Our dinner was incredible and was made so special by Romaine - our wonderful server. He was so attentive and recommended everything to us. The food was amazing, we got the prime rib, ceasar salad and soup and it was all delicious. Thank you Romaine for an amazing dinner + good luck with the rest of the season! ❤️

The wait staff was excellent, and the food was just as good. Even better was the view of the lake! I highly recommend the outdoor seating if the weather permits. If I’m ever in Cooperstown, I would definitely return for a meal.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Hawkeye bar & grill while we visited Cooperstown. Definately a must try while you visit. View is gorgeous. The food was wonderful, the meatloaf was a generous portion and just so flavorful. 10/10 experience

The patio view was breathtaking. The French onion soup and grilled cheese was delicious and very filling. The burger was huge and tasty. The banana drink special was well flavored and not too strong, but just right. The Cosmo was perfection.

We went for their International Night for Mardi Gras and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was top notch! The only critique I have is that maybe there could have been a little bit more food. But that might also be because I'm a glutton for good grub.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner for our 25th wedding anniversary. Rachel took care of us, and she did an outstanding job. She and "Jennifer Lawrence" (they will know who I'm talking about) were so kind and friendly with us. The food was delicious, the detail on our desserts was very cute. Beautiful restaurant in The Otesaga Resort Hotel with beautiful views of Ostego Lake. The service was great and the food was amazing. Best burger I've had in a while. We also had the heirloom tomato with burrata and the ribs. Everything was great. Our waiter was polite and the prices were pretty fair. The view of the lake is nothing short of amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or staying at the hotel.

Great location overlooking the lake, indoor and Outdoor seating. Service was prompt, friendly and very efficient. Food was top notch, just a simple lunch but Excellent start to finish !!

Celebrated my birthday here. Seemed to take a while for our first drinks to arrive, but overall service was great. We had the French onion soup, Mahi Mahi, tagine with tofu, creme brulee, chocolate stout cake. Every single thing was scrumptious. I also tried a cocktail called The Beet Goes On. It was divine . . . if you like beets.

If you are looking for a dining experience with incredible views, gracious staff and relaxed atmosphere then the Hawkeye is your perfect spot. Our server, Darko, went out of his way to create an exceptional experience for us. He was helpful with the menu and his sense of humor put many a smile on our faces. The food was fantastic. The portions at lunch were substantial. We will absolutely be back for dinner.

Very great vegan options. Good service. Carrot hummus is AMAZING! A little expensive but that’s what you get on the lake with amazing food. Could use more vegan desserts 😊

We stayed at the Otesaga Hotal and decided to eat at one of the two restaurants on site. I am so glad we did. The menu was one page which was nice because you didn't get overwhelmed with options. The food was flavorful, filling and a delightful treat for your palate. If you're a wine drinker, I suggest the Moscato. The service was great and you don't wait long for your food. Overall a great experience but can be pricey. Worth it though.

This past visit was good but not great. The service was lacking compared to the high touch I have received in the past and it didn't seem to be a particularly busy night. Now that I think about it, the last two visits have had lower quality service fell two different servers. We called in and made a reservation and we're seated promptly. We had a group of five and we seated at a table for eight. It was too large and a little awkward of a set up as we couldn't hear our waiter and he didn't make an effort to go around the table to hear our orders, offer suggestions, or answer questions other than our favorite answer of the night which was that the prime rib tasted meaty. The meatloaf, french onion soup, bread and butter, and burgers came out delicious. The regular fries were hot and crispy. The sweet potato fries were floppy, soggy, and cold. I'm glad we got to compare both types although disappointed with one. I have always enjoyed eating here but based on this most recent experience, it was too loud for our group to be so spread out, the service was lacking, and not all the food was hot and fresh so I had to take a star away. It was an off night and I'll update after my next visit if we are asked if we'd like anything to drink, drinks are refilled, and dessert is offered.

I ate here while attending a conference. The service was good, not super fast but not super slow either. I ordered the French onion soup and Just a Cheeseburger. The food was good, slightly pricey but we were at The Otesaga so not unexpected. There is an outdoor firebar that is pretty neat.

Food was mediocre at best. The specials were very underwhelming…Mushroom soup under seasoned, pasta too lemony—that’s about the only flavor that was tasted. Jambalaya was too mushy. French onion soup however is good. Service was good as well as the ambiance. However, I would not recommend.
