Lovely place. The fried calamari was light & crispy. I had crab rice. It was flavorful and definitely had enough for leftovers. My partner had pineapple rice. Flavorful and really nice presentation. Overall really nice Valentine date.

We went for lunch. They have a nice lunch menu but I went for the duck ramen special. It was so good! They know how to cook duck. And they were very accommodating of my mother in law's picky palate. Great experience for a special occasion

White Orchids has great Thai food with plenty of options for everyone. They have classics dishes and specialty dishes as well and simple appetizers with a Thai twist. They have a great drink menu as well. Service has always been great here every time I’ve come. Atmosphere is also good.

Everything was very good. Really enjoyed that the food was loaded with fresh vegetables. The money bags were my favorite. They were so good. My drink has a pear vodka with sake and that was also delicious.

About my 3rd time very inviting, courteous staff and excellent food. I had Thai tea, tropical fried rice with the highest level of hot and Thai cheesecake with ice cream will definitely visit again.

Great place, and surprisingly wide range of prices. Four levels of spiciness you can choose from, and they can provide extra spices as you need if the hottest is not enough for you. The specials, cocktails, and appetizers were on the pricier side, as you would expect, but not horribly so. I am a big eater, and just chose from the normal entries, and they were very good and priced very well! Each normal entre was about 14 dollars. I would recommend this place for both normal dinners and for dates, as the atmosphere and price range is fitting.

Decent place for Thai food, ordered cauliflower Thai style, red veg curry. Food and service both were reasonably okay.

I ended up at White Orchids Thai Cuisine at the Promenade Shops in Saucon Valley for an impromptu dinner with some friends who consider it one of their go-to spots. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated right away. The staff was incredibly welcoming and stayed attentive throughout the entire meal. To start, we shared the White Orchids Shishito Peppers, which were a great opener. For the main course, I went with the Pineapple Fried Rice, while my wife ordered the Crab Fried Rice. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Overall, a great dining experience and one I’d gladly repeat.

Tom yum soup was a little small for the price. Papaya salad didn’t have enough peanuts. Green curry was not green and it was a little pricey for the size.

I went here for lunch yesterday. All staff was friendly, helpful, and taking the dishes off the tables. No one stood around except to wait for the food to come out. The food was fresh and superb. The drinks.... well, let's just say after 2 drinks, we were tipsy. They were made to perfection.

Many options on the menu. Spice level 1-5 ( Thai hot). Our dishes were fresh, contained alot of vegetables and were generous in size. The wait staff were friendly and helpful in answering our questions about the menu.

This would have been all 5 star but our food came out in cold bowls so cooled off way too quickly. I don’t like eating cold fish curry. That aside. Flavours were terrific!! Server was lovely friendly and helpful.

Got a few pad Thais for takeout. My kids loved the chicken pad Thai. Wife and I got tofu and pork belly. The noodles were great, and flavorful. However, the pork belly was hard, dry and chewy. Not what I was expecting and for the price they charge I wanted great pork belly. Chicken pad Thai 9/10 (-1 pt for no lime. For the price they charge pls give us limes 😝) pork belly pad Thai 6/10. Tofu was fine. It’s fine.

Recently stopped for lunch and ordered the Drunken Noodles and Spring Rolls from the lunch menu. First, the lunch menu is not great IMHO. It includes a choice of select appetizers (1/2 size portion) and entrees (full size portion) for $24. That's a little pricey and a lot of food for one person for lunch so we split this combo. The spring rolls were about the same quality we'd get in the frozen food section at Sam's Club. The dipping sauce was bland. The Drunken Noodles was decent, but I'm pretty sure the chicken was reheated and not freshly prepared as it was dry and a little tough. The restaurant itself is in need of some care. The restroom is very worn and crummy looking. The preparation area used by servers is exposed, especially when going to the restroom and it appeared to be untidy. This restaurant is overpriced especially when the atmosphere and food quality is considered.

My wife and I came here for dinner on a weekday. We were excited to try White Orchids Thai Cuisine for the ver first time. There wasn’t a wait, we got a table right away, we asked for a booth and got it but it was a bit small. Really needed a booth that sat four even though it was us two. Needed more room for the plates and drinks. We ordered the papaya salad which was vegetarian. The papaya salad can easily serve for two people. The salad was good but you had to really chew it, it’s not something you can eat quickly. Also the white rice that it comes with is impossible to eat, it was very hard and inedible. We also ordered the stir fry rice with tofu. We asked to make it without the fish sauce but when we got the dish it had a taste of fish sauce. Also there wasn’t really any tofu in the dish. The portion size is large can feed two people easily. The last dish we ordered was the pad thai with chicken. There wasn’t much chicken but a lot of the noodles, portion size can feed two people. Overall atmosphere is good and pleasant, the service was great and the waitress was very knowledgeable. The price is pretty expensive for 3 dishes and one Coke which was flat. The check came out to $75 plus tip so $90, the waitress was really good not her fault the food came out the way it did. Since this restaurant is at the Promenade I guess you can expect a bill of $100 or more for two people if you ordered drinks. But I felt it was a bit pricey.

This place is to Thai food what Olive Garden is to Italian food, and that’s being generous. We ordered the pad Thai and the massaman curry, neither of which included protein. The pad thai as is is literally just noodles. We paid $6 to add tofu, and if you want to add vegetables, it is a $1.50 charge *per vegetable*, like you’re ordering a pizza. Both entrees ended up being $21. Pricy for Thai, but I don’t mind as long as it’s good. Also, the thai iced tea was $8 and nothing out of the ordinary. The food came and did not look impressive. Everything was pale and not garnished, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Both the curry and the pad thai were extremely bland, which isn’t something I’ve ever said about Thai before. The tofu was barely cooked and flavorless. At the very least, it could have been pan fried to give it a bit of texture. It tasted like it was straight from the package. The lack of flavor and seasoning meant that the potatoes and tofu in the curry, which are amazing flavor sponges, were just plain and sad. I had to request salt just to make it edible. Also, someone please tell me what parsley is doing in pad Thai? Yes, you read that right: not cilantro, Italian parsley. We stopped here on a very long road trip and were famished, so we did eat the food, but a Subway sandwich would have been preferable and more flavorful. This entire meal tasted like whoever cooked it went home afterward and made a macaroni and mayonnaise salad for potluck. If it had been cheap, maybe I’d be more forgiving, but the price/quality balance is so poor that it’s offensive. Anyway, two stars because the food was technically edible and the service was great. I’m having a hard time reconciling the hundreds of positive reviews with our experience, and I hope for the restaurant’s sake that this was just a very off day for them.

I have been enjoying the good Thai cuisine and location for lunch meetings for a while. The lunch deal and convenience of getting a table and a relatively quiet atmosphere to meet have been great. Unfortunately recently I decided to grab dinner take out and was seriously disappointed. The cost compared to other top Thai places in the area is +30% but what was more upsetting is the quality and quantity. No other way to put it. It was shocking and disappointing (see photo). I don’t understand what happened here because lunch portions were generous. Only thing I can think is the order taker wanted to charge a card on the phone before pick up which is fine. I was asked to add gratuity I had to decline twice. Perhaps this offended them. The dishes barely filled the containers. On top of all this they charged a 3% takeout service fee when I actually called and gave them my order on the phone (I see this when using a third party online menu and I get that because they have to pay that) but just for calling a take out order? Either way I will never order take out here again. There are better. Cheaper and more quality options for great Thai food nearby.

This used to be one of our absolute favorite restaurants, which makes writing this review even more disappointing. We’ve always come here specifically for the duck dish. it’s been our go-to every single time. Unfortunately, today was a completely different experience. The duck was extremely disappointing. The skin on the duck felt terrible. the texture was just off and not enjoyable at all. It honestly ruined what we were most looking forward to. My friend had to spit out a couple bites because it was that unpleasant. We still ended up paying for it. Even though it was half not eaten and half spit. We’ve seen some of the recent one- and two-star reviews, and I have to admit, I’m starting to realize that a lot of them may have been true. I honestly should’ve looked more carefully before coming in this time. That said, I do want to mention that the service is still good. Our server was very nice and treated us well, which we truly appreciated. Overall, though, this was an extremely disappointing experience compared to what we’ve come to expect. We’re really hoping this was just an off day because we’ve loved this place in the past and would still like to come back one day to give it another chance.

I rarely treat myself to takeout anymore so when I finally do and it’s this disappointing, it’s extremely frustrating and such a let down. This place is so inconsistent. When they are on their game, it’s great. But man, when they’re off, they’re way off. The Bangkok curry noodles can be an amazing dish there, but it’s a 50/50 chance that it’ll be half the size it was the last time I ordered it. Sometimes it’s lacking on curry broth so much so that there is literally not enough liquid to reconstitute the noodles as a whole dish. It’s a pathetic sight, and their customer service just claims that “it’s all measured out”. Gotta find a new Thai place.

My dish tasted awful. I had ordered a dish that was medium spice with ginger but received a bland dish with no ginger or spice. I asked to order something different but was told that I had to still pay for the dish that I only took two bites of. My girlfriend ordered soup as an appetizer. She kept asking where was the soup. They brought out the soup late with her meal. Every dish we ordered had issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money. Don’t go.
