this place is an absolute gem! we discovered yellow deli passing through on our road trip and were so touched by the warmth and wholesome touch of everything from the ambiance to the delicious food (home made bread!!!) and friendly service. This was such a whimsical experience, absolutely lovely atmosphere. The building itself is a wonder to look at and the seating, walls, everywhere you look is something new to discover. Food was so incredible. The apple cider was fantastical fresh to the point where I had to look for an apple tree.

Vibe is outstanding, Service is great. I got Green Drink. It was different, in a good way. I also got a cup of their daily soup (pumpkin), and chef salad. Both were delicious.

We didn't really know what to expect when we walked in here. We looked briefly at the reviews and all of them were good so we figured what the hell and decided to stop in and try it. When you walk in the first thing you realize is that this is not a typical deli or restaurant for that matter. It has a very hippie meets hobbitt vibe to it, which is not a bad thing, just different. We were seated "upstairs" in an alcove which is perfectly suited for our party of 3. The menu looked interesting, with all of their breads and dairies made fresh. Got our food and must say it was fantastic. I got the Reuben sandwich was awesome and my wife got the yellow submarine special which was the cream cheese concoction with sprouts which was great. My only knock on this place is they don't really have a kids menu for the picky kid eaters. They did have a hot dog but came on a seeded bun which could annoy those picky eaters. Other than that, this place is great and would definitely come back here.

Unbelievable deli. A MUST stop if traveling through. Never had the staff meet and greet me like here. Such great pure energy. The food was so fresh and tasty. Try the Ol Saint Joe for a refreshing latte. The ambiance is as great as the food. Thank you for the great lunch break as we travel back home. We will definitely be back !

The look and feel of the place was very cozy and welcoming. We were greeted with a smile and all the staff was super friendly. We were given the opportunity to try several of their homemade teas in which I went for 1/2 hibiscus and 1/2 mango and it was amazing. I ordered a cup of chili and the build your own sandwich with roast beef and pastrami. Everything was full of flavor and tasted amazing. Great find I am not from the area, but was told they have a location in Brunswick, GA which is a few hours from home, but I definitely go there when I’m in the area.

We always stop here back to college. The people are friendly, the food is delicious and service is always with a smile. We just love the music! Yellow is my favorite color too! The Reuben is yummy, Dandy blend Latte is scrumptious! Great atmosphere, good prices and even better with friends.

LOVED this place!! The decor is sort of "old restored barn", with trendy aspects. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. I had the butternut squash soup and cranberry cashew salad with house vinaigrette. Homemade bread on the side. Nice variety on the menu, and staff were amazing. Makes me wish I lived in Oneonta so I could eat there more often!

Stoped by after picking the kid up from college and it was later on a Monday as most places were closed. This place nope and it was busy. No wait on the table as we entered the back door it has the Woodstock,NY vibe. Lots of fun decor to look at and they had a working open dumbwaiter. The menu is slim but has the right amount of choices. I had the Reuben of corse with a side of cinnamon bun. It was good not great. It was a different spin on a traditional sandwich. The boy reported he liked his. The staff definitely moves at their pace and sometimes it’s not a bad thing to slow it down. In short it’s a cool spot that I will go back and try the famous root beer.

Perfect and cute little cafe. So many choices. Amazing woodwork inside. It’s one of a kind. The food is good, staff are friendly. We were in town for Cooperstown baseball tournament. Chili was amazing. Guacamole was fresh and sandwiches are amazing. You can’t go wrong! @food_from_the_usa
