Excellent ice cream at a reasonable price. Very good, very quick service especially for how busy it was. The attendant that served us was Isaac and he made the visit even more memorable. I would recommend to anyone looking for ice cream.

All the flavors we tried were delicious and sizes were great. Milkshakes are thick and rich. And hand packed pints and quarts are perfect if you want to take some home too.

Fantastic homemade style creamy ice cream that comes in a number of great flavors. Their salted caramel is to die for! The staff is friendly and happy, randomly singing as they scooped. It made for a nice, welcoming environment. Their prices reasonable as well as good portion sizes. In the middle of January they even had a hot chocolate bar. We found this place by accident and we are so glad we did. We will definitely be returning for more sweet treats!

Great ice cream and service. Many of there flavors are always available, but they also have seasonal or new flavors periodically come out for a limited time, which is a good reason to keep coming back. Fresh waffle cones are very good.

I've been to so many ice cream joints and I've rated only one other one 5 stars. This place is amazing in the scope and quality of ice cream offered. Flavors you will not find elsewhere and its so creamy and smooth! Waffle cones are tasty and can have a fudge filled happy ending at the bottom. If you are in Corning make it a point to stop here. They also have a rewards program that is pretty decent too!

This is the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. I say that without the slightest bit of exaggeration. My girlfriend and I went for the first time last year while up in the finger lakes. We had so much fun we’re going up again this year for her birthday so I’m hoping to order an ice cream cake for the occasion. I know she’ll love it!

Lots of yummy flavors, plus a soft-serve machine for chocolate and vanilla. Husband wanted soft-serve chocolate, but their machine was down. This place has some amazing flavors that can also be made into milkshakes. Coupled with their very generous portions at really low prices, and a fantastically enthusiastic staff, this place is a must-stob-by location for anyone who likes ice creams and shakes. Note, they are really generous in their portions so ask for small even if you wanted a large.

My favorite regular flavor is birthday cake. I can't find any copycat flavor from the grocery store that matches. But I also love trying the seasonal flavors that they create! If they don't have a pint or quart container ready to go, they'll hand pack one for you with the flavor of your choice. Always friendly service when I go.

It's a great place to stop while visiting town! They have some good vegan flavors (could use a few more though!), but don't carry sugar cones for some weird reason. The waffle cones made on site are popular, but not vegan, so you might be stuck with a boring plain cone if you're concerned about such things.

It's just, hands down, the best product in the area. They may not have all of the silly ice cream gimmicks like dips, or "flavor burst"... whatever the heck that is. But they have the best ice cream (which they make right, btw. It's their ice cream, not bought from some supplier). If you just want to taste what really well made ice cream tastes like, this is the place. Recommend getting the waffle cone, as they make those fresh, as well. If you want some silly, colorful, soft serve concoction that looks like something you'd buy at a circus, look elsewhere. Only negative I'd say is that, because this is ice cream that they make, sometimes you fall in love with a flavor only to find a couple weeks later that it was a seasonal thing (like Cookie Monster... *sigh*). If you really like a flavor, ask the staff if it's a temporary/seasonal flavor and, if it is, you can just ask them to scoop you a quart/pint/half gallon/trough of it to hoard in your fridge. If you're deciding between this place and another ice cream place, here's a little illustration of how good it is: Driving home from CNY, my family was passing through Ithaca. I asked my 4 year old if she wanted to stop for ice cream, and she said yes... But then when she realized it wasn't the "3D" (our nickname), she said no, she'd wait until we got back to Corning. So, a 4 year old was willing to endure another 30 minutes in the car without ice cream, because it wasn't from this place. I think that's as solid a review as one can provide.

Omg have you tried the pistachio ice cream the different levels of flavor blew me away. Ps they put fudge in the bottom of the cone so the ice cream doesn't drip out. I think that's pretty awesome, not that I really want hot fudge to be the last thing I taste when I finish my cone but for some flavors it's wonderful. This place is a wonderful ice cream parlor you've got to hit it up if you're looking for ice cream in the area.

Delicious ice cream, great service, and hearty servings Having tried multiple flavors, I’ve enjoyed every single one of them. I don’t even taste any more, because I’m confident that, whatever my choice, it will be good. The servers are always friendly and efficient, and the servings generous, especially at the price point. Truly a quality - and more importantly, tasty - product. My only complaint is that they were closed on a Monday night, which is hardly a complaint and entirely reasonably. One area for improvement would be to allow tipping at the register - I’ve found myself short of suitable bills to tip on two occasions.

Dippity Do Dah's served Ice Cream at our at our Patient Appreciation Ice Cream Social. We had hundreds of patients at this event. They came with their ice cream truck expecting a much lower number of customers based on years past. Regardless, they were prepared with enough bowls & cones & ice cream to serve hundreds more than planned for! The line was from the ice cream truck to the end of our parking lot consistently for 2 hours, and they did not miss a beat! They brought their most popular ice cream and sorbet options, and everyone was SO pleased. Scheduling was a breeze and they put us down for a later date in case we ended up with rain on the original date. Dippity Do Dah's did an excellent job - thank you for joining us!

Waffle cones are made on-site and fresh in front of you. The ice-cream itself was unreal. We gad the pistachio and chocolate. The pistachio ice-cream had plenty of pieces of pistachio in it. The chocolate ice-cream was also delicious. Taking bites of the waffle cone with the ice-cream was legit. Loved it!

Dippity Do Dahs has a great selection of freshly made ice cream. The flavors are tasty and unique, but they can disappear quickly, so it’s best to go earlier in the day. Dippity Do Dahs is where it's at!!! My favorite seasons for ice cream are summer and fall. Because that's when they have my absolute favs!! If you're here during the summer and you like peanut butter and fluff. Then you better stop in and get their Peanut Butter Fluff ice cream, you won't regret it! And for you pumpkin lovers in the fall. You better hurry on in to get that Pumpkin ice cream before it's gone. It tastes just like pumpkin pie minus the crust. Speaking of crust if you like waffle cones you should check out their homemade cones. There's nothing better than homemade ice cream in a homemade waffle cone. This might be some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Stopped in after a nice dinner for a little something sweet. The store had an old school ice cream spot feel. As soon as you walk in you can smell the waffle cones being made in the waffle grill. The smell is amazing and intoxicating. I hope heaven smells like this. I ordered Smores and asked them for some marshmallow fluff on the side, which was a genius addition to the ice cream. Someone else in our party got a sundae with maybe 3 flavors of ice cream, caramel (it might have been hot fudge), chocolate sauce and whipped cream. One of the flavors in the sundae was Dark Matter, which was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Parking is free street parking. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed this sweet excursion.

This ice cream was absolutely delicious! The only downside was when I ordered “two scoops,” I got what is pictured: A LOT. The prices are very fair, but be warned that their sizes are very large, at least in the waffle cones! That being said, I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good ice cream. There is a good amount of seating inside to enjoy, and it is not too cold to enjoy sitting there.

The ice cream is so good! I had the PB&J, and loved the flavor. It is a little crowded, but I think it's because it's one of the few ice cream places open in the winter. Needs more chairs.

Delicious homemade ice cream, with lots of flavors to choose from. Given that it's homemade, it does tend to be a bit more expensive which adds up quickly when you're bringing your whole family. The shop is cute, but seating does run out quickly. It's definitely worth getting if your visiting, but the cost makes it a once in a while treat not a regular stop.

This is my favorite ice cream in the area. Their vegan ice cream is very appreciated, and especially the seasonal flavors! It's so nice to have choice. Of their non-vegan options, the chocolate peanut butter is my favorite. You really can't go wrong! A kiddie scoop is really two generous scoops, so if you're not looking for a lot, you're still going to have left overs! My only negative note about them is their tablet, which they use to take orders and you use to sign with a finger on card transactions, has been a sticky, crusty, gross surface to touch EVERY time I've been there. I know ice cream melts and gets on everything, but please consider having wipes to clean the tablets with more often! Pictured is the seasonal Pecan Cheesecake Turtle.

Stuff tastes great. I had coffee flavor. Place was filled when we came in. We sat on a wierdly placed table. They asked “cone or dish?” And I thought cone represented the cup. It did not. I recommended they call it a cup rather than a dish to make it less confusing. It’s really good and the service is great.

Went here today. Let me say first, the ice cream was above average, very tasty, very creamy, even superior to other places...come here for the ice cream quality. Prices very decent as well. Service was eh. Lots of employees but all were working with 1 customer. Although our server was new (first day I think), you should know in general, when working in the food industry, not to put fingers/hands in the cup that the customer will eat from.

Perfectly edible, nothing spectacular. Painfully overpriced - 2-3floz ice cream $8, 4floz milkshake $8. goodness! Service is a bit frantic and disorganized, still kind though.

I’ve gotta say, I went in a couple days ago to order two shakes and it was really a disappointing experience. This was my first time trying a shake here, and I’m not sure if they are potentially a hassle to make, but the person helping me seemed unhappy with my choice. As they went to scoop the ice cream for my first shake, I heard them muttering “are you freaking serious” as they bent down. I’m sure they thought I was out of earshot, and they may well have not been frustrated at me, but they were obviously annoyed and it left me feeling guilty about my order. When I got the shakes, they were so liquid-y and unflavored (it seemed like very little ice cream was used) that my boyfriend and I laughed, joking that we’d been served 2 glasses of milk. To be fair, I’d like to think that the staff would have corrected this if I’d asked them to make them again, but I already felt like ordering them in the first place had been an annoying request. For just under $20 for 2 shakes, I left feeling pretty disappointed about the visit. I think the price/quality/experience just didn’t hit the mark. That said, I’m sure the ice cream is worth a visit! Maybe just pass on the shakes; I think they’d be better left off the menu.

The ice cream was okay - the chocolate ice cream was not very flavorful. My biggest issue was the service. If I could make a recommendation to this store it would be to ask people if they had been there before when greeting them. I had not been there before and when I asked for a simple two scoops with chocolate on the bottom and mint chocolate on top - it led to a response from the server about single scoops, double scoops, how much I wanted in a cup size, even though I asked for a waffle cone. It just became confusing and when I seemed puzzled as to what I was being asked, the server just stared at me. Also, they asked if I wanted fudge at the bottom of my waffle cone. I declined but had they explained that the fudge probably (I'm guessing) would have kept my waffle cone from dissolving and my ice cream running out, I would have reconsidered. I think both of these issues could easily be remedied with better communication with new customers. Oh, my scoops were also in the opposite order I requested. That's just the cherry on top.

Nice shop, good variety in flavors, and thought of homemade ice cream is nice. My family got the dark matter flavor, which we liked, a dark chocolate with brownie ice cream. However, the line was extremely long, and the ice cream was pretty mediocre. The ice cream flavors we got weren’t very creamy or special, and were really sugary. The portions are fine. Really just regular ice cream and a long wait.

I drove 20 minutes to get a waffle cone and they were out. The salted caramel ice cream was honestly not great, I’d rather the Great Value brand. The staff seemed frazzled and over it, they weren’t nearly as nice as they were when my partner went in a few weeks ago. I will not be going back or recommending this place to my friends.
