My Garden Cafe

The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. I especially like that you can get the whole menu the entire time they're open. That is, you can have a burger & fries at 8 am while someone else in your party can have breakfast. They also let you add or subtract things from your choices. You want bacon & mushrooms on that burger, no problem. You want the country potatoes without onions and peppers - done! Just ask.

I like to come to My Garden Cafe for the breakfast or Lunch. I had the meatloaf sandwich on sourdough bread and it was good. The waitresses do a very good job of making sure I was taken care of. I had my cup of coffee ☕ filled up three times I was there and I didn't have to call them. The food is good and the portions will fill you up, especially the breakfast menu.

We love garden Cafe! Large variety of choices, the omletes are the best I've ever had because the eggs are thick and fluffy and there are a lot of goodies inside. All the food has been good. Excellent wait staff. It's the sort of place that gets regulars and it's very friendly and relaxed.

best breakfast in town without a doubt, but do not order the Huevos Rancheros, the salsa straight taste like salsa Pace Picante. That order did not taste good. luckily the cholula hot suace and some salt made it taste good enough to eat. order anything else and it will be an amazing breakfast.

Good service and food staff is very friendly and welcoming they have good prices on specials and other meals as well.

Friendly staff, great sense of humor and felt very comfortable. Love the decoration. My out of town company LOVED this restaurant, and want to go again when they return. Plus right around the corner from my home, so we can walk off our delicious meals

We did not dine in there, my wife had me pick up to go. It was very good. We both got breakfast and it was well worth it. Next time I hope that we dine in.

Ladies are friendly, the kitchen is efficient. Got our food out quickly and Always had a cup full of coffee. Place is bright and lots of cute signs to read as you wait for your food :-)

This is a typical diner at heart but they have a pretty diverse menu and hearty food. Service was attentive and fast and it's a good place for small family gatherings.

I ordered their country fried chicken breakfast. It came with many add-ons (included) and I chose biscuits and gravy and hash browns. The entire meal was amazing. Easily the best country fried chicken meal I've EVER had. Will be returning in a couple days. P.s. meal only cost like $13. WELL WORTH IT. great staff as well

One of my favorite places to take my Mom for breakfast or any meal. Staff are so pleasant and helpful and always have a smile. The food is always hot and delicious. And you can't beat the price.

This is by far one of our favorite places to go for breakfast and lunch. We'll even travel out of our way to eat here. The staff is always top notch and they always remember us and our likings. The cooks are very very good and make everything so so tasty. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. They treat you like family there.

I had the corned beef hash it was beyond excellent not a bunch of ground corned beef it was large succulent chunks of corned beef with perfectly cooked potatoes my mother in law had some biscuits and gravy I didn't even need to try them to see how fluffy they were food was excellent

Came in during a slower time, so I haven't seen how they work during a rush. Reasonably priced for a small diner, food was exceptional, but you're really paying for the great service. The location had enjoyable interior decor and was very comfortable.

Great service, but really cold on the side with no windows. The wait staff is really attentive and quick. The food is pretty good. Same menu as the other My Garden Cafes. I would rather come to this location than Turlock or Modesto if they update/fix the restrooms.

We absolutely LOVE my garden cafe. We always go to Turlock and everything is ALWAYS great. Today we stopped at the one in Ceres. Worst service ever!! 3 tables came in after we were sat. 2 had there food and the other order was already taken before coming to our table. I told the host we were ready to order and we still waited. Being a server before i understand short staffed or what not but seems like she picked tables of ceres regulars before even coming to my table. We will stick with turlock. Where both the food and service are exceptional.

Prices were a little too high for what you get. Service was good and cook does well with what they had on hand to prepare . . . Food could have been better. I'd prefer Perkos.

For the Ceres location, the food was great and very fast, but my fiance and I were disappointed in the service and price for the service. We felt like they wanted us in and out .. even on a Sunday morning. We are a young looking couple in our early 40s so perhaps we were viewed as kids. First and last time we go here.

The food is usually always good and the waitresses are amazing but this is the second time that I have witnessed the cook berating the waitresses loudly in Spanish unbeknownst to them that we understood. I have been a customer since you started this location and my granddaughter who is 13 years old got a waffle and asked for chocolate chips mixed in which has never been a problem. They came on top which we could of delt with but the waffle was very under done so we sent it back and asked the waitress to have them cook it more done this time and please mix the chips in. That is when the cook went off on her in Spanish and the whole restaurant could her him. I was very embarrassed for her and for us as well. The cooks need a huge dose of anger management and how to treat their fellow co-workers. If they don't want to put the chips in because they have to clean their iron I get but it should be noted ahead of time and given the opportunity to make a change. You have a great business and one bad apple can ruin the bunch.

Ordered 2 breakfast skillets and an order of one egg and beacon it was over fifty dollers.The waitress was very personable and helpful. But there was no way it should of cost that much. It did not taste good my husband and I could not even eat it .

Came in for lunch earlier today. Food was very good. My problem came from the lack of service. As we entered, the staff were talking to folks in the entryway, leading us to think they were friendly staff. After being seated, our drinks and food were brought out quick enough. However, we were basically ignored after that with our waitress setting the bill on table, wordlessly, before continuing on. There was minimal interaction when accepting payment and returning the receipt to the table, as well. After a good bit of time had passed, we had to wave someone over to get a to-go box. No one was at the front when we left. No refills or desserts or any other food were offered during our meal. My advice: if you don't want the staff to talk to you at all, this place is a good choice.

I'm only giving 2 stars because when I walked in the older lady clearly seen me and I waited at the front counter and then a white couple walked in am she immediately ask them how many I am African American and the couple was white she ignores the fact I walked in before them other than that I got seated and the young lady who took my order was awesome she was nice and friendly food was good but think it's probably more then one racist person that works there

My husband, daughter, and I went in for breakfast this morning. My daughter got water and the kids cup had black spots all over the rim. We asked for another water, and this time, it was filled with black specks. We brought it up to both waitresses, and they tried to explain it away. They told us that's just how the cups are, when we told them to get a clean cup, there was no black on it. So then the excuse was that it was just the ice. Either way, excuse after excuse, that is UNACCEPTABLE. If there are black specs in the ice bin, then the ice needs to be drained and restocked, not given to customers. If you're looking for a breakfast spot in Ceres, stay away from My Garden.

I went up to the service counter and informed them as I was paying. They said they’d check it out and didn’t offer a discount or a free meal, nothing. I will not be going back.
