One of the BEST shrimp burritos I’ve EVER had. Margarita was solid. Pricing was very affordable. Service was exceptional. Atmosphere was enjoyable. Food was delicious.

Good! Quality food, really great weekday drink specials to get folks in the door. Menu is VERY large, so there's something for everyone, but maybe it suffers a little due to that? Fried chimichanga was simple, but tasty. Solid place to grab a bite and a marg. I'll be back to try some other food.

My husband & I were heading back to Durham we hadn't been to this spot in awhile . However from what we remember this place never let us down. We were a tad bit apprehensive at first with our waitress.. But things leveled out. Great atmosphere very inviting. Modern feel music was kinda loud but we managed. Food very tasty, great temperature, & leaves you wanting more. We highly recommend this spot. Whether you live in the area or just passing through.

Tried La Hacienda in Chapel Hill after hearing good things about their margaritas and they definitely lived up to the hype! We ordered the Mango Margarita, Piñita Rebelde, and Amor Prohibido, and all three were really good. If you like fruity margaritas, you'll enjoy these. For food, we tried the Fajita Burrito, Pollo Caliente, and Pollo El Mazatlan. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. No complaints on the food side. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the service. We were sitting outside since we had our FurBaby with us , and the service was pretty slow. After our food came, it kind of felt like we were forgotten. I had to go up to the front to ask someone to refill chips & salsa and even to get a to-go box. Overall though, good drinks and tasty food. If you're in Chapel Hill and craving Mexican with solid margaritas, it's worth checking out!

Really good rice, beans were not my fav. Cheese enchiladas need to be cheese that is served melted and has better texture. Not sure what it was. Salsa and chips are good.

Visited here for the first time recently. Wasn’t busy at all and the people were nice. Service was a bit slow just getting our drinks to us but we ordered a lot of frozen drinks so that could have been it. Several of our frozen drinks were served in huge bowl glasses and it was a huge serving, so that’s a plus. Our server was very friendly. The queso was delicious. I got a burrito with ground beef which was huge and very good. The women’s bathroom was clean, tidy and seemed like it was recently redone. I would definitely go back again.

Overall, a disappointing take out experience. When I called back to modify my order, I got hung up on. There was no one at the host stand, and we had to wait a while for somebody. Once we got our food it was cold, also there was only one bag of chips for our large order. Chips were stale, and we got charged extra for a salsa we didn’t even order.

La Hacienda is a fairly good Mexican restaurant that is kind of a combo of sports bar and Mexican restaurant. We were part of a large party so there's plenty of room in the restaurant. Service was OK since it's airways hard to serve a large party. Food was pretty good if you try something less standard and there a good number of vegetarian options but not really any vegan choices. A little hokey with the lights in the margaritas and they don't have top shelf tequila. Location is asking the access road to 15-501 so not hard to get to from 40 and across from Wegmans.

I ordered a cheese quesadilla and received the smallest “quesadilla” I’ve ever seen. They used American cheese which I’ve also never seen in a quesadilla. On top of that they charged me $2 for a tiny thing of sour cream that usually comes with a quesadilla.

Overall it was a nice place with great service and good food My reason for the low rating is the prices werent accurate to menu or online. They ended up being still reasonable prices for as 2025 prices go but it just should have menus updated so theres no surprises There was also competingly loud different music playing at the same time that made the atmosphere more chaotic feeling and was distracting.

Can I give someone a zero review?! Order the ATP (literally rice and chicken) THEY CHARGED $1.50 for Bell Peppers. $1.50 for mushrooms. $1.50 for Zucchini. $1.50 for broccoli. All a small amount of each veggie. Maybe $0.10 each if I went across the street to the market. Tiny amount of all these veggies is $6 extra on a $14 meal. No one telling you this meal costs this much and no one telling you they’re included. $6 fake charge they make up to screw you over. But it gets better. Walk out of the restaurant and my credit card charge is in fact different than my check. $74.92 on my check, $77.17 on my credit card before tip. Think it’s a coincidence with them hiking the prices like this? I think not. They’re banking on you not checking so they can up charge even more. Will not visit again. Will be visiting management to make sure they fix my check… if not I will continue to dispute this with my credit card until I’m done right. There’s no reason for this you should all be ashamed. Do not come here.

Mediocre food and my family and I had a horrible customer service experience. Our server Liz was great but the menu did not make it clear that it was a $1.50 upcharge for each vegetable on top of the ACP. I assumed it was mixed veggies which was my fault, but $1.50 was still ridiculous for the few tiny morsels of zucchini, onion, etc. they put. This wasn’t even as big of a problem for me since our server, again was very kind and understanding, but when I asked the manager (Geronimo) about this issue he was extremely rude. He spoke to us in a very condescending manner and shrugged off our concerns. Overall I was very upset by the poor customer service and lack of transparency.
