, others okay, others..... very recently. I found myself leaving frustrated more often than not. Overall some fantastic staff however some let the side down. Through lack of training, or sheer ignorance and pomposity. Hands down the worst service received today left at the payment window 10 minutes then the same at the collection window not even acknowledged until Sophie the manager turned up. Can hands down say it wasn't her fault. The calibre of staff were the problem because they were present the whole time. Knew I was at the windows didn't communicate to each other nothing. Lost my appetite by the time the food arrived I'd of gone any other establishment had they been open

Worst experience ever, ordered 3 happy meals to get different toys, and all of them were the same. I asked if I could swap one of them, and she just gave me the same box, so now I am out of 12 pounds and stuck with 3 replicas 😂. FYI you can see the size of the box and that they are going to be the same. I just wanted either the creeper or the bee.

Not sure what the name of the person who gave us our drinks but they had blue hair. We had received 4 drinks, all of them were only filled up half way so we asked if we could have them filled to the top and the blue hair person slammed their hands on the counter and rolled their eyes. We also waited 10 minutes at the original screens at the drive through whilst the other side got served immediately, then had to wait extra time for our food which was then cold when we got it.

Order from mcdonalds multiple times and we have always had a problem. They never get the food right and always miss stuff out of the order. For such expensive delivery fee they should at-least get the food right.

Literally the worst McDonald's I've been too. Waited 19 minutes for a Sausage and egg mcmuffin and a latte. The bloke who was before me waited longer just for a coffee. I only live a couple of minutes away in the car and when I got home both my food and drink were cold. If i get a response to this to say it was busy then thats a lie. There was 4 people inside and the drive through was quiet. The worst thing is the manager on duty who eventually brought my food and drink offered no apology whatsoever. Absolute shocker! Don't take my word for it. Read the other reviews. And none of them get replies

One of the worst experiences in any place ever, ever. The place was a mess, the staff beyond useless. There’s rats running round, litter, food all over the place. The staff don’t speak English so you can’t communicate in any form. There picking there nose whilst handling food. The toilets were like a crack den. How this place passes any hygiene test ever is beyond me. Avoid at all cost if you value your health.

Order took a while, then came with cold tea. Chap with beard and strange gauze mask told me they must have given me a spare rather than a fresh one (why?) and then I was given two further replacement cups, both so cool that I could stick my finger in. Just not hot —- and the service wasn’t any better. Refunded in full, went elsewhere. Fast, fresh food this was NOT.

Tried to phone uo but the number doesn't work

They not only messed up my delivery order, but they don't even have a valid phone number to fix it, they literally have no way of contacting them but walking to them to complain, which is just stupid when having a phone number is so basic.

Unfortunately worst branch I've experienced. Toilets were filthy and smelled, restaurant had food all over the tables,not even attempted to be cleaned, therefore decided not even order and we left.

Ordered collection for breakfast at 10:40 and got to the restaurant before 11 but due to the que jn the drive through we didnt get to the window until 11:03 at which point they refuses to make the order even tho i had ordered on the app 20 mins earlier horrible service and manager with the red hair is rude and disrespectful !!

It was one of the worst McDonald's visits I've ever had! We visited st 2:30am. The drive-thru was closed and around 5 customers inside, and it still took over 20 mins for us to get our food. The chips tasted stale and were cold, and my partners sprite was pink! He went to ask for a replacement and couldn't get anyone's attention because they were all in the back. When he finally did, it took them an age to fetch a replacement. Definitely not fast food anymore!

ALWAYS messing up orders. I wouldn't mind usually, mistakes happen, but after a 12hour shift it usually feels like the worst that could happen. The cleaning crew are lovely and are very helpful but everything else is a disaster :(

The person taking payment didn’t even acknowledge I was at the window, was talking over the headset to someone else, didn’t say a word and just stuck the card machine out at me. Absolutely appalling customer service. No please or thank you, not a word said, didn’t even tell me the price. Then I got home to find my order was wrong!! Phoned the restaurant and said they don’t do refunds over the phone so I’d have to drive back to them, and was met with attitude. Absolute disgrace. Unable to eat the food. Not the first time my order has been wrong. I’d advise customers to check their food before they leave the drive thru!

Drove 30 mins because it’s meant to be open 24 hours but it was shut at least state the times your gonna be closed

Very untidy and unclean resturant. Food was cold, when we called staff over, the reaction was "oh, do you want it replacing", but burger was cold, as was my sisters food too. Apple pie, usually so hot you can't eat it, was barely warm. Now milkshake, unless they have changed the straws again, was too warm as very thin. Wouldn't come to this McD again. It was only out of desperation for a drink we went there.

Called in for a sausage and egg muffin. Must have had that thing under a grill for several days. Asked for a double but got a single (probably saved my life). Didnt go back as not worth the wait. Whole point of drive through is your busy.

Extremely unprofessional customer service - an employee forgot something on our order (as they always do here) we then went back around through the drive through and explained that they had forgotten something, we offered to pay he said it was fine and to just go ahead straight to the next window, we waited another 10 minutes - we finished our entire meal before we even got served for the second time! and then were told we have to pay to get our missing item and we would have to go back around the drive through to do that- we explained we had been directly told not to, he didn’t seem to care and said there was nothing he could do. Extremely frustrating and unfair - they didn’t even apologise.

Placed an order on the app, went to collect and the guy who served me had absolutely zero clue about what he was doing. Pulled over and checked the bag after being handed them, missing 3 burgers for the meals and one large order of fries. Back in the queue for another 20 minutes. Rest of the food going cold (It's January bros). Seriously. Just. Put. THE. FRIES. IN. THE. BAG. How difficult is it to read off a screen and put the correct items in a paper bag? It's not like the menu is extremely complicated or massive. It has to be one of the easiest jobs on planet Earth but McDonalds seem to hire people who can't do extremely basic tasks. From now on I am going to hold up the queue and check every single item before moving my vehicle a single inch.

Drive though. Ordered the food and the drinks. Got the hot drink straight away. But waited for food 15 minutes. So that meant the drink was cold when the food was ready. But to top it all off the Order was totally wrong. Drink and food was not what I ordered. I had to go in restaurant and complain.. sorted what I ordered. But no apology. What I could see staff just stand round talking. Fast food what a joke.

I took my 4 yr old granddaughter for a happy meal on ordering the water option was unavailable 😢I had 9 chicken selects with fries and a cappuccino, ordered 16.09 on 27/10/2025 the meal did not show up on the board for 15 mins in total, and total time I had to wait was 26 minutes, The fries looked at felt like they had stood for 26 mins, my chicken selects were not to usual Mac standard they looked like they had been made from Morrisons Savers Chicken, which I by for my Cat 🐈‍⬛ there was No Salt and was told it had run out the day before 😢the people on the table next to me had been waiting 36 minutes 😭 on leaving I noticed a large que for car takeaways this is Not because it popular this is because it is slow . I believe this is a franchise of Mac Donald’s and someone from head office needs to to visit Undercover Boss , Won’t be going that one again, Thank you 😭

Horrible experience. Had to wait 30 min for iced latte and burger which eventually didn't arrived and had to leave as I was late for work. Who would have thought ice coffee will take more than 30 min in averagely busy restaurant. Waste my money in so called fast food restaurant. Definitely change so subway from now on.

All food was cold and uncooked. I contacted Uber but they were unable to assist. I ended up throwing the order away. Fries were uncooked and everything needed to be reheated. It wasn't an issue with the delivery driver, it was an issue with the restaurant. It was supposed to be a treat for our grandchildren but they were very disappointed and I ended up cooking for them. It was a complete waste of money and time. I would like a refund please. Extremely disappointed and angry. £30 plus wasted. We could have gone to a restaurant for that and had good, hot quality food. Instead of uncooked and cold food which went to the cats and bird feeder.

absolutely shocking service. waited 32 minutes for our food and saw one person who ordered a singular cheeseburger which took 25 minutes. there was one girl who looked busy as she must have been carrying the work load. the rest of the employees were just sat off talking to each other as the queue of people began to back up. the food was cold and unsalted. the entire place looked dirty. the drive thru was backed up to the entrance. all of the bins were absolutely overflowing as if they hadn’t been cleaned in hours. see picture below
