Alberto's Mexican Food

Great place to eat a meal before watching a movie next door. The carne asada burrito was great with the house salsa verde. The prices are also very reasonable, especially these days where meals can reach over $15.

The best Albertos I had in the inland empire and I've had them all and the place is huge with 2 tvs I highly recommend this place

They have the best menus and fish tacos I have are. Great customer service and very friendly and attentive to you needs. I love this place. I eat almost every weekend with my wife and order almost 2 to 3 times a week. You should come in...youll enjoy it.

The food was excellent and freshly made. The place was clean and comfortable. I live in the SF Bay Area but originally from San Diego and grew up eating at Alberto's (different locations). Still loving it! BTW, I don't care for NorCal's Mexican food.

My go to for a Mexican craving, my usual is the California burrito or the breakfast burrito.

I always have an excellent experience. I truly enjoy the green chili burrito with beans and cheese no rice It’s excellent. I highly recommend it.

I can’t speak for all Alberto’s, but I can speak for this one. My foodie persona: flavorful, fatty foods are the best. ordered two burritos: one adobada and the other, which is not on the menu, but they still serve - cabeza. The burritos are like 1.5x the regular size of a normal one. The adobada is very flavorful, with fatty bits that make you feel like you’re in a dream. The cabeza had a clean, flavorful profile also with fatty bits that just melts in your mouth. Can’t speak for the other plates or for the experiences of others, but this rivals that of Tacos Los Cholos. In fact, it serves as much quantity, but at 2-3 dollars cheaper. I'm coming back.

I love this Albertos. I always get a carnival plate. It's shredded not cubed pork that is super tender and flavorful. 2 flour tortillas beans rice guacamole and Pico complete the plate. Perfect for 2 burritos.

Food is okay the other Alberto's in Chino CA on Central Ave is Much better. Customer service is good. Price is on the higher side but you can get the regular mini tacos for 99cents which if you go to a Taco Stand or Restaurant it's the same size for much more in price.

Albertos is good and I go their once a week. But I have to say I was let down today when I order a chili Verde burrito. The pork was dry, hard . I hope management see this post cause they need to maintain a good reputation.

This place is one of the better Alberto's. Food is really good. The carnitas has a nice sear to it. I wish I could say the same about the carne asada. It use to be seared. Lately, it comes out a bit rubbery like the way the others Albertos have theirs. Like it was boiled. Also, there's a fee when using credit card. It still throws me off when I see it on my receipts and I've been coming here for years.

Stopped in for lunch, which had to be small and fast so I ordered a flying saucer with grilled chicken. I didn't think of taking a photo of my food. One because I was hungry and took a big bite, second its not too appealing look at food chewed on.This Place is clean, staff friendly and the food fresh. This Alberto's is next to a movie theater so I would assume it can get busy. When I was their it wasn't, with just one other person having lunch. The menu is large with a number of my favorite dishes. I will be back to try out a few of them.

The flour tortillas are delicious and homemade. I would recommend the carne asada burrito. I wouldn't recommend the bean and cheese burrito because they use canned refried beans. Overall this place is great and I always want to stop by when I'm in the area.

Its fast food so dont expect anything more, but way better than Taco Bell. This location us kinda hidden at the end of the movie theater. The torta, asada burrito & taquitos are probably the best choices. Since they are fast food they are pretty quick, but also very sloppy.

Sometimes the food isn't good a lot of grease and tortia hard like it's old. I have also came across hard pieces of carna asada like bone or hard cartilage on more than one occasion. The people are nice and it's not all the time but it happens enough times it's upsetting.

Worst service ever! Bondie was horrible at the register. She was not helpful. I came in asking for the vegetarian option. They laugh and recommended the bean burrito. I've been to many Alberts restaurant before in Los Angeles but this was by far the worst. Don't come here. The burrito wasn't great either.

Terrible! They charge you for every little thing. I ordered the carne asada fries, and they wouldn't give me pico de Gallo unless I paid 50 cents. I said it's in the picture and the casheir said I just work here, you have to pay for it. Just terrible service!

Danger Danger Danger Ive been going to this Alberto's for years and yesterday was my 1st bad experience and unfortunately it could have caused me sever medical complications. I ordered a standard bean and cheese burrito. Upon roughly a third bite I felt something very sharp against my inner cheek. When I pulled it out, it was a piece of metal. Probably less than a 1/16" thick (a little thicker than an industrial staple) it was wavey and roughly an inch long. I was given a full refund with NO APOLOGY from the young man who clearly had no idea how to react or respond. But note I actually had to ask for the refund. We obviously didn't finish our dinner Let the buyer beware. Clearly they are not careful.

I don’t know who’s writing all these 5 star reviews, but DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! The food is awful. So bad I threw more than half of it away. No sour cream, chips or dips...way overpriced slop. If I could I’d give it less than a one, I’d give it is zero.

New to the area, I've eaten at this location once before.... but I think the location in chino us much better (this 1 is just closer). Either this alberto's is inconsistent, or they've changed their menu. I ordered the carne asada nachos aka the "super nachos " the first thing I noticed was they are using new packaging and of course smaller.... as for the nachos.... it didn't have beans!!! And compared to last time tonight's nachos had alot less carne asada, there was minimal amount of cheese basically garnished on top and wasnt even melted!! These nachos were basically chips with some guacamole and alot of pico ....which was mostly raw onions smh. Obviously this wasn't worth the $10 ... if I feel like having alberto's in the future, I'll drive to the further location in chino....and definitely wont go back to the chino hills location! 👎👎

Won't go there again. Any place so stingy with their hot sauce 3 little containers after spending 30$ plus. And they won't sell you extra! It's hot sauce not fricking caviar!

Food is not good. After viewing Napoleon at Harkins Theatre; I stoped for a quick bite. It was 1600hr and by 0030; I was running to the toilet… I called the restaurant but know one answered. They were closed. I always go to the Albertos on Mission & Romona and they are always good to me, but this spot is not. Will never go back to this restaurant

Would Not recommend! Very greasy! Stomach pain that lasted for hours. I got asada nachos and my friend got asada quesadilla. We both got sick. Didnt realize until eating 3 quarters of my plate that its not up to par. Personally, never dining here again.

The cashier in front was very impatient. I just wanted to have dinner, but he kept banging his hands on the table when I ordered. He was very impatient.

Drove 20mins there, Requested no Meat, returned home to Meat in meal. Contacted location and refused to refund incorrect meal via phone. Waste of money, gas, and time.

Food is definitely not fresh taste, and in comparison to the Alberto's in Alhambra CA, this place portion is terrible. I ordered the verde burrito with carnitas and it's a disappointment I spoke with the cashier about the fact that the burrito has more rice and beans than meat. I cut up the burrito because it's a wet burrito and I share with family. I clumped up the meat into a ball to the side of the plate and barely the size of a meat. Cashier explains that they use a ladle for portion measurement, but the amount I was given is no way half filling that ladle. He says insist that they filled it, and would charge me for more. I usually order burrito with carnitas, because I like getting big chunks of meat with carnitas like Alberto's in Alhambra, Ca, but this place is a joke.I've eaten at Alberto's in Alhambra CA and I get three times the amount of carnitas. All in all, portions and quality are terrible, not worth the price of $13 and up, customer satisfaction is obviously not important, and the restaurant was practically empty and hotter than the outside temperature. Seriously, turn on the dang A/C. Cheapskates.

I ordered the asada torta…the asada was bland and the tortas i have had anywhere else had beans, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and cotija cheese. The one i got only had guacamole lettuce and asada. After eating, my husband and i both felt nauseous! Very disappointing…the fries were also gross!

Super Sergios in pipeline also did the same exact price jump for thier Carne Aasda nachos/fries. Now here's the fun part. I did a ton of calling around and Albertos in Chino off of central by the 60 freeway and they charge 14.50 for the same thing. I also just came back from Mira Mesa San Diego Ca and similar places are even cheaper for the same Carne Asada nachos/fries. Do not buy from these fast food mexican restaurants Chino Hills. Yes it is known as a rich area so they are taking advantage. Papa Chinos and Urban Fish Taco also have Carne Aasda fries/Nachos which is higher quality and cheaper... few miles down in pomona and Chino you'll also find cheaper places in similar restaurants for similar mexican food!

The california burrito they sell here is not a "CALIFORNIA BURRRITO". Super small, the portion of meat is ridiculous. Not worth it.

I did a ton of calling around and Albertos in Chino off of central by the 60 freeway and they charge 14.50 for the same thing.
