The food and the service are always amazing. If you love Indian food you won’t be disappointed as this is some of the best I’ve had.

Got take-out chana masala, and it was fantastic! I looked at their Uber Eats selection to see what was vegan, but they also allow you to specify when ordering take-out if you want it vegan!

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Our meal was so satisfying. I will definitely be back soon.

We ordered to go for the first time. We have never eaten there before. So I cannot comment on the atmosphere. But the food was great and fast. My family and I will definitely order from them again!

Absolutely delicious Indian food , authentic and at the same time they are super flexible to customize the food basis the preferences of the customers.. we tried shahi paneer, lamb curry and butter chicken along with a combo on Naan’s, the food was exceptional. Butter chicken is by far the best we have had - on point gravy, perfectly cooked and high quality chicken with a sublime tandoor flavour. Lamb curry (we ordered ours extra spicy) is the best we have had so far - don’t miss it. Paneer was fresh and gravy just out of this world. The Naans are crisp, flaky and fresh off the tandoor - again just brilliant. What stood out was the service and the ambience - super helpful staff and clean environment. If you want Indian food , nothing gets better than this!!

It was a great find to take your friends for a value meal. My friends were new to the cuisine. The server went an extra mile to describe the dishes. We took their Thali. Surprisingly as all the entree were awesome including Naan. Mango pudding was good for someone new to the cuisine. I would love to have rice pudding/halva/gulab jamun

My server was very friendly, explanatory, and attentive.The amount of food you get for the money will have you eating it again for lunch. I saw some review where someone has said the portions were small. I did NOT find that to be the case. I had the butter chicken, curry chicken, chickpea combo which was plentiful and bursting with flavor! I will be back when I’m in town most definitely.

Dinner was absolutely delicious! Started with the Samosas, then ordered the Aloo Gobi, Chicken Afghani and ordered the bread basket. Originally wanted the plain, buttered and garlic naan, however the owner suggested the Peshwari Naan, and am so glad he did! The Peshwari Naan had cherries, coconut and cashews inside and was incredible! I can't wait to go back and order it again.

We went on Valentine’s Day and had chicken afghani curry, chicken tika masala, Mahi Mahi vindaloo, with a side of garlic naan. Absolutely everything was delicious! The food was evenly spiced with so many layers of flavor, and the spice level was perfectly described. The service was top notch. We could easily see how much care and pride the staff puts into their food and their service. This is a must try!

This is our 2nd time here and we loved the food. The chicken chettinadu was awesome, I had asked for Indian hot and they nailed it. My girlfriend loved the veg thali and enjoyed every dish in thali like never before. This is a true hidden gem in Tampa.

I have tried dozens and dozens of Indian restaurants throughout my life in LA, New York, San Diego and other cities. This place is my hands down favorite of any Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The taste of the food is A+. Especially my favorite go-to dishes, saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. I used to live 2 hours north and would take away from here when I was in town. Now I live nearby and eat here and order delivery from here often. I’ve ordered a few others around when they were closed, and nothing else compares. Not even close in my opinion. This is an honest review, and I’m not affiliated with them in any way. I just love my Indian food.

I love this place. They have been taking extra care with the food lately. Like every Indian Restaurant in Tampa Bay it was always better certain days or when certain Chefs are working. I have only had great meals here lately and they get my spice requests right every time. Sometimes you just have to explain a bit so they know what spice level you are going for. You know, I want to sweat but don't want my butt on fire the next day. They know that one.

Simply put — it was outstanding! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Guests kept going back for seconds (and thirds), and several people asked me where the food came from. The menu truly captured the authentic taste of India while still feeling homely and comforting — exactly what you hope for when hosting such a special occasion. A big thank you to Vinod Rishi, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He is hands-down one of the best in the business — not only for the quality of food but also for his warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or planning catering for an important event, I can’t recommend Desi Tadka enough. Oldsmar is lucky to have this amazing restaurant.

The service was very good, the staff was very attentive. Vegetarian lunch special is $17 wit tax, but the food was rather bland for my taste. Also, I would have liked to know what was included in the lunch platter before receiving. It just said vegetarian paneer, and when asked I was told butter paneer, but it came with lentils and another vegetable mix. Price point is a bit too high for me to eat there frequently.

An average Indian restaurant- with an OVERPRICED menu. food: 3/5 staff: 4/5 A simple find in Oldsmar, this restaurant has decent Indian food with very small servings relative to their listed pricing. Most of my party said the food was decent, where 1-2 didn’t agree with the food. The staff was nice but seemed unexperienced, where I may have had a newer waiter. The owners are nice but could definitely look more into their prices or their serving sizes. Will not be visiting again.

Comfortable small restaurant run by a great family. The Peshwari Naan was different with it's sweet filling. The naan also had a nice texture. The Chili Chicken and Lamb Korma were both okay with a nice heat level, but seemed to lack the bold spice and flavor I was craving.

We were the party of 5 people and ordered below things 1. Chilli chicken 2. Aloo gobhi Mattar 3. Dal tadka 4. Gobhi manchurian 5. Tandoori roti 6. Onion kulcha 7. Cucumber Raita the restaurant was quite spacious and not that crowded on a Sunday evening. We were greeted well and asked to pick a table so that was nice.. The chef was very considerate about our request for low salt and mild spices. The tandoori roti were nice hot and really crispy, aloo gobhi Mattar need a solid improvement since the peas were not cooked well and lacked that indian taste that we all look forward for.. Dal tadka and onion kulcha were good and so was cucumber Raita. The Chilli chicken and gobhi manchurian has same curry base but were ok ok to an Indian taste bud. Nice quite ambience for a quite family evening.

Mild means mild. Way too many hit or misses where my requested “Mild” ends up being medium or even hot. I can’t handle anything higher than mild. When they do get it correct, the food is great but I’m wasting money when the sauce ends up being higher than mild and causing me to trash it. Too expensive to deal with these mistakes.

I have eaten here for many years. I do not know how, unless the food has been prepared before hand and then reheated, that a meal consisting of two different curries and Naan can be served in 6 minutes. The standard is definitely falling. I will be trying somewhere else where the food is freshly cooked. Indian food is not fast food!

I won’t speak to service and atmosphere as mine was a to go order. I have ordered there twice now, just to give it another go better I share my opinion. Goat Biryani was very oily, the spices did not cook all the way thru, the rice mushy - 7 half inches meat pieces, half of them were hard cartilage with scruff meat. Daal Makhni tasted like the left over curry masala mixed with daal. I would recommend the daal takda, if you are really feeling for daal. The mixed BBQ platter with its mediocre flavor did not impress me. We spent around $80 but did not feel it was worth. That’s my opinion and my flavors and taste buds are unique to me. Give it a try, see if it makes you cry.

This restaurant misleading online customers using different names for same restaurant I.e. Nawabi Biryani in Uber eats but if you look for Nawabi Biryani in google maps, you will not find the restaurant. This is purely North Indian style and everything’s Sweet (goat biryani, chicken afgani etc)
