The food here is amazing! The meat was cooked perfectly and I absolutely loved the fried rice. For a lowkey place like Shun De Mom, the service and food was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Amazing and delicious selection of authentic Chinese food. The chef will cook your meal on the spot. In addition, the place slightly deviates from a typical restaurant but the food is exceptional! I would suggest getting food from the Chinese secret menu. Service is fast and the staff are friendly.

Love this place, food is freshly cooked and has large portions. They have regular menu and then special off menu dishes. The owner/register guy is really nice. Wish he was my dad

This was my go to Chinese restaurant when I was in college. Everything I got was always great, my go to were the eggrolls and noodles. Friendly staff. My family would request to come here when they would visit me from out of town. Parking was always tricky though so I would try to always get take out.

You know a place is good & authentic when you are the only white guy in there. I say this I. The most no -racist and complimentary way possible. It's a great value, too. $8.99 for a heaping box of 3 items and rice and a drink!

One of my go to places for food in College Station. The prices are great and the portion sizes are huge! All the employees I've encountered have been curteous and professional. The food has been served hot and in a to go container. This makes carrying left overs around campus really easy. Everything I've tried there has been delicious! I enjoy their rotating lunch specials, and I enjoy their dinner menu. They're Wonton Soup is full of Wontons, it takes me two sittings to eat everything. Their orange chicken is also spicy and delicious. I will be going back to try more things!

If you've ever thought about going to Panda Express for lunch, please come here instead. All of the food is delicious and flavorful, you can taste things like red chili, lemongrass, etc. It's very authentic and the prices are great, I usually always come out of here with leftovers. I'm a fan of the stir fried vermicelli and the shrimp tempura, but their menu is pretty big and has something for everyone. Note though, the wok is a bit loud and orders do take at least 15 minutes to make. I don't mind it for the food, it's great, but expect to wait a little bit for anything made to order. (I think they also have a lunch special where you just come in and choose sides, that doesn't require a wait.) In short, love it here ^^

This is my favorite place to get takeout from in all of college station. My favorite place to get curry fried rice, they have great spices. Just to show how successful they’ve been they are reinvesting in a big remodel currently. If the owners could reply I am greatly interested in when you are planning your reopen?

I'd been hoping they'd open again and now they're back! A convenient location for Chinese food right across from campus on the edge of Northgate. They have a great lunch special, a giant pile of food (options change daily) and a drink for only $8 if you pay cash. Also, you can get most dinner-portion dishes for about $10. All the food is great, whether you like typical American Chinese food or want to try something more traditional. Can afford it even on a college student budget.

They are very generous with the lunch portions. I’d also recommend getting takeout. Lack of ac and ventilation inside makes it an unpleasant dining experience in the summer.

If you want to know how actual Chinese food taste like, this the place. $13 for a lunch plate with massive servings is a steal in town. Parking may be limited though. Don’t park across the street, apparently them people tow.

Serving size is fairly large which makes this place relatively cheaper. Their Chinese menu has some really good items that are not available on the English menu. They have lunch hours, which I would recommend to stay away from since most of those lunch options don't taste good. Most of the staff speaks little to no English so it's easy to get the wrong thing ordered at times.

"Hole in the wall Chinese restaurant" is a good description of location and, like most "hole in the wall" places, the food was good. I had orange chicken and chicken fried rice. The portion was huge, cooked well and was ready in a relative short period of time. I recommend it.

The food was fantastic! The portions were huge and the price was very affordable. It’s one of those local dives with really good food that the locals frequent. I’m not handing out the fifth star because they don’t make the ordering process clear on any level. We sort of just followed the folks in front of us who spoke the language and hoped we were doing the right thing. You get the menu when you get to the counter so be ready to read fast. The food is good and not American spicy but Asian spicy so we really loved it. There was a line so there may be a wait. We would recommend this to anyone wanting traditional Asian cuisine!

This place is very popular. I’ve been here twice. Unfortunately, it is not for me. I believe their food is good but they are just way off in some of their flavors.

I ordered the mixed fried rice. They took about 50 minutes to serve my order, and the fried rice too oily. Honestly, the fried rice from Panda Express is cheaper and tastes better. Some of the other dishes are better, like the shrimp with nuts. The only plus with this place is that they serve enough food for two meals. Cheap and O.K. food that you will wait a LONG time to receive. Not worth the wait in my opinion.

A bit of a mixed bag. Wait times can get very long with just a few tables filled. This shouldn’t be a problem for a restaurant that does takeout, except two of the three times I attempted to order online and pickup my food, their website was not accepting orders. As for the food itself, it’s alright. Some of the dishes can be a little bland or not especially flavorful, but they’re not bad. The food isn’t cheap, but understandably so, as the portions are generous. Honestly though, I really only go to this place because it’s the only place that serves Chinese food close to me. Totally gross food. Cooked black and full of MSG. After eating I drink a lot of water but my tongue was still sticky. Yuck!
