Family 4 dine in. GREAT price for combo dinner. Soup or salad with pasta and drink. Regular plate large enough to split with an appetizer. The shrimp mushroom pasta was an excellent large 25-30 size. They did not cut any corners in fresh shrimp cooked to perfection. All the food was delivered steaming hot. Pasta was cooked, just right, and it was excellent. We also ordered cheesy bread thumbs up. 63$ Cant beat that for fresh hot Italian food we will be back.

The staff is always polite and quick to meet any needs, going above and beyond to accommodate even our strict requests for food modifications. This place holds a special meaning for our family—my dad worked here 25+ years ago, and it’s amazing that we still love coming back, not just for the nostalgia but because they know how to hire the right people. The quality and hospitality have stood the test of time. Highly recommend!

They have really great service super fast delivery and if you eat here often or not they are predictable and each dish we have tried from the rigatone bolognese to the house spaghetti to the spicy chicken is fantastic. The experience is above average time and time again by ourselves (me and my daughter) or with friends (we have brought about 6 different people who have shared our enthusiasm) this restaurant is a absolutely fantastic experience. I wanna go tomorrow just thinking of it now. Highly recommend sopping by as it is one of Castro Valleys nicest little places.

We really appreciate the heat and serve options! I’m visiting my aunt but we also have kids traveling with us and these meals save us for dinner a couple of times. The reason I knocked off a star is that sometimes without our to go orders, they are out of bread. When the bread is included in the price and comes with the meal automatically but we don't receive it, it is a real bummer especially with feeding kids. But if you pick up before 7pm, they usually have bread. But without it, it feels like a waste of money and unfair to charge the regular full price.

It's kinda pricy but I have to say, I'm at least never disappointed with the main entrees. Bread isn't bad and if you dine in, you have access to more bread. They have a soda fountain as well. I'm not particularly impressed by the dessert plus there's several other really good dessert places nearby. The service is pretty quick and the staff is super friendly. I have no issues here. The restaurant is a good size, decent space between tables so it never feels too crowded, even when it's filled with customers. Nice big windows so it feels open but there's also outdoor seating. The space is generally clean, including the bathrooms. My issue with this area (which isn't the restaurant's fault) is the parking. It's a very popular area so fighting for parking is pretty normal. Overall, I really like this place. If my family and I need a quick Italian fix, it's our go-to!

I ordered through doordash. The food portions are laughably small for the price I payed. I normally don’t leave reviews but this is just so pathetic. The photos I posted were of the spaghetti and meatballs… there were 2 meatballs. Are we rationing??? I didn’t realize that was happening lol

The service is amazing at this place. The bad part is the food itself. Overpriced and not all that flavorful like it once was years ago.

Order date July 31, 2024.. Take out..Best way to judge a restaurant.. To start I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and Broccoli and Chicken Rigatoni, it was creamy but bland, there was no flavor to any of the dishes, the chicken was boiled instead of grilled, (some people know the different here.) Same with the garlic bread there was no garlic on the bread just plain bread with butter which cost me $7.00. If this place is catering for seniors it's okay, but for people who love food, they need to review the ingredients in these dishes, or take them off the menu. I won't get these two dishes unless you're very hungry..

It looked like they had coldish sauce in the bottom of the to go dish and then put old pasta on top. The garlic bread was a big disappointment as well. It’s like how do you mess that up. I might have to go back tomorrow and ask for my money back. Possibly the worst thing I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant.

This time my Cajun Chicken fettuccine Alfredo is very dry and the noodles are way too overcooked, they are mushy and falling apart.Every time I try to pick up a noodle it just breaks in half. The flavor of the sauce is good but there’s not nearly enough. I don’t think we will return. Which is sad because we’ve been going there for at least a decade.
