Clear Sky Beachside Cafe

This location is a Cafe setting and very cozy. It's a quick walk from the beach hotels. FYI THEY DO have a kids menu, even though its not listed on the website. It has 6 high quality items perfect for littles. I am glad I decided to chance it. Dean was my waiter he was pleasant, knowledgable and quick service. I had my toddler with me so speed of service is essential! I started with the crispy tuna. It was crunchy and had a little heat. Exactly what I wanted. For my main I tried the new grouper reuben. This is fresh catch and blackened. It was a big filet with fresh ingredients. The sandwich is AMAZING. This is my new favorite sandwich in Clearwater. I will probably get this app and main combo every time. Management should update the online menu becaue no kids menu will cause people to miss out on this amazing food!

Went on a Sunday night and sat on the patio. Service was great. I had the Cajun pasta with chicken, and my boyfriend had the grouper entrée. He loved his sushi roll. I also had the French Kiss martini, which was delicious and nicely floral.

What a great place to visit while strolling the beach side. Thankfully we had a reservation!! Clear Sky was booming. The atmosphere was very classy and inviting. The food was tasty and delicious! The menu had everything from burgers to salad to sushi! I hope to be back soon!

We were recommended this place by our Lyft driver and it was our first stop. We are so happy we learned about this restaurant early in our vacation because we came back two more times! Breakfast + Dinner is absolutely fantastic! The service is great, the manager is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy. 10/10 you NEED to try this place at least once!

The hostess was very accommodating to seat us outside and they had heaters!!! Kudos to the chef because the food was amazing in all aspects. We ordered two gluten free pizza that was amazing. Didn’t taste pasty or cardboard like at all! Or soggy!! It was fresh and tasted like a brick oven pizza! The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection and the rice and asparagus. The birthday girl had multiple allergies and the restaurant took it really serious to flag it, it was cute and funny! Her dish was amazing. She had the scallop and shrimp dish with the catch of the day and “ Australian Sea bass” which was amazing!!! Leah was our server and she took great care of us!!! Very attentive! Original rice had butter in it and it was an allergy and we request sushi rice instead. Leah placed a candle and written out “happy birthday” in it, turkey went above and beyond!!! Definitely a must try if you’re in Clearwater!!!!

We walked to the cafe for brunch and were pleasantly greeted by staff who turned out to be our server Alexa. Her recommendations were spot on. We had the lobster Bennie, grits with Gouda & the Nova Scotia Bennie with potatoes. Next time we will definitely expand our palate but we love our Bennie’s! Portions were perfect, coffee good. Cafe very clean.

This was our first time at the Clearwater Beach Clear Sky. Each location is consistently top notch. We had a delicious breakfast and great service! The Coast Watch seafood omelette and Gouda grits were super tasty! After breakfast we took a short walk (1/2 a block) down to the beautiful white sand beach.

Absolutely loved this place! The portions are big/enough to have left overs. My family had the lobster ravioli (pictured), chicken quesadillas, and gluten free pizza. We all loved our food. Our waitress Kristina was very personable and knowledgeable about allergies. My celiac and dairy intolerant boyfriend was able to choose from a lot of meal options! Okay I’m updating this because I went back for breakfast the next morning. And let me tell you … GAS. Briana was our waitress this morning and was super nice and helpful. She was also knowledgeable about my boyfriend’s allergies! I got the avocado toast (pictured).

Decided to spend my birthday weekend in Clearwater and have breakfast at Clear Sky. The food is affordable, big portion, nice ambiance, good service. Thank you Melissa for making our breakfast more enjoyable. Will surely go back next time we visit Clearwater.

Delighted by brunch at this lovely restaurant. Service was expedient, attentive and very well done. Sophia took excellent care of us. Food was delicious and fresh. Drinks were delightful. We enjoyed the Al fresco option in the beautiful weather. So many wonderful choices on the menu that we have to go back for more.

I am glad to see that the restaurant has reopened (as of February 2025) after sustaining damage from Hurricane Milton in 2024. The food is truly exceptional. The service is outstanding, with special recognition to Robert, who provides remarkable attention to detail. The restaurant's proximity to the beach (walking distance) is an added bonus. I highly recommend scheduling dining here to coincide with the sunset.

Delicious! From the Old Fashioned to the Asian Dumplings, Pork Belly Ramen and Coconut cream with coffee! Delicious!

We had a fantastic experience at Clear Sky Cafe! Our waitress, Briana, was the happiest and most attentive server we’ve ever had...she truly made the meal enjoyable. The food was excellent (highly recommend the jambalaya and Ahi nachos), and the atmosphere was wonderful with the beach in the background and happy people strolling by. Couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience!

On our honeymoon my husband and I came here for breakfast and I am so glad we did! I have celiac so need to eat gluten free and have several food allergies and the server was kind and very precise in making sure that my allergies and needs were noted and taken care of. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the prices are great and the food is fresh! My husband got a breakfast sandwich and potatoes and loved it and I got fresh fruit and and asked for sliced avocado and banana as well and had some breakfast potatoes as well and it was delicious! It was very nice to have healthy and safe options and it’s right near the beach and we sat outside so the view was beautiful. Definitely recommend and if we’re ever back here we’ll definitely be back!

Clear Sky Cafe is truly top-tier when it comes to premium quality food. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection—fluffy and flavorful. The French toast hit the perfect balance: not too soft, not too firm. I also tried the Greek omelette, and it was bursting with rich flavors that blended beautifully in every bite. The best part? It’s located right in front of a private beach. After the meal, I took a stroll on the powdery-soft sand—it felt like walking on sponge. A perfect start to the day.

We liked this place so much that return twice! Best grouper EVER! The waitress didn’t believe me when I said I have a very bad allergy to the spicy food… after the crying she apologized!!! But everything else amazing!!!!

Consistent quality and service by the beach. We eat here several times while on vacation. The food is really good and reasonably priced for Clearwater. Really love the pepperoni flatbread, French toast, waffles and all the breakfast platters. We've eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have NEVER been disappointed 10/10!

Clear Sky Café in Clearwater is a must visit for breakfast! We tried the veggie omelet, the breakfast sliders, and the beignets, and everything was fantastic. The omelet was fresh and loaded with flavor amd veggies, the sliders were perfectly cooked with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and melty cheese, and the beignets were light, flaky, and topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar (a table favorite!). Great food, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere make this a perfect breakfast spot near the beach.

A very clean and lively restaurant with amazing breakfast. The mexican skillet and breakfast sliders were especially delicious.

We started the day with breakfast and it was very good. Later that night we were looking for something different for dinner and our hotel bartender recommended for us to go back. We did and it was awesome. Robert our server was great. He enjoyed his job, and it showed. We order the blacked mixed grill. It was out of this world. The chief split the plate for us, that’s what a plus and we order a side of wings. All food was very tasty. The bartender made awesome drinks. She was top notch. Give it a shot. We will be back. Nice job everybody!!

They really changed up the place the ambiance is very good and open. The food is on the pricer side but the portions are massive and the quality is really good. They had a super thick burger patty much larger than what is typical. The toppings were fresh and overall a very flavourful burger. Would recommend.

Had breakfast here and was not disappointed. It is a small space, so there was a bit of a wait. All of our meals came out quickly and hot. The service was outstanding and attentive. I would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast. I will return for dinner soon...hopefully I'll get the same experience again!

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant when I went with a family members. We ordered the mushroom soup, pizza, wings, burger, and the parmesan cauliflower steak with pasta — and every single dish was absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the quality truly exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The live music outside added a beautiful touch — not too loud, just enough to enhance the overall experience. One of the things I really appreciated is that the location is fully wheelchair accessible. There are no steps at the entrance, and the doorway is wide enough to accommodate any wheelchair comfortably. It made getting in and out smooth and stress-free, which is something I don’t take for granted. I was lucky to have Stephanie as my server, and she was outstanding. So sweet, attentive, and accommodating. She kindly moved a chair to make space for my wheelchair and made sure I had vegetarian options, even helping to adjust and cancel ingredients to meet my dietary needs. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness really stood out. Everything was also impressively clean — from the plates and silverware to the entire dining area. It’s clear they care about quality in every aspect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. It has definitely going to be one of my favorite go-to spots whenever I’m on vacation. Amazing food, top-tier service, great accessibility, and a peaceful, enjoyable vibe — what more could I ask for?

Me and my boyfriend went for our anniversary. We absolutely LOVED it! We normally go to the Drafthouse location but decided to try this one and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! We got the octopus calamari and thai flatbread for appetizers and the octopus was to die for! The flatbread was uniquely different and tasty and the calamari flavor was great just not as crispy as we would have liked. Sauces that came with it were good as well. I got the grouper dinner the risotto was creamy and delicious and my boyfriend got the grouper Reuben fried and he loved it(says a lot bc he's gone to frenchy's for over 20 years and the only meal he will get is there original super grouper) so I highly recommend clear sky cafe to everyone and we will definitely be back! The only part I would suggest is if they can turn the a/c down a bit to cool the inside down it would have been a nearly perfect experience.

This was my first time back since after the hurricanes and I could tell you it did not disappoint at all. The biggest thing about any of the clear sky locations is it's always consistent. The staff is always attentive and willing to go the extra mile not a place you regret tipping heavy. Oh and the view is spectacular!!!

Our server Ricky was fantastic!!! Great suggestion and very personable, total asset to this restaurant. The roasted beet and arugula salad was delicious. The soup of the day creamy tomato basil was delicious as was the creamy mushroom. Rudy had the short rib gnocchi which was topped with arugula very tasty and I had the grilled salmon instead of blackened and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Always a pleasure dining at such a beautiful place!!! Thank you Clearsky!!!

We’ve come here 3 times in the week we were here. Every time we did, the service was exceptional. John our waiter took care of us every time. He thoroughly knew the menu every time, was able to answer questions about the menu and area as we’re not local. I 100% would ask for John if you decide to come by, he’s on point with everything! Next trip down we will certainly be back. Edit: we got dinner, I got the Cajun pasta, a pizza, and the cheese steak on the first second and third visit. Everything was perfect.

Wonderful experience here! Wet didn't have a wait to sit outside. It was kid friendly, so many great breakfast options and everything was absolutely delicious from the chorizo skillet to the nutella waffles and chocolate milk. I would definitely eat here again. Our server was also amazing.

Absolutely FANTASTIC food here!! We are back for our second day As we're sure as much as we want to discover other things nothing will beat this! Our waiter, Nico, what's the most pleasant, accommodating and attentive young man I haven't had service like this in years.. clean eating good food Not gobbed over with sauces. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will do it! I had homemade corned beef hash and eggs with a side of hollandaise. Highly recommend!! Thank you Nico we will see you before our trip is over again!!😃

Impressive breakfast, good value and atmosphere Food - massive selection of breakfast items and all were good portions. Eggs perfectly cooked and pancakes light and fluffy. Mexican skillet had a nice spice to it - would recommend. Service - order was taken promptly and servers were friendly with the kids (Halloween colouring was given out). Coffees were refilled quickly and food arrived hot and with not much wait. Atmosphere - we went for breakfast at 730, was quiet to start with but soon filled up. Good mix of people and nice atmosphere. Would recommend for a meal to anyone visiting Clearwater.

Looking for a nice Breakfast/ Brunch and found this cute place. Everyone was happy with their food! Waffle looked great but my daughter gobbled it before I could get a Pic. Servers were so nice.

This place was highly recommended by people at the conference so we decided to check it out. When we arrived we were greeted and told they’d be a wait of 15-20 minutes which we were okay with. While we waited, we sat on a table that looked like a waiting bench but turned out to be an actual table. When the waiter saw us sitting there he asked if we wanted to stay there (outside) and we agreed to, so the wait was more like 7 minutes. Our waitress gave us a few recommendations and after some thought I decided to get the chicken piccata with a side of mash and asparagus and fries (yes!). The chicken was juicy and moist, the sauce complimented the chicken and the mash. It was delicious! The fries were also perfect and crispy. The only downside was that because we were outside, it was a little windy so our food got cold almost immediately. It was good regardless but I imagine that warm it must be way better. There an entrance to the beach from there too. I walked over when the sun was setting and another breathtaking sunset.

My wife and I were lucky enough to get a table outside on Valentines day evening. We were even more lucky to have Stephanie as our server ! She was so sweet, friendly and kind, on a very busy night. She took care of our needs with a smile. It was our first time here and because of her, we can't wait to return !

We went on a Sunday morning, earlier than our reservation for a group of 14; and it was packed, but they quickly turned around the tables and got us in without too much of a wait. The food was good. The service was good, it was just a little slow and needed reminders of things we had asked for. But it was busy and a lot going on. Overall it was a good breakfast place, and I'd go again as it was an extensive menu with lots of great options.

Don’t order ramen if you know how it is supposed to taste like. The ramen soup was nice, boiled egg was decent, but the noodle itself is soft and soggy. At first I thought it was overcooked, then they were very helpful to replace it with a new bowl with less cooking time. It was slightly better but then I can tell it was because of the noodle itself. They may need to try another noodle type! The shrimps and scallops tasted fine but just too few, about 3 shrimps and 3 small scallops.
