You can not find higher quality, fresher sushi anywhere in this county than Yokoso, this has been my favorite go to for almost 13 years and they have never once disappointed me!! Go try my new self named roll, the “John Boy”, it is amazing! It has crab and tempura prawn inside, white albacore tuna with Japanese Mustard Sauce painted on top, along with thinly sliced avacado and more crab piled on top, and some fresh scallions !!!

I only had the one roll while I was there but it was very tasty. The fish seem to be nice and fresh.

So we seldom go anywhere without our dog and obviously dogs are not allowed in restaurants. We noted they had one table out front. It's actually in front of See's Candy. We asked if they could serve us out there and they had no problem doing it. They did ask us to pay up front, which I can certainly understand because if you're outside and they're not keeping an eye on you, you could dine and dash. But we paid up front including the tip we had outstanding service. We were outside with our puppy and they even brought her a bowl of water. So I love this place. I love the fact that they're adaptable to whatever your needs are and the food is really really good!

I worked in Walnut Creek from 2010 to 2012. Yokoso Sushi was my favorite place to go for lunch. Every time my husband and I are in Walnut Creek, we go to Yokoso Sushi. My favorite is Fuji roll, it's absolutely delicious. That's why we keep coming back for 13 years. We have not been able to find a comparable Sushi place in San Jose. San Jose has good Sushi, but no place we tried comes close to Yokoso Sushi in Pleasant Hill. Yokoso Sushi is a gem: small place, great food, and good service. Can't go wrong with that.

Walked in for a quick takeout lunch, ordered a Chirashi Bowl from a young lady who was very nice. While I was waiting, another nice young lady offered me something to drink, hot tea, water. I declined, few minutes later she brought my order and asked if I needed anything else, and thanked me for coming in. I know, I'm supposed to be reviewing the food... My chirashi was fantastic! I just had to write about the service! Well done Yakoso!

What a great find. We wanted sushi and just had moved in to the neighborhood and tried out Yokoso for their sushi and it did not disappoint. We started with the Tuna sashimi and it was awesome. Great rolls. Great and friendly service and cute inside. And after all that, the price was more than fair. I recommend 100%.

The service was great, with warm and friendly staff, supper attentive throughout my stay. I tried the Long Beach sushi, which was decent but not extraordinary. The ambient background music added a nice touch, although it was a bit warm inside since the AC wasn't on. It was bearable, but if you prefer a cooler environment, requesting the AC to be turned on might be a good idea! 😄

The ambient background music added a nice touch, although it was a bit warm inside since the AC wasn't on. It was bearable, but if you prefer a cooler environment, requesting the AC to be turned on might be a good idea! 😄

The restaurant has new owners and they definitely spruced up the place. It is more open, light and airy. The chef is the same so the food is still excellent. The new staff is friendly and eager to serve including allowing for food not specifically on the menu. The only drawback is that prices have been increased substantially, i.e. $3 per roll. Still recommend it though. Great food!

Showed up around 6:40 on Saturday. I understand it’s a busy time, I asked how long it would take for sushi sashimi dinner. They told me 20 mins. I had to make a show at 7:30 so I thought I had time. There were only 3 tables occupied at the restaurant. 1 host who was the server and the manager. Went to gong cha to get a drink and went back at 7:05. They told me it wasn’t ready yet and would take another 20 minutes. That’s unacceptable as I had to go. I asked for a refund which they promptly gave me. This is bad review for the business for not staffing correctly. How do you only staff one waitress or not Train to estimate correctly or send out the orders that are quicker to get out. I’ve worked in restaurants so I know it was a mistake in management. Just for clarification the hostess/waitress was sweet and didn’t argue.
