Lollicup Tea Zone

Came in today for the first time. I am much more a coffee person than tea but based off of the reviews I wanted to try a tea. Ordered the rose tea and was in love from the first sip! Best tea I’ve ever had! Amazing selection of teas, coffees and smoothies. The only downside is now I will be craving this place and I live about 30 mins away :-)

I absolutely love Lollicup and their boba! Amazing flavors, and customer service. We love getting boba smoothies and only come here! Worth the 30 minute drive!

Best bubble tea in San Diego. They have a great atmosphere and amazing customer service. I have been a happy customer since 2014. I love it here and always make sure to stop by when I come home during the holidays. Thanks for the amazing drinks and great memories. This will always be my go to place for bubble tea.

Best traditional boba spot in San Diego hands down. Prices are way cheaper than your average boba spot but quality isn't sacrificed because of this. Been coming here since 2007 when I was in high school and it is still owned and operated by the same family who are super friendly and easy to talk to. Gotta try the jackfruit shake!!!

I've tried boba at all the bubble tea places and restaurants that sell boba here in the Eastlake area (compared about 10) , ranked them, and hands down this is the best boba spot in the whole area. Not only is it the most affordable of them all, but also all the boba pearls are always perfect, never being undercooked or hot like in other places near by. There's a large variety of flavors on the menu to choose from if you ever want to try something new and it's fun trying your favorite boba tea drinks with the popping boba or coffee jelly. The slushes are made well having a good flavour and not ever being overly icy like in other places. The customer service is very good with the owner being extremely friendly, and the drinks being out in less than two minutes ready to drink. If you're ever in the area and want to fill your boba fix, this is the best place to go not only in Eastlake, but probably in San Diego.

The staff are so polite and the new owner Mr. Rick is so friendly and helpful! Great drinks and so many options. The girl working even made a drink recommendations for next time! With great prices and friendly, fast service, This will be our boba spot for sure! My girls loved it!

I always order the green tea so I can only speak for that quality and preference because I think Tap Ex tea lacks strength and flavor but that is just my opinion. The owner Rick is a great God fearing family man and that is a plus for me also.

Lollicup also serves Slushies, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Snow, Dairy & Non-Dairy just ask the staff are always friendly and know their drink 😎👍. Been here for 10+ years and Lollicup does not disappoint/hits the brain-freezing/warm-soothing spot Everytime.

Tea Zone is the place to go for boba tea in Chula Vista. Tons of great flavors, the widest selection of drinks by a mile, good vibes, and dope staff. Super cute and friendly cashier is definitely a plus. Pool table for some fun with friends. Snacks too for after school. I recommend the white cappuccino milk tea, match milk tea, watermelon slush, and the honeydew milk tea. I plan on trying everything on the menu eventually. I don't recommend rose milk tea and strawberry milk tea as it's way too sweet. Only con is the boba is now hard and difficult to get through the straw half the time. A change in ownership (thanks Hung for a great 20 years) has things a bit slow but give it time.

Great teas and coffees. The service was polite and informative. They even let us taste something before we bought. Only down side was that it's is more of a hang out for teenagers and not so much for sitting and enjoying the amazing drinks. They do have a pool table and soft seating.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I gotta say I'm now sad I have to find a new spot. The new owners are messing with the original recipes so the consistency of the drink i once love and grabbed weekly is no longer an option for me. The quality of the drink is not there anymore. Now let's talk customer service, it seems that new owners son has a bit of a chip on his shoulder and doesn't quit know how to handle situations that may arise. After and unfortunate incident of a dropped drink I asked my drink to be replaced only to be treated as if I wanted to get things for free. He quickly need a "break" and his in the back to avoid me. I asked at least that my cup be replaced to hope to enjoy what I could salvage from my drink , to once again be treated as if I was a burden. Half the drink was on the floor ! To my disappointment even that was asking to much from them. Although they did re cup my drink , it was done so in a degrading manner. Iv dropped drinks at Starbucks and then workers there heal the situation without leaving me feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable. Would it really break the bank to replace 1 drink. Would it really cost too much to make 1 humiliated guest happy. As if I wasn't already feeling embarrassed that the drink dropped, let's add insult to injury and make me feel uncomfortable and unwanted. I couldn't wait to get out of there and am definitely not comfortable going back. What once was an sweet spot for my boba , is now a bitter unpleasant place that makes you feel unwelcome. Good luck new owners! Beware loyals that have been around awhile and have been accustom to what once was a safe un judgemental let your guards down place!

Update: With the change in ownership, the quality has gone severely down. The boba is too hard and the consistency is not right. The prices have also gone way up. They also messed up my order and were very slow. It is a shame to see my favorite boba place in such a state.

They need to have accurate hours. They are NEVER open when they say they are. I’ve driven down only to come up to a closed store from more times than I’ve been able to actually get a drink lately. Close down or be open but this is ridiculous.
