Great location, excellent food. I ordered ahead for pickup and it was very fast & hot. The staff were very friendly and very generous portions.

This location, though it has a 93 sanitation score, has very tasty hibachi options that are quick for take-out. The cashier always quickly acknowledges me and is ready to take my order. The food, even with a recent price increase, is somewhat reasonably priced, given the economy. It's a nice treat.

We love steak and chicken but for some reason this locations food seems to be cooked too fast or needs oil. The steak hardens within seconds and the rice is always hard. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely give it another shot and I'll update the review.

Place is a little hole in the wall. The food is good. I've been here a handful of times and I always run the steak hibachi. I would get pick up as it always seems to be 100 degrees in the restaurant.

The hibachi steak actually tasted pretty good. But the last two times I ate there, there was hardly any steak or mushrooms on my plate. 🙄 Also the last two times that I ate there I got extremely sick afterwards🤮 I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not. But BOTH times that I ate at sogo, I got extremely sick that night. And had stomach pains for up to 3 days afterwards. The girl who was sitting down the entire time she took my order staring at her phone was actually polite when she did look at me. Pretty sure I'm not going to eat here anymore though. Fool me once... You know how that goes

I was leary going in, but the food was actually quite good. Several things on the menu were not available, but we found something we could like. It feels a bit dirty and quite old. But all in all wasn't too bad.

Giving it two stars bc it usually isn’t as terrible as it was tonight , it’s usually at least edible. I called my order in today and when I arrived it was wrong. I didn’t have the side of chicken I ordered or white rice instead of the fried rice they gave me. She took the food to correct it then gave it back to me without carrots. After getting home to eat it the white rice they gave me WAS NOT COOKED. I chewed half cooked rice and spit it out. So hard I can’t even eat the rice. And the chicken was very tough. Never returning. Hopefully I don’t get sick.

I ordered two chicken & steak plates. I'm highly disappointed. The meats are dry and the carrots are not sweet. This was my first time ordering from this location. It may be my last time.

This place has come down hill! It’s the 2nd time this week they have given me the wrong order. Just yesterday Thursday 6/26 I ordered 2 combo plates and food plate was very empty. It’s like they barely wanted to put anything in it being at the price they are at right now, very disappointing. Second of all that girl who is assuming is new kept ignoring the calls while they place was empty. I miss the old guys who use to be there they always had my order right & ready. Don’t waste your money at this place!!!

6-12-2025 I walked in to order my food. The young gentleman at the counter was nice. He took my order. As I sat down to observe the cooks making my food, I observed something alarming!! I over half the people waiting were DOOR DASHERS!!! What this means for YOU is that YOU REALLY don't see the places YOU order your food from! The place was filthy! The light fixtures were dusty and dirty..lights above the kitchen had dead bugs in it..The drink machine hasn't been cleaned in lord knows how long. The cooks did not wear gloves,nor hair nets!! I watched them preparing various dishes ,never cleaning the station. If someone had a seafood allergy I'm pretty sure this was why!! I watched the young guy that took my order, push his hair back a few times,wipe his face off with his shirt...go from handling money to dropping egg rolls!!! Talk about nasty!! The egg rolls were greasy and tasted freezer burned.

Hibachi pit on concord pkway u get filet mignon steak big chunks and big chunks of chicken u don’t have to have extra for sides because it comes with the hibachi dinner!!! They are winning over jogos and sogos Update!!! I just got sogos tonight and they told me they don’t do half rice half noodles.. point Proven!!! $15 paid to not get what I want

They have gone downhill. I used to come here all the time for the past 5years. I will never return if my life depended on it. I came an hour before closing on a Tuesday so I assume that they were just careless with making the food. I ordered the steak and chicken combed plate. It was so DRY. There was no sauce at all on the meat as though it had just been left out all day. I also ordered noodle and there was Shan no sauce or flavor to them. The food was inedible and I took a few bites and threw that trash out!

I would give 1/4 of start if I could. I got hibachi chicken rice, The chicken is chunky and way over cooked, I couldn’t swallow, it was sooo dry. The carrot is out of can and tastes nasty. All I ate was the rice and a little mushrooms. They need to send the chef to a good hibachi place to get trained.

I probably eat sogo 4 or 5 times a week. Got lunch for myself and my mother today at the location close to her house. Second time I went there and second time I was underserved there. Normally I have all 3 compartments filled at least to the tops of the barriers, if not over. Sogo is a fair deal when serverd the usual amount but this location needs to step up their game to get it up to par with the other locations. Forks were forgotten too.
