The salty fish fried rice is the best in the Bay Area! All the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. Everything tasted amazing, and we really enjoyed our meal.
Great food and service! The best honey walnut shrimp I’ve ever had. Every time I come the food is delish. Go…you won’t be disappointed.
Wow! This restaurant was a really nice surprise. We were visiting in town and found this spot nearby. Wasn't expecting much but we were completely amazed by the quality and flavors of their dishes. The hot and sour soup was one of the best I've ever had. I ordered the Mongolian Beef which was so good! My wife ordered sesame chicken and it was outstanding! Portion sizes were huge and the service was top notch. I'd love to go again and try some more dishes from their extensive and delicious menu.
Came on a short whim in the area, the pictures looked amazing. The restaurant was cute as hell. I forgot to take pics of my food, but the soup portions were generous. FYI small soup can be shared between two people! I wish lunch portions were available on the weekends, they looked good in the photos. Cute place for a peaceful date night 😇
This is our new favorite Chinese place! I'm so glad my friend recommended it. We love the hot and sour soup and the pot stickers. We could literally just eat those and we'd be fine lol. But their meat plates are also really good. Totally recommend! The service is also great, everyone is so sweet and nice.
Delicious honey walnut shrimp and to die for salt and pepper pork chop which is a must try.
I have never been to this place before this Sundays event, but through Yelp, Google and through friends I decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did. We were celebrating our son's 7th birthday at Heather Farms, I ordered 3 trays: beef with Broccoli, chicken fried rice, and orange chicken. They were full trays and smelled amazing from the start. The full family greeted my friend and I, we had a brief conversation about the occasion we were celebrating and how we found their restaurant. Went to the party and our friends and family began to eat. My wife and I noticed that we were running out of food and I haven't even had a chance to get something to eat. I decided to call them back up and order another 3 trays of exactly the same thing. Took them about 30 minutes and I got a call to tell me they're whew ready with their order. I just want to say thank you to the owners Jason and Judy (I hope I got the names correct) they were able to accommodate our needs in such an amazingly fast time. I finally able to grab a plate and confirmed the reason why so many of our guests where getting 2nd helping and the kids where devouring every last morsel of food. My wife and I finally found a local Chinese restaurant that has fair pricing, great service and amazing food close to our home. Thanks!!!
The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The owner was very personable and friendly. Definitely will eat here again when we come to town.
It’s a yes for us! Best tasting Chinese in the area. I haven’t ordered anything I didn’t really really like. So far I’ve tried both lemon and orange chicken, fried rice, mixed vegetable beef, Mongolian beef, salt and pepper chicken wings, hot and sour soup, and black pepper beef. All dishes were delightfully good! We’ve made this spot our favorite.

It’s a yes for my taste buds. I love Chinese food. This was a hit. Mongolian beef and orange chicken.
Consistently good food. I usually get the lunch special. Price is very reasonable usually less than $18. I generally it's a black bean sauce fish and it's delicious. I recommend this place for people who want a inexpensive good and large amount of food
The absolute best Chinese food I have ever had. We got orange chicken, pork fried rice, and beef noodle. Restaurant was clean, service was great and had a wonderful atmosphere. We visited from out of town but will be telling everyone if they come up to the east bay area they need to eat here.
Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food is fresh, flavorful, and comes out hot every time. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sauce, the dumplings were packed with flavor, and the fried rice was delicious without being heavy or greasy. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the service is quick. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. If you’re craving really good Chinese food, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll 100% be back!
The food was delicious, and the owners were so kind! A great place to eat with family. Standouts were the salt and pepper wings, spicy green beans, and shrimp egg foo young.
Quick meal, long meal, date place, large gathering, take-out, eat-in--- China Palace always has us covered! I have probably brought 50 different family and friends here for various occasions over the years. They have all the Chinese American food, I would say, but try the Salt & Pepper Pork or ask Judy what's good! Continue supporting this family-run business!
The food is excellent. The host is absolutely wonderful. Great service. Don’t get caught up that only 3 star ratings equal good Chinese food.
If you’re looking for Great Chinese from Great People on Christmas Day make sure to order early. Take out only. They’re already busy at 2 pm. Call ahead to order. Worth the wait!

I had a really good experience here. The food tasted fresh, well-prepared, and high quality, and you can tell care goes into the ingredients and cooking. The owners were kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Prices are on the higher side compared to some other Chinese spots, but the quality seems to justify it. It feels like they may be using better ingredients or putting more effort into preparation. Either way, my goal is simply to give an honest impression so others can decide for themselves. Overall, the food was genuinely good and I’ll definitely be back. If you’re considering trying this place, it’s worth giving them a shot. Fun fact: Traditional Chinese cooking often focuses on balancing five flavors—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami—so dishes taste fuller and more satisfying even with simple ingredients.
Nice quiet place to eat, good food, great service. Nice atmosphere. I will come back when im in the area.
Food was very good, specifically we had the wonton soup for 2, the house version of Hong Kong crispy noodles, bbq pork fried rice and sesame chicken. (The crispy noodle pic is after I tossed them to start softening the noodle with the sauce, they were truly crispy upon serving)

The workers are very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The food came out pretty quickly, since I went when it wasn't crowded, and it all tasted great! The price is a little on the expensive side with everything being around $2 more than what I'm used to. However it is covid-19 times so I can't blame them if they had to raise prices to survive. I would rate the food 8/10 for taste/quality. The orange chicken had more of a donut style breading, which was really good and very soft. The mongolian beef had some pieces that might have been overly tenderized but overall delicious. I had to drop a star because the steamed rice cost $1.75 extra. That would have been fine if they brought out a big amount, but they gave me the size in the picture below. Honestly, that's unacceptable for me. That amount of rice should be 25 cents. I would recommend getting take out and cooking the rice at home.
we had high hopes for this place based on the reviews but we were let down. i’ll start by saying the mongolian beef and hot & sour soup were good. the orange chicken…it was more orange than chicken. over breaded and hardly any chicken. i ate a couple of pieces and decided i couldn’t eat anymore. there were pieces that has zero chicken in it. if i’m paying EIGHTEEN dollars for this dish, i expect actual chicken. i can buy an entire organic rotisserie chicken for $12 and slap some orange sauce on it. pretty disappointed and wouldn’t come back. the women that gave me our food was nice at least :)
The two of us arrived Friday at 6pm. The employee directed us to a table. I asked to be seated at another table as I preferred not sitting right next to where other people were entering to pick up to go orders and since the restaurant was mostly empty, assumed they would honor my request. After asking a second time, the server seemed to get angry so another employee seated us. As you can see in the photo, seating request should not have been an issue. Once our food arrived, we asked the server for hot sauce and the server responded “anything else?” They did seem to have a good rapport with what appeared to be regular customers. Our food was fine, but not enjoyable due to service.
Waitress appeared to be alarmed by a 1 year old babbling baby. Her reaction of disgust was definitely off-putting but we decided not to make a huge stink of it. XLB soup dumplings were dry without soup and served on a plate of cabbage instead of a wooden steamer like I'm used to. Missed the mark with fishy tasting har gao with thick gummy texture and sub par sui mai. Ordered Mongolian combination but was given Mongolian beef. Waitress was upset to have to take it back and provide us with the correct dish. We were a party of 8 and a baby. We also ordered Hong kong-style chow mein, half a roasted duck, orange chicken, happy family, asparagus salmon, and white rice. All of which was ok/good but will likely not return.

Very rude server, shouldn’t be left there receiving clients, food is mediocre, we ordered combination kung pao and it looks and taste insipid. The lettuce wrap is bland with not enough wrap. Maybe lettuce that day is expensive 🤣 on the good side, their west lake beef soup is okay.
I’ve eaten here twice and have tried the Kung Pao chicken, General Tso’s chicken and chicken fried rice - I cannot recommend any of them. The food is flavorless and so loaded with salt/MSG that my wife and I had to chug water all night just to quell our pounding headaches from dehydration. I gained 3lbs from water retention after this meal and didn’t enjoy a single bite. I’m fairly easy to please and don’t like leaving negative reviews of small businesses, but this food is exceptionally bad. Avoid.
The food passes for my personal taste however! I was trying to not notice the interesting attitude, but twice too many I felt annoyed by the rudeness from the younger girl, and her mom backs it up. They once asked me to post a positive review since I enjoyed going there a few times and I gladly overlooked the slight rudeness here and there, but the last time was the last time. I changed my 5 star to a 1 star review because the last tasteless experience was enough for me to say, your food is not good enough for me to overlook the unnecessary attitude. If you're reading this? Your kid's attitude is unprofessional and unappealing for any work setting, and you too ma'am, especially with newer customers or clients. This is my honest review. No pettiness or bitterness, just constructive feedback.
The customer service provided by the younger female employee (there’s only 1) was extremely poor. Her tone was abrupt and dismissive, and she spoke to customers in a manner that was neither courteous nor professional!! The interaction felt aggressive rather than welcoming. Another, older female employee (there’s only 1) attempted to smooth over the situation, but unfortunately the initial experience had already set the tone. Due to this experience, I will not be returning. If my husband had not already paid, I would have left ZERO tip and it would have been warranted. The absence of my business and that of others will have more of an impact. #Goodbye ✌️
