Came with hubs and grandparents, had the wings/calamari appetizers! Both were good - the calamari was light and crispy! The sushi was great, very fresh! We also tried a roll that had meat! The drinks were good as well! Had the fried oreos for dessert 😋. Atmosphere was easy to talk in but have a great time. (Grandparents are not a fan of me taking pictures at meals so these are the only ones I snuck haha)

I had a great experience at Nori Sushi overall. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere really enjoyable. The sushi was the clear standout. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put effort into quality and it really pays off. We also ordered ramen, and while it wasn’t terrible, it didn’t quite hit the mark. The broth lacked depth and it just didn’t have the richness we were hoping for. Stick with the sushi if you’re deciding between the two. One thing to keep in mind is the parking situation. There are only a couple of spots on the street, and most of the nearby spaces are reserved for apartment residents. The best option is to park by the nearby park and walk a few minutes. It’s not too bad and worth it for the food. Also, just a heads up. According to the menu, Wednesdays are supposed to be half-off wine bottle. We were there on a Wednesday, but the discount didn’t show up on the bill. It was my fault for not double checking before paying, but something to be aware of in case you go for the wine deal. Overall, great sushi, super friendly service, and a chill vibe. I would definitely come back, just with better parking plans and eyes on the check

This place is dope!! After a phenomenal dinner experience, it’s earned our favorite sushi spot in Chula Vista. Happy hour Monday through Wednesday is all day. Lucky us, we had dinner on a Wednesday night here. Immediately loved the vibes. Drinks were great. I loved the mango martini with chili. Our food was just as good. Lemon cilantro roll was the perfect amount of fresh fish, lemon and yummy goodness. The crunchy roll wasn’t bad either! I loved how fresh the shrimp tempura is. We also loved the seared tuna nigiri on the HH menu. It was super spicy and had a smoky kick. We loved it! We were most surprised at the top tier service. All the employees were kind. Everyone greeted us when we got there and when we left. Our food came out soooo fast! I couldn’t believe it. All of our rolls were ready within 5 minutes of ordering it. Insane! Shout out to our server Nika. She recommended the spicy ponzu sauce and I loved it so much. The restaurant is almost like a club. If it’s your birthday, there’s a mini show with cow bells, a happy birthday sign, lights and all.

My friends and I came here for happy hour! I love their happy hour memo. All drinks and food are very tasty. They have so many different flavors of martinis. I ordered chili mango, raspberry lemon drop, pomegranate, etc….We had a great time. I’ll definitely come back soon.

My wife and I visited Casa Nori Sushi on a Saturday afternoon. We were looking for a new restaurant to visit and try something new. Casa Nori Sushi is relatively close to our house and was on our list of local restaurants to visit. We were promptly seated and placed our order of sushi, a teriyaki chicken bento tuna tacos and drinks. We can say that everything was delicious, service was great and the atmosphere pleasant listening to our favorite music. We will be back again.

I’ve come here plenty of times and even ordered take out on occasion. I’m always delighted with everything I order. The food and cocktails are delicious. Some of my favorites are the sliders, gyoza, California roll and shrimp tempura roll. They also have happy hour all day long Monday to Wednesday.

This restaurant offers an incredible mix of exceptional Japanese cuisine and a lively atmosphere. The sushi were incredibly fresh, and each dish was a perfect balance of flavor and presentation. Adding to the experience, the DJ set the mood with an amazing playlist that elevated the evening. Great food, great vibes—highly recommended!

Food was awesome. All the rolls we ordered came with 10 pieces. Everything was fresh and tasty. The rice wasn’t hard like premade. We also ordered a bento box. The rolls we ordered were: caterpillar, dynamite, mango habanero, lemon cilantro, chicken teriyaki rolls. Appetizers were the edamame, gyoza, and shishito. Again, all awesome. Will be back before we leave. Wanna try the lunch menu. Restaurant was clean and service was good. They also have a bar.

A nicely tucked away sushi spot on a corner of a nice neighborhood. The service was absolutely wonderful. All the sushi and miso soup was very delicious and most of all FRESH. Will be back soon.

Casanori Sushi is easily one of the best sushi spots in San Diego. The fish is incredibly fresh, the rice is perfect, the flavor is on point, and everything is clean and high quality without being overcomplicated. Big shoutout to Ivan and Donovan, both are professional, attentive, and make the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, solid vibe. Definitely coming back.

Beautiful sushi restaurant with tasty drinks! The happy hour is amazing!! Happy hour alone is worth the visit! I had a chamango margarita it was divine!! Best margaritas I've ever had! We tried the crunchy roll, tempura mix, chicken karaage and yakisoba noodles. The sushi roll was excellent with the tempura shrimp cooked to perfection! The tempura mix had the best crunchy vegetables with the sweet flavor of the carrots still noticeable. Yakisoba noodles had a strong Chard flavor that was most likely from the over cooked chicken. It was a bit disappointing with everything else being so incredibly delicious! So I'll give them a pass this time 😊. I had mentioned it was my birthday and was even given a free dessert! all in all a great place to eat and perfect place for happy hour!! Parking in that area is hit or miss depending on the time. I will be returning!

I came here on a Tuesday during their happy hour time and the service was good. I gave it 4 out 5 stars, ONLY because of the covid protocol. When I walked in at about approximately 5 pm they didnt have hand sanitizer anywhere by the door nor anywhere I could see but all the waiters and waitresses had their masks. But other than that the food was delicious, our waiter was also very attentive. The prices were a little bit higher than expected but overall worth it. The ambience was relaxed and chill and we sat there and talked. Though the place was nice...parking was a little hard to find. Great place for sushi and lots more definitely would recommend!

Nice little spot you can walk up to if you live near by. Nice cocktail mellow setting with hang-out/relaxed ambiance. The rolls are very tasteful along with other orders on the menu. I like to judge my sushi on the texture and flavor without the “fishiness ”. This place does not disappoint, fish taste amazing and dissolves effortlessly. 4 ⭐️ comes from service. Every time I come here, I feel like something negative just happened, because their waitresses are what seems to be in a bad mood, but still respectful.

They were quick with the appetizers but took a really long time to bring out the rolls, and with a party of just 5, they brought out the rolls at 3 different times with a few minutes apart each time. This was while only a few tables were occupied as well. They are a little overpriced for the food and service they have, so it was okay to experience it, but most likely wouldn’t come to it again as I think there are better options.

Ordered late, so I understand if the staff was in the best mood, but our food was lacking. Overly salty fried rice hastily thrown in a container, our fried roll was SUPER thick and not fully cooked through... And we had a roll missing it's filling; just a roll of rice and nori.
