I was pleasantly surprised today when I decided to do a "Breakfast 4 Dinner" date night. This restaurant is super clean, and very friendly! The staff catered to my wife and my meal with kindness and superior cooking. I WILL be returning!!!

A lot of places nearby have been going downhill with service and with food/taste, But I Hop still holds there own. There food is always good always hot when it comes out great staff great prices. Great menu too. It's nice to look at a menu and try to decide what you want to eat cause there's lots of choices, instead of looking at a menu at other places trying to decide what you have to order just cause your hungry.

The staff are extremely kind, courteous and very friendly. I was impressed by their warm reception upon entering the restaurant and even though I had ordered food for pick up, they still were extremely professional and caring. The food was fresh and delicious as well.

It is a great place to eat the waitress was very nice. I have got to say my favorite part of the meal was the pancakes they were phenomenal! I know anybody can make pancakes but I have been to places where they are not that great and taste kinda like cardboard. However the hashbrowns do have something left to be desired they were unfortunately very greasy but edible and the sausage was kinda spicy but again edible. Next time, whenever I get to go again, it is all pancakes yum.

It's been a long time since I've been to an IHOP but after seeing ads on TV for their $6 breakfast My friend and I ventured out. Although in my area it was $7 breakfast it was still a bargain. The food as good as I remembered from days past and the waitress we had was super and pleasant. Will venture back again soon. Nice to know some old favorites still live up to the memory.

Can I start by saying that a number of years back, bad service and worse management at IHOP left a very bad taste in my mouth. When I decided to try the Clifton Park IHOP again recently, I went with minimal hopes for a good experience. Man, was I ever wrong! Even though it was a bit later in the evening, the staff, especially our wait staff, went above and beyond to make my wife and I felt welcomed and valued as customers. The food (I got a Colorado omelet, and my wife had the French Toast breakfast) was served quickly, was plentiful to the point where I couldn't finish my meal, and was utterly DELICIOUS! Our waitress was just the right amount of attentive without hovering over us, which I greatly appreciated! The price for our meal was just under $40 dollars, but did include a couple of bigger ticket items.... Would I recommend the Clifton Park IHOP to friends? Without hesitation! Thank you to the team on duty that night and especially to our server, who (while her name escapes me) was an absolute delight! Kudos all around, and give them a chance at redemption. You won't regret it!

It's been years since I dined at an IHOP. I went for Christmas breakfast with a friend. The place was clean and the food was just as I expected - good and above average. I could tell that the Company takes portion control very seriously. The one outstanding feature was the service. The lady server did an excellent job, not a common attribute at other places today. This Clifton Park location deserves your visit the next time you're in the area.

I love IHOP. Had their blueberry pancakes and they were delicious. This is my favourite breakfast place whenever I'm in the states.

Went to iHop with a large party and was treated fantastically. We were seated rapidly considering it was a party of 21. All orders were executed correctly with top notch customer service. No ordered were wrong and we were checked on constantly. The place was clean and so was the restroom. Would recommend.

I had a chicken salad with mushroom, onions and tomatoes with balsamic vinegar dressing. Tasted great. For drinks I had English breakfast tea with milk. Service and atmosphere were excellent. It's a shame we don't have this brand in the UK.

I was seated immediately upon enrty. The waitress was very nice and consistant. The food came out in a reasonable time and was cooked properly. There were no hiccups or any reason to ask for anything extra. I left very pleased.

A Memorial day breakfast. Stopped in on a day off from work to try out the monthly pancakes before they changed, as I had read about them since the start of the month. Rather slow business considering it was a holiday, but the service was fast and friendly. Which made for a nice time. Ordered the combo deal on the monthly pancakes, which were the raspberry white chocolate, and a decaf coffee. Combo also comes with eggs, hash brows, and bacon or sausage. All together coming to a little over $19, not too shabby, but did the price match the flavor? Well the eggs were cooked perfectly, scrambled with no need for any salt (just a crack of pepper). The bacon was a tad too chewy to my liking, I much prefer crunchy crispy bacon, but it too have some delicious savory flavor. The hash browns were the most disappointing however, as they were not very warm and a little stale. Clearly they made a huge batch of hash browns, and they were just cutting out squares of the stuff per order. Sad. And the coffee was fresh, but I can't really say much more than that, as it is decaf. The pancakes though, were stupendous. No need for any syrup, as the white chocolate and raspberry toppings did all the work, and even the bottom layer pancake didn't need any help as you may typically find. They were sweet, but not overly so, as the raspberry cut into the white chocolate with a tart bite. Well worth the price I'd say. Lastly I do want to thank Shannon for her excellent work, checking in on me several times, bringing me the bill but not before asking if I wanted anything else, and clearing away the empty dishes. Grade A waitress.

This was the best IHOP we have ever been too! Our server Patti was fantastic! She was the only server to start with and did not miss a beat. The manager we saw helped with seating, cooking, bring out food. We were very impressed. Our food came out perfect. Large portions. Tasted great. I was just beyond impressed with how this place functioned with little staff at opening time. More staff showed as we were there but they do function well. We were also impressed with how clean the place was inside and out. If we are back in the area, we would definitely stop here again! They deserve more than 5 stars!

I love eating here. I’ve never had a bad experience at this iHop and the food is always great. The best is the coffee. The portions are generous, the quality is good, and there’s tons of options. The pricing is exceptional - less than 15 dollars for unlimited pancakes, some hash browns, bacon and two eggs - and definitely worth it. The waiters are always so polite. One of the last times I went they even gave me my own little coffee carafe at my table so I could refill my own cup!

I was staying at a local hotel traveling home with my family and we stopped in here for breakfast because the hotel's breakfast not for me. I ordered the creme bule pancakes I also had 2 eggs over medium I have to say the whites were cooked perfectly my husband enjoyed strawberry and banana crepes the baby had the silver 5. I eldest child had some fun fetti pancakes they were actually called the cupcake pancakes which actually they were filled with icing and was totally sugary but my daughter enjoys those type of things I have to say everything here was absolutely delicious. Best part was when my server was more than willing to wash out the baby's sippy cup to put her Apple juice in it for me. Thank you very much for such a lovely time.

It's been awhile since I have been to an ihop. I took my 3 kids the day before Easter for brunch more of late lunch though. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The food was all really good and plenty enough for us. We had omelette, pancakes, french toast, chicken and milkshake. All good. Cost was the same or more as a full dinner out though. The restaurant was clean. I can recommend this as an overall good enjoyable spot for breakfast/ lunch and for families.

Much, much better than the one in Albany on Wolf road. The food is good, and even at busy times I have never waited for more than five minutes for a table. One seated your order will be taken quickly, but there will be a delay between then and when your food arrives.

The restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly. Our speedy, pleasant manager-waitress was nice to have waiting on my wife and I. The pancakes, were as good as usual. My wife's spinach omelet was excellent and was good for two meals. I especially liked the sausages. The eggs were just like I like them. An enjoyable dinner.

Food was good, as expected. Victoria was awesome! She was friendly and professional but not intrusive. There is a large parking lot with free parking and the building is handicapped accessible. However, the handicapped toilet area had no grab bars and the door would not lock. The bathroom wasn't disgusting but had a sewer and musty smell and could've been cleaner. Maintenance needed to be done. It had chipped tile and gross looking caulk around the toilets.

Love they have a million options for protein with breakfast! It helped reach my protein goal for the day while I let the kids enjoy all the random flavors. Waffles come out nice and crispy on the outside.

The Lemon Ricotta Blueberry protein pancakes were absolutely amazing. Ate them without syrup they were that delicious. The omelette not so much… the cheese was too bulky, and onions weren’t cooked all the way in my opinion. Server was super nice.

Waitress started out good...food was served timely and was ok. We were seated, then a group of younger adults were seated next to us. Their conversation was loud and inconsiderate with alot of f-bombs. No consideration for other diners at all. We asked for a glass of water each-which we never received. We finished our meal and waited way longer then was necessary for our check and a to-go box, so i went up to request it. This is the 2nd time I've had to do this at this restaurant. Even when your busy, try to pay attention to all of your patrons...it could have been an amazing tip.

It was very short-staffed but our waitress was warm and friendly. The bathroom was a mess however. Sticky floor, wet toilet seat... generally gross. But again it was cleaned when I brought it to their attention.

Visit was better than usual. We went once when the place was shut down with no signage on the door. Twice we have walked out after waiting (along with other who also walked) for more than 10 minutes to be seated after no host even appeared to tell us there would be a wait. Usually we wait quite a while with no apparent reason. SO...this time was better; not by much, but better. The food was decent and the waitress was friendly, although we only saw her to order and then again to get the check. We might be done with IHOP. We'll see.

There were only two people working that I could tell, one waitress and one cook. About 11 people in the restaurant. My eggs were undercooked, but everything else seemed to come out fine. The lights were off of the back part of the restaurant, so it was pitch black towards the bathroom. It was kind of scary. Also, a kid shouted, "Where's my food?" I was a little bit embarrassed, and I wasn't even sitting at that table. The grandma nipped that in the bud shortly after. The solo gentleman next to my table got his burger before my table, and we ordered before him. We were heading to a movie, and it took forever for us to all pay before we could leave (probably because the waitress was also back there cooking.) I guess I'm just surprised food service establishments are open with so few employees to work.

Told us we couldn't have the baby at the end of the booth table in a high chair due to state regulations.. not sure when this came about but where else would they like you to sit the high chair.. no big deal made.. figured it out. Was served our food and never saw the waitress again except for when we got our check. Needless to say everyone had the same drink we had when we got our food even asking for refills when getting our food. Should have read the reviews prior.

Wait, wait, wait! Waited to be seated, waited 20minutes or more for our food to come to then be told something "happened* to my order so had to wait a few more minutes. HOWEVER, the manager came over with my plate apologized and my order was on the house! All the food was actually really good, then waited at Least 5 mins directly at the counter to pay, employees everywhere but no one checking us out. Finally our waitress (who was very nice) checked us out. Overall food was good and complimentary meal highly appreciated so probably be back at some point.

Messed up my order and overpriced. The waitress had a pen and pad and still managed to get my order wrong. I ordered a pancake, and received a Belgian waffle. Then I got double the bacon, when I only asked for 1. When I told the waitress about my order, she nods her head as if I’m wrong. If I’m a customer, I’m placing an order, that means I know what I want. Overall, the place is clean, clear of clutter and staff are professional.

The staff were extremely friendly. The floors were terribly dirty. Some of the booths were dirty as well. The bathrooms were clean, however. The food is always delicious.

Coffee's great it's pretty cool having your own mini carafe. My omlet was a bit off and so was the hash browns. Kinda tasted like cafeteria food:/ My server Kayln S rocked the service. Pay at the table no need to bring your tab up to the cashier I appreciate not doing the Walk of Shame with my tab and standing in yet another line.

It’s like breakfast but not good

Went to IHOP around 11o’clock on a weekday. The hostess was very friendly and took us to our bench. We watched her wipe off the table put our things on the table and leave. As we sat down we noticed food on the benches, in the cracks of the benches and on the floor. This made it very hard to want to place an order and enjoy our meal while you’re sitting with nasty food all around you. Yes I did get up and asked to change seats. There were only two other tables taken in the restaurant. It took quite a while for our food to arrive. The food was tasty but the length of time it took and knowing that the place may not be as clean as it should be just didn’t and still doesn’t sit well. There’s no excuse for an unclean Restaurant let’s go clean it up or you’ll lose your business.

This was not good, overall. While the wait staff were friendly and seemed competent, I am not sure what else was going on. The place was nearly empty (probably with good reason). The ladies room was not functional- one stall was locked from the inside and the other had a toilet that was overflowing with paper products. The food was very overcooked. I am not sure how this IHOP stays open.

So I came on Monday night to enjoy a night with my family. We came when there were 2 other customer. We waited to be seated about 5 mins and no one out front to greet us. I was questioning if they were open and now I know why. When our order came out, my kids fish was raw and I had hair on my steak. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one because the meal for the raw fish was comped. I can't say I recommend this place as I will not be back. .

Hostess was very nice, waitress was extremely nice, food was definitely not that tasty. The hostess set us down the waitress took our order a little while later she delivered our food we just started eating and maybe 3 minutes into eating a nasty Party of Three set right next to us with the strongest smell of urine ever it was very nasty turned everybody's stomach so we asked for the check and we left. Very disappointed we couldn't even finish any of our food none of us got even halfway through our drinks.

I fondly recall the original IHOP, where the food was always satisfying. In contrast, my recent experience was underwhelming, and I struggled to finish my meal. The pancakes were a letdown, bearing a strong resemblance to store-bought, boxed mixes. The taste and presentation were equally unimpressive. Unless IHOP makes significant improvements, it risks joining the ranks of bankrupt eateries.

It’s an alright place but we had an incident where my boyfriend was not satisfied with his meal and they refused to take it off the bill and pretty much said suck it up. I think that’s terrible. If you don’t like something you shouldn’t have to eat it. The waitress was very nice but management was terrible and pretty much was calling me a liar and making up every excuse. She knew it was undercooked but insisted on thinking she was right. Just be careful what you order here

My son and I were looking forward to a nice IHOP pancake breakfast. There was only 1 waitress serving the entire restaurant. ONE!!! She kept apologizing to everyone and she was great. Fortunately, we had come in at a good time and we're served quickly enough. All the other tables waited at least 20 minutes to half an hour to place an order. We might have gotten our food but couldn't eat it. The tasteless pancakes came apart, the bisquits were rock hard, the eggs were ice cold. She put a replacement order in for us, but besides losing our appetite, the food was not much better. This was 5:30 pm and there was no manager on duty to help the 1 waitress on a Saturday night! What kind of restaurant has the type of service? I doubt we'll be back here :-(

Waitress was nice but the order was all messed up after a huge wait… asked for no peppers no onions and received a lot of peppers and onions ( too many to pick out) as well as a side of eggshells in the omelette 😩 They ruined the couple’s order who sat across from us, also seated well after us and definitely served before us. The waitress apologized and blamed the kitchen for it being a day…. Terrible place to have birthday breakfast with the fam, they offered to remove the meal from my bill but not good enough.. can I get my morning back instead???

The food was terrible my friend and I got sick from it

I waited over ten minutes just to be seated in the restaurant because the waitress was nowhere to be found, there were only 2 tables with people at them so we could have been seated right away. Waitress sat us then failed to even give us menus. It was probably half an hour or more before we even got drinks and our food took forever even though the restaurant was dead as I meantioned, which would have been okay if the food was good. Unfortunately my eggs were undercooked and my “mousse” on my pancakes was just goop. I’d never been let down at a breakfast place before last night. Very disappointed.

I ordered my food to go. It took a long time for the food to be ready. It takes about 15 minutes for the particular order I usually get. Today it took almost an hour for me to get my food. However, when I finally got it, everything was really cold. I’m wondering it was sitting in the back and they forgot about it. Not coming to this restaurant again.

Place was almost empty. With maybe 3-4 tables and 2 waitress. It took almost 20-25 min to get our hot cocoa and almost an hour and a half to get our pancakes that came out wrong! Was absolutely disappointed! Not to mention it was so cold we couldn't take our coats off!

This was the worst IHOP I have ever eaten in. I asked for more butter for pancakes and toast by time he brought them to table they were cold and couldn’t spread it. Sausage and ham was cold. Bacon was good so there’s the one star. Wife’s food was cold as well. Had it been busier I would allow for the lackadaisical service but to no avail. All in all a very bad experience that will make me never go back to this location.

I would like to start out by saying that our server was very pleasant but that was about it... We waited forever for our food to come out when there weren't even a lot of people. Our toast came out cold and without butter on it. The small side serving of mashed potatoes with cheese was overpriced and so disgusting none of us could eat them. The "vanilla cream" on the double vanilla pancakes was repulsive. We were expecting a whipped cream, not baby vomit. And the ice cream on top was such low quality. The one good thing about this meal was the gingerbread hot chocolate, and it was overpriced too. Honestly don't want to come back here again. A waste of time and money.

It was terrible! They were not very busy, we arrived at 10:15am Sunday morning. There were only 3 in our party. It took over 30 minutes to get our order, nothing too difficult, only pancakes. We never received our full drink order, workers appeared to be very disorganized. Ppl seated well after us, placed and received their order, in fact one family of 4 arriving after us, placed, received and ate their order just as we received ours! Huge disappointment!!!

The floors needed sweeping, the windows and walls needed cleaning. The servers kept making the customers walk through the filth, but they made no effort to clean it up. Let me guess, "that's not my job!" But, the servers and manager had plenty of time to stand around gossiping while ignoring me at the register to pay. Some of them looked directly at me and kept talking. Nice.

My experience with that specific restaurant was horrible. I am not sure if they care about the quality or if they know what the hell are doing, with 2 orders of vegetable omelets They made it with 80 percent with mushrooms, the worst about it it was soaked in oil. I didn't want to complain about it at the restaurant, I had my kid with me. Your service is awful. Never again

Sat in the lobby for 15 minutes. When I was about to leave, I finally got noticed. The dish I ended up ordering was $8 more expensive than Cracker Barrel's yet was completely inferior. It looked like it was made by a child.

Why do I have to assemble my pancakes myself using the components provided instead of you assembling my pancakes for me which is what I paid for? Why do I have to pay the same as the people that dine-in that actually have their pancakes assembled for them? I don't work for you why do I have to assemble my food? No one is buying pancakes and storing them long-term, there's no reason to separate the ingredients for "freshness". $12 for pancakes that cost you pennies and you can’t even put it together for the customer.

Father of two with a pregnant wife. Bring this up as I really was trying to do something nice for my family as otherwise it was rough morning. We arrived there and were seated well enough. No complaints there. The trouble starts with drinks. Juice and milk for my son and daughter. My wife and I chose hot cocoa. The hot cocoa came and had odd bubbles in it. I took a sip and it seemed fine. The wife didn't trust (I soon learned her instincts were on point.) I get towards the bottom of the glass and I finally see the issue. Clearish/blue soap is on the bottom of my glass. I felt bad so I got us both waters and didn't mention the mistake as the server was in a bad mood as is. Food comes and oh man. Wife's potatoes had cinnamon on them. I thought my wife was hallucinating so I tried myself and sure enough cinnamon. Wondered if maybe we missed the recipe description but we didn't as I grabbed a menu before leaving. All the food was cold as well. But the kids were happy enough so we pushed on. The true moment that made the visit was on exit. I went into the bathroom with my young daughter. (Too young to be left alone) And there were feces all over the toilet and water all over the floor. So I asked my wife to bring her into the girls bathroom. The wife explained that the bathroom was disgusting looking like a scene outta Carrie. So I gave up and went to local friendlies to cure bad tastes and bathroom problems. Soap made me feel general malaise and gave me NVD so ended up going to urgent care. Must've been a bad day, but it was like 915 in the am and no one was there at IHOP. Generally a bad experience. Try Jimmy Egg down the road. You will be happier.

I always love ihops but this particular one horrible food been there twice the food is always cold.

Placed an online order at 12:47 told it would be ready at 1:02. Used the link from text to notify of arrival at 1. Still nothing at 1:16 so I called to notify the restaurant. I don't think they look at their online notifications, but whatever. Now at 1:45 I am still in the parking lot waiting with only 3 other cars parked, only 1 of which had a party of 2 walk in in the 40 minutes I have been waiting. I called to cancel my order and refund and the manager offered to remake my order while giving a refund. THEY NEVER STARTED MAKING MY ORDER IN THE 40 MINUTES I WAITED. No I'm not about to wait god knows how much longer. They weren't even busy, could easily see a car in the pickup spot so there is no excuse. They should disable online ordering at this location as they are incapable. Do not order online at the Clifton Park location, it appears they only want dine in guests.

Attention Management and Police. I have one card that I never use, as I always use Apple Pay on my phone. In this restaurant they didn’t have pay station at the table. So I gave the waitress the card that I never use. Next day someone tried to buy something for $530.00 my bank contacted me and I turned the card off. Sale didn’t go thru. But definitely someone from this restaurant is stealing customers credit card info. Please keep in mind that your credit card is compromised if you used it there around x-mas of 2025

To my surprise the entrance of the place has the bathrooms and you enter to sewage smell. It was too late for me to leave but I will never go back. Then here come the waitress, I don't know she might have had a bad morning or pulling an all nighters, she was not at all nice. The food was decent. But I would rather eat a piece of bread and stay in a clean place.

A spider dropped out of the over head lamp on the plate of food as we were eating 🤯 the wait staff excused it by saying the building was old. Management did not comp our meal and gave us someone else’s leftover chicken by mistake when we were leaving. In a nutshell, eat somewhere else unless it’s Halloween and you want spiders in your food.

I was shocked to be handed visibly dirty utensils at this place stains still on the fork and knife. That’s basic hygiene and completely unacceptable, especially at a restaurant serving food. It immediately put me off the rest of the meal. We were given coffee cups that had stains of lipstick on it and the forks and knives were dirty. This is unacceptable and we weren’t even finished eating but was given the bill. DO NOT GO HERE!

This I hope in my opinion is run down, old. The bacon was horrible!!!! Thought it was just the first 2 slices I had so I ordered 4 more slices and it was just as horrible. I cook a lot and so what it appeared to me was old precooked bacon that they put back on the griddle with a bunch of grease and try to cook it again. It was the worst. But the waitress was very nice and professional.

Went here as a family, we had 7 of us and 1 child. My mom ordered the avocado toast with an egg over medium. Her tomatoes on her dish tasted like they had Italian dressing on them and her egg was way over cooked. My sister ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado. Both of her eggs were hard boiled. When the waitress eventually came over to check on us my mom was already talking about how disappointed she was in her meal and let the waitress know, she also told her about the eggs Benedict. She asked if there was a new cook in the back and the waitress said "no its the same one" and kinda laughed off my moms concerns. She said something about "getting an earful" and did nothing to correct or make the situation right. Definitely will not be back.
