Excellent food, all plant based/vegan. Shakes are amazing and the burgers are also very good. Its inside the whole foods but some seating is tucked away so you dont feel like you are eating inside whole foods.

Awesome! Fast casual joint inside of the Whole Foods. They have something for everybody, with decadent meaty cheesy burgers, healthy mushroom grain and bean burgers, over the top creations, and spicy hot hot hot burgers. I had the blue cheese burger with tempeh bacon and the mushroom and quinoa patty, and my dad had the Maverick Burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings which he loved.

Save the planet, save ourselves. A relatively healthier and eco-friendly alternative to the processed ridden choices in most fast foods. They now have more burger selections and sides. Clean facilities and have lots of seats. Service is great as expected.

This is one of the restaurant we will go out of our way to visit. They have some of the tastiest vegan burgers around. They have the beyond patty which is our favorite. But they also have delicious burger combinations that we love. On this visit we Had the beyond patty on a pretzel roll and it was amazing. I also had a bowl of the chili which is always satisfying.

Best hamburgers in the Bay Area I ordered the classic burger thinking it was going to taste bad however it turned out to be better then regular hamburgers … nice vegetables and I also ordered the organic orange cream shake was one of the best because it tasted like they added the juice not a can of orange crush…so yummy I will be back… my husband ordered a steak sandwich it was so delicious…

Amazing vegan selections! All vegan - burgers & chick'n, they were out of fishless fish... Quinoa, beyond burger, beans, vegan cheeses, ranch sauces, mayo, coleslaw! Amazing onion rings! Drinks are expensive & no refills from what we saw. Indoor & plenty of outdoor seating. Interesting shakes looked delicious, we were too full to try them. Staff was helpful & hard working. Food was delicious and we'll come back. Would've loved fries, green bean tempura fries, fried mushrooms, zucchini, etc - maybe seasonally available? Ate our food before we remembered to take a picture. It was that good.

I’ve been here twice. The first time was a couple of years ago and I bought a hot dog. The flavor was on point but the texture was off putting. There were large chunks in the sausage and I don’t remember any hot dog with chunks, ever. Most recently was on the 21st. I bought an Octoberfest “burger”. It was a messy delight. The beer cheese and grilled veggies made for a slippery, messy burger. But the meat, flavors and overall texture was wonderful. The “meat” was not strange, but resembled ground beef perfectly. The cheese is dairy free as are the shakes they offer. I bought a seasonal pumpkin small shake and was impressed with the real pumpkin flavor that came through along with the coconut milk ice cream, which was very creamy. While there I asked about the hot dog and was told they have changed who they outsource with. The texture is smooth, not chunky. I’ll be back to give that a try. Folks serving and cooking were super nice and willing to take the time to educate. I recommend if you’re looking for a special treat and have a hankering for a bit of those yesterday’s when you could have animal products or didn’t know that was what was causing that digestive upset, to give Next Level a try. This is very much an indulgence restaurant. Enjoy responsibly!

This is a great spot for vegan burgers. I like that they offer burgers that don't involve impossible meat. Have been here twice. I have had the Chipotle burger and the SoCal burger 🍔😋. Both were excellent. Today I also tried the organic chocolate shake with coconut milk. It's the best. For vegans with burger cravings this is the spot.

Next Level is one of the best vegan spots near the bay, they replicate animal fries impressively & serve large portions regardless of what some reviews claim below.. It was well worth the price for such a decadent meal & connected to Whole Foods I could live here

Amazing place. I tried the mexicali burger with fries. Taste was very good. The seating area is not so good. But the food quality and service is top notch. Its inside whole foods so you can go shop after a saturday afternoon brunch.

This was probably the best burger I've had in my life !! I haven't been vegan my whole life but the American chzburger was even better than any of the animal based burgers I've had 💗 The service was also great, I think the employee was working by herself but service was reasonably fast and she remade the burger for me without me asking because it was a bit overcooked. I also got a peanut butter cup shake which was half coconut and half soy and that was great too. It's nice to have so many vegan options in the East Bay, I'll definitely be back!

Best vegan burger ever. I have never been disappointed here. I don't get to visit often, but I always order a classic cheeseburger, and it's always great. The bun, sauces, charbroiled patty, cheese, and bacon are all top tier. The burger is a little on the soft/messy side, that's the only criticism I could add.

One member of the family now eats vegetarian/vegan food so this was perfect. So we got the classic burger, the beyond meat, and grilled cheese sandwich for the kid. We also ordered the tater tots and fries. And some shakes, mint chocolate chips, peanut butter chocolates chips and a regular chocolate shake. The beyond burger had good flavor but it seemed to be a little under cooked but nothing that a microwave can’t fix. The classic burger was made with quinoa, it was good, it had a little kick to it but it became very messy because it was a little on the soft side but still good. The grilled cheese was interesting looking-it was two burger buns flipped with cheese inserted in between never seen it done that way. The shakes were awesome! You can get it made with soy or coconut based, it was delish! Our server Roxanne was very friendly. We ordered food for pick up so it was ready once we got there. Nice and hot. Note: the menu might need a little update. I mentioned we ordered on the phone and we tried to order spicy tater-tots and salted caramel shake they said those weren't on the menu. So maybe need to remove those :).

2 ⭐️ Could hardly stretch myself for giving this place 2 stars and only for tasting delicious beyond Stakk’d Steake Burger. Starting from rude service, strapped (closed for customers unless provide proof of vaccination and even then you have to open it yourself) inside seating in the walkway with only three tables available and few bar stools by the window, beat up interior (scratched and dirty walls), filthy and greasy furniture, tasteless Beyond Burger and Chili Cheese Style Fries are calling for 0⭐️ Outside of healthy food attempt this place needs some attention. 4⭐️update 3-21-22 Would gladly upgrade my review to four stars due to well improved customer service, management follow ups and pleasant atmosphere. Although some recipes would need a little tuneup, the others are perfectly matched. The Maverick Burger is a bit dry and has two much of the BBQ sauce that kills the taste of patty and even onion ring. Beyond animal Burger on the other hand is nicely combined to please your burger needs and more. Top it off with a special style fries and coconut peanut shake aaaaand you got yourself enough calories to last through the week. Improved service pleasantly surprised and made us (my wife and myself) feel welcomed. Thank you, Roxae. And thank you Sasha Younger for not letting disappointed customers live with the burden of dissatisfaction. Way to go, Next Level Burger Team!

I think that they also need better bun options. For two of the "Stacked" burgers and two small soy shakes...$42! For the price, I'd rather go to a sit down Vegan restaurant for a filling meal or a Habit Beyond Burger for half the price and double the size! Next Level Burgers is an attempt to franchise Vegan fast food to the "Next Level". It's Vegan but, as many people may have discovered...it isn't fast.

I’ve been to Next Level a number of times (Concord and SF). I just went to the Concord location today and got a large sweet potato fries and a chick’n sandwich, which is my usual order. They gave me literally 10-15 fries for $10 and the sandwich had a sour and horrible after taste, which I’ve never experienced from them before. I was very disappointed, as I spent $22 for essentially a few fries, since I had to throw the sandwich away. Really disappointed and a big waste of money for me.
