Kabayan Grill Filipino

My friends and I came to have a late lunch at this restaurant on our way home, today at Feb 28,2025. Its a simple small restaurant, but kuya the server even though as newly employed, did a good job taking care of us. We had a warm and tasty pinakbet, lechon kawali, dinuguan, sinigang na bangus, dangsilog and pork sisig to go.. Kuya Chris checked us after we finish eating and ask to visit their new Restaurant called Kamayan. And we will on our next visit. But make sure you dont forget your promise to us, our HALO HALO!!😁😁 Thank you!!

The overall experience is really something I am really happy to see in this establishment, and funny enough once you enter, you’re obviously being welcomed like a family member which is very heartwarming and amazing to see in this atmosphere. Another funny thing is that one of the waiters there reminded me of a family member back in the Philippines up at Ilagan area, my other auntie there, the waiter’s friendly gestures, the way her tone is, it really reminded me of her and that makes me feel very happy and I can’t wait to go back here again for my tennis Nationals or just to explore here in this state in general, I also can’t wait to go back to the Philippines this year too. What even made it more of an amazing experience, you can never deny the quality of their food, I must admit how nostalgic I was after eating the Langka and Bikol Express, was crying on the inside. That just shows how much it really means to me and how my family would make these two dishes a lot back then, hits differently in all the best ways. You guys, better get some awesome food here. To the people there, lots of 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛to you guys and I hope to see you all again soon, wanted to give you guys hugs but idk if that’s allowed while you guys are working haha. Halo Halo was a plus too I forgot to mention 😂😁🌟👏🏻👏🏻.

We went here for the first time today, what a terrific experience! The staff were over-the-top friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing, although this was our first time having Filipino food. The food was fresh, homemade, and delicious. Highly recommended. We will definitely be regular customers.

This was my first time having Filipino food and must I say..IT WAS DELICIOUS 😋😋😋 the flavors just exploding in my mouth.. The waitress I had was so sweet and helpful.. told her I don't eat pork n she recommended some great dishes. I had the calamari as an appetizer and the Bihorn (**hope I spelled that right**)fried noodles and the Adobo Chicken...

The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the staff were very friendly. I love their halo-halo! 🙂

Vanessa was our host and server and we absolutely love her! She is the sweetest! Our food is always hot and fresh so please understand if it takes a moment for your order. Every dish is made fresh for you. Our personal recommendations: Appetizers: Shanghai Lumpia Veggie Lumpia Crispy Pata Main Dish: Kare-Kare with Bagoong (order with rice) Pancit Bihon Pancit Sotanghon/Canton Mix Adobo (we love the pork! But chicken is good too!) Sizzling Sisig (order with rice!) Dessert: Halo-Halo (They also have a display of many different kinds of desserts and pastries!) Beverages: Sago't Gulaman Coconut Water (They have an assortment of bottled and canned beverages as well.)

If I could rate this 10, I will! This place is not just a restaurant but a home to me. Reminds me of “lutong bahay” that we always miss. The food? Chef’s kiss especially my favorite, Kare kare and bbq (Believe me when I say it’s 100x better than Max’s) The staffs? Amazing. Very accommodating. Shoutout to Vanessa. Very helpful in our orders. Everything here is good. This is our favorite filipino restaurant now. Thank you Kabayan, thank you for the delicious food! It felt just like home.

The best Filipino restaurant. We came here because of the reviews and they didn't disappoint. It's a small restaurant but when we walked in, it was all Filipinos so you know it's good. My favorite was the bulalo soup and the liempo. They give you a soy sauce based sauce with the liempo and anything else that is grilled. We had a great time and everyone was very nice to accommodate our orders because we made a big order to go. We went at around 1pm and there were some tables available but they filled up quickly. Will come back again when I'm in town.

I came all the way from Japan to visit my family here in Florida, and stopping by Kabayan Grill was one of the highlights of my trip. The travel was absolutely worth it. From the moment I took the first bite, I felt like I was back home in the Philippines—like I was a kid again enjoying home-cooked meals. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients fresh, and every dish was cooked to perfection. It brought back so many memories. I’ll definitely be coming back again whenever I’m in town. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Filipino comfort food!

Chrispin was an amazing server. Such great hospitality. The food was so yummy and flavorful. Everything that we tried was so good. It was our first time here and it was a great experience. If you are looking for great authentic philippino food...then this is the place to go.

This place was unbelievably amazing. We’re particular with filipino food and have tried so many (cook filipino food ourselves) but the food here is unreal. The taste and flavor were authentic - just like how my grandparents back in the day used to do it. Service was great as well. As visitors of Orlando from New Jersey we were very happy with our experience here. We will for sure be back!

Our sumptuous dinner is not just s meal; it's an experience, celebrating the joy of good home food and the Philippines. Each dish tells a story of where in originated. Chef Cris crafted each with care making our early evening to remember. The centerpiece of the early evening was the sizzling bagus, it's skin perfectly crispy and well seasoned with a touch of citrus. One of best Filipino restaurants my wife and I have experienced in the USA. Had the kare-kare, lechon kawali, and chicken on skewers. All were delicious. Fair pricing and flawless service. All tables stayed full while we were there. Only negative is we live in Miami and can't dine at Kabayan Grill more often.

Authentic Filipino Cuisine at an affordable price. I got the Halo Halo and it tastes so good, even when the the artic cold front was blowing thru Florida! Bihon and Palabok are great too. We got the sinigang pork and laing and great tasting as well.

I loved this place. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. I spend a lot of time in the Philippines with my family, and this gave me a touch of home while I am away from them. Highly recommend trying the food here. The place is small and comfy, which I love. I will definitely be coming back while I am in the area for work, especially to try the halo-halo. 😀

*Edited* Review from a couple of months ago, and when i looked back found some grammatical errors. Very highly rated and I've been to several filipino restaurants while visiting Orlando. If you are staying in the bulk of the timeshare property outside Disney, it's 25 minutes or so. An excellent choice as the traditional filipino fare is served. Thier lumpia is different than what I'm used too, but it's fine. I had a good lunch and took something for tonight as dinner. They offer canned coke products here. Parking was plentiful but also challenging. It's in a strip mall so there is lots to park but for my trip, it was a needless long walk. From the photos you see the food looks appealing, and tastes great. If you think serving sizes appear slightly smaller for the prices you could be right. I think that the prices warrent more portions but just a tad. Noticeable enough for the 1 star hit, along with having to pay for each can of soda.

Me & my mom were on the hunt for a Filipino food for lunch! The hostess was so friendly & bubbly. The food we ordered was the pancit the palabok, the mixed vegetables , the garlic shrimp , turon & halo halo. Everything was delicious, authentic and memorable. Mom and I ate here yesterday and it was a perfect meal for us. We ordered Tapsilog, Crispy Pata and Inasal Chicken, and everything was full of flavor and the meat were tender & juicy. Not to mention the servers were very sweet girls who are so accomodating & warm. We spoke to the owner who was also a pleasant gentleman. Everything was great and the food was superb!!! We will be coming back for sure. 10/10 recommended!

I’m so happy to have found a great Filipino restaurant in the area! I ordered the Lechon Kawali (crispy pork belly), Chicken Adobo, Kare Kare (pictured), and Turon (fried banana dessert). The food was excellent! The crispy pork was perfectly crunchy yet tender, and the Chicken Adobo was absolutely divine. If you haven't tried it yet, it's a must. The Kare Kare was delicious, with tender oxtail beef that had an incredible flavor. The service was also excellent. It's a quaint and cozy spot with a few tables, offering authentic, affordable food. Highly recommend!

The food here is the real deal. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and truly authentic. The savory dishes were perfectly seasoned, and the desserts were not overly sweet — just right. One of the best Filipino food experiences in Kissimmee! My kids enjoyed every single food we ordered. 😋

My husband and I love the crispy pata! It’s soooo good, crispy, and buttery! We also love the sauce that comes with it to dip. The 3 kings in the back who cook up the food are literal chefs kiss. I also love Gilbert! He’s my absolute favorite, and the lady working in the front was just so sweet! Overall I recommend this place ! Best Filipino restaurant in the city

Great friendly service and really delicious authentic flipino food. We were greeted with a smile and sat down immediately. The restaurant isnt fancy by any means but was clean and had a homey charm. We ordered bangus singinang, vegetables, and sizzling bangus. Each were delicious and not oily or too salty. The sizzling bangus was crunchy on the outside but still tender and moist. The sinigang had the right sourness. Im hypersensitive to fishinesss but the bangus in both dishes were not fishy at all. The pakbet dish was also good. The vegetables were fresh and still crunchy not mushy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back!

I went here with a few coworkers/ friends and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Upon entry, we were not greeted. We just walked in and took our seats. Someone then came and took our drink order. The place is VERY small, so make sure to come early to get a seat. No later than 10 minutes after we sat down, it was packed like Sardines. The bathroom could use some cleaning and updating, but not a deal breaker. When the food came out, it was so good and authentic tasting. We waited for about 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. Thankfully, my friend is Filipino, so she helped us with the menu. 🧡 Highly recommend.

Great food and friendly staff members! We enjoyed the Crispy Pata & Sisig with garlic rice. However, just need a little improvement with the desserts and AC/ventilation of the place! Tummy satisfied!

Got takeout. Flavor is good, quality of product needs improvement. The skewers were really chewy, siopao was hard, turon was good, lumpia was good except they gave us meat lumpia (which is fine, instead of the veggie as it says online) but without asking if it was ok.

Service was friendly but we had to wait a very long time for the letchon kawali. Food was average and don’t think we will return. A service fee was automatically added to the bill for our party size. I think they could improve on the flavours, ingredients and plating presentation. The sisig was meh at best. Will not be recommending this place to others. Paid over $170 USD including service fee We were looking for authentic Filipino cuisine and got mediocre at best. Similar reviews are listed with this same comment about quality and taste. I think they have room to improve.
