Opinions de Jersey Mike's Subs Clifton Park
I love this sandwich shop! They always cut their meats and cheeses fresh. They are fast and friendly too. I'll never go back to Subway after tasting the difference.
We showed up 15min before closing and instead of being rushed out, they were crazy nice. The sandwiches were great (as usual) and conversation with the manager and staff was great. A+++
Love it here! Always clean and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Ner have to wait a long time!!! Great subs, hot or cold and their homemade mac salad is so yummy!!
The philly cheese steak is awsome. Busy place at noon. Go a little early or a little later. Check you bill when paying, I was double charged for my sandwich. They happily refunded when questioned.
Food is the very fresh & subs made to order prescively & with cleanliness paramount in handling . Priced well ! One point in consideration .I'm a Veteran & this location does not offer a discount .I have a valid ID but when asking about a discount manager says NO !
Happy to support a business that is giving back to the community during these challenging days. Delicious pastrami rueben! Half the value of your purchase goes to Feeding America this weekend! 🙂
Great Place Great food!
100/5! I have a dairy allergy and they are always amazing! Just ask and they will help you! Change gloves, clean slicer, etc. Food is great
Ive ordered delivery twice from Jersey mikes and they were both great.Loved the steak sandwiches and the Roastbeef.i would order from there again. It was all fresh. The only complaint I have is that they are a little pricey.
Jersey Mike's Subs puts all other sub places to shame! Enough fixings on 1 sub for the other sub shops to make atleast 6 of their foot long subs! Good job Jersey Mike's, and they offer a clean dinning area too, along with clean and polite employees! Win win!
Great atmosphere with nice employees. Sub's are definitely great and my dad and I go here a lot. If you never been check it out trust me its worth it.
Unlike their main competition (Sub---), they are consistently good. I have always been impressed that the last bite of a sub has as much meat as the center of the sub. They slice the cold meats freshly, and their hot beef subs are very lean meat. I can't speak to the other hot meats, but I'll bet they're just as good. If you're looking for a good sub, Jersey Mike's can't be beat.
So happy to stumble across Jersey Mike's. Being a born and raised NJ native, these subs are dead on and taste just like back home. You never had a sub until you had one from Jersey, that goes along with everything else, pizza, bagels, anything Italian, Jewish, ethnic for all that matters, etc. Don't listen to these other bad reviews on here. Being a long time NYC/NJ resident, I was spoiled. Just glad to see a true taste of back home finally in my new backyard. Will frequent often!!!!
Best franchise sub shop yet! And I don't usually go to the franchise. But I saw the commercials and had to try "the juice". Got the original Italian, very meaty. Make sure you get it "Mike's way" with the "juice"! Huge chocolate chip cookie for dessert. A little pricy, but worth it as they are not stingey with meat and fillings which they slice right in front of you NOT ahead of time. I will definitely go again. Jersey Mike's needs to come to the east side of the Hudson River!
Everyone was very friendly and so great
They knew i was coming for a nice philly steak and had everything set up for that; it was amazing. They enjoy the conversation as well while working.
Pricey but really delicious. Haven't been back to Subway in a while cause I'm hooked on Jersey Mike's! Staff is friendly and they pretty much know me and my fiance since we're regulars
Love Jersey Mike's. Always get the Big Cahuna, best sandwich ever
Me and my wife went hear today for dinner we got sub. And yes they were delicious. I would recommend over subway because of the larger service. Subway is a bread sandwhich. At Jersey Mikes we got a sub. Staff were friendly as well.
Best gluten free bread! And they have a separate line and glove change for GF so my wife who has Celiacs can enjoy subs with us, without worrying! Fast service is almost always a given with 4+ employees on at a time. The online ordering is great for the quick grab and go! Definitely worth the small cost difference over other sub places. Always great experiences here.
The main guy is so great and has beautiful eyes.
No matter what time of day I come, no matter the wait, I am always served a delicious sub. The workers are extremely nice and will help you as quick as they can.
Always delicious food! One of my favorite places to eat. I have been to 2 other locations and Always delicious food! There Philly cheese steak is the closest I've had closest to Philadelphia's famous Philly cheese steak! I recommend it!
My son picked Jersey Mike's for lunch today (2/19) , I hadn't been to this location since we are new to the area but the one near our old house didn't have the friendliest staff. We walked in and there were 3 young men working, I wouldn't be surprised if at least two of them were still in high school. My son likes to order himself, but it takes time and patience, so I immediately jumped to conclusions and assumed these young men were probably not going to be very patient with my son - I was so wrong! They were so patient and helpful in helping him get his order just right and they never made us feel rushed despite doing to-go orders at the same time. I just wanted to let them know thank you and they did a great job! The seating area was clean, it could have used a wipe down around the soda fountain, but it was busy lunch time and wasn't terrible. They are doing a great job.
Visited yesterday and the quality of the sub was severely lacking substance compared to their usual sandwiches. Maybe new people?
My dinner was fantastic! Me and my wife of 70 years came in the other day and had the sweetest young lady named Mackenzie assist us in our order! My wife said it was the best Big Kahuna Cheese Steak she’s ever had, and she knows a thing or two about Big Kahuna’s!
The workers are always very friendly and make sure my sub is perfect every time I go in!
employees were lovely, all of them were very kind and hardworking! i love this store with all of my heart and soul!
Always good food. Dining room was chilly that day.
Had a mishap with Doordarshan was supposed to get refund never did manager or gentleman that was on tonight was super helpful and very appreciative
I had the best sub. I ordered a roast beef club with Swiss and tomato light oil. It was perfect tasting for that moment. We will come back again
Thank you so much for recognizing veterans. I did not expect to get anything for Veterans Day nor was I looking for anything. I had my army shirt on and I was asked if I were a veteran and I was given a sandwich at no charge. I am so taken by this that a company would stand behind supporting veterans such as they did. I am a regular customer here and the staff is outstanding. I’m so proud of this company for doing that I’m not used to getting anything, but I did give a tip that was equal to what I was getting because they deserve that for recognizing me as a vet Jersey Mike’s thank you again for Being kind to veterans. It really meansa lot lot. And thank you staff Customer for life. I salute you as well. 🫡🫡💪🏼💪🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Expensive, but great hot and cold subs. Gluten free bread with appropriate allergy handling. Boars Head meat shaved fresh is great!
Good subs of various types. Clean and large eat in or outside dining area. The prices seem high for what you get but the subs were good size.
The subs are the best I have ever had, the only problem is they are also way overpriced. When you get a six or seven inch sub on a cost over $10 despite everything that's in it it is overpriced.
Great subs, great tastes! The prices are very high though. They just got gluten free bread! They have a rewards program, sign up for it. A lot of people don't realize or find out about the program until they've already gone a couple times and didnt earn points.
My first time here, as I've seen commercials on TV, yet we don't have one in our area. I had The Original Italian sub, and it was delicious & filling. All the meat and cheese was cut fresh as the sandwich was built. If I'm in the area again, or they build near home, I'll definitely be back.
It's a decent sub chain. We usually get Grilled Pastrami Reuben and Cheese Steak sandwiches. It's not a particularly good deal with large (14 inch) sandwiches at $14-15 as of Feb 2020. But Reuben and variations of Philly cheesesteak are delicious and worth a side trip when we are in the area. My wife is a huge fan of their Reuben.
For a fast food, takeout place, Jersey Mike’s is pretty good. The options are pretty typical, and everything tasted good. They even have Gluten Free sub rolls, which for me is a treat. The workers even knew to clean the meat slicers in between customers because of cross contamination. That’s always a good way to score extra points with me. I will definitely go back.
I rate this place as above average for take out subs. Definitely better than chains like Subway and even local favorite Mr. Subb. Everything is fresh and good quality. The only thing I'll call them out on is that the largest subs they offer are a bit pricey ($12 +) and don't have the same value. Stick to the medium which is a good size and the value is great.
Good subs. Fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly. Service was average expect to wait. If there's a line out the door expect to wait for 20 minutes for a sub. Subs are good, a tad expensive for a sub, worth it in my opinion. Extra to make it a meal. Extra for soda and chips. Price is similar to Panera.
The food's good here. The tomatoes were beautifully ripe. There was so much bacon on my BLT, I had to remove some. The prices are a bit steep, so I don't eat here often.
The wait was pretty long, and the staff were in a rush, but the food was always good. will come back again.
Whole Lotta Nothing Going On. It's been about 3 years since I got a meal from JM's, since the one opened in Amsterdam NY, and back then my findings were "overpriced, poor quality, and bad service". A solid 2/5. But I'm willing to try again, and I think 3 years has been a long enough wait. Sadly even the Clifton Park location failed in one respect, the readiness. I put my order in online, well before my pickup time, hours even, but I never have trouble with this kind of thing anywhere else. Went with a "Giant" Chicken Cheese Steak on the Rosemary Bread, coming to just under $20 before tip. Which if I could have taken it back, I would have, because, the service was not up to par. I arrive at my selected time and walk in expecting my sub to be sitting on the counter, no dice. Then perhaps they are still working on it? Nada. So I ask the employee at the counter about my order, and I'm hit with the deer in the headlights stare. He looks down at the receipts next to the online ordering register, finds mine, and asks his buddy cleaning the grill about it. Turns out they forgot about my order, despite having hours to be ready, despite being emptier than a banker's heart, they failed. 7 minutes later I had my sub, fresh as can be, which is pretty fast for someone who were to walk in and order their meal. But not for someone who put the order in online. Darn shame, they stumbled right at the start. That said, back home, the sub was pretty yummy. The bread was puffy and light, the fillings were savory and meaty, and the flavor was rich but not too much. The Rosemary topping was very messy though, falling off with every bite I took, but the included sub wrapper was able to catch all of that. Don't know if I'd say the "giant" moniker was really worth the $19, it was just slightly larger than a footlong, and I polished off the entire thing in under 15 minutes. So while JM's didn't win any awards for their attentiveness, at least the sub was good. Overall, 4 out of 5.
Subs are good but the dining area is always dirty which turns my stomach. Floors are dirty, tables not wiped down, and garbage overflowing. Unfortunately, I will not go to this location again.
Subs ok. A little expensive for what you get. Tables were not cleaned off.. besides another couple.. I was the only one in the dining area. Each table was loaded with crumbs oil.. etc.
Just Okay. Subs were good, but the sweet tea was out, the unsweetened tea was cloudy. The soda's carbonation was off and the Pepsi tasted terrible. All the tables were a mess and after a while one member of the crew came out to clean tables and add napkins to the dispensers, she banged every door she opened and several of the chairs and dispensers. Hoping it was an off day and not a bad future indication.
It a great sub . yes the help is a bit rough. This visit my roast beef sub for $18. And change all I can say is where the beef !!! ? Seriously if I am paying this much pack the meat on .it looks like subways shop is not consistent last time the beef was awsome and high
Foods Great. Service could be better. They lost my sub by puting it in someone elses bag. Then ran out of lettuce. Manager on duty was busy taking most of the work load. Cant babysit everyone. Kids behind the register clearly shouldn't have been working during peak time. 3 stars is generous. Im a patient person and i was annoyed.
Very disappointed in my online order. If I customize a sandwich, I expect it that way. Twice now I've gotten a cheesesteak. I hate any toppings. All I wanted was cheese and meat. What do I get? Peppers and onions. Very disappointed. Just going to have to forgo online ordering.
I hate giving bad reviews, so I'm giving a rate in the middle...I have been three times, the first I wasn't super impressed.. food was good but for the price of two "giant" subs, we could have went out to dinner. Giant btw, is a 12" sub....I wasn't sure what was "giant" about them.. the turkey was not that nice oven roasted turkey either... for $15, not impressed. Second time was the one in Latham and the staff was super rude. Tried again tonight, as they sent me a free sub for my birthday that I hadn't used. Staff was friendly, but the roast beef was well done and dry, and the sub seemed really skimpy.... the provolone was paper thin, I had to check to see if they forgot it! I think three tries were enough... there are plenty of delis around that make awesome subs.. unfortunate.
We’ve ordered from Jersey Mike’s many times in the past and have always found their subs to be pretty amazing. The bread is consistently fresh, and one of the things they pride themselves on—slicing the meat and cheese fresh for every sub—has always been a big selling point for us. When you’re paying $18.99 for a sub, it feels justified because historically they’ve been generously overstuffed, and you truly get what you pay for. Unfortunately, tonight’s order was a big disappointment. While the meat and cheese were freshly sliced and the bread was soft and fresh, exactly what you want in a good deli sandwich....the sub itself was overwhelmingly filled with lettuce. To me, lettuce is a filler. That’s the very reason we avoid places like Subway, where you often need a microscope to find the meat and cheese unless you pay extra. What you see advertised on TV at Subway is rarely what you get in real life, and that’s not the experience we expect from Jersey Mike’s. This time around, there was noticeably less meat and cheese than we’ve received in the past. I understand that rising costs are affecting everyone, and businesses have to make tough decisions. But cutting back on the quality or quantity, especially on a product that’s already close to $20 bucks, just doesn’t sit well. Padding a sub with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes may make it look “overstuffed,” but it’s not the same thing as a truly hearty sandwich. If I’m going to spend almost $20 on a sub, I don’t want to feel like I paid for bread and lettuce with a hint of meat. Jersey Mike’s has set a high standard for itself over the years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I really hope this was a one-off and not a new normal, because we’ve always chosen Jersey Mike’s specifically to avoid this kind of letdown.
No paper towels in the bathroom not sanitary for a public restroom. Sandwich maker put the lettuce on before the hot meat. The sandwich was still yummy but I felt it could have been better
Tonight my husband ordered a Philly cheesesteak for him & a TURKEY sub for me. I actually got a TUNA sub & the roll was dry & fell apart as I tried to eat it. This is not the first time I’ve had a roll like this from this JM. Not happy.
Went in on a Sunday around 12:30...There were only 3 people ahead of me and it till took 6-7 minutes to get my order in. Employees were friendly and accomadating but for some reason the process is slow as hell. A "Regular" is listed to be able to feed 2 people. Thats a bad joke. A regular at Jersey Mikes is a small anywhere else. The "Giant says it feeds 3-4 people! LOL! Get real. The sub was average at absolute best. Relatively bland taste, the amount of oil they bathe the sub in does not make it "moist", it makes it soggy as hell. The "spices" they use on the sub are *gasp* oregano, salt and pepper! How innovative! When I got in my car and felt how light the sub was, I laughed. I paid $10 for a small sub with average-at-best taste. For $10 I will go to Moes or Five Guys and get filled up. If I'm in the mood for a sub, I can pay $10 for a huge sub from any local sub shop. Only good part of the visit was the employees. Lets just say if you love this place, you must not go out to eat very much. Will not be back.
So I had to see what all the hype was about. Excited to hear they had gluten free bread. I have tried both a hot and cold sub and found them mediocre at best. Both were way over priced for the quality. No comparison to Which Wich....
I have to give this 2 stars. Disappointing. Ordered cheese steak and I usually put ketchup on it. Asked for some ketchup (always had it before) - No, we don't have any but you can go to Five Guys or West End Bagel for some. 😕 Really? Send me to another restaurant? Ok I will go there next time instead. My major source of disappointment was the lack of cleanliness. Looking at items you could really see how disgustingly dirty the place is. The meat & cheese case. The glass. The register. The iPad looking screen the customers use. 😝 Nasty. Like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The soda fountain was awful and the area around it was sticky. Don't think I will be back for a while... hopefully they will clean the place up by then.
A "regular" size sub is 6-7 inches and was 8$ which was way to expensive in my opinion for a sandwich. Add to that my sub was mediocre at best. I think I'll stick to Mr. Sub. I didn't believe other reviews until I ate the food. Glorified subway indeed. I don't think I'll be returning. Especially since the corner store near my apartment sells better quality meat subs for half the price.
I have now eaten at Jersey Mike’s 4 times from 4 different stores. I am gluten free and they advertise gluten free subs. The 1st 3 times my subs were awesome they were so accommodating and I didn’t have any residual effects from cross contamination. So I was excited to order from the Clifton Park, NY store which is near my house. We ordered online, Mine was the only gluten free sub we ordered. When we got them home none of the subs were marked. I had ordered BLT, and it had hardly any meat or vegetables or mayonnaise on it. It was pretty much a gluten free roll that was very dry. Now maybe I made a bad choice in getting the BLT, but my husband and sons subs looked great. I was so disappointed because we hardly ever eat out because it’s so hard to find good restaurants with gluten free options. But the worst part is I have been having residual effects from gluten, so they must not have taken the care the other store’s have. Very disappointed!!!
I came to the restaurant around 1:45 for a late lunch. The place was filthy. Every table in the dining room hadn’t been touched in hours. The floor had food all over the place. I was walking in Patagonia chip. The garbage cans were over flowing. There was no ice for the fountain drinks, drink area was untidy and mostly empty of covers. The biggest disappointment was my sandwich, I used to brag about Jersey Mike’s quality and quantity. I paid $12.00 for a half sub and soda. At best there was 2 slices of ham so they piled it with lettuce. If I wanted a veggie sub I would of ordered one. I will never go back to this location ever again. I have been at this local at least 5 times.
Our first time at this Jersey Mike's and it was by far our worst visit to any Jersey Mike's. The staff did not listen to our orders and we kept having to repeat our orders. The counter where they make the subs had not been cleaned in a very long time. When they cut our sub all of the insides came out and the girl proceeded to wrap the sub. The bathrooms were both extremely dirty. We will not be returning.
Last three times ordered online. Not ready and when I got her me they printed out 7 orders and said the machine shut down
We truly love Jersey Mike's in Clifton Park. The subs are always so fresh. Unfortunately this time I am giving 2 stars because I pre-ordered two party platters of subs on wed at 10:00. I pd for them and indicated that I would like to pick them up on that Sunday at 10:15. Taylor took my order & assured me that they would be ready. To my surprise when I went to pick them up they could not find my order at all. One gentleman was very rude & acted like he didn't want to even help me. Thank goodness I kept my receipt. I showed it to the gentleman who was extremely nice. He said it was goin to be a few mins. It took 45 mins to get my order. What is the purpose of ordering ahead of time. The other gentleman was extremely rude the entire time I was there even to his coworker. The total of my bill was 168.00. I would like a manager to call me back about this. I really want to continue supporting Jersey Mike's but don't feel that a worker should be rude to myself or his coworker. Plus if u order ahead of time ur order should be ready.
I really love there product and believe in the freshness of their meats. However, the staff at this restaurant were totally apathetic. The dining room was closed and there was nothing before you ordered that would let you know. The floor had receipts all over it. The sad part is this is the second time I’ve had below par service. I felt like they started off very conscientiously in upstate NY but am afraid there cutting corners and squeezing profits instead of working hard at being a better sub franchise.
This place can’t get an order right!!! Why bother asking if we want to customize when no one reads the order!!! I include a tip every time I order but honestly, I don’t think people understand what that means!!! 4 guys taking care of one girl!!! My order was supposed to be ready for pick up 7:19, they hadn’t even started at 7:25!!! Plus, the attitude was awful!!! There needs to be some supervision here!!
Every time I say put mayo on my sub, there’s no mayo. This is all through the mobile app, so every time I even ask for a to go container for them to FILL WITH MAYO since they add none on the sub. They gave me probably a tablespoon of mayo in the container and called it a day. If someone wants mayo, just give them the mayo it’s not rocket science. I also asked for two to go containers since I had a feeling and never came to this location before… I only received the one.
I don’t know if it’s a Jersey Mikes thing but they close at 9:00 and at 8:10 they don’t have particular items available like bacon and this is not the 1st time… they should say they stop taking orders at 8:00 to close on time.
This Jersey Mike's had stale bread, fruit fly or something went in my soda as I was filling it and the dining area was disgusting. Chunks of food in the seats on the tables, dirty floor, dirty napkins all over. I wouldn't recommend. 🤷🤦
Sad face...what happened to Jersey Mike's in Clifton Park. Not the same sub that I got last summer. Hardly any meat on the giant, used to be worth the $$. I like the bread, but not that much. Lost this customer.
Ordered over the phone 1st time last night regular was same size as mini didn't put toppings on I ordered missing stuff..For the prices would of thought it would be correct! 1st & last time
Horrible location for online orders. Staff just neglect or do not care about online orders because they are too busy with walkins. Very inefficient. Online orders are never prepared until you actually get there to pick it up. Very long wait times. Unprofessional and dirty looking staff. Store not very sanitary. Breads are laid on dirty counters and nasty prep area. They are either short staffed or need a more efficient system.
What happened to Jersey Mike's. We use to love the subs. Thought maybe it was just the management in Clifton park. Then we went to the one in Albany. For what you pay for these subs you expect them to be packed with meat. That was one of the reasons we would go there. The subs were as they would say a "sub above". Now they're a "sub below". Staff is not friendly either. Not receptive to customer feedback! Come on management don't drive your shop out of business. Live up to your motto or your customers will go elsewhere. We have been. Wishing you the best. Let us know when you make subs as you advertise.
The food was good, however, I have to say I am very disappointed of the lack of cleanliness of the dining area. My husband and I were the only two customers and could not find a clean table. The drink station and the floors were dirty and the napkin dispensers were empty. There were four employees working with one of them standing around his hands in his pockets. The TVs were off and while I was there I heard four different songs that were unintelligible.
We ordered two subs and a wrap for pickup today and were completely disgusted by the amount of mayo on the wrap. Seriously, no one needs this much mayo. (and this is coming from a girl from the south. Lol) My husband threw it away. It wasn't even salvageable. He tried scraping it off, but it was still a nasty mess. :-( See pictures under the Photo section...
Very poor customer service. I would give this particular location one star if i could. A lot of horse playing when i walked in the establishment to pick up my online order; order was also WRONG. They even made my sandwich on the wrong type of bread. I love jersey mikes but this may be the worst location i have ever been to. I will most certainty NEVER go back to this location. I would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to the Saratoga Location.
I tried this location for my first Jersey Mike’s Sub. Let’s just say it was subpar at best. My sub was made incorrectly and right before I was about to take my first bite I noticed a hair in my sub that was a few inches long. Needless to say I won’t return to this spot or try any other Jersey Mike’s again. Completely dissatisfied!
I have visited this location several times. During my last visit I had to ask the girl that was preparing my sub to change her gloves. She was making sandwiches and running the cash register with the same gloves. My last visit to this location. Definitely have been to much better locations.
I love Jersey Mike’s, but the one in Clifton Park sucks. Men’s room out of order, woman’s room water doesn’t spray good, place is dirty, tables are gross and not cleaned 🤮 my sub is soggy and as I sit here and write this I just realized even my Doritos are stale. :( Unfortunately it’s all kids working here, this is what you should expect from today’s youth 🎮 📱 …
We buy subs at Jersey Mike's an average of once a week. Historically they have been fabulous. Our last two visits are a different story. On Saturday I asked for "light oil and vinegar". The girl kept pouring it on until it was all over the paper. When I got home I opened the sub. The bottom was fairly thin but it was like a sponge...dripping wet. Paper soaked. Wiped it up with a paper towel then wrapped it in paper towels and by 24 hours later we could eat it. Today was even worse. Maybe. This is a tuna sub, veggies and mayonnaise. Too much mayonnaise. The clerk put the top on to cut it and the top slid to the right. Resulting in one half having a big top and a small bottom and vice versa. Then she got ready to roll it into paper and the top slid off entirely to the side taking all the tuna and fillings with it. She tried to squish it together and make it look right and failed. She knew I was upset after I told her that it was for my husband who has to eat in a reclining position. I really think that after she made all of that mess she should have thrown it out and made a new sub for me. At home I had to open it up, scrape mainly tuna off the paper and even the top of the roll. Tuna and the extra mayonnaise smeared everywhere. Because the tops and bottoms didn't match it was impossible to really reconstruct it. Ended up with mayonnaise all over my freshly sealed granite . The yield was that 1/2 of the sub could be served. This made two weeks in a row that our subs were ruined by sloppy sub artists. I don't think that we will return again. And the one star that I gave this place was for cleanliness.
It was the worst experience I've ever had. I asked for an Italian sub the kid mumbled something I asked him to repeat it he threw his hands in the air and said what size he was rude and I walked out
The lady working here was on the phone while making food. Touched her cell phone with her gloves and then went back to making food. When called out on it she went off stating she was having personal issues. GO HOME!!! No way in hell will I ever return as long as she is employed here!!! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
At no point at coming to this location has the experience been positive. I asked for my meat to be grilled and the guy just said no. ,"They had no room". There was no other customers in this location at the time. They were prepping one other set of orders. But there was no accommodating gesture or offer. Every time here, the employee responses are miserable. And it's usually the same guy. Make the trip 10 minutes south to the Malta location. At least their pleasant enough to greet you.
I called to make sure the door dash order was correct. But then i saw from door dash that my order didn't list my customized reuqests...so I called back. THE MANAGER AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS WERE HORRENDOUS. I GOT YELLED AT BY THE MANAGER AND BEFORE I COULD GET A WORD IN THEY HUBG UP ON ME. I WORK AS A CSR AND LET ME TELL U THIS IS THE WORST OF THE WORST THAT A CUST SERV REP JAS EVER TREATED ME. WHEN THEY "ACCIDENTALLY" ANSWETED I COULD HEAR THEM TAKKING TRASH ABOUT ME. I IMPLORE THE GENERAL MANAGER TO REACH OUT TO ME DIRECTLY AS I WAS ONL MAKING DOUBLE SURE THE ORDER WHICH SHOWED NO CUSTOMIZATIONS WAS RIGHT FOR MY 7 YO AUTOSTUC SON. AND WHEN THE MANAGER ANSWERED HE YELLWED AT ME COS I WAS CHECKING.IN MORE THAN 1 TOME THAT THE ORDER WAS CORRECT VASED ON MY PICKY 7 YO AUTOSTIC SON..THEN TO BE TELLED AT AND HUNG UP ON??!?!?! TIME WAS 140 ON SATURDAY THE 10TH OF MAY. THE MANAGERS CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD GET A NEGATIVE 1 FOR HOW THEY BERRATED ME BEFORE HANGING UP ON ME. IVE TRIED CSLLING 2 TIMES SINCE I WAS HUNG UP ON BUT THEYRE SCREENING THE CALLS AND QHEN THEY ACCIDENTALLY ANDWERED I HEARD THEM TALKING CRAP ABOUT ME. DO SOMETHUNG BOUT THIS, MANAGEMENT...OR ILL GO TO CORPORATE
I have ordered food at the Clifton Park store twice now. I will NEVER eat there again! A 2 month old crouton can make a better sub than any of their employees. They also don't do cleaning like they should. I was disgusted the last time I went in there and they should be reported for it. UPDATE - This place is horrible! We ordered online and showed up 10 minutes after I was supposed to be there. Walk in the door and the place was practically empty with maybe 3 customers eating at tables. The staff is unbelievable.. Stood there for a few minutes while they joke around. Finally they ask if they can help. I gave them the name on the order and waited. Come to find out, they didn't make our subs yet. So they start to make the order only to make subs with all the wrong stuff. Had to correct them. I only knew to watch what they are doing from my previous visit. The one employee went in the back to grab bags. He tosses them on the counter next to the other employee and I stood there waiting for a couple more minutes just waiting for them to wrap my sub so I could leave. Also, while I was waiting for them to finally make my order, I noticed something disgusting. They had a old gross sub just laying in the meat cooler. I don't think a sub shop could be any worse.
You shouldn't let the only person at the counter just stand there while you make online orders. 1123am 4/15/25. Unacceptable customer service. Is the bare minimum really that difficult?
The customer service was terrible. More concerned with making online orders ( does it really take 3 people to make online order subs?) Ordered gluten-free and it wasn't made to the standards of other locations. Changed gloves and that's it. Put my sandwich next to gluten bread... Like basically touching it... Asked for mayo 3 times and she finally put it on but with attitude. The whole crew needs to go or get fired. I'm currently having a reaction to cross contamination which has never happened before. Never have this issue in Malta. I'll go there from now on.
I watched the grill cook handle raw bacon then reach over and cut my sub roll in half WITHOUT CHANGING his gloves. I told one of the employees and they said " don't worry about, he does it all the time". I contacted the health department. That can kill somebody. Don't go there. Also, no refund as of yet.
Where do I start? When I walked in, this is what I saw: -three door dash drivers asking repeatedly where their orders were and noting they were already 20-30 minutes late because of the slow service -one worker helping his friends out with free drinks and ignoring other customers -another worker yelling at him to focus on the orders -a stack of 10 empty loaves of bread which I’m guessing were unfulfilled orders I waited to be helped and one of the employees had to be reminded twice to take my order, despite standing right in front of me and ignoring me. Once they did take my order, they lobbed an empty loaf of bread onto the growing pile of other unfulfilled orders. The workers were arguing, nobody was happy, so I left without my order. There’s no other way to describe this location than “complete and utter dumpster fire”.
Picked up our on-line order from the Clifton Park, NY store and brought it home and 2 of the 3 subs were made wrong. Called and spoke to the manager. He was rude, unprofessional and had very poor customer service skills. He made no apologies. I asked for his name and he refused. Also, we could hear an employee in the background mocking our conversation. He and the manager either need to be retrained or fired. We will not be returning.
Male Employee cutting the meat and slicing the bread has long hair hanging down over his visor. It’s gross. There’s no way it doesn’t fall into food. He could easily put the hair under the visor. Other employee giggled when I mentioned it. Gross.
Placed an online order while we were stuck in traffic. It ended up taking 47 minutes to make 3 subs well after lunch peak hour. There is absolutely nothing special enough about these sandwiches to justify it taking this long. It looked like the people in line were waiting a lot longer than normal too. I felt really bad for the staff. They were working as hard as they could, but the store obviously is not equipped to deal with the demand.
Would give this location a zero star if I could. Ordered online and went at the designated time to pick up my order. When I arrived only one item was prepared. The other two items were not even ready. When asked they were out of bacon and needed to cook some more. Waited over a half hour additional and they still were not completed. Truly disappointed and probably won’t be back.
After you read this, read all the other bad reviews this location recently received. Many problems in the recent past with numerous customers. In my opinion, It appears that management has been unable to correct various aspects of poor quality control of this store. I ordered a hot and cold sub around 5:30pm for a 6:30pm pick up at the Jersey Mikes Clifton Park, NY location for my son and myself. I arrived at 6:42 only to find out they forgot to make my hot sub. Without saying anything such as "Sorry, we forgot to make your sub", one employee just went to the grill and started making my sub. While I waited for an additional 10 minutes, there were several employees out front standing around talking. The floors and countertops were filthy. No one was cleaning. The appearance was disgusting. Once my sub was made, one of the employees handed me my order without a word and walked away. Not "sorry", not a "have a nice evening"... nothing. In addition, they put the hot sub with the cold sub instead of separating the orders so part of the cold sub was warm when I got home. What is wrong with these young workers who want high wages but refuse to properly do their jobs, take pride in their business's appearance, or treat their customers with common courtesy? This Jersey Mikes store has just lost several customers from my family.
Ordered 3 subs for take out, not one of them was made properly. Little things, like adding tomatoes when we said no tomatoes, mixing no breads, etc. Annoying.
Nov 21, 2025. Had guests arriving around 11 AM. Ordered 3 subs from JM for pickup at 10:45. Sandwiches were ready on time. Opened the bag at home and found the rolls used were stale, there was no Jersey Mikes juice on the sandwiches. Very disappointed. We’ve been a customer at this shop for years and have always been satisfied. This order was terrible, as well as an embarrassment to offer to my guests.
Employees do not understand basic cross contamination procedures. I’ve been here multiple times and I should not have to ask the employees to change their gloves it should be standard. Disgusting went to Five guys instead.
Was there to pickup an order for Doordash. I was informed they forgot all about the order and made it when I got there. Two of the three young men working fumbled to make the sandwich and put the bag together. After handing it off they made comments about me and whistled at me as I left... Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable for me. I'll never stop in here as a customer.
