Best customer service ever. Manager is a great man. I loved that entire visit. Will be back one day. Best pizza ever. Too much to say. Just amazing experience.
Calamari is impressive. The overall portion is big. Pizza looks great. Would like to try next time. Service is slow-paced but friendly.
Great place if you love Italian food! Took my wife here for her birthday! Started with a shared scrumptious salad. Had the’ll “Meat Lovers” pizza! Wow! Only one size was available so assumed it was a personal 8”, but it was a 16” wood fired pie!🤪 Dynamite! Wife had the crab noodle pasta dish! Good wine list and craft beer selection too. Total came to about $84. Good value and cozy romantic atmosphere for a relaxing date night!🥰
We had the opportunity to dine at the chef's table at Bacco during our visit and we were blown away by Chef Rich! Our family had dinner at Bacco every night we were in PA visiting my in laws!! The food was amazing and the personal touch by Rich made it extra special!!! I recommend this place and would give it 10 stars if possible!!! But the experience was definitley a cut above at the Chef's table! The family style approach while leaving all to the chef was amazing!! We got to taste some dishes not available on the menu and has been in the family for years!!! I can't think of a better place to have above and beyond service than Bacco!!!! The stafff is amazing and the vibe is great!!! A place that's second to none! Thanks for the experience!!!! We loved our server Trinity!!! She's the best!!! The whole team was amazing and we can't wait to go back!!! We will definitely be at Bacco everytime we're in PA!!! Ask for Rich!!!! Amazing!!!!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner with my wife there. Service was great and the food was very tasty. Looks like they had some new stuff on the menu since we were there awhile ago. Will go back again.
This was my first time here, but it was the best dinner I ever had with my coworkers! First, I have to rave about the food! It was absolutely delicious and made everything about the place better! After all, a restaurant's primary purpose is to serve amazing food, and this place did the job! I ordered the Polpette Due (House-made Meatballs), Drunken Brooklynn Coal Fired Pizza, and the Tiramisu as dessert. All three were equally amazing and delectable! Then there was the service! They did an amazing job, and our primary waiter was cracking jokes along with us and making sure everything went smoothly with our orders and drinks! Overall, he is a great person who deserves the world for the exemplary service he gave that night! And then there was the atmosphere! It was great, what more can I say? It exuded wonderful vibes that resonated with everyone, including others outside our group! Loved it and made everyone feel welcome! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat here and have a great time with family, friends, or coworkers!
Wow what a nice place, great atmosphere makes you feel warm and comfortable. We ordered pasta with meatballs and pesto parm pizza. Meatballs were almost the size of a baseball, tender and full of flavor. The gravy was on the thicker side with a nice touch of basil and true flavor of Italy. The pizza was a thinner crust, with a nice crunch. The pesto and olives gives the pizza a salty olive oil taste. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Bacco is 45 minutes from my home, I now wish I lived closer.
Indulge in a perfect Easter brunch experience at Baccos! From the moment you step in, you're welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is simply sensational with an array of options to suit every palate. Feast on brick oven pizzas, a delectable assortment of breakfast favorites, Italian pastas, banquet options, and more. The carving and omelet stations are a true highlight, offering made-to-order delights. The fresh choices are abundant, and the flavors are divine. Baccos is a must-visit for brunch enthusiasts looking to treat themselves to a memorable culinary experience. Don't miss out on this exceptional dining experience!
Now this place will surprise you. This is the perfect example of don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside, it looks like a normal restaurant, but you get inside and you see an amazing place like a hidden beauty. The staff is very warm, friendly and has amazing service. The food is super delicious, and thats putting it mildly. I might have to go to Philadelphia again just to visit this gem. If you are near Philadelphia, or are craving Italian cuisine go here!
Love this restaurant!!! Went once and knew I would have to choose it for my birthday dinner! The chicken parm is to die for!!! It comes with vodka penne, which I found so refreshing since usually places serve it with just more marinara sauced pasta. The atmosphere is the perfect combination of classy and casual! Bread, apps, and drinks are all also amazing!!! A little pricey, but the quality and above and beyond staff make it worth it!
We had had my brother’s rehearsal dinner at Bacco last night and I have to say everything was absolutely amazing! From the initial planning months in advance with their event coordinator, Victoria all the way to the food and service last night, we could not be more pleased! Our servers, Josie and Tyler were just absolutely wonderful. They made us feel like family from the second we walked in and were there every second to make sure our party of 45 had everything we needed. We had assorted pizza, calamari, and Cesar salad for apps, penne vodka and Alfredo for pasta, And chicken parm, chicken Marsala, and salmon dolce for the entree. All the food was so unbelievable. There was not one thing that wasn’t cooked absolutely perfect. There was plenty of food to go around and they were even nice enough to wrap up all the food that was not eaten. I cannot say enough about this location for any party needs. What really made the night was Josie and Tyler. Good service is so crucial during such an important event and they overachieved my expectations!! Thank you Bacco for making the night truly memorable!
A group of us from HS had a Christmas dinner at Bacco's. We were a group of twelve and the staff reserved a section for our party and could not have treated us any better than they did. Service was great, food was outstanding, and the owner came to our table to say hello. He chatted with us, exchanged stories, and was very engaging. We recruited him to take a photo of our group and he was more than happy to do it. A really great night!
My daughter and I were first time patrons and we were extremely impressed! I ordered the gluten free broccoli pizza and it was delicious. Our server Josie was fantastic. She was so personable. It was as if we were talking to a dear friend. I will definitely come back and bring my husband.
Josie our waitress! She’s amazing! Very attentive, sweet and personable. So lovely.
Great food and service! My friend and I had a fantastic dinner at Bacco Italian Restaurant in North Wales. The food was delicious, but the service from our server, Terri, truly stood out. Terri was excellent! She was so good at explaining the menu and making sure everything was perfect for me and my friend. We got the whipped ricotta with honey and the homemade pizza bread for our app and it was so good! We highly recommend asking for Terri if you visit Bacco.
Josie was amazing! This was our first time here and the entire experience (food, vibe, etc) was nothing short of perfect. We will be back, and would strongly recommend th experience for anyone else.
We have friends that recommended Bacco and we were very pleased. We will be back - there are more things on the menu to try! Josie did a great job!
We came in for a late dinner and even though they were winding down, we felt totally welcome and the service was fantastic. The food was excellent and the lava cake was amazing!
Beautifully decorated for Christmas, service, food and atmosphere was great. We had a party of 11 that ,we reserved ahead of time ,when we arrived we were warmly greeted and seated at our designated table. The parking lot was full so we parked by wawa next door, but when we got inside it didn't feel over crowded.
Wonderful, authentic food. Large portions, reasonably priced. Comfortable seating, tables well spaced, moderate noise level...easy to hear those across the table. If you're lucky enough to get Josie as a waitress, she's the icing on the cake, knowledgeable and helpful. GO!!!!
Our third time dining here and Bacco does not disappoint!! Josie is a delight and the service was excellent. Pollo Vincenzo and the chocolate lava cake are to die for. You can’t go wrong with anything really. An absolute gem of a place!
Our server Josie was amazing. She was very attentive and always brought everything we needed even if they were special requests. They allowed us to bring our dog to the outdoor patio and everyone treated her with such grace it added to the experience. The food was delicious and huge portions for the price. It was a great first experience at Bacco. Request Josie if you visit.
Wonderful and Romantic Valentines Day dinner at Bacco Italian Restaurant. Live music, excellent service and definitely outstanding meal!! Highly recommend 👌
My mom and I visited for the first time and were extremely impressed! Our server, Olivia, was wonderful—warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. She checked on us often without ever feeling intrusive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. I got the penne vodka pasta and it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back and bring my friends!
Our first visit here was a success! Bread was delicious, stuffed mushrooms were quite tasty but could have been hotter, my entree was pollo Vincenzo was the best and the cheesecake was fresh and also delicious!
Our annual Girls family Christmas luncheon. Our 1st time here, we will make it more often! Josie was wonderful!! Food and drinks were great. Best atmosphere for a great time! Service was spectacular, warm and felt like they were part of the family. We even got them in our Christmas pictures!! This place is awesome.
My girlfriend picked out this place for Valentine’s Day I was so happy she did. The atmosphere was awesome great service and the best part is the food every single thing we ate was perfect I never knew this place was so close to me and I will be coming back whenever I get the chance!
Took my small family to Bacco for Valentine's day. We had reservations and were glad we did! The atmosphere is top notch rustic italian with a nice bar area and plenty of seating. The pizza oven and plants every where will transport you to Italy! The food was great! We had the kids ravioli and meat ball which my little one devoured, the stuffed peppers, Osso Buca, and filet with vegtables and potato. The Osso buca was incredible, i loved it. My wife stated the filet was fine, the vegtables were not very well seasoned and the potato was kinda dry. For dessert we had the bread pudding and that was delicious! We got 2 drinks as well and they were both very good. We also got Cappuccinos which some how came out luke warm at best. We think they just had it pre-made which is a bummer. The big complaint i have is the water/ice. We got 4 waters throught our time there and all but 1 had black floaties in them, not 1 floatie but multiple. I mentioned it to the waiter and he immediately replaced my childs water with a new one.. that one ALSO had floaties. So, i think they need to deep clean the ice machine and/or their water spigots. The service was great and the waiter was very nice. Food came out quickly and piping hot. Pricing was fair for the upscale setting and quality of food. We paid $167 for 3, two adults and 1 child. Not including tip. Upon leaving the restaurant my wife snagged her stiletto heel into a large crack with a chunk missing on their side walk. She fell very hard and scraped her knee and arm. This should be repaired immediately before someone gets hurt worse. The 5 stars here should be 4.5 because of those issues
We went for the first time on Valentines day evening. We've wanted to for years. The place is beautiful and the music was perfect. I guess everyone was tired from a busy day. The food tasted great and the mixed drinks were amazing. The server didn't seem to care by that time of day. My drink sat empty for quite awhile. When our food arrived it looked and tasted great. I took a break for a couple minutes and a totally different server came over after only 10 minutes of having the food, asked me if I was done and want my food boxed. I literally had 2/3rds left. We were both confused as to why they would come over while we were talking just because I didn't take a bite for a couple minutes and make us feel rushed. Everyone around us was there longer. Anyway at that point it was disappointing so I took the rest home. That moment stole the spotlight.
Our server Josie was amazing and created such a welcoming atmosphere. She was extremely quick to take our orders and was on point about everything. The entire staff, including Matthew, was also very sharp and did a great job.
The Interior is waaaaay nicer than the Doylestown location. Great atmosphere for a business meeting or a date! Staff is very friendly and the food was great! The Drunken Brooklyn was phenomenal! Can't go wrong with this choice! Better than the Doylestown location! The Nonna's Meatball Sammich was good, but I thought it could use a little more sauce. The Fra Diavlo was good, but I thought the Doylestown location did it better. The sweet n spicy, and Bacco wings were phenomenal as well! If you are curious about how to start your meal, GET THE WINGS!!!! Lastly, i know they're fries, BUT THE FRIES!!! So good!!!! Update: Food is still top notch but the service the last two times has been pretty atrocious. I'm patient but the price I'm paying to eat out, I expect better service. Definitely coming back again soon! Update: The prices at this location have unfortunately gone up. The service was definitely better this time compared to the previous two trips. Had the Chicken Parmesan with Penna Voda and the Fra Diavlo. Both were very, very good. It's very odd. Their pastas are very good. Their pizzas are very good. Their wings and other appetizers are very good. But the sandwiches are pretty bad. I've tried almost all of them, and I would never order any of them again. All in all, today was a good experience.
Really enjoyed this place! The drinks and appetizers were really good and it was very lively inside. Came on a Saturday and there was live performances. Our waiter, Matthew, was awesome! He helped us pick out our food and was very attentive. The entrees were okay (kinda lacked some flavor) but still good. Will definitely come back and try something else
Have been here on different days but this was a Friday night. The food was very good and service was kind and helpful.
Really beautiful authentic Italian place to get your fix. Loved the ambiance and everything we ordered was great. We came on a Thursday and we're only handed a specials menu and not told of the giant parmesan wheel we could have alfredo made table side. Huge disappointment on this as we are from out of town and even asked about alfredo and was told the tri-pasta plate was the only way to get it. Split that with another family member. While it was good, everyone who wanted the parm wheel felt like it was a missed opportunity. Lemo drop was goo's but very potent. Almost undrinkable with how strong it was. Went well with the starters but not great for the main dishes.
The restaurant is above average in service and atmosphere. The food in my case was a little bland, however what I wife had she said was good…
This was our 3rd visit and our dinner server was Evan and he was great! Never left us wondering where he was and made sure our meal was served as asked for! Food was great too! If you are wondering why not 5 stars - if everything was 5 stars there would be no need for reviews besides there is always room for improvement! Keep up the great work Bacco!
Great food. You can tell the managers have been doing this for a while by their lack of acknowledgement of their guests coming and going. Parking lot was packed but got seated right away. Best Italian place in the area.
We ordered four dishes in total. The Vongole was satisfying, and the pizza had a good overall flavor, though the olives on top were too salty, so we had to remove them. The salad was decent. However, the artichoke was overcooked and too tough to eat—we ended up spitting it out, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, our coke was forgotten, and one slice of pizza was dropped while serving. That being said, the live music created a wonderful atmosphere, making the dining experience enjoyable. Without these small mishaps, it could have been an even better meal!
Love the Italian food here, tried out their specialty.. appetiser we choose sausages, and Salmon, pasta and Steak for dinner. For steak, ordered medium but was medium rare and could not finish. The portion was big size and had a lovely dessert. We chose to sit outside and area was quiet and comfortable
My wife and I went with friends for dinner. Dean was singing the entire time we were there and came to our table to sing happy birthday to me which was funny. Our server Teri was great, very attentive and helpful. There were a couple of food issues, my wife’s meal was very dry and had far too much salt. The manager came over and we let him know so he removed it from our bill and he gave us free Lemoncello. Another appetizer was messed up but corrected. Overall it was a good experience and we will be back and will ask to be in Teri’s section!
Fun place n service is great....we have enjoyed Bacco for many years...had several family celebrations, special bdays, etc. But something has changed in last 3-4 months.... not sure if a new chef??... several of our most faves are Not the same. .. stuffed long hots, mussels, Brooklyn pizza etc are not made the same n were a let down. Please bring back original recipes!!
Maybe 3 stars is a bit harsh because it was a Saturday nite and they were swamped, but service was SLOW. Even with reservations, we waited. A lot! Seated right away but waited to give drink order, waited to give dinner order, had to ask for bread; nearly an hour for 3 meals (no apps).Food was good but not great. Waiter was unapologetic…seemed frazzled- he was serving a private party at same time. The Ladies room was very clean (important to me).Best was singing Dean (shout out to Dean Garofolo) who never disappoints. Unfortunately it was so loud and noisy, we could barely hear him.
I just had the worst short rib dinner. The short rib was overcooked and tough. I gave 3 stars because the cozzi and fra diavlo was delicious
My husband and I stopped in for dinner. We always enjoyed Bacco. Great food and the outdoor patio is beautiful. Tonight, however, they definitely had an issue in their kitchen. It took over an hour to get our food. I had a clam and shrimp dish and one of the clams wasn't open and some of the pasta wasn't done. It was all stuck together in a hard ball. We mentioned the unopened clam to the waitress, but she didn't offer anything. For an Italian restaurant- the pasta should have been perfect and for the price of the dish- all of the clams should have been edible.
Each time I go it is a gamble. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes not so good. Service and atmosphere is nice. Last time we went. The veal Marsala was wierd. Tasted good. But not like veal; more like beef. Also, most of the food is very salty. Tiramisu dessert is awesome.
The food and service is phenomenal. The 3 starswere given due to it being obnoxious to pay. My songs and I were all given gift cards for Christmas. We decided to do a group sibling date with our significant others. Upon making a reservation and arriving, we sat at the table and had a wonderful waitress who informed us we could only use two gift cards per the entire table. She also told us she is unable to split the check up by couple. She could only split it in half or by three. Unfortunately, not everyone in our group could afford to pay for their entire meal out of pocket since only two gift cards were allowed to be used. Also, some of us ordered differently and dishes were more expensive than others. So splitting the entire amount by three (when there were four couples) did not come out fairly. This put a damper on our otherwise delightful evening.
This was my first time going to Bacco. The interior is beautiful. However, the smell inside the restaurant was not pleasant. There were also flies everywhere and constantly flying near or onto the food. The waiter was polite, but not attentive. The food was not good at ALL. The chicken from the chicken parm was rubbery. The pollo florentine was just downright awful….bland and dry. The only thing that tasted okay was the bread and sauce that is given as you sit down. I am very disappointed because I came here after reading the great reviews. Will not be returning.
Dinner on Thursday 8/28/25. The live music was awesome. The gentlemen singing brought back great memories. The food portions we good the $$. The food less than good. Appetizer was just warm. The main dish was the same. I had chicken parm with pasta on the side, it was barely warm. I took everything home. When server asked how was everything I told him the food was warm. He said oh let me bring you your check. After collecting the payment he never return. He was bothered by my response. We still left him a 22% tip..
I do not like writing negative reviews but after talking to the manager I feel compelled to do so. The chicken was rubbery and very thick. I told the waitress and she agreed with me and apologized. My husband ate my pizza and packed his chicken to take home. On the way out I discretely told the manager, and he dismissed my complaint saying that the chicken parmesan is the favorite dish at the restaurant and was not interested to hear my complaint. I know what chicken parmesan dish should look like! Here are the pictures so you decide for yourself!
It is a shame to have to leave a bad review for Bacco. The waitstaff was excellent the food was very good the atmosphere was festive and warm BUT.... I can't recommend management's decision to steal from patrons. I came in with a gift card which had no expiration date on it In the amount of $50.00. When I presented it my waiter took it and came back to tell me that it was no longer good but that they would give me $25.00 credit. I objected and suggested that he have his manager review this. He came back with a small sign that said effective Sept 2025 any older gift card will not be honored at full value. Because I had tickets to an event I allowed them to cheat me. A family member paid $50.00 for this gift card and they basically stole $25.00. I am not pleased with this at all.
