Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - Collierville

First time at a Firebirds anywhere and I was pleasantly surprised. Right off from their version of deviled eggs (definitely check out that picture). And if your really hungry give this place some serious consideration as the portions are large enough to be shareable. Chicken pasta had just the right amount of zing for me and the club sandwich filled my hungry stomach plus their sauce was just enough Spivey to make it above average for sure. Create service by Elvis. A waiter worth asking for.

My first time trying out this place. Exceeded expectations. Set reservations for brunch with no wait. The food was delicious. Best shrimp and grits I've had in awhile. Waiter provided excellent service. I'd definitely return for dinner next time, and recommend everyone to try it out.

Very nice restaurant. We got the baby back ribs, they were fall off the bone good. Even gave us hot towels to clean our hands, nice touch. Very nice atmosphere.

Great spot for grilled steaks, chicken, and seafood! Everything was great at this location. The appetizer, salads, entrees, and dessert were all a hit. The drinks were a bonus hit. Really good mixed drinks! Service was really good, fast and friendly. I recommend a reservation around busy times.

We completely enjoyed our meal at Firebird’s in Collierville! Alexis our waitress was cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. Brunch from chef Brandon was on point and delicious. CC the general manager made sure we were enjoying our meal. Let me say, the French Toast was the best I have ever eaten. We cannot wait to come back to share our experience with family and friends.

Amazing service and experience for dinner tonight! Eileen our server was fantastic! She was so sweet and even recommended drink options to us which my husband loved the Chocolate Old Fashion! Food was so good!! Can't wait to come back!!

We made reservations and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing, it was perfect for a date with my wife. The food was fantastic, I highly recommend this ribeye steak.

Great spot for dinner. One of a few places open for Christmas eve. Loved the portion sizes. That and fact the food was tasty made it a worthwhile stop after a day of driving.

Well I must say, Firebirds did not disappoint. Since it was a Saturday we opt to reserve a table through the app at Find a table. The appetizers were delicious (lobster spinach queso & smoked chicken wings). You know of course that hot bread came out with the creamy sweet butter. We had Cadillac Margueritas, Old Fashion and the Strawberry Lemon cocktails; sorry if they were included in the pics (they got sipped up quickly 😀). The main course two 16 oz Aged Ribeyes, Grilled Salmon all with loaded baked potatoes and salad. Take home desserts were sooo good (5 layer lemon cake & Cinnabon roll). We give much thanks to our attentive server Shaun and especially the Manager Mr. Chris ensuring everything was cooked as ordered, it's appreciated knowing customers needs are of value & Mr. Chris walked around interacting with customers ensuring their experience whether first time or not were addressed and resolved. Yes, my family will definitely return.

Shariyca was our waitress, she did a phenomenal job and had a great attitude with a smile every time she came to our table. The food was excellence! We got the sirloin that was cooked perfect! And the salmon that was cooked lovely with a nice crisp on the bottom. We both got fries extra crispy and they did not disappoint! We both left very full and satisfied!

Glen provided our service. He did an excellent job. We each ordered the 3 course meal. I expected petite portions, but all portions were full-size. I ordered the BLT salad, the ribs, chocolate brownie sundae. Delicious 😋! Thank you for a great meal experience.

What a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was PHENOMENAL! Our server, Lindsey was so great. He was so attentive and very personable. I would definitely recommend dining here and ask for Lindsey!!

We came for my wife's birthday celebration. We arrived earlier than our reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server, Lindsey did an excellent job of making sure we were well taken care of despite having a large serving area. He continuously checked on us and refilled our beverages. He even supplied my wife with a small birthday treat, which really made her day. The food was great. The flavors were rich and fulfilling. My plate looked just like the picture. It had been a long time since I had some ancient grains and theirs did not disappoint.

Firebirds dinner was very good. I had an 11 ounce bacon wrapped fillet with a blue cheese sauce. Delicious. Steak cooked perfectly. Would recommend. Service was great too

As always a great time. Service was great and the food was better. Really enjoyed Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and ribeye. Wife's prime rib was awesome.

Never heard of these guys and I'm sorry that I haven't. The experience was great. Service was top notch and food was extremely good. King of the night was the philly egg rolls. I can't say enough about how good they were. Steaks were cooked beautifully to medium/medium rare and well seasoned. We tried both the garlic butter and the Cajun butter options. The mashed potatoes were great too. Carrot cake was ok but the caramel sauce was excellent. The chocolate cake was to die for and being paired with the ice cream was 🤌🏾 Highly recommended

We enjoyed our meal. Did not have reservation and opted to dine in the bar area next to the fireplace Our Server was Kelly very friendly and attended to our needs.

The good: 3 course menu is a good value. Bread is served warm with butter and is nice and soft inside. Ceasars salad had some kick to it and wasn't boring. Sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, and the petite size dessert was just the right size for a sweet taste after a meaty meal. The bad: when we first came in, we were asked if we had a reservation. We said now and they said the wait would be over an hour. My companion told me on the way out that Opentable said they had no wait. I opened up Opentable and sure enough got a reservation. Had our table within 10 minutes. I don't know how their system interacts but that's not a good customer experience. Also, and I hate to say this, the food was over seasoned, to the point where the steak and even potatoes were mostly just salty. I hate bland food and I would rather see overseason than under, but it was just a tad too much. Main reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Bananas foster bread pudding was amazing though Atmosphere is what you would expect from a steak place. More upscale than a longhorns or Texas Roadhouse, but not as formal as a Ruth's Chris. You'll be just as at home in a suit after work or just a button up shirt. In fact, we were there in Tshirt amd hoodie (we had not planned this in advance) and it was fine.

Took my friend here for her birthday. She ordered eggrolls and smashed them. I ordered surf & turf I would say 7/10. We had 2 lemon drops each, they were 10/10. I loved how our waitress brought the setup to the table and poured in front of us. Overall I liked the restaurant and I would return again.

We enjoy eating at Firebirds from time to time. When I want a salmon, this is my to go to restaurant in Memphis. It is sooooo good! My husband enjoys their steaks! We went during happy hour. It was not extremely busy, service was fast and the ambiance was great! Thank you Firebirds!

Ate at this restaurant during a trip to Memphis for a soccer tournament. The service was good, fast, and friendly. The restaurant was clean and organized during my visit. I ordered a burger and it was cooked to my specification and tasted freshly made. Not a bad visit and would go again.

Food was excellent. Had attentive attendants seeing to our needs. Steak was cooked to perfection and the appetizers were good. Also, it's worth mentioning that pre meal bread was great as well.

So first off we were greeted by a young lady at the hostess stand who never looked up from her phone , was terribly rude.. interrupting everything i said with a loud “ huh ?“ or “ wha? “ … also she was barefooted with one croc 🐊 on … but once we arrived to our table our server Verdell was wonderful!! Didn’t have to wait on anything , everything we ordered was spot on and Verdell was quick to refill drinks and bring food !! Now on to the food .. being a steak house we both ordered steak dishes but it was brunch so we tried new things .. my wife got the steak tacos and they were very disappointing.. gristle and fat throughout and covered in an awful sauce that resembled sweet ketchup .. side mushrooms were ok at best .. my meal consisted of a breakfast bowl with steak , eggs and potatoes.. I ended up with multiple balls of inedible balls of fat and gristle .. my son had chicken strips and Mac and cheese and it was great !! The one good dish we had was the seared tuna with wonton salad and variety of sauces !! A few drinks from the bar and we were off !! Will kot be returning but would not discourage anyone from trying it at least once !! ASK FOR VERDELL !! Great service with a smile !!

Ate here with family because I wanted somewhere cozy to eat. The place has a wood burning fireplace that gives it the warm atmosphere. Service was good. Some food items were average and others were more than average. The resturant is near the outside mall so it's a good place to eat at after shopping. Parking was easy and accessible.

It was just me after a 12hr shift for my birthday. I was seated promptly, and greeted promptly. The ladies behind me quickly became very loud and yelling about how the food was terrible, she had an allergy not addressed properly, you couldn’t pay me to come back to this slum, etc. I heard this through almost the entire duration of my meal. I ordered promptly, entree arrived first, then 18 minutes after ordering the cocktail, then my appetizer as I was asking for the check. I ended up taking all of it home. The cocktail was the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like acidic vomit. A mule shouldn’t be cloudy either. I’ve had this drink many times before at this same location. The waiter took the drink off my bill, and sincerely apologized. The food was tasty but I had a whopping 4 small slices of pork compared to the absolutely loaded plate with undercooked mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I’ve had the port mushrooms with every meal I’ve eaten there-it’s my favorite side. These were terrible. The garnish on the crab cakes that came as I was asking for the check-1 piece was fresh but brown, the other was completely dried up. Whoever was running expo wasn’t doing the best. The sweet waiter felt bad about my experience and brought me a little piece of cheesecake and told me happy birthday. The waiter was the only positive part about my visit last night.

My meal was ok. I had the chicken pasta he had the bass. The server forgot our appetizer, the utensils, they were out of my choice of wine. We waited a long time for our meal our desert and our ticket. Going to dinner is more than food, its also about service.

The pork chop is way better than the steaks steaks are over priced and under seasoned

The chef(s) at this location seem to care little about the delivery orders. Every steak I’ve ordered has been burnt and today my salmon was literally black it was so burnt. While my experiences in the restaurant are always of great quality, every delivery order is burnt.

I recently dined here and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfying. The chicken I ordered had a burnt taste, and the potatoes were overwhelmed with cheese, detracting from their flavor. On a positive note, the ambiance was pleasant, and the drink I ordered was decent. However, my visit to the bathroom revealed a lack of cleanliness, which left me feeling uneasy, as I often consider the bathroom's condition a reflection of the kitchen's hygiene. Given these issues, I wouldn't choose to dine here again.

Where do I start? We made reservations for 6:15pm on a weekday and were so glad that we did. Although there was a wait, we were seated right away. We had several items among the table, so I’ll list everything out below. Most things were okay but we had a very weird experience with the Red Snapper entree. For that reason, I’m not sure that I’ll return. - Cheesesteak Eggrolls: good texture but lacking flavor, had a strong green pepper taste - Lobster Queso: decent flavor but didn’t seem like a true Queso, wouldn’t purchase again - Red Snapper: Weird! 2 guests ordered it and one was nice, flavorful and easily flaked off. The other was hard as a brick, rubbery and just nasty. They attempted to make it again 2 more times, but it didn’t get any better. We weren’t charged for it but I they should really consider removing it from the menu. - Cajun Pasta: one guest like it, another thought the flavor was too light and borderline bland - Salmon: nicely cooked and accompanying veggies were really good - Lemon Cake: disappointing, small considering the price, didn’t “wow” any of the guests - Creme Brûlée Cheesecake: yummy but also appeared small considering the price

Steak was extremely salty to the point that it could not be finished for 2 of us on the table of 3 First booth had faulty flickering lights. Got moved to a second booth where I had a non-stop drip of water from the roof onto the seat next to me, and another dripping from the roof to the other side behind my shoulder. Very grateful that we were provided discount for our experience, and Limmie for his attentive service

My wife and I had reservations yesterday and this was our first visit to this restaurant. The hostess seemed very dry and unconcerned. We had to wait 30 minutes for seating, even though we had reservations. Once we were seated, it was so cold due to the vent being right above us. We asked one of the hostesses if she could get someone to turn the air down a little. With a frown on her face she stated she would but she never returned to confirm it. Once the waiter came over, we received the same dry attitude like these employees did not want to work today or something. Due to the horrible hospitality and the bad attitudes from the staff, my wife and I walked out. This is very sad, my wife and I were really impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant but the staff need to be held accountable.

Totally disgusting to place an order only to find, the wings are filled with chicken feathers. Never will I again eat here!!! Plus there was a long chicken feather in the container at the bottom. Pictures are provided

Had a $10 birthday reward and decided to use it on a kids steak, Mac n cheese and mash potatoes..The food was HORRIBLE!!! I WOULDN'T EVEN FEED THIS TO A DOG AND FIREBIRDS SERVING IT TO KIDS.. I was very disappointed by the food the steak was brick hard the mc and cheese was under cooked and dry and the mash potatoes tasted and smelled moldy like it had been in the pot for days ..The togo bread and butter was good and I recognized one of my favorite servers Elvis who was nice to me while he was serving other customers..Kids are humans to please take pride in making their food just as good as the adults entrees..

I love Firebirds but for the last several years, I feel like it’s been going downhill. I recently ordered a ribeye on Door Dash and my ribeye had so much salt on it that I couldn’t eat it. The few bites that I had were so tough like shoe leather. Very saddening to see and watch.

I don’t frequent here often, but the past few times I’ve been here there’s always been some type of issue. That’s the past. Today Feb. 20th, at around 2:45pm I walked in, sat at the bar, never was acknowledged by the woman behind the bar. She gave the other patrons their check and continued washing the martini glasses without once offering a menu nor water. I’m not sure what the issue was, but I got up and left. I normally don’t leave reviews, but the economy is too bad for some businesses for your employees to not engage with willingly paying customers.
